[433.54] Frank: Get their official ness from I think the Royal Aeronautical Society
[440.3] Frank: Royal Aero Club even and then the Royal Aero Club gets its official ness from I think
[446.58] Frank: But don't quote me on this both the Royal Society and the FAI which are the like
[454.3] Frank: International air sports people Federation
[457.46] Frank: North Eek or something. I don't know something French Timor. I'll tell you
[463.62] Frank: Yeah, so they're kind of the official

[473.3] Frank: Yeah body of racing in the UK so they've been
[477.62] Frank: You know a lot of the groups around the country
[481.82] Frank: Previous to the last year's nuts had a load of different ways of doing everything
[487.34] Frank: There's different rules and kind of no one on the same page about how it works
[491.34] Frank: And then from the pretty I think it's pretty much the last nuts onwards
[497.86] Frank: The the BFP VRA has been people from those groups coming together and coming up with a single set of rules
[506.02] Frank: For how everything should work so that then people aren't learning the rules for each event
[512.3] Frank: Every time from scratch everyone kind of knows what's happening already, which helps speed things up and makes it easier for event organizers
[521.46] Frank: Everyone's also getting
[523.34] Frank: You got membership numbers and you got other stuff as well
[527.9] Frank: so the BFP VRA are taking membership money and putting that into a
[534.02] Frank: Kind of pool of equipment to go around all the different clubs and trying to put on events so that instead of having to buy
[542.5] Frank: an eyelapse timing system and get that running on your own as
[546.7] Frank: Like one club for like two events that you run a year
[550.46] Frank: BFP VRA has a set and as long as you affiliate with them
[553.7] Frank: They'll be happy to lend it out for an event. So you just get it pretty much for free
[558.46] Tony: I think and then you just I think that's what happened at summer's pond, isn't it? We all the gates were supplied

[568.5] Frank: and yeah
[570.42] Frank: Queen's Cup and it will be the championships as well

[734.66] Tony: I mean on the Sunday anyway, I think the Saturday was a bit of a washout and a wind out

[808.74] Frank: So yeah, they kind of went down the list seeing who's available and eventually it got down to me
[813.22] Frank: Because you know, they need people who are not only available but not flying in the event
[817.14] Frank: so eventually they got down to me so yeah, I was commentating with

[823.7] Frank: Yeah, that was it was quite good fun
[827.3] Frank: Unfortunately, I didn't make it on Sunday cuz terrible things happened and I couldn't go but

[835.58] Frank: Saturday, you know, it was definitely very much British weather. So

[869.24] Frank: Delay things a little bit and we were a bit worried that we weren't going to be able to fit in enough qualifying rounds for it

[880.76] Frank: Roto racing managed to pull it out the bag. Everyone was just like boom. Boom. Boom
[885.4] Frank: We got the qualification rounds in so it's all good. But yeah, I believe

[893.6] Frank: narrowly avoided being crushed by scaffolding that collapsed on his tent on the Friday night and
[900.04] Frank: So why are the narrow escape?
[903.48] Jack: Praise the Lord that guy's got kids, you know, he needs to be not dead

[911.12] Frank: Yeah, and of course, you know
[914.56] Frank: Formula FPV is is, you know a good place for having new things
[919.8] Frank: So, you know talk to talking about having the the scaffolding and the tunnels and all that kind of thing

[931.96] Frank: So you actually have to rather than just keep on going through and forward and forward and forward and round and round
[937.52] Frank: You have to kind of go through it flip and come back through one underneath and so, you know that kind of thing

[948.0] Frank: So now we've had like however fast that was 30-40 mile now
[952.8] Frank: I actually have no idea how fast the wind was but it seemed really fast cuz

[960.56] Frank: It seems about right cuz me and Craig and Timor and a few other people that happen to be near at the time in
[966.56] Frank: The in the gazebo where we had all the streaming equipment and the audio equipment and a load of power and stuff
[972.52] Frank: The gazebo was trying to leave

[976.76] Frank: Often so we're having to half with one hand on the mic and another hand on the gazebo just acting as human sandbags
[985.0] Frank: And the gazebo was actually ripping itself to shreds
[987.8] Frank: there were holes that we kept having to tape up run around the tape up, so I think there's probably a

[1002.76] Frank: Tape stuff up and hold stuff down and keep us going

[1015.28] Jack: I love how the we the weather that weekend was horrific and now during the weekday
[1021.72] Jack: We are just all dying of each stroke

[1229.55] Jack: I must say it is something else. It truly is hilarious
