[69.66] Jack: up in a hot air balloon but apparently got cancelled it was very windy today yeah and
[75.02] Jae: they don't really like flying in the wind have you been in one Jack? No I'd love to um thank

[88.78] Jack: the canvas there's a picture of Dom me and Tony um out in the hidden valley so we were like the
[95.18] Jack: first people to go fly there for a while and we were in there uh this weekend and we had a blast
[102.54] Jae: yeah yeah sadly I couldn't make it down that way but uh it did look like a lot of fun I've seen
[106.78] Jae: some of the videos from it loads of fun well last week you were I was down there but not
[113.58] Jae: it was days earlier than that so yeah it was quite a good day it was fun and we had good
[119.02] Jae: weather but it was a game windy down that way and the wind did cause a little problem for me
[123.66] Jae: in FPV but I was the wind is a bit of a problem sometimes uh for flying these small little things
[132.06] Jae: and wind shear behind the buildings but it's a great sight you know if I was only a little bit
[136.3] Jae: closer I'd be down there so much more yeah hidden valley yeah where is your favorite place to fly
[142.22] Jae: anyway I've never asked oh I've got to say hidden valley I mean I've always quite liked the
[148.06] Jae: picturesque places for if I'm trying to get the video or the um photography aspect but uh probably
[155.34] Jae: in that sense out in house or up in Scotland in the out hebrides because it's so rugged yet there's
[161.42] Jae: there's some megalithic structures that are of interest and yeah so I I'm slowly turning you
[167.74] Jack: to the dark side though because uh well Tony as well because Tony put uh uh gravity 250 in your
[174.3] Jack: hands and I've been slowly edging you towards the 250 world indeed in fact of the most type of uh
[182.38] Jae: multi-roadest things that I have it's the 250s now enough parts for the 250 range yeah there oh
[189.82] Jae: I love them I mean that's what I love flying these days because they're just so fun
[193.98] Jae: and also for people watching them that haven't really seen them fly they're so much more fun
[197.9] Jae: because they'll flip and they'll dance around the sky rather than just float up and then float
[201.74] Jack: around you know what I mean yeah they're fun yeah that's crazy yeah I mean um I I snapped uh
[209.74] Jack: I snapped an arm on my um uh ZMR or ZMR and um yeah I was pretty gutted so I went uh onto thug
[221.89] Jack: and they stopped making that thickness in arm so I had to buy a whole new set of arms and I just
[228.37] Jack: don't want to fly it anymore so I'm going to change frames I can't say what frame I'm going
[232.53] Jack: to change to but I'm changing is it just going to be a transplant or are you going to buy all
[237.57] Jack: new things for a new frame oh man I'm not that rich I'm not um it's going to be a transplant but
[243.49] Jack: I'm going to I'm going to give kiss CSEs one more try yeah yeah for real you know because I just
[250.69] Jack: I just really like them you know because they got uh is it dedicated um man
[259.17] Jack: like I want to say drivers can't remember what they are um no it's gone but yeah it's just the
[266.77] Jack: response and I was digging out well I say me I was uh Daniel Upton was digging out
[276.69] Jack: information on someone's made a lovely lovely chart and I will find it so the whispers can put the
[286.53] Jack: um chart yeah the chart yeah but basically it was an ESC performance test and you know someone got
[295.09] Jack: one of those turnergy um bench testing things with the uh basically a little scale set and it
[301.25] Jack: measures thrust in grams and um rigged up you know had a standard motor and rigged up a
[308.77] Jack: rigged up a few yes loads of different ESCs all the way hang on let's have a look let's see what
[314.77] Jack: was that was in the test um the RX40A uh 14 volt beta um X rotor 40 amps performed really well
[330.05] Jack: uh XR 20 amp uh beta kiss 30 amp then it was kiss 18 then MR uh
[344.53] Jae: I know it's so nerdy we're finally living up to our name yeah straight out with the ESC yeah I know
[350.53] Jack: I know but but worrying right it goes all the way down the list till we start getting to something
[355.89] Jack: we recognize so like two more that we don't know and then it's rotor geeks RG20s are really good
[364.69] Jack: the RG20s version 14.1 in beta was that then and then the Afro 20 amps uh I think these are the
[374.69] Jack: race ones because they were all they were in beta as well and um the Afro 20 amp high voltage
[382.05] Jack: and then DYS SN20s in beta as well ah and then like at the very last DYS Simon 30 amp it's crazy
[396.61] Jae: I think yeah if you find that chart I think that'd be good to know I've got it hang on I'm
[400.53] Jack: going to put the link in the description well uh people in the chat room uh a board and one
[406.45] Jae: no no no no of the ESC list they mentioned little b20 amp or at least little b and I was looking at
[413.73] Jae: the uh site today after your recommendation as well Jack and they're out of stock but
[420.21] Jae: expected stock tomorrow the second so I guess if there's anyone looking for them they are back in

[439.73] Jack: parts I know I asked Boris B what ESCs he runs and he said them but it's 40 pounds for me to
[448.53] Jack: change over plus you know always buy them in fives people always buy them in fives and this is the
[455.41] Jae: whole reason why people go ready made sometimes yeah because I mean there's so much choice out
[460.61] Jae: there now and it's it's on ESCs on firmware on ESCs which boat boot loaders and all these different
[466.37] Jae: things just for the ESCs alone then the flight controllers and I can see why people can be a
[471.33] Jae: little bit overwhelmed when they're first wanting to start yeah I mean I mean at least you and I
[476.37] Jae: have some experience in what these things are and you know and a lot of the other people that are in
[480.69] Jae: the flying already do but for a new car which is a hubby and sport yeah yeah I mean I I I vow I
[489.73] Jack: promise myself that I will do a ah yeah happy birthday Tony happy birthday Tony I promise and
[500.59] Jack: I vow with the help of someone called Ed I will I will make a beginner's guide I will make a British

