[131.52] Tony: so i don't know what to do i've dropped my pea peas down a bit but i don't know i've i've found

[235.28] Jack: mini um quad of eds as like a little warm-up sordy soldering tutorial you know found something
[242.96] Jack: really difficult that um solder and replace and what else did we do is it the xd60 on on eds quad
[253.36] Tony: so it's nice and flat on the gravities yeah we've done we've done about four different things um
[261.12] Tony: we're just we're just banking a lot of videos and okay yeah ready to pull them all out yeah
[266.32] Tony: just in case like one of us is here one week and we can't record an episode but it's going to be
[271.44] Tony: like um like flight tests but an english version with a bit more comedy with you know it's going

[291.04] Jack: tried to solder on screen and he just yeah he's kept it as some sort of leverage some sort of like

[305.68] Jack: totally tear down i don't like it totally we're on the we were on the same side till you became a
[312.96] Tony: traitor well uh if you look in the post um what baron bon riots looks like he's totally smashed
[320.96] Tony: up his puzzle um that's the one he won in a competition oh no way but he did win the
[327.6] Jack: competition for uh for crash damage so oh my oh whoa is that even warren to
[336.0] Jack: i don't know what he's done to do that he's savage that man is an animal
[343.12] Jack: that is that is unreal i thought you were good at engineering of destruction

[368.16] Jack: he crashed and then the osd stopped working it powers on it passes a video through and then
[375.36] Jack: it just went black and yeah sheer impact and we don't even know what you've done to that um
[382.4] Jack: flight controller you know like there's you're fixing it tomorrow that flight controller
[388.24] Jack: oh the flight controller's fine what the the mistaken blame of boris flight controller
[396.24] Tony: oh that one i don't know what i've done to that one it it flies for 30 seconds and that's it
[401.68] Tony: it's all it can do um can't handle the speed tony well i think that's it just goes on flying it
[411.04] Jack: i mean it shuts down i think it's got to do something to do with flying indoors now there's
[417.28] Jack: only so high he can go and so fast you know like so much momentum he can build up but he crashed
[424.96] Jack: so hard onto a wooden floor that his quad refused to take any inputs but just fly gently
[432.64] Jack: backwards skidding on the floor like a dog trying to wipe its butt on the carpet and that's it flew
[440.08] Neil Cody: the whole hall backwards on the floor on the floor yeah put a broom on in front of it oh
[447.44] Jack: so um come on toan do you want to do you want to give a little announcement um you got a new job
[452.4] Tony: pass no let's um come on let's carry on about powering on so we've done three episodes in the
[460.72] Tony: bank and it's yeah it's gonna be a comedic mix um like flight tests but hopefully a bit more funny

[519.44] Tony: something different by putting tutorials in there as well yeah i'm hoping it will it will be i think

[633.84] Jack: he's got a 250 gravity frame and um he's also a massive tricopter fan went around his house last
[642.24] Jack: night to try out the new triflight for him he's got like a arse explorer and um he's managed to
[648.88] Jack: crash in such a way that he's taken out the small little hidden usb connector that's right by i don't
[656.48] Jack: even know how he's done that so of course i i sent up the um oi dan bat symbol and uh hopefully
[663.68] Jack: he'll come to the rescue dan rescues me even when he's at work neil thank you i i got i got some motors
[671.76] Neil Cody: and yeah and uh a new frame as well yeah that's the new uh tsx frame from tom stanton
[680.64] Neil Cody: and i think brett college did the uh pdb for it uh so yes a lovely looking frame hmm it's an
[687.12] Jack: x style frame isn't it and yeah is it two is it a 220 isn't it they do it in two versions a 220
[693.92] Neil Cody: and a 250 um we've obviously we've obviously gotten both in stock um so yeah we um yeah they
[700.4] Jack: look they've been very very popular can i have it please jack see what i mean he's like instantly

[715.12] Jack: because you're instantly then then you're lucky i didn't come around tonight because i would have
[719.6] Tony: made you fix it for tonight and i'm driving it drove it home drove it home is that a word drive

