[24.23] Jack: Hello and I bet you weren't expecting me
[28.23] Jack: Tonight you are joined by the Bravo team
[32.35] Jack: The other guy out flying with right, right?
[35.95] Jack: Yeah, it's getting a bit old-school. So we are joined by producer Frank also known as Andrew. Hello
[45.39] Jack: Andrew and ERC
[47.55] Andy: Hello, thanks for having me
[51.1] Jack: Painless 360. He's got his mute miked. No, that's all right
[54.78] Lee: One of my 3d printers has just kicked into life in classic timing, but good evening. How are you?
[61.18] Jack: Told you around and the RC it weren't it weren't long. That was it
[67.9] Andy: Two seconds in and i'm getting the what did you call it money capped out?
[74.54] Jack: I was gonna call it your pussy. Yes
[78.06] Andy: Make that's what it is though. Anyway only took me five hours to get one. It's gone down already
[88.75] NJ: Hello good to be back in a little while and Tony
[95.63] Jack: Yeah
[97.23] Jack: For you french listeners right? All right. We'll be with you shortly. Wow. It's good to be back. It's good to be
[103.55] Jack: Here chatting. It's good to be surrounded by the people I know and love
[109.47] NJ: You've been you've been absent for for such a while. Tell us what shenanigans you've been
[114.51] Jack: You've been up to not not much like, you know, uh, just you know arguing with people
[122.27] Jack: Falling asleep loads
[124.51] Jack: uh
[125.95] Jack: No
[127.95] Jack: Doing a bit of building here
[130.27] Jack: No, I haven't what happened was I went to fly
[133.95] Jack: the
[134.75] Jack: EFCs
[136.67] Jack: The pdb shorted that I got for my birthday from mosca lang
[141.39] Jack: namedrop right there
[142.91] Jack: um
[143.95] Jack: Yeah, it's shorted like the I cable tied my ese so tight to the carbon frame that they shorted
[149.71] Jack: Shorted the right hand side of the pdb
[152.83] Jack: I landed
[154.27] Jack: And then went to fly again the whole right side of the quad just didn't work at all
[159.71] Jack: and uh
[161.71] NJ: So it's the flight crystal
[164.43] Jack: Yeah, so all in all I'm not having much luck
[168.11] Jack: I think it's because I sniggered, uh tom greer because like his big quad didn't work either
[173.07] Jack: And I think i'm paying instant karma. So greer if you're listening
[181.23] Jack: So anyway tonight, um, I
[183.63] Jack: We've got i've got a segment first segment ever. I'll tell you about that later. But uh tonight's theme is um,
[191.47] Jack: uk
[193.79] Jack: Reviewers, so these guys handle
[196.83] Jack: Andy rc painters 360 and nj tech all handle the latest tech and kind of know what's cool
[203.39] Jack: I'm still flying a kiss board or kiss eses and i've only just taken co-remoteers off my quads because i'm a philistine
[211.15] Jack: And uh tony's got three more hardware than these guys have tested. But yeah, what's new guys?
[217.63] NJ: Well, i'm just going to quickly say you see all these things like many fashions come full circle
[224.11] NJ: There's you thinking you're a philistine for mentioning cobra motors and they are very much the rage at the minute
[229.39] NJ: um, so cobra are very much, uh back on form their uh, their race series motors are
[235.53] NJ: superb tested a
[237.79] NJ: Fair few different motors recently and those are standing out to be excellent power and talk
[242.67] NJ: So yeah, look you're back in fashion without having to do anything jack. Oh my god, ryan. I know
[247.87] Tony: You've got a liquor lens though. Um, we've got um striker saying lens liquor. Come on jack
[253.87] Jack: Mate, that is so funny. Your little tongue like a little animal like
[260.03] Jack: So funny, uh, please put that link
[265.55] Jack: I shouldn't have because i'm on this really good. I might have to close that
[269.79] Jack: Uh, put the link to that video stop trying to stream all the youtube videos at the same time
[281.55] Jack: Andy i'll see i'm painless you guys were at western. How did you find it?
[286.43] Andy: Yeah, I loved it. Obviously you saw I got extremely sunburnt and
[291.71] Andy: You were you were there to spray me with some suntan cream, which no
[297.31] Andy: With some white liquid so it was it was a strange experience, uh meeting someone like that for the first time but
[304.91] Andy: I I really didn't need it
[307.95] Andy: and uh, so yeah
[310.51] Jack: I uh, i was just merely marking my territory. No, i'm really fond of you. Please put the sunglasses on because he looks like the
[319.23] Andy: Views, please. Please have some so when I when I uh turned up at western park, I had these
[324.91] Andy: Sunglasses on and I was accused of looking like someone from the band muse, which i'm fine with. I love me
[331.79] Andy: I didn't have a problem with that that then the names i've been called in the past
[339.94] Jack: Painless introduced me
[343.54] Jack: We must say a big thank you to mrs. Painous for letting him have an hour of the evening
[349.22] Lee: It's like short notice. Um, yeah, I've really enjoyed it. It's the first time i've ever been and
[354.98] Lee: Had a fantastic time. It was lovely because most of the crowd were there
[359.46] Lee: So it was a great chance to kind of meet everybody and say hello
[362.5] Lee: It's amazing how much change is in this hobby and yet how much stays the same
[366.82] Lee: Um, but no, it was nice to see you too as well. Jack. Lovely to have you back in charge on the let's drone out
[373.54] Lee: So, uh, so thanks for inviting me on but for me what we're playing with at the moment is a lot of flight controller stuff
[378.9] Lee: Again, it seems to have come around
[381.22] Lee: more
[382.58] Lee: If I can talk about fixed wing for a moment more
[385.86] Lee: Kind of planes and wings than drones at the moment. Good lad
[391.3] Lee: Teximo what's on there buddy?
[393.94] Jack: It's even got holes
[396.74] Jack: for
[399.14] Jack: What an s6 waiting
[401.22] Jack: And it's got leds in the back tony. Oh, no, you've gone one up on me. No
[407.22] Jack: Got some leds for you as well. My friend. Oh, thank you
[410.82] Tony: Yeah
[416.18] Lee: So what flight control are you putting on there jack
[418.66] Jack: I have no idea. Um, if you
[421.22] Jack: Uh matthew what's his name matthew, you know the guy who like
[426.98] Jack: Hey, uh, what is his name?
[429.46] Jack: Oh, yeah. Yeah, I've seen him. Yeah, I've seen him. Is it osborne matthew osborne? Yeah something. Oh, isn't it?