[543.55] Jae: technology on the sense and avoid which is the the technology that's still uh yet to make it
[550.27] Jae: through to a consumer level I think yeah and he's still being tested probably patented and all
[556.43] Jae: sorts but at least he's looking to help with the technology and that's why I never understood why
[561.07] Jae: they had so much problems but maybe it was a well I'm not going to speculate it could be all sorts
[566.43] Jae: but I'm glad it's back on the airwaves and flying yeah I just want to I want to say a special thank

[819.07] Jack: and he takes back the uh do you know do you know what the uh correct acronym for uh lasers i heard
[826.19] Jae: it just again the other day but i don't know i can't remember i've had too much other stuff i know
[832.35] Jack: oh come on and i love lasers don't get me wrong i think lasers are amazing cool i hope that the

[1087.52] Jack: one and um well i mean look i went to the first fpv league but i never got to run because i didn't
[1093.36] Jack: have 10 pound on me and i should have made friends more quickly and asked someone because
[1098.88] Jack: someone would have lent me some money maybe because everyone's great in fpv but uh yeah
[1104.4] Jack: they're recommending using 180 quads in that race and i'm just wondering a 150s band and if anyone
[1111.44] Jack: knows or rolls with that group can uh yeah can you let us know right over to you jay i'm gonna

[1193.36] Jack: dinosaurs chasing us um they they counted as the near miss when you went near them i was gonna say

[1281.28] Jack: built and made the mini tricopter i say built it's got no top can and uh the battery was just
[1289.04] Jack: balanced there with tape yeah with sometimes we put tape when i went to flip it you weren't there
[1295.52] Jack: but when i went to flip it i put some electrical tape on but um yeah it was good fun it was slippery
[1302.48] Jack: like the tail servo on the yaw you'd yaw i bet that was and it was nice it was nice and smooth
[1307.28] Jack: and all of a sudden it would like swing round yeah which is a little bit very drift car like
[1313.12] Jack: but it's right up your street then yeah totally but uh yeah you're right it does look a bit ghetto
[1319.84] Jack: there's no top plate on there a bit mate i'm still waiting for a camera but all in all uh whispers

[1332.48] Jack: or am i just pleased to see you because uh the tricopter does does fold up it does fit in your
[1341.28] Niko: pocket yeah i've experienced it firsthand have you yeah like you want one didn't you i i do
[1347.76] Niko: but i also want my my normal size tricopter so i'm probably going to just have to fork out
[1353.28] Jack: and build another separate mini one well thanks to um at radio c again you will have decent fpv
[1363.6] Jack: on your tricopter and we will finish that tricopter tonight so we've got to level it
[1369.76] Jack: we've got to find the point of where the servo is doing the least amount of work
[1374.96] Jack: and um i strongly suggest you put landing gear on there yeah uh whether it be with tape
[1381.44] Jack: or cable ties i don't care i've got no cable ties left i have i found loads in my bag of

[1463.04] Jae: you know i've got an even softer spot for people over there they they're up against some of the

[1473.2] Jack: reason i like new zealand slightly in in a way is that you can legally drive k cards from japan
[1481.84] Jack: really yep you can't do that in australia obviously australia's mask but you know like
[1487.12] Jack: why would you want to drive like a small what could be considered as an ice box of death
[1493.04] Jack: do you know like the whole if you were to fill the whole volume of the car with fuel for no room no
[1500.72] Jack: driver no no just anything it's empty probably wouldn't be enough fuel is it just engine wheels
[1507.6] Jack: and a giant fuel tank you probably still wouldn't be able to get across yeah but mate across australia
[1513.36] Jae: you can only drive at 70 miles an hour you know so the equivalent of 70 miles an hour across the
[1520.4] Jae: whole of australia and yet we can drive pretty much 80 on the motorway if you're lucky 85 more
[1526.08] Jae: whatever but you can still generally drive a little bit faster than 70 miles an hour on
[1530.56] Jae: british roads where there's people in other cars and trucks the only thing they've got out there
[1535.04] Jae: is kangaroos and if a kangaroo hits your car and sends you off the road you're in the middle of
[1539.28] Jae: the desert you probably die if you don't know what you're doing so the thing is i would abuse
[1542.56] Jack: australians more if i wasn't afraid no because like they're mental they're lively they're lively
[1552.08] Jack: people and then the other side of the the flip coin is that jay's hang on jay's accent is british
[1559.44] Jack: enough to slip on by most people yeah and if they he doesn't talk enough so if i'm there insulting
[1566.72] Jack: australia uh they might just take offense to me and they're like i wonder where bright until i fly

[1691.26] Jack: every one of them good job even the planes there was a large section in the bmfa handbook and i
[1696.86] Jae: did see a post a couple of posters on uh facebook um there's the news about the drone racing at the
[1702.54] Jae: national and tony got a mention on that so that's quite good uh that's basically the event that took
[1707.82] Jae: place out in lincolnshire the nationals whether you know i think i managed to read some of it
[1713.42] Jae: and uh it was quite good that at least got a mention in the bmfa which were let's face it
[1717.18] Jae: quite embarrassed to be putting on at last minute but it you know it was a great day and it turned

[1964.62] Jae: you want um container but if it renders out uncompressed video files at 1080p or more
