[472.9] Jae: but they're out of stock, so you bought a six inch.

[476.9] Clint: So I bought a six inch, and I thought, great,
[478.46] Clint: I'm going to put some six inch props on it.

[481.54] Clint: And I was talking to Neil, and he said,
[485.1] Clint: get lower, like get the double props instead of the tries.
[489.38] Clint: So I got some Dow 6045s,
[492.9] Clint: and I went and flew it on my F60 2500KV pros today.
[497.42] Clint: And twice, the first time, two blades shattered in the air.
[504.02] Clint: And I thought, oh, that was unlucky.
[505.34] Clint: So I put new blades on it, took off again,
[508.42] Clint: and within three seconds,
[511.3] Clint: another blade shattered in the air.
[513.34] Clint: So yeah, I don't think six inch and 2500KV is a good idea.
[518.46] Clint: So I'm going back down to five inch,
[520.74] Clint: and yeah, just changed the arms.
[523.98] Clint: So hopefully it'll be good now.

[531.5] Jae: Over propping sometimes when you've got an increased pitch

[538.22] Clint: because when I looked at the specs of these motors,
[541.7] Clint: I was looking, and the highest thrust value
[545.74] Clint: on their testing was the King Kong
[548.3] Clint: 6045s.
[551.94] Clint: I was like, oh, that's great.
[552.78] Clint: I'll just get some 6045 props.
[555.54] Clint: It turns out it was the 2200 version of these motors
[558.22] Clint: and not the 2500s.
[561.02] Clint: 2500s, there's nothing about six inch props whatsoever.
[564.86] Clint: So yeah, it was my bad.
[569.26] Jae: I mean, I had a, I thought one day,
[571.7] Jae: oh, I've got a six inch,
[573.02] Jae: or it's capable of six inch prop capable quad.
[576.26] Jae: So I put my six inch blades on it, took off,
[578.98] Jae: and about three seconds in,
[580.22] Jae: it all just disarmed and fell.
[582.34] Jae: So ironically, I mean,
[585.22] Jae: I used to fly a lot bigger props like eights and stuff
[587.66] Jae: back when the day when quadcopters started coming out,
[590.58] Jae: eight and 10 were uncommon,
[591.7] Jae: but six has been that elusive number,
[593.46] Jae: and I don't think there's been as much money put into them.
[597.22] Jae: Since we moved to five inch props,
[598.66] Jae: they were sort of the benchmark, I think.
[600.18] Jae: And so perhaps the R and D,
[601.98] Jae: and they do actually spin a lot more pressure
[604.74] Jae: and force on them.
[606.38] Clint: I was really looking forward to it actually.
[607.9] Clint: I mean, when I first put the tri-props on there,
[610.9] Clint: I did get about a minute and a half,
[613.34] Clint: two minutes of flight time
[614.72] Clint: before I started getting problems.
[617.14] Clint: And it was amazing.
[618.02] Clint: I was really made up of it,
[619.74] Clint: but yeah, no, the 2500 KV is too much.
[623.3] Clint: I think from what I've read today,
[625.18] Clint: sort of down the 2000, 2100s.
[629.26] Tony: My best six inch, my first quad was,
[632.58] Tony: my first gravity was a 280,
[634.7] Tony: which swung six inch,
[636.22] Tony: and I used to run the Cobra Racing Edition,
[640.18] Tony: 2100 KV, and they were perfect.
[642.66] Tony: And I still think most people who are doing freestyle
[646.54] Tony: should run a six inch rain,
[647.98] Tony: because it carries a GoPro so much better.
[650.42] Clint: So yeah, that's what I was hoping.
[652.1] Clint: I was hoping for some nice, smooth flying,
[654.74] Clint: but yeah, just unfortunate though,
[657.08] Clint: that these F60s are starting to cut it, so.

[1894.52] Chad K: because it's, for one, it's hard to get the,

[1901.28] Chad K: But once you're in the area, I mean, there's no protection

[1915.28] Chad K: I mean, you might be right in the middle of a hot zone

[1919.36] Chad K: So it's a little scary, but we were there three days.

[2216.88] Chad K: gives you it gives you a different perspective.
[2220.4] Chad K: And you can kind of understand, you know, like scope and scale

[2230.16] Chad K: You can just get a better understanding of the space and
[2232.64] Chad K: what's around it.
[2233.72] Chad K: And you never see that when it's shot with a typical camera
[2237.2] Chad K: because it's always the same shots.
[2238.6] Chad K: They do a wide shot, a medium shot, couple of close shots,
[2242.0] Chad K: another, you know, and they might do an aerial, but they're
[2244.8] Chad K: all these kind of like slow or static moving shots.
[2247.56] Chad K: But to go from like here through here up and around and all
[2251.6] Chad K: within a matter of five seconds, it does it gives you just a
[2254.96] Chad K: unique perspective.
[2255.92] Chad K: You don't get any other way.
[2258.04] Jae: Is that why Legib's kind of on board now with Red Right,
[2260.68] Jae: because he does super smooth cinematic flows and everything.
[2264.72] Jae: You've got it for his cameras.