[436.1] Jack: Is it yeah, I mean he's he's i've been watching his little build video and he recommends the
[442.98] Jack: the usual inaf
[445.78] Jack: Oh, man, he's got the anomaly bus f3, I believe and he's using the pix fort compatible. Um,
[453.62] Jack: uh gps
[455.78] Jack: And yeah, so i've been checking that out and you know i'm thinking about that
[460.42] Jack: you know, but um equally, uh, uh, joshua bardwell mentioned that um
[465.78] Jack: I think there's m m sp, uh conflict on
[471.06] Jack: I can't remember the actual term, but this to do with the uh
[476.26] Jack: Data being saved to the memory card so quickly and having such a high resolution of information and um
[484.66] Jack: High amount of information resolution of the
[488.74] Jack: agencies of
[490.98] Jack: Uh, you know oscillation and noise so that you could you could do more complex filtering and apparently that's cranked so high
[497.94] Jack: um when you're saving all that to uh
[499.86] Jack: The memory card you got a bit of a conflict and your quad does a weird shaky and then falls out the sky
[505.86] Jack: so I don't know and uh
[508.02] Jack: There was an omnibus and he was having um fail safe issues
[513.06] Jack: No, I don't know but i was thinking an omnibus f3 rather than f4
[518.66] Lee: I use the omnibus f3 in all the bills i've done with inav and it's worked flawlessly, but i'm not using
[525.46] Lee: Black box, so maybe that's why i'm not pumping into those problems with msp
[529.62] Lee: but uh
[531.54] Lee: I might have a spare board or two. Let me see what I can dig out for you buddy if you need one
[537.94] Jack: No worries. Um, yeah, I believe it's only f4
[542.74] Jack: No
[543.86] Jack: You do get a bit panicky when you just hear the word omnibus
[547.7] Jack: Because it's all you know, it's to me. It's all under one umbrella
[551.54] Tony: Who knows people in the chat might know why even have an fc on a wing more enjoy
[557.62] NJ: It's it's mainly for it's mainly for flight stability. It's actually been around quite a long time
[562.26] NJ: I mean the last time I put any kind of flight stabilizer on an aircraft. I had a still got it actually gathering dust in the loft is a
[570.32] NJ: strager
[571.78] NJ: Which is a p51 reno racer as an electric model that sort of gunned for about 100 mile an hour
[577.7] NJ: and uh
[578.9] NJ: The biggest problem with that was it generates so much torque. It was a nightmare to take off with um, and
[585.22] NJ: At the time the flight stability board I use was actually by a company called eagle tree
[589.62] NJ: And I think I think they're still doing things eagle tree have been around quite a long time
[594.02] NJ: But they're basically doing a similar thing. They're introducing part of the input
[599.14] NJ: Alongside your stick commands and using gyroscopes to help stabilize the wing and keep it nice and level
[605.46] NJ: So when you get incredible amount of torque rolling on takeoff, for instance
[610.5] NJ: It can automatically compensate for that and you know theoretically respond a lot quicker than you can on the stick
[615.62] NJ: So yeah, it's flight stabilization in a in a you know, just on a different aircraft
[620.42] NJ: In fact, even if you look go back to the birth of like cc3d
[625.14] NJ: If we go all the way back then the original wizard
[627.86] NJ: Uh on the handmade boards the original ones when it was came together
[631.22] NJ: You could choose your type of aircraft at the beginning of the wizard
[634.26] NJ: And of course one of those was fixed wing and as well as quadcopter and what have you so and even helicopter
[639.62] NJ: I think there was some some use for it then
[642.42] NJ: Um, so yeah, they'd been around doing it for planes. Uh, probably before the quads came along i'd say
[649.38] Jack: I'm hoping when it's only old and he gets he well and older and he gets gray
[654.58] Jack: I I hope he'd grow a beard. So he'd look more like a wizard
[660.18] NJ: Oh wizards and wizards are becoming the rage again now, I mean like race wise uh done a good job with
[665.62] NJ: With reintroducing the wizards. I think they're they're a fabulous idea help help reduce headaches for for newbies
[674.66] Jack: It's yeah, I I mean I do remember open pilot and house, you know
[681.89] Jack: uh the wizard in that and like move your
[685.57] Jack: uh
[686.93] Jack: move
[688.13] Jack: like the calibration slider and stuff like that and you know, you're calibrating each gsc individually rather than
[696.69] Jack: It's kind of I know it's a little bit of a bad habit. It's kind of nice to I wondered how long it would take
[702.05] Jack: Someone to write the word wizard sleeve
[707.65] Jack: Sorry, I've got ADHD and that just hold on chris
[712.53] NJ: And so i've got a lot of just while while we're here just um, uh quickly andy I presume that is the famous review bed
[719.25] NJ: Behind you or review surface. Is it a bed i've assumed it's a bed. Yeah. Yeah, I was talking to jack about that earlier
[727.65] Andy: Because like one of the main comments that I get
[731.01] Andy: The entire time is can you not afford a table? And I I think
[736.61] Andy: I think I can afford a table. That's not why I do it. Um, i'm
[741.09] Andy: I'm a fan of a youtuber called ashens and jack was actually telling me that he met him
[747.33] Andy: and uh
[749.01] Andy: I just loved his style. He has this like dreary
[752.21] Andy: Uh sofa and like he does all of his reviews just on this sofa and I thought
[757.09] Andy: I thought there's something really real about that. So
[760.29] NJ: Yeah, it's it's great
[761.33] NJ: But it's iconically you as well like when we see the thumbnail with that particular, you know, red spread behind it
[767.57] NJ: First I was imagined was a really plush like velvet red cushion or something
[775.73] Andy: Yeah, yeah, well this room was designed for youtube to sort of stand out actually
[781.25] Andy: uh, you know with the the crazy you used to have uh, I don't know if you remember I used to have a checkered, uh
[788.29] Andy: thing all the way across there and
[790.69] Andy: I did that just to sort of grab people's attention really and well, I don't know whether it works
[795.41] Andy: But you know people still join the channel. So yeah, that's the famous or unfamous review platform
[803.09] Andy: Behind me just stick a camera in front of it and away I go
[810.02] NJ: Yeah
[813.62] NJ: Go on jett
[815.14] NJ: I'm just going to say um, you've you've you've recently reviewed the
[819.92] NJ: Djoa spark. Yeah, I did that yesterday. I thought I saw that and there was just I just quickly wanted to mention that because I
[826.58] NJ: Just saw myself in exactly your shoes
[828.98] NJ: Which was feeling incredibly uncomfortable for even like a few moments
[833.62] NJ: At watching a drone in the sky and realizing all you have to play with is the touchscreen on that phone
[839.38] NJ: Absolutely. I mean I have no direct connection with it
[843.14] NJ: Like I see you're a little out of your comfort zone
[845.86] Andy: well, uh, the the first time I had a dji product was the
