[96.96] Jack: guy and it turned out he was um a student in Brighton as well so that was pretty crazy and
[104.32] Jack: yeah made a little friend because until until then I um didn't have no friends. Yeah I was gonna say
[112.4] Jack: he's that one friend you've got now Jack. Yeah my only friend uh because I'm incredibly rude and mean

[129.44] Jae: it's a lot of effort for you. We may actually be changing time hopefully I don't know if that's uh
[134.96] Jae: it's still maybe possibly in the pipeline but if it starts later then I'm more likely to be able

[159.28] Jack: pocket to warm them up before you fly them. Yeah that's a good tip. Yeah batteries do decrease
[164.32] Jack: much faster wind cold. Exactly get a little electric blanket for them I think. You can buy
[172.16] Jack: we can we can go into this this is one of the topics I thought I might bring up to you guys
[176.32] Jack: is surviving winter as a flyer. You can get a charging heat roll mat that you plug in your lipos
[187.28] Jack: plug in a lipo and wrap your lipos up and it will gently keep them toasty. Oh that's good.
[193.28] Jack: Um you could also get a transmitter mitt. Yeah I think I'm going to get one.
[198.0] Jack: Turnigy makes a good one apparently uh David uh Vindestall uses his so that'll keep your hands
[205.04] Jack: warm. You can also get the zippo pocket lighters that you uh heat them up and that'll keep your
[211.68] Tony: hands warm. Fingerless gloves. I remember I started flying I've never I haven't done a winter yet
[219.52] Tony: because I started in March. Really? You've never flown anything in winter. No this is going to be
[224.8] Tony: my first winter of you know flying um properly. I mean I've flown through a few winters and to be
[233.52] Jae: honest you might be warm enough when you first go outside you might be warm enough in the car when
[238.0] Jae: you get to the place but as soon as you're out there for 10 minutes you do start feeling the
[241.12] Tony: temperature. Yeah I remember yeah sitting on a bench march freezing cold fingers were absolutely
[247.44] Tony: freezing. I was all right but my fingers. Yeah that's usually your hands and your head you need
[252.0] Jack: to keep warm. Yeah uh Martinez said something sensible on the show uh oh god. Hand warmers on
[259.52] Jae: your lip warmer. Yeah that's the other thing for the guys you do need to keep your tackle warm.

[299.28] Jae: Star Wars Battlefront looks awful. No no no you see Jack has taste. Fallout 4 is well Fallout 3
[305.12] Jack: was an ace game and I can't wait to get Fallout 4. Did any of you guys play Fallout 1? What has
[310.4] Jae: happened to this show? No no it's let's play and fly out. I never played the original ones.
[318.24] Jack: Right segwaying into liftoffs out. Any of you played it? No don't. No I've seen a few videos on it
[324.96] Jae: and it does look pretty good but it is an unfinished product so there's weird noises
[330.16] Jae: when you pause it and everything but so far good reviews on it and now's the point if you want to
[335.44] Jae: get involved in the development of the game you can sign up for it and buy it and then the developer
[341.68] Jae: will be taking on sort of tips and you know whatever advice you give. But I think the
[347.6] Jae: interesting thing of their liftoff game is it's on Steam and they often have a workshop style
[355.12] Jae: approach so people get their own maps and that could be quite interesting.
[360.96] Jack: Yeah that that is a point. I watched last night I watched a comparison video for um
[368.56] Jack: let me just turn yeah liftoff versus Freerider. That's the one I've got at the moment. But like
[381.01] Jack: I was I was watching it and the person who was doing the comparison had liftoff and they were
[388.45] Jack: they had an on-screen display and they had the horizon bar and nothing puts me off more than
[395.33] Jack: having a horizon bar. Well if you're racing minicods you don't need a horizon bar. And
[403.57] Jack: the other thing I noticed was no there seemed to be very little camera tilt on the liftoff and I
[410.61] Jack: don't know whether the person I know because you can customize everything. You can choose motors.
[414.93] Tony: I think you can go in there and do that. I've seen people talking about going into the actual
[419.73] Tony: program and changing the camera height. Well yeah that HPI guy has put up a video where he's playing
[426.69] Jae: it with his Terenas and um yeah he talked about how to move the camera angle so I think it is
[432.13] Jae: possible um but who knows. I do need to get it. I think at the moment for a pre-release 14 quid
[439.17] Jae: is quite expensive. I mean you've got the game but yeah to me it just doesn't look that great.
[448.77] Jack: No no yeah but isn't your um I don't want to I don't want to upset anyone.

[869.63] Jae: it and I did my own little risk assessment and it was pretty safe from what I was doing
[873.47] Jae: but I probably shouldn't have flown without permission but to get some uh to get an artistic
[878.75] Tony: shot I think that's important sometimes sometimes it is a DJI I've updated their uh
[885.07] Jack: their stuff and they didn't read anything I'd like I'd like you to refer to them as the fun police
[892.75] Tony: yeah they are the fun police as well because well I mean let's let's face it though they are one of
[898.11] Jae: the biggest manufacturers of drones that buy off the shelf and go out to fly without any knowledge
[901.79] Jae: of how they work so in one sense I think it's a good idea that they're doing it it's for all
[907.55] Jae: the professional operators they're also going to be affected however DJI are going to allow you to
[911.95] Jae: unlock it with a valid and verified credit card debit card or mobile phone and then they will
[917.95] Jae: allow you to fly even in restricted areas so it's not an end all to flying wherever you like
[922.51] Jae: it's just that they want to have some accountability should all go wrong at least they've got well you
[926.83] Jack: were flying on that day we had tracks at yours we've got you I love I love Jay because like I'm sure
[933.39] Jack: that Dom worked it out that with the stuff that comes out of Jack's mouth we needed Jay to defend
[941.79] Jack: DJI and all its glory because I'm going to sit here defending them for the next 10 minutes and
[947.07] Tony: pick apart right so I like their products a lot what they do is just trying to be more safe though
[954.19] Jack: yeah I've just I you don't own it you know what I mean well that's what somebody was saying but
[963.26] Jae: in the same token I wrote back on a comment you technically you own a car if you buy one but you
[968.22] Jae: don't generally drive on the sidewalk pavement you know in pedestrian areas that's got nothing to do
[974.14] Jae: that people feel free when they're in the whole sky is there and we'll know there's restricted
[980.06] Jae: airspace and there's all sorts of conditions to it so I think they're just trying to to help the
[985.1] Jae: industry get established you know rather than blanket outright bans from the outset at least
[991.42] Jae: if they can protect passenger airliners I think it's not a bad move I think it's a bit clunky how
[997.58] Tony: they've done it but it's not a bad move especially giving you credit card deals even though I'm not

[1050.46] Jae: and it caused a crash in a plane they're going to try and protect themselves by shifting the blame