[732.08] Tony: like you've lost a lot of confidence i have it's because the um yeah just basically the bloody um
[741.36] Tony: my 180 kept cutting out so i'd fly it for a couple of minutes and then it would just drop out the sky
[746.72] Tony: yeah but that's fixed now it is fixed now but now i've got it's really wobbly then i flew the
[752.72] Tony: gravity today and that flew oh i forgot how nice that thing flies the 280 gravity with the 1800
[759.84] Tony: you do like that don't you oh it flies so nice it's brilliant but then um i flew it punch done
[767.2] Tony: a punch out and then lost um lost my uh so i couldn't see so i just flick no i flick the switch
[777.04] Tony: and dumped it into the ground um did it survive oh yeah i mean i'm of confidence in that frame and
[785.2] Tony: or dan's uh or dan's got an i put i fly with a gopro 4 on it um so i'm very confident in it
[793.76] Tony: but that survived as well yeah or uh dan upton uh 3d printed a really nice case for it it's like a
[802.96] Tony: springy type case but hard at the same time it's really a ninja flex the sort of flexible yeah
[810.16] Tony: that's the stuff yeah good good ass yeah it's good so yeah so i've just lost my confidence
[815.92] Tony: because i hate flying and then you just you either drop out or you can't see where you're
[821.04] Jack: going it's just just horrible i mean um i've been you know i've got no idea about the osd
[829.12] Jack: thing is the i've never had much luck with those micro minimum osd's like i'm always hey martin
[835.2] Jack: how you doing um fossil and uh hello martin yeah oh dan says it's poly flex thank you for that yeah
[845.68] Jack: yeah um i've never had much luck with this micro minimum osd he's like and dan seems to get his to
[850.56] Jack: work all the time i don't know whether it's the camera ground loop but that should be fine because
[856.16] Jack: that's what they tell you to do with it run the ground through the osd um admittedly you could
[863.12] Jack: get away with just you know the one ground connected from either your camera or your
[869.12] Jack: voltage transmit uh your vtx but um it's just like another thing to go wrong on a quad
[878.16] Jack: in a way like they're lovely to have you know because like you don't have to run telemetry
[883.6] Jack: because you know you've got your voltage in your screen and um obviously it's handy for like when
[889.44] Jack: you're changing channels and you know you're at the start of the race and you can see your cool
[893.92] Jack: signs you know that you're tuned into yours dan seems to get his to run all the time so i'm not
[899.2] Jack: too sure what's going on there but you know i spent a long time rebuilding that gravity
[905.68] Tony: so it should be spot on it looks bloody lovely even you know when you take the top off and looking
[912.32] Tony: inside your wiring is just really really good is it a yellow one i don't fly yellow
[920.0] Neil Cody: i don't use blue is it because blue's the faster color is that right blue is the fastest color
[924.16] Jack: there is officially yep cool um yeah moving on did you guys see the drl the uh the drone
[934.16] Jack: racing league i think it's called the one through the football stadium yeah man i'm sure it's got
[940.32] Jack: some cg in it it was looks like it oh man how did they fly down through there and then go around
[946.48] Tony: the back of the seats and then come out all through there without losing confidence i don't
[954.16] Jack: it's gotta be on a wire isn't it it's uh i just pretty mad that was don't you know it's like
[961.52] Jack: it's like video games not actual game footage it's like what are you doing just you know they're
[967.04] Neil Cody: cool anyway yeah that's the other one in the building like an old disused or um steam building
[974.8] Neil Cody: or something they were flying around in and out and under under floors and all sorts didn't see
[982.72] Neil Cody: that no after after sending that's an awesome one and i believe they're bringing out a game as a
[987.44] Neil Cody: simulator as well with the same sort of images on it sounds interesting yeah i don't know there's
[995.68] Jack: so yeah there's so many sims out now though there are it's just like i mean um and you know
[1001.6] Jack: like it's a little bit worrying with you know merging rc the one with all the money
[1006.96] Jack: should we say because like those guys are you know big brand now and um you know they're you
[1012.8] Jack: know they're dragging boris b in with air mode but there's everyone's still saying it's a bit
[1016.8] Neil Cody: too floaty i have to send you a new one we've had the uh formula fpv um race uh the whole site
[1026.16] Neil Cody: turned into a sim oh yeah what from the um the guy who was at the drone show yeah yeah he's turned
[1033.68] Neil Cody: our course into a into a course which will be available soon for him to fly around to practice
[1039.52] Neil Cody: for our next event oh that'd be awesome yeah it looks really really good i've seen the uh sort

[1151.28] Tony: a shot week going off the cliff out towards the sea so you can see it and uh some guy just emailed
[1156.72] Tony: and said oh can i use this please i'm writing a book on this apparently he's written a book took
[1161.84] Tony: him two or three years to write and he wanted to use my my footage to promote his books and i said