[849.92] Andy: Pantom 4 and I used my android phone with that and it just crashed constantly
[856.02] Andy: And it still does. I don't know if I need to do an update or something like that
[861.3] Andy: but
[862.74] Andy: I needed to use the iphone. I bought an iphone. I don't it's not like my daily
[868.5] Andy: Driver, but for dji stuff, it has to be the iphone because it just works and I think dji
[874.5] Andy: Design it for the iphone. I mean they're a company that
[878.34] Andy: Um sort of takes inspiration from apple anyway, so I guess that makes sense
[883.46] Andy: But you're right even with an apple device. I flew it away for like it must I think it was saying 30 meters
[890.5] Andy: and all of a sudden
[892.18] Andy: everything froze up on the phone and
[895.06] Andy: I don't have no control
[898.5] Andy: And then i'm just and then i'm just thinking well that could just disappear any anywhere now luckily it came back and uh
[904.82] Andy: Dji are much better at stuff like that these days. They tend not to fly away so much
[911.06] Andy: Uh, I certainly not had that with them. So yeah, they're quite scary some of those videos
[915.06] NJ: I've got some really old dji stuff. Um, you know, even their early nasa stuff and and I've
[920.58] NJ: Never had the fly away issue. But of course, there's always going to be well, there are you know videos of people's gear just
[927.38] NJ: Up and uh outing to different
[929.94] NJ: It's kind of with their own agenda, uh to head off somewhere else
[932.74] NJ: So i'm always a little bit cautious of stuff like that and not having real control over
[938.1] NJ: A proper safe
[939.78] Jack: I've never had a fly away. No
[942.5] Tony: Sorry, no no and I I found out it was my usb cable every time
[948.66] Tony: That caused the fly away
[950.98] Tony: No, that if the if everything crashed or
[955.22] Tony: Disconnected it was always my usb cable or bad usb connection
[960.82] Tony: And I also sorry, I love that
[963.62] Jack: I don't know why it's it's been my usb cable what your usb cable caused to fly away
[971.94] Tony: Ever had a fly away, but any anything whatever went wrong disconnection or anything like that
[976.66] Tony: Always ended up being my usb cable
[979.06] NJ: Just move it about a bit and then it haven't you got a million lying around by the rest of us that you can just
[984.18] Tony: Yeah, there's always a good one what works, you know better than any any of the others. So
[990.18] Tony: That's that's all I found out and I and I used I use a um
[994.98] Andy: A tesco's tablet, you know that 99 pound tablet works brutal. I thought you were talking about like paracetamol then when you said tablet
[1005.78] Jack: Immediately
[1008.9] Jack: Tony doesn't do
[1010.98] Jack: Do prescription drugs. Um
[1013.46] Jack: Should we go to our first new segment?
[1016.02] Jack: Um, yeah, it's my new segment and i've only just come up with it
[1021.14] Jack: It is called
[1022.9] Jack: It's tony
[1025.14] Tony: What don't put me on the spot here
[1027.94] Tony: What?
[1029.3] Jack: All right, so you guys get to ask tony
[1033.3] Jack: A timer
[1034.98] Jack: You can ask him anything, you know, uh ask him to talk about if the earth's flat if um,
[1041.14] Jack: Alavine's been switched
[1044.1] Jack: Um, he's thoughts on him into mind control
[1049.22] Jack: anything
[1051.7] Andy: Any questions all great subjects
[1054.02] Andy: I mean, you know, I think you mentioned that the first one that intrigued me the most was the um, the flat earth theory
[1061.14] Andy: Are we start are we started already? Sorry. Yeah, yeah
[1064.82] Andy: Go
[1067.14] Andy: Um
[1068.26] Andy: like
[1069.22] Andy: Where where did that sort of idea come from from yourself did just start off thinking?
[1075.3] Andy: The world is round and then slowly thought it you know, it was no longer around her
[1080.18] Jack: What was the sort of thought too much youtube too late nights and too much wine?
[1087.38] Tony: Just answered for me. I don't need to answer anymore
[1091.3] Tony: That's exactly right
[1092.98] Andy: but sort of
[1094.9] Andy: As as someone who flies though that that's I find that interesting for me because I've flown around
[1100.98] Andy: All the world and I would have expected at some point to see the edge of it, but I never did so
[1106.98] Andy: uh
[1107.94] Andy: I think as as you fly yourself as well. What is the
[1112.5] Andy: What is the answer to that that you know with you being a pilot? How can you?
[1118.42] Andy: Sort of still think that theory is valid
[1121.7] Tony: Oh my god. I'm actually looking at my window and there's like a something sitting in the sky
[1127.22] Tony: I'm actually gonna record this
[1143.22] Jack: Black thing
[1148.66] Jack: I've got
[1153.54] Andy: I experience this all the time on my channel, uh in a few cases, you know, some of the cheap quadcopters that have
[1161.22] Andy: poor cameras on them and when you put something there when you point them at the sun the
[1166.82] Andy: Sun it sort of goes black like a black dot the amount of times
[1171.06] Andy: I've had people say what's going on with the sun clearly the answer is just well the
[1176.42] Andy: Exposure of the sun it can't cope with it. What people tell me that there's a
[1180.8] Andy: UFO in the sky and also, um before I
[1185.46] Andy: started my youtube channel
[1189.7] Andy: Before I started my youtube channel, uh, like specifically for drones and stuff I did a about a
[1196.8] Andy: 30-second shot of the moon and the amount of grief I got in the comments just for
[1202.66] Andy: Posting a picture of the moon telling me, you know, is it time saying it was made of cheese?
[1207.06] Andy: Yes, things like that just or or the oh it's here
[1210.82] Tony: There is honestly a black dot hovering and not doing anything and I can't tell
[1216.9] Jack: Oh my god
[1218.26] Jack: Is it round? He's like a cow with a laser pen
[1225.14] Tony: Is it round though is it round or flat I can't tell it's just there's just a black solid dot jet black
[1232.02] Tony: above the sun where the sun's gone down and it is not moving when you move your eyes does the dot
[1239.22] Jack: when you move your head
[1245.7] Jack: I love the comment i've just got by text it's getting bigger minutes might have been too ambitious
[1259.14] Jack: They said don't name me but
[1262.26] Jack: It's on your window you knobber your job
[1275.94] Andy: I wanted to ask about this mind-bending things or not mind-bending mind reading but I don't
[1282.66] Tony: No
[1288.42] Andy: But technically it's reading people's minds is it no it's
[1292.58] Andy: Manipulating people. Oh, well, don't we all do that though? Don't we?
[1298.9] Jack: Yeah
[1302.42] Jack: I'd love to know what your have you got any questions for tony at all?
[1308.9] Lee: Um, surely I just wondered how the chicken was
[1311.7] Tony: Yeah
[1319.22] Jack: Yeah, richard richard smart might like that
[1322.74] Tony: Um richard's gonna get paid back for that jack
[1326.1] Lee: Is it worthwhile just explaining for those of the audience who don't know about tony's cock the the story?
