[590.34] Jae: the because the habit wood panels and things it didn't seem to have too much
[595.78] Jae: and it was actually a load of fun with the small micro ones anyway but my moan
[601.14] Jae: tonight is I suppose any of these events that are starting up sometimes it's just
[606.34] Jae: not the direction to well people just get there and start plugging in and
[612.38] Jae: talking rather than actually setting up plans for how they're gonna manage
[616.26] Jae: frequencies because there's all sorts of people all sorts of stuff and yeah a
[622.1] Jae: couple mishaps of the night one where I lost mine in the tire because obviously
[625.3] Jae: these micro things fly into tires at the edge of a go-kart track you might spend
[630.66] Tony: a while looking for yeah it's the worst thing about the whole thing isn't it
[636.86] Tony: who's like trying to organize the frequencies and stuff yeah and then
[641.62] Jae: someone else powered on and I was coming down a fast train ended up crashing
[645.78] Jae: snuffing a numb but it was fun but I guess this is the thing in it as the
[651.5] Jae: hobby grows and more and more people want to get these you know faster more
[655.46] Jae: agile aircraft then the more we need to be mindful is to the safety aspect and
[664.86] Jae: safety briefings because people still come from all sorts of walks and
[667.86] Jae: previously student background and it's evident in the smaller clubs now where
[672.3] Jae: even smaller clubs are wanting to start doing racing or events it's very hard to

[681.3] Tony: powered on or coming to land when they're just going out quite far and you
[685.74] Tony: come in and stick your craft down in front of you and you have to run over

[710.94] Jae: bit of fun so this winter I'm gonna have at least one plus spares they are so

[801.11] Tony: go-kart tracks the go-kart track then are they hiring out or were they just
[808.15] Jae: letting do you know we went through there for essentially to test it out as
[812.35] Jae: a theory and yeah we would hire out the space not the actual go-karts and
[816.95] Jae: anything to do with that we just hire out the space presumably later and
[822.27] Tony: cheaper because it's yeah because they charge an awful lot I mean I went down
[830.23] Tony: to the one in cruelly and asked them if they were game on for it and they were

[841.35] Tony: gonna do it it's gonna be thousands and I was like well that's ridiculous I mean
[846.35] Jae: the worst case scenario is when people find bigger ones because any of the
[850.51] Jae: signage and the banners and the signs that they've put up run risk of being
[854.95] Jae: damaged yeah but whilst they're charging the go-karts up then they can always
[863.43] Jae: rent out the space if it's like a two-hour block I don't know it's
[868.63] Tony: interesting because the tracks already there and you just got to put a few
[871.27] Tony: gates on it and you don't yeah yeah I mean there's some there was some
[875.55] Jae: obstacles going around the track where not very well lit signage or indicators
[881.79] Jae: because when you're in a go-kart even if you stuck your hand up you're only what
[885.51] Jae: a meter tall you know great you know there's very little height here but
[891.87] Jae: coming around off a smooth banks there's options of hitting these things
[896.23] Jae: and that's that's where it also comes into a size limit because it's more when
[900.39] Jae: it makes move the wider turns and some of the others but it was a lot of fun
[906.11] Jae: and perhaps other people if they're inspired they can speak to their local
[908.95] Jae: indoor go-kart at least for the winter months and see what they say because
[914.11] Jack: usually it's tires and concrete or yeah oh my god had a had a run with a with
[925.99] Jack: the go-kart track and he'd done the whole track in 19 seconds which was
[932.87] Jack: unbelievable it was so quick it was crazy I've got I've got a little bit of

[1618.67] Jae: and stuff they just they look the part if they saw they swoop they I think it
[1624.35] Tony: was me for the the from going two minutes flat out to actually having 15
[1630.19] Tony: minutes to half an hour in the air non-stop which I enjoy yeah that's why
[1637.55] Tony: I've just bought this new wing so I can put a GoPro on it because it's been
[1641.31] Tony: carrying my moebas Mobius my other wing and I wanted to carry a GoPro so I can
[1646.87] Tony: get better footage so and I'm hoping to put some long-range stuff on it for this
[1653.59] Tony: winter so me and Brad are gonna sit in his van and have all our antenna on the
[1659.07] Tony: top of his roof and just fly out across in Valley for like 15 minutes out and
[1663.75] Tony: 15 minutes back that's what I plan is trouble is we're sitting in the van with
[1668.55] Jack: sardines that you fly without actually flying after enough time probably would
[1675.71] Jack: yeah yeah what a joker what has he been up to and I can't get hold of that man

[1691.19] Jack: vicious rumor saying like he he hit a granny with a quadcopter and he's been

[1786.79] Jack: using I was now I'm now using a GoPro lens instead of a 2.8 lens because
[1797.51] Jack: that's what I normally fly with just a normal 2.8 I'm not too sure how much I
[1802.43] Jack: like this whole wide-angle malarkey I don't really think it's for me but um
[1807.83] Jack: yeah with the with the D shot had no problems my quad didn't do anything weird
[1812.83] Jack: it didn't fall out the sky it would boot up I feel way more connected to the
[1818.51] Jack: sticks in a way that I've only really experienced with beef right where you
[1826.39] Jack: know you point you point the you know you point the sticks and the quad
[1831.83] Jack: actually moves in that direction with you with hardly minimum of like delay
[1838.79] Jack: whereas and the old firmware version 1.01 on the kissy SCs it was kind of it
[1848.31] Jack: did feel like the old protocol with them with with the multi-way where you kind
[1857.07] Jack: of like just edge and like nudge your quad in the right direction and kind of
[1860.51] Jack: like hope for the best whereas this there's none of that I did a cut the
[1866.11] Jack: flips and that or line of sight and you you kind of lights stop the flip early
[1871.91] Jack: because like your quad kind of carries on that he's got a bit of inertia and I
[1876.63] Jack: would do that with the with D shot and then find that I was still upside down
[1881.55] Jack: and then accelerate which everyone found highly hilarious this is a bit
[1888.11] Jack: embarrassing for me what did you say you actually did you it I stopped
[1895.91] Jack: I'd stop my I'd stop my flip early yeah because usually that the quad would
[1902.27] Jack: carry on a little bit you know you'd stop and then it would kind of like
[1905.51] Jack: return to level yeah and it would stop early and I'd still be upside down and
