[191.5] Jack: We have just came back from the beginning of the week from the drone nationals, the UK drone nationals.

[206.5] Tony: Yeah, it was very, very scary.

[216.5] Tony: And it was very nerve wracking, but it was good fun and well organized.

[225.5] Jae: But when I got to see it on the spectator side, it was very good.

[228.5] Jae: And I mean, I think we at least got to about 70 people or so at the sideline through the height of the day before the rains came.

[238.5] Jack: Right. So what we'll do is we'll introduce ourselves and our roles and stuff and, you know, who we are and what we're about.

[249.5] Jack: I started flying about a year, just well, just over a year.
[253.5] Jack: I work as a technician for Radio C.
[257.5] Jack: And what else do I do, guys?
[259.5] Jack: I fix Tony's quad a lot and I crash a lot.
[262.5] Jack: I'm not the best pilot and I do really stupid stuff.
[265.5] Jack: Just because you fly is like mental.
[267.5] Jack: Yeah, no worries.
[269.5] Jack: Nico here, he's a bit unwell, so he's not mic'd up, but he can lean over and talk to my mic.
[275.5] Jack: And he is, your job is the newbie who's not new.
[280.5] Jack: So if we start talking about really confusing stuff, which is like 98% of the time, you can go, whoa, whoa, whoa, guys, what the hell are you on about?

[321.5] Jack: Okay, even though you're not new because you've been doing it for a year and we're going to get you to do some more flying and we're going to build your quad as well.

[333.5] Niko: I saw one at the Hidden Valley event and just, I was just obsessed with watching this thing fly around.

[347.5] Jae: Yeah, I haven't done that yet, but I remember you saying it was an amazing thing and you wanted to get one, so.
[351.5] Niko: I need to find that guy's rate because it felt so amazing.
[356.5] Jae: I think that's sometimes the trickiest part, to get them to fly perfectly, to get all the rates and all the settings on them.

[984.5] Jae: And on that, I had a multi-week one that was a bit bigger,

[990.5] Jae: And the only two that I'm really flying is my larger one
[993.5] Jae: that's a big beast of a model known as the Beetle,
[996.5] Jae: which is a QAV540G with a gimbal integrated onto it.
[1000.5] Jae: But I tell you what, these 250s are the most fun ever
[1003.5] Jae: because I can just put it up and fly it around
[1005.5] Jae: and just bash it around,
[1006.5] Jae: whereas I don't really with my other ones as much.
[1008.5] Jack: Were you being too precious and stuff?
[1010.5] Jae: Well, when it costs upwards of a thousand pounds,
[1012.5] Jae: it's a bit different than if it's a couple of hundred pounds
[1015.5] Jae: up in the air.
[1016.5] Jae: So, yeah, it does make a difference.
[1018.5] Jae: And it's more enjoyable flying the 250 these days.
[1021.5] Jae: And I think there's such a good thing for the hobby
[1024.5] Jae: and the industry because they're easy to get hold of,
[1026.5] Jae: they're cheap, they're easy to repair.

[1030.5] Jack: Yeah, I mean, especially the carbon fibers and the fossil stuff,
[1033.5] Jack: whatever the hell that stuff's made out of.