[1334.1] Jack: That is a line I never thought
[1337.46] Jack: No, sorry deadpan welcome to the youtube channel painless 360 we're here to talk about tony's cock
[1344.82] Jack: All you yeah, it quite cute
[1350.58] Andy: I thought it looked smashing. I did. I thought it was a great one
[1355.38] Jack: The phone is a bit ruffled. Yeah, okay. It's moving. That chicken was for sucking not eating by the way
[1363.14] Jack: Um, anyway, uh, should we talk about some drawing stuff? Um, yes, there is something I want to I'm gonna quickly
[1371.14] NJ: Also, i'm still waiting for my review sample of the run cam split. Um, painless
[1377.14] NJ: Have you got yours yet? Did you did you have a look at it? And what did you think and andy?
[1381.7] NJ: Have you got one on the way? I've got one on the way
[1384.9] NJ: Okay, it's a whole new feed. Oh, we're back. We're back. Excellent. Sorry folks
[1389.86] Tony: Certainly use the ufo who passed over us sent some communication issues
[1394.5] Tony: I've been abducted for about three seconds and i'm back go on mate
[1397.86] NJ: I was just gonna say just to pick up because there's some really great stuff that everyone missed before we uh
[1402.9] NJ: Before we got taken out by aliens. Um
[1406.42] NJ: uh painless you were saying about your thoughts about the um
[1410.1] NJ: Run cam split and you think in terms of how it may have been a little bit rushed. Can you just
[1415.38] NJ: elaborate on that for us quickly
[1418.1] Lee: Yeah, i'm not sure where we lost the stream. Um, so just to recap latency is very low
[1422.5] Lee: It's kind of low 50s. It actually works really well. The camera is beautiful. The record the way it records is really good
[1428.98] Lee: Um, there's a couple of little things about it like the wi-fi board having to be plugged into the side
[1434.74] Lee: A wacky 90 degree angle that's never going to fit inside. Anybody's drone
[1438.98] Lee: Does make it feel like it's kind of a version 1.0 of the product now. Normally we'll run cam stuff
[1445.22] Lee: um, i'm always really impressed that it feels so polished because run cam seem at the moment to
[1451.06] Lee: Almost want to make sure they have a camera for everybody
[1454.1] Lee: And in fact, you know that i've got a couple more here that we're about to to have another look at they're revising their current ones
[1460.02] Lee: But the split as it stands is great. I think if you want to do the split with the wi-fi stuff
[1465.06] Lee: I think we need to wait for version 1.1 to see if they have a slightly better way of how to integrate that
[1470.34] Lee: But to be honest, I don't think you need the wi-fi stuff
[1472.98] Lee: The way i've been using it is just stick it inside the quad on top of the flight controller stack before you fly
[1479.22] Lee: Hit the button to start the recording and and at the end of it, you know, kind of pop your sd card out
[1485.54] Lee: That's the only other thing about it as well. The sd card the way they um, they've connected it
[1491.62] Lee: Is normally with these kind of action camera thingies. They tend to have those spring-loaded micro sd card
[1498.74] Lee: Slots, so, you know if it has a really good spring if you catch it with your fingernail
[1502.58] Lee: It kind of flings it into the grass over your shoulder
[1506.1] Lee: They've opted not to do it on this one
[1508.1] Lee: The the sd card holders that kind that has a little kind of latch that you have to pull up to 90 degrees
[1514.1] Lee: Um put the card in then push it over the top of the sd card and slide it in
[1518.34] Lee: So it's like the kind that you used to find in the back of some
[1521.46] Lee: Old mobile phones again, that's really really safe. It does. It means that that card is never going to get ejected in a crash
[1528.58] Lee: But if it's in the guts in the middle of a quadcopter, right?
[1531.62] Lee: You're not going to be able to get in to swap the sd card
[1533.94] Lee: So once that sd card is in you've installed it you've pretty much got to wave that sd card. Goodbye
[1539.22] Lee: And use the usb connection for downloading your videos. Yeah, it sounds like as you say
[1544.42] NJ: it's it's
[1545.7] NJ: 1.1 will be the way to go at this this kind of expects you to accommodate for more vertical space
[1551.94] NJ: Than you would traditionally have in the kind of quads we're putting them in and albeit that most frame designs are only getting more
[1558.66] NJ: Small small more compact as the more all-in-ones like the bait flight border around, you know
[1563.46] NJ: These these stacks are getting smaller and smaller and the split sounds like it needs some vertical space to
[1569.46] NJ: To plug things in and lift latches up and what have you so as you say
[1573.3] NJ: Maybe the 1.1 version will be the the real killer, but it must be great
[1578.26] NJ: uh
[1579.3] NJ: Certainly in terms of suddenly being able to use it lose a good
[1582.82] NJ: 80 to 100 grams of weight off the top of your quad, so there must be some nice benefit from that
[1588.34] Lee: It is and the the actual image itself, you know that the run cam wide dynamic range is very good
[1593.06] Lee: You know
[1593.46] Lee: It's we're introduced gosh, what nine ten months ago and all the current cameras have it
[1598.82] Lee: Um, and this one has it too. So even when you're flying in really nice
[1603.22] Lee: Bright conditions you're not losing any of that detail in the shadow and it's not blowing the sky out either
[1608.66] Lee: So it it performs really well
[1610.98] Lee: I you know, i'm i'm like you i'm you know, the quad in fact
[1613.86] Lee: I've got one in front of me right now that i'm currently building, uh, which is a two
[1618.5] Lee: um
[1619.38] Lee: Stack flight controller and power distribution board osd
[1623.46] Lee: Um in this quad, I wouldn't have any room with this. It's a seriously pro
[1628.34] Lee: It's the the f4 neo with the the companion osd power distribution board i'm using for this one
[1634.42] Lee: Um, but i've i've run out of room if I wanted it to put inside here
[1637.86] Lee: I couldn't i'd have to go with it with this kind of frame. It's one of those
[1641.22] Lee: Um, is it the gp 7x5 or whatever it is?
[1644.9] Lee: It's that that i've used a couple of them before
[1647.62] Lee: But um, if i was going to try and put it in this frame
[1649.86] Lee: I'd have to use something like the beta flight board, which is great
[1653.7] Lee: But you know the beta flight board isn't all things to all men
[1657.38] Lee: So it's you know, it's um, it's a compromise. I guess it's like anything at the moment, isn't it?
[1662.74] NJ: Absolutely. Yeah, I couldn't I couldn't agree more
[1665.38] Tony: I thought you guys galang has put um a gopro lens on the front of his run cam and got rid of the um props in view
[1674.18] NJ: So the gopro is actually the gopro lens is narrower than the original lens. Is that what you're saying?