[2271.28] Chad K: I'm honestly what really piqued my interest with him was every
[2276.96] Chad K: time, you know, I asked around about different pilots on
[2279.72] Chad K: people and get an idea from the community.
[2282.6] Chad K: But something I kept hearing from people about him was how he
[2287.04] Chad K: was very positive, and he's always trying to grow the hobby.
[2290.88] Chad K: And that's pretty much the core of, you know, what we're all
[2294.2] Chad K: about is trying to grow this and, you know, inspire people to
[2299.64] Chad K: get in.
[2300.32] Jae: It's funny, you mentioned the inspire, because it's one of the
[2302.52] Jae: questions going to lead to because I mean, the Red Right
[2305.32] Jae: Facebook groups now, it's 18,000 or 18 and a half thousand.

[2312.8] Jae: But Facebook group, that's huge.

[2322.36] Jae: long time ago about saying, you know, this is obviously a big
[2325.24] Jae: community and it's worldwide reaching and perhaps post stuff
[2328.84] Jae: that inspires other people or is very helpful or shows people a
[2332.04] Jae: different thing.
[2333.16] Jae: And I mean, I've noticed a few people using it for their own
[2337.08] Jae: game rather than hopefully to inspire to say, look at my
[2339.76] Jae: video and hopefully a few more likes on it.
[2341.92] Jae: So I mean, that's something that you would have had to be
[2346.08] Jae: mindful of.
[2348.72] Jae: But obviously, it's probably even going to be bigger.
[2351.0] Jae: What sort of the challenges obviously for you policing and
[2354.04] Jae: things like that?
[2355.2] Chad K: I mean, I keep it pretty simple.
[2357.24] Chad K: I mean, we have a group of admins and moderators that are
[2360.0] Chad K: awesome and they, you know, they I know they're pretty
[2365.36] Chad K: efficient, you know, they take care of things.
[2367.12] Chad K: I don't like censoring.
[2369.36] Chad K: I don't like, you know, keeping people from saying or sharing
[2374.64] Chad K: their thoughts.
[2375.64] Chad K: But what we do is if they share it in a way that is tearing
[2380.96] Chad K: people down, it's gone, you know, and we get rid of it.
[2384.6] Chad K: So that's kind of like the cardinal rule, I should say, in
[2389.52] Chad K: our group.
[2390.04] Chad K: If you're tearing somebody down, if you're like, you know,
[2392.8] Chad K: calling people names and tearing them down personally about
[2396.32] Chad K: their, you know, their personal pay their personal preferences,
[2401.0] Chad K: whatever it might be, but you're using that information to tear
[2405.52] Chad K: them down personally, that's, that's the big no no, everything
[2408.68] Chad K: else I like, for me, as far as I'm concerned, is fair game,
[2411.92] Chad K: like you can have the strongest opinion you want to share it

[2464.6] Jae: know, inspiration for safety first people, we would inspire
[2468.88] Chad K: people to be safe.
[2470.64] Jae: Yeah. But obviously, I mean, you'll always find trolls out
[2474.04] Jae: that they exist in these groups and stuff. And sometimes the
[2476.6] Jae: trolls get, you know, a lot of exposure from more than that
[2480.24] Jae: you should do. And I think the ethos is everything, people
[2484.04] Jae: always trying to help each other out. And it's a shame that
[2486.8] Jae: people think that sort of one person is more deserving another
[2490.88] Jae: and why isn't this and that. So I guess it's a danger with
[2494.36] Jae: motorbike being quite a full, you know, worldwide forum.
[2498.04] Chad K: So I think, I think, I'm hoping now that it's, you know, I think
[2503.88] Chad K: it kind of hit critical mass at some point, you know, once we
[2506.92] Chad K: kind of figure that out, what will probably happen is, you
[2510.48] Chad K: know, you'll have just like school or anything, you'll have
[2513.48] Chad K: kind of, you know, the subgroups break off or whatever. And, and
[2517.44] Chad K: that's fine. It is what it is. I mean, I, I never started, I
[2520.76] Chad K: only started the group. Oh, boy. And I'm embarrassed because

[2572.86] Chad K: a closed. And we still get, like, probably about 50 requests a
[2579.54] Chad K: day. So we turn a lot of people away.