[1236.88] Neil Cody: and i have found that they are testing that at the moment to bring out slightly shorter
[1240.72] Neil Cody: in their neck on it that's really good news yeah i think they've uh realized that it might for
[1246.88] Neil Cody: for like the racing guys that it might be slightly too long so maybe a shorter version may
[1252.24] Tony: tick more boxes it definitely will i love the due respect antenna but it is it is that
[1259.6] Jack: it's quite long isn't it it's a bit too long yeah and heavy and it is quite quite heavy
[1265.84] Jack: but um the thing is like you know they were making like the race spec antennas like they were using
[1271.68] Jack: the thinner coax and what they had to do because you have to get like a certain length of antenna
[1277.04] Jack: for the the greatest efficiency so they were they were having to wrap it round with cable
[1283.04] Jack: tie yeah in order to get it shorter so i don't know what what it'll be interesting to find out
[1289.52] Neil Cody: what their guy's strategy because uh a lot of it's changing the cable as well to uh yeah an RG142
[1295.84] Jack: or something like that yeah because um you know like a lot of the time like the last
[1302.4] Jack: uh you know um i'd be crazy to do something and he's like that's not possible and
[1307.68] Jack: well he just doesn't want to do something so there's a new there's bringing out a new another
[1313.12] Neil Cody: new aerial um at some stage but it's all very hush hush but there's another aerial coming out
[1319.36] Neil Cody: sometime later on this year which is going to hopefully do wonders awesome yeah technology
[1325.84] Tony: moves so quick doesn't it does too quick i know it is too quick because it must be hard for you
[1332.24] Neil Cody: for you Neil trying oh it's a nightmare you buy something yeah and then you sell it and you think
[1338.24] Neil Cody: well i buy a load more and then all of a sudden by the time you've bought it it's there's a
[1342.16] Neil Cody: replacement come out and now you're stuck with a outdated tech yeah so uh yeah you know it can be
[1349.28] Neil Cody: quite frustrating but um you know we do our best yeah you guys rock we'll try it is a shame that
[1357.76] Jack: like a lot of stuff gets just kind of like dumped on you you know like the you know the sn20s and
[1364.16] Jack: stuff like that you know they're all i mean it's nice that the hobby's moving so fast because
[1369.28] Neil Cody: there's always newer stuff out but it's hard to try and keep track of what the latest things
[1376.64] Neil Cody: that everybody wants you know because um you know the little bees is the current seems to be the
[1382.08] Neil Cody: current go to um ESC at the moment but they'll at some stage there'll be another one yeah well
[1388.64] Tony: they're bringing out a 30 amp version yeah it's quite a bit bigger i think isn't it is it not
[1393.52] Neil Cody: the same size i think it's i think from what us the pictures are slightly bigger yeah um david
[1400.16] Jack: built one uh had a build log of um his like tricopter v uh 3.5 i think not too sure but
[1409.84] Jack: he had a set of um uh little bees uh 30 amp and um they they only they only look to me

[1425.92] Jack: of crazy how you can like run a like 330 size frame on it you know like on tiny little ESCs now
[1436.0] Jack: so it's pretty nuts but um what's it gonna say uh tbs are releasing quite some new stuff they
[1442.96] Jack: got like a weird antenna i don't know what it's all about multiple direction but it might be
[1449.04] Jack: it might be patch i'm not too sure anyone know anything not seen that one um talking to someone
[1455.28] Jack: last night about a zero lag uh camera from them as well oh is that the one with the built-in
[1461.76] Neil Cody: microphone i've got no idea i think it's called a zero from memory the tbs zero could be wrong
[1468.72] Neil Cody: yeah it's minty waterproof and it's got a built-in mic and it looks like a hs 1177
[1477.84] Tony: but it's revamped inside apparently i really want um a mic on mine i tried i bought some mics and
[1485.52] Tony: put a mic in mine but it wasn't very good so i want to run a mic in mine there's quite a few
[1492.16] Neil Cody: of the vtx's now i've got mics built into them haven't they yeah yeah yeah the new that new like
[1498.48] Jack: raceband but i'm not too sure whether it can actually transmit on fact sharp band
[1504.48] Jack: oh yeah that's a point look at chris g like posting links and stuff who's a good boy
[1510.64] Tony: tbs yeah i tell you what i am really interested in is the luminaire i know other companies doing
[1516.96] Tony: it but there's um the luminaire um of etx what can change um frequency on a button as well
[1525.04] Tony: yeah the frequency and power 200 and 600 on a press of a button yeah yeah um and it's quite small
[1532.88] Tony: so i've seen uh the ones that your competitors doing neil and um i think it's quite big and quite
[1540.56] Tony: expensive for what it is so i'm going to order some luminaire ones yeah we i had the one that
[1545.76] Neil Cody: you had a link um that was a 25 and 200 and you would just chop a link out and it was default
[1553.2] Neil Cody: was 25 and if you wanted 200 you could just chop the link but i built one and put a little dip
[1558.24] Neil Cody: switch on it so i could flick it between the two which worked quite well that's good um i'm sure
[1563.92] Jack: it was the other way around because um like 200 and then yeah because um make it i'm sure make
[1570.8] Jack: it build it like made a mistake on the old um that's the little b e sc uh 30 amp sorry um yeah
[1580.72] Jack: because um uh make it build it made the mistake and put like the wrong instructions and it was
[1586.64] Jack: just totally messing up and you had to refund a load oh right so as far as i know he's another