[1680.82] Tony: That's what i've seen on his feed and some stuff that he's put on
[1686.98] Tony: Facebook and stuff. He's put a gopro lens on and got rid of the
[1691.62] Tony: Got rid of the props and the bit of the quote that he could see with the original lens
[1696.9] NJ: That's interesting because I thought if if
[1699.62] NJ: The the the kind of gopro the gopro lens is sitting around a 2.1
[1703.7] NJ: I thought so does that mean that the split field of view is even wider than that look like a 1.8
[1709.46] NJ: Do you know payments the answer to that off the top of my head
[1711.94] Lee: I'd have to kind of dig out the specs and have a look at the website
[1714.98] Lee: but a lot of the although the split at the moment, um, i'm not sure if it comes with
[1721.54] Lee: Changeable I think as i've looked at so many cameras over the past three or four weeks
[1725.06] Lee: They're kind of blurring into one at the moment
[1727.3] Lee: But a lot of the the run cam ones in particular you can buy different lenses with different fields of view
[1733.62] Lee: So if you want to have a slightly thinner
[1736.66] Lee: More narrow field of view to kind of miss your props if you're going to use it
[1739.86] Lee: Then you can let me while we're talking. Um, let me just move myself while i'm doing lots of typing
[1745.3] Lee: Let me just see if I can find the detail and i'll uh, if I can find it quickly i'll talk about it
[1750.26] Jack: great
[1753.14] Jack: After you go on that's that new board with the um, um vibration, uh isolated
[1760.1] Jack: It's um, I am you oh the holly bro board
[1767.63] Andy: Yeah kakute
[1769.63] Lee: Yeah
[1770.99] Lee: Great pronunciation andy that is awesome. That smells better than i'm gonna ring you in future and ask how you pronounce these
[1776.75] Andy: Don't do that because every single video I post i'm saying something wrong. Everyone tells me i'm saying beta flight wrong
[1783.55] Andy: And it should be beta flight
[1788.11] Tony: It's beta
[1789.95] Andy: I say bt. Yeah, north you live. Yeah. Yeah, I say beta
[1794.59] Tony: Like the revo turns into the revo
[1798.03] Tony: The further north you go
[1800.11] Andy: Yeah
[1805.87] Andy: Well with that flight controller, I was told it's a japanese flight controller
[1810.03] Andy: I don't know if that's true and I was pronouncing it completely wrong. But anyways
[1815.07] Jack: So tell them
[1820.03] Tony: Davey says there's an option on the run cam site to opt for the 2.5 millimeter or the gopro lens for the split
[1827.31] Lee: Yeah, both field of view
[1829.37] Lee: 165 degrees so it's pretty wide actually i imagine on most quads you're going to clip the edge of the props
[1837.39] NJ: I quite like I quite like the props in view personally. Yeah, that's all right
[1846.11] Lee: But but but if you go to the website you can see that
[1848.51] Lee: That slightly wacky wi-fi board stuck down the side
[1853.39] NJ: And yeah, I saw that that's 90 degrees
[1856.67] Tony: Yeah, just to plug it in and do settings on the fly and then go and fly it all
[1861.47] Lee: Well, it is because it doesn't lock in place
[1863.71] Lee: So, um, if if you did try and do that and then had a crash you'd never find it again
[1867.63] Lee: So it's almost like a temporary thing. But but for me
[1871.31] Lee: It's almost redundant. It has an on-screen display anyway
[1875.07] Lee: um
[1876.03] Lee: and there's talk well, there's a couple of pull requests for things like beta flight to try and put some of the
[1881.63] Lee: Settings so you can actually control run cam cameras directly from the osd
[1886.35] Lee: Uh in beta flight, which would be and who knows how quickly that would arrive
[1890.27] Lee: But it just for me. I just forget the wi-fi just stick it on, you know
[1893.63] Lee: Put an sd card in there and you know pretend you're never going to see the sd card again
[1897.87] Lee: And then find a place to stick it inside your quad and then you can get rid of a of the
[1903.07] Lee: Immobius or your gopro or whatever and save all that weight if you're if you're a weight free
[1908.51] Andy: Where does it take the power from lee? So like i'm just concerned here with you know
[1914.91] Andy: powering up a
[1916.35] Andy: Sort of hd module a camera. I mean usually you'd plug your camera these days directly into the flight controller wouldn't you but
[1924.51] Andy: Um, you know, how does the sort of hd part of it plug into your power system?
[1930.75] Lee: Great question. So the way it works is you know that little three pin cable that plugs into the back of the standard run cam
[1936.51] Lee: or like a fat shot, you know that with the ground plus five volts and and the
[1941.47] Lee: The signal if all you do is you unplug that little cable from the back of your existing camera
[1946.03] Lee: That's in your quad and stick that camera into the only connector that's on the board itself and that five volts powers everything
[1954.11] Lee: So all you have to do is make sure that that five volt supply
[1958.27] Lee: um can handle the current because the the whole system itself runs about
[1963.93] Lee: 650 660 milliamps
[1966.11] Lee: Yeah, so if you're running a really lightweight video transmitter that can only supply 500 milliamps for a for a little camera
[1974.03] Lee: Um, it won't hack it but i've been using it here with the elites from hobby king and the immersion rc
[1980.99] Lee: old transmitters and the tramp
[1983.71] Lee: And they they run it fine. They've got enough current on the five volt output to to be happy
[1988.99] Andy: I'm just thinking some of these all-in-one flight controllers now you you plug the camera
[1994.83] Andy: Directly into the flight controller. So for the five volt there you could potentially have a problem, couldn't you?
[2002.03] NJ: The beta flight one the the five volt reg on that is rated up to about I think it's nearly three amps or something
[2008.75] NJ: It's quite well beefed up
[2010.27] NJ: Um, but it's certainly something you should you're absolutely right
[2012.91] NJ: It's meant to be cautious of because i'm sure there are some other boards out there might be an older
[2017.87] NJ: Board that you like but maybe doesn't actually carry that kind of current
[2021.31] NJ: Uh punch so yes, definitely worth thinking about
[2024.75] Lee: It's not it's not a problem if you've got I mean things like the brain
[2028.75] Lee: Re1, you know that's f4 flight controller. They've just revved their bits and pieces
[2033.47] Lee: I think it's about 1.25 amps on the five volt out from that
[2036.83] Lee: But if you haven't got enough five volts in the system already one of those little you know those little thumbnail size matrix
[2043.23] Lee: Um, they're bloody brilliant
[2045.71] Lee: And you know
[2046.19] Lee: You can just stick one by the side of everything else just have it run the five volts and just let that do it
[2050.91] Lee: I've got them in loads of little craft just to make sure that i've got a lovely clean supply for what everyone's trying to run
[2057.23] NJ: Yeah, they work perfectly for sure. So, um
[2061.39] NJ: Andy I was going to say well, how are you finding this uh, this whole micro drone thing because I've I've
[2067.63] NJ: Got my first sort of proper micro brushless
[2072.67] NJ: It's the lizard and I did a couple of videos on that
[2075.71] NJ: And i'm just utterly stunned how I mean i've really threw some quite hard acro at it
[2080.99] NJ: like I was flying one of my five inch and it was
[2083.95] NJ: The power to rate ratio on these things is is if anything better
[2088.43] NJ: On something like 3s
[2090.43] NJ: than uh 4s on on a five inch so it was actually incredibly capable and I think that the
[2098.11] NJ: I think that's that's whole side of things is now going to really start booming
[2101.95] NJ: And but obviously i've not come through your through your channel. So I mean, how are you finding it?
[2106.51] Andy: I mean that there's so many of them that like
[2110.11] Andy: This week if the spark hadn't turned up this week
[2113.71] Andy: I'd have been able to do a seven straight days of these micros because there's so many i've got one here actually
[2120.11] Andy: this one's called the
[2122.59] Andy: awesome
[2123.87] Andy: I think they've got all sorts of different names. This one's called the uh
[2128.27] Andy: awesome 95
[2130.59] Andy: and uh
[2131.71] Andy: The the biggest problem with them really is you I think you've got one of the best ones there with the lizard because um
[2138.43] Andy: you know, that's one of the reasons why I wanted to talk about the
[2142.35] Andy: uh
[2143.55] Andy: Powering the the run can system because a problem that a lot of these micros have got
[2149.23] Andy: Is making sure that there's enough current to go to all of the components and um
[2155.15] Andy: I'm seeing a lot of models turn up with like a a jst connector and a two-cell battery
[2161.31] Andy: But then we're powering an all-in-one esc board. We're powering
[2165.15] Andy: um
[2166.67] Andy: A like pico flight controller. They've stuck LEDs on there. We've got a buzzer
[2171.31] Andy: We've got a telemetry receiver all going through
[2174.11] Andy: You know a little jst wire and one of the main complaints and one of the main issues
[2180.11] Andy: The ic is you'll take off and you'll
[2183.87] Andy: Brown the system out whether it be the esc is not getting enough current whether the flight controller resets
[2190.91] Andy: or you just uh fail safe with the receiver you've got
[2194.91] Andy: and another one as well as um
[2197.47] Andy: if they don't have an on-screen display sometimes the
[2200.91] Andy: camera vtx
[2202.51] Andy: Uh, it can't draw enough current and also the camera cuts out on full throttle. Um, so
[2208.59] Andy: Um, there's a lot of there's a lot of things that needs improving
[2212.67] Andy: Um, the best thing to do is build your own sticker xt 60 connect. Sorry
[2219.15] Andy: xt 30 my only problem I have with the xt 30
[2223.23] Andy: Is I found out the hard way that they quite easily go in the wrong way
[2227.95] Andy: Um, which I mean
[2231.79] Andy: If if if you like just take one obviously isn't connected to anything and just twist it around
[2236.59] Andy: I think the tolerances of the plastic because it's smaller they will go in the wrong way
[2241.71] Andy: but I think it's got to be the way to go because we're asking
[2245.71] Andy: so much current from these models and uh,
[2249.31] Andy: Um, it's it's not working
[2251.47] NJ: Well those jst's are literally like little thin blades. So it's entirely possible. That's uh, that's a
[2257.71] NJ: Literally a bottleneck to the system. Yeah
[2260.19] NJ: More an oversight by the manufacturers. I would think than anything. But yeah, the xt 30 is a
[2264.99] Andy: A pretty uh, pretty good lightweight solution. Well, the way that it works is these sorry jack. Come on
[2271.55] Jack: the um
[2272.83] Jack: That's gonna totally do tony, you know with the old like square peg in around
[2277.47] Jack: I'm talking, you know, I got in one of those for christmas
[2287.39] Andy: Yeah, so I think I think uh testing the lizard that's one of the best ones because that's got
[2292.51] Andy: A xt 30 on there and also if you stick a high c battery, that's important for these micros
[2299.39] Andy: High c batteries so that you know, nothing browns out or the community calls it flip of death
[2305.47] Andy: Um, because a lot of the time there are tf so people aren't building them
[2309.71] Andy: But obviously when you build a model yourself, I've built a few micros myself when you see it
[2315.55] Andy: Do a flip on its own in the sky, you know that
[2318.59] Andy: Something's not getting enough power either if it's the flight controller or the escs and
[2324.67] NJ: That'll definitely fall into line with my experience as well the batteries that i've
[2328.59] NJ: I've used the one that came with it. I've got some
[2331.95] NJ: Some 60c batteries coming along and that I totally agree a good strong battery that will hold its voltage will be a real
[2339.47] NJ: Performance booster. I mean it's already great and being so light
[2343.47] NJ: Obviously means, you know low inertia
[2345.71] NJ: Not only does it is incredibly crash resilient because it's not carrying any inertia
[2349.79] NJ: But also that when when you are punching the throttle on these things, it's not got an enormous amount of mass to
[2356.67] NJ: um to
[2358.19] NJ: To really cause a problem. Yeah, exactly
[2360.59] NJ: So it's great for that
[2361.63] NJ: But I think that's the only thing that i'm looking forward to seeing a sort of tangible difference is is putting a 60c battery on it
[2368.91] NJ: Um, but yes, but super interesting times that these uh, these are really becoming a thing now and rightly so performance is great
[2375.87] Andy: This is actually why recently I built the uh, pyro drone hyperlight floss. I think it's called
[2382.43] Andy: A youtuber named fpv kabab
[2385.55] Andy: Um, he designs these really lightweight frames
[2389.39] Andy: Uh for five inch
[2391.07] Andy: so
[2392.03] Andy: I think you're on to something there when you said that
[2394.91] Andy: You know these micros because they don't weigh anything you can crash them at full pout pretty much and nothing really breaks
[2401.39] Andy: Sometimes the props don't even break and I think that that's the way that five inch
[2406.91] Andy: Is probably hurting as well because batteries aren't getting any lighter
[2409.79] Andy: But our components are getting lighter that the the motors are getting lighter
[2414.67] Andy: The we're having these all-in-one systems now where it's just one or two boards. That's got your vtx in there even sometimes a receiver and
[2423.31] Andy: Everything all in one. So those things are getting really light and uh, I think
[2427.47] Andy: That's the way that it's going. And yeah, it's pretty exciting to see where it's going to go next
[2431.47] Tony: Really not really good for racing though, especially when you're doing up and over on gates you do up and over on a gate
[2436.75] Tony: And you need to get down quick
[2439.47] Andy: I don't like it. Yeah
[2442.11] Andy: Again, it's all down to um people specifics what they like
[2446.75] Andy: Well the characteristics they like from from when you fly it see i've got a an alien here
[2452.11] Andy: Which is quite a heavy quad in comparison. So the aliens like 600 grams
[2457.63] Andy: uh, and then this floss one is 410 grams and
[2463.95] Andy: I I was preferring it
[2465.31] Andy: I thought it would scare the hell out of me because of the power to rate and power to weight and everything like that
[2471.47] Andy: but actually
[2473.15] Andy: It's uh, it corners nice and I was really surprised because I was skeptical about that for racing as well
[2479.15] Andy: But one thing I will say is that I don't do much racing myself
[2482.75] Andy: And I found that I didn't need a lot of the power most of the time because I just like fly freestyle
[2489.47] Andy: so, um, I know a lot of uh people are going to these floss frames specifically just for racing but it is it is um
[2498.27] Andy: It's very specific to your style. I think
[2502.35] Jack: Just
[2504.35] Jack: Sorry
[2505.31] Jack: On my back my back and back. Yes, you're right. Yeah. No, all right
[2509.31] Jack: Um, yeah, we come up to like the hour mark and i'm aware that painless needs to nip off
[2514.59] Jack: So you talk about those multi boards. There's no real redundancy if you break something
[2520.19] Jack: There's not gonna be another component which leads me to the whole
[2524.03] Jack: GMAC gasp fbd painless
[2527.39] Jack: Uh new peaks halt video series. How's that coming along?
[2532.19] Lee: Really good. Actually, um, I have a my whole entire dining room table is covered
[2538.19] Lee: With a very large plane at the moment with half of the build on it
[2541.31] Lee: So the next video is going to be up tomorrow and then will very quickly be going on to the next two or three
[2547.55] Lee: So if you want to kind of see them before they come out
[2550.11] Lee: Then they'll be available in the playlist
[2552.99] Lee: uh, we're going to stick it on the
[2555.79] Lee: Talon plane and then I was actually doing uh some training for the commercial
[2560.67] Lee: Pilots license at the beginning of the week with uh some guys who have some very big toys
[2565.63] Lee: They're using the pix hawk 2.1 in a couple of big planes
[2568.83] Lee: So what we might do as part of the series is actually go in a field and actually go through the whole thing from
[2573.71] Lee: doing the mission planning uploading it to the pix hawk and then flying a mission and downloading the logs do the whole thing as like a
[2580.59] Lee: practical experience
[2582.27] Lee: And the other thing that's coming after that as well in august i've received my vector
[2588.35] Lee: A couple of subscribers. Well more than a couple actually a couple of dozen have been asking me to look at the vector
[2593.87] Lee: And the guys at vector have been brilliant and sent me one
[2596.83] Lee: To have a look at so we'll be putting a vector in a fixed wing in august
[2601.23] Lee: So if there's anything anyone wants to see in that series, let me know and i'll try and cover it as part of that too
[2606.83] NJ: fabulous
[2607.95] Lee: still there any other questions that we need to
[2612.27] Lee: Thanks. Thanks dig me down. I love the playlist too
[2616.03] Jack: I know
[2618.03] Jack: Sorry, i'm just i'm just checking uh anything else. I
[2621.71] Jack: No, I can't think no. I haven't got any questions
[2624.59] Andy: You're gonna talk about I think jack when you mentioned about the problem of redundancy with these all-in-one
[2631.31] Jack: Yeah
[2633.71] Andy: Yeah, how do you get around that you see I was worried about that at first but me personally
[2639.47] Andy: I haven't had a single one of these all-in-one escs fail so far
[2645.15] Andy: That was something I was really concerned about but I think that
[2649.15] Andy: I think eventually everyone will switch to them because I found them really reliable
[2653.31] Andy: I've not had one burn up or anything like that
[2656.27] Andy: And they are lighter and cheaper than adding four escs
[2660.51] Andy: So like I said, I was really skeptical at first but until one breaks on me
[2664.99] Andy: When one breaks i'll probably change my mind and and say they're absolutely terrible. But um, yeah, i'm liking it at the moment
[2671.95] Andy: I think you know if you built a brushed micro quadcopter
[2677.39] Andy: The effects are built into the
[2680.43] Andy: Into the flight controller. So, you know, we're kind of getting towards that now
[2685.15] Andy: I think where we're just having one or two boards and yeah if if like say the vtx fails
[2691.39] Andy: So I think I reviewed the um, the the fly pro tower. I think it's cool
[2696.11] Andy: And that's got its vtx built into it
[2698.35] Andy: So if you burn a vtx the entire thing's gone really isn't it unless you and that's quite an easy thing to do
[2703.79] Andy: Oh, yeah. Yeah, because it's just got a little connector a little are they called flf connectors? It just pings off
[2711.05] Andy: Ufl or something like that. Yeah, yeah
[2714.35] Jack: ufo ufl
[2718.35] Jack: I just got
[2720.27] Jack: Ex from my mum. She thinks right tomorrow. There's shrewsbury prison ghost hunt
[2727.55] Jack: It starts at 9 p.m to 3 30 a.m
[2732.99] Jack: I think we're going to go to shrewsbury
[2735.63] Tony: I think we should do that
[2738.75] Tony: I thought we weren't telling anyone about this
[2741.55] Andy: Just do you do both believe in ghosts then is that what it is?
[2745.39] Tony: We're doing a um a little mini
[2748.59] Tony: Something
[2754.35] Tony: Have you right night fright night right basically gonna cry on camera and put on jack
[2763.63] Jack: I was inspired by um
[2766.67] Jack: The mini air show where saggy nun was really drunk and they were filming on their mobile phone with a torch
[2773.87] Jack: And you just see a flash
[2776.35] Jack: Of saggy nun really drink drunk and he was making all like uh noises
[2781.47] Jack: And if you were to mute that drunk happy noise
[2784.11] Jack: If you were to mute that and put some sinister music over it
[2787.87] Jack: It would have been like it was like something to play a witch because I watched it muted
[2795.71] Tony: Actually gonna cry on camera and like be hugging you and like hanging off your nipple and stuff
[2801.15] Jack: Yeah, if it gets too much i'm out of there
[2804.11] Jack: I might believe in ghosts andy rc. I'm sorry. You might
[2808.59] Jack: scared of moths and
[2811.95] NJ: I kind of believe in ghosts. It doesn't matter jack because it doesn't matter because they believe in you
[2817.95] Jack: Yeah, that's it
[2820.35] Jack: You know, look we've all got a little bit of tin foil tony in us tony. Where's your camera? Let's have a look at the balloon
[2826.99] Tony: It's um gone over
[2829.95] Tony: Look
[2832.11] Tony: What the hell
[2839.55] Andy: I think someone tried to abduct him and they couldn't lift him up. It's a kinky stuff
[2845.31] Tony: Just stabbed in the back. That's all
[2848.27] Lee: Can I ask you a quick question looking in the comments there's been a couple about
[2852.49] Lee: RTk now I might it might be because it's very late
[2856.19] Lee: But what the hell is rtk because i'm trying to answer this question. I don't turn to kitchen
[2861.63] Jack: Is it like, you know when you're hungry and you're running out of power
[2870.67] Tony: You do smell kitchen with a cage, didn't you I need to return to
[2876.03] NJ: I don't know rtk is it return to keyboard like afk is away from keyboard. Hold on. I'm not in touch
[2882.19] Lee: I'm going with return to kitchen. I think that's inspired
[2885.71] Lee: It's not a thing. We should make it a thing. It is now i'm gonna i'm gonna talk now. We'll get a mode made
[2891.87] Jack: I see
[2893.31] Jack: No
[2894.75] Jack: I don't like someone answer in chat
[2898.27] Jack: Someone google it
[2900.19] Jack: real time zero
[2902.75] Andy: real time something
[2904.51] Jack: I don't know i'm trying to offers, uh rtk solution
[2909.17] Andy: I think they're trolling us hiding. That's what it is. They've done it. It means nothing
[2919.65] Jack: Like I would absolutely cry if you did like, you know get info and like dump
[2925.81] Jack: precision
[2926.85] Jack: precision gps
[2928.45] Lee: Like it's real time kill mode. Okay, right. Okay. Yes, we will in that case. The answer is yes
[2933.57] Lee: We will be covering rtk
[2935.17] Lee: It's uh the way that you can use multiple gps systems to give you almost centimeter accuracy with a gps
[2941.89] Lee: So we will be looking at that. I won't be using it
[2944.29] Lee: But i'll be talking to the professionals who do and covering it about the series
[2948.29] Lee: Thank you everyone for staying with it and it obviously is very late because I haven't got that far in the series yet
[2953.49] Lee: But we will look at I am planning to look at that
[2956.45] Jack: um also on
[2958.61] Jack: um
[2959.57] Jack: What is it? Uh, I can't remember something
[2963.65] Jack: You should uh things you should know or something on youtube. Hang on i'll look for the video
[2968.29] Jack: but I
[2969.97] Jack: say that um
[2971.73] Jack: the reason why
[2974.05] Jack: Uh gps is free, which is quite cool. I will I will google it quickly
[2979.89] Jack: Um and all that we uh, we call it
[2983.17] Jack: You know, uh, some people don't like it, but you know, i'm quite fond of it. Uh, why?
[2988.61] Jack: is
[2991.41] Jack: Free it was really cool. I just found it really interesting. I can't find it
[2995.81] Tony: They use both gps's american and russian, don't they?
[3000.77] Jack: It's russian as well
[3003.01] Tony: Yeah, they use both
[3004.93] Tony: Is it glow glow nos and
[3007.81] Tony: The american I don't know. I know they use both lots of satellites
[3013.09] Jack: Good drips here
[3015.73] Jack: Everyone and in chat yell man. You guys should come on
[3021.57] Jack: You got team bow for you
[3024.13] Jack: You might have team hanging out. I hope you guys are
[3028.87] Jack: having uh having a good time
[3031.91] Jack: Because the world's not flat there's not much tech involved. Oh my god
[3040.63] Jack: They're always ripping you man
[3043.11] Andy: oh
[3044.71] Andy: I I read that uh in some parts of the world they have to
[3048.47] Andy: correct for gps because the
[3051.51] Andy: The sort of land is moving very slowly
[3054.47] Andy: Because it's flat because it's moving very slowly around the sphere
[3059.03] Andy: and uh, they have to
[3061.35] Andy: Change that and there's some um some places that gps doesn't work so well because the roads have moved and things like that
[3069.91] Andy: Roads have moved. Yeah. Well the land's moved. I think it's it's something like yeah
[3074.55] Tony: Because we're moving at a thousand mile an hour if you can believe that. Yeah. Well, that's that's why we
[3080.31] Tony: Takes off and hovers the it just it can stay there
[3087.91] Tony: And then we're in new york
[3090.87] Andy: I think there should be a second podcast just called flat earth and
[3095.75] Andy: And we just discuss it
[3099.59] Jack: Uh, I think I think this is it control copy
[3105.11] Jack: Link in the chat
[3107.35] Jack: Yeah, why the u.s military made gps for free
[3112.23] Tony: Cool
[3115.43] Andy: No, that's the whole point
[3117.19] Andy: I think i'm not smart
[3119.43] Andy: I kind of feel like i'm missing something here. What's all this licking lanes business?
[3124.31] Andy: It's lens liquor
[3126.63] Andy: Is it something that can be found on youtube?
[3131.03] Jack: It it's uh, it's when your lens gets dirty
[3134.31] Jack: Yes, and then you're you know, like lawnmower because your props
[3140.55] Jack: Cuddle the grass into your lens
[3143.03] Tony: I wish you had a crash
[3145.51] Tony: Basically lick do you lick your lens or not or do you just wipe it with your t-shirt? I wipe it with my t-shirt
[3151.99] Tony: See quite a lot of people lick lenses first and then wipe it the t-shirt
[3156.71] Andy: I get told off though because apparently a t-shirt will scratch the lens
[3161.11] Andy: So i'm always getting a bit told off for that
[3163.59] Tony: It could do
[3164.95] Tony: But we're all lenses because here
[3167.99] Andy: You're all lens lickers
[3170.95] Andy: That's a good advert. We're all lens lickers here
[3173.35] Andy: Yeah
[3174.15] Lee: But then to be fair smashing into a wall at 35 miles an hour tends to make a bit of a mess of the lens as well
[3179.35] Lee: So, you know, like let's keep things in perspective
[3182.95] Tony: I think it's still licking. We're on that weird bus
[3186.31] Tony: that lens liquor bus
[3189.19] NJ: I think these rumors are all started by the people that sit there punishing their quads obviously
[3197.99] NJ: No, not not guilty of that at all
[3200.95] NJ: Says the guy here. Drew
[3205.99] NJ: You polish your quads
[3208.07] NJ: No, I don't polish my quads
[3209.35] NJ: But I did I did go to the nth degree on one of my latest builds where I did I decided to paint the capacitor
[3216.07] NJ: It's
[3218.71] Lee: I am loving all the comments at the moment everyone exchanging their best way to lick the lens
[3223.99] Lee: This is this is this is interactivity at the highest level. This is awesome
[3228.15] Tony: We tried to get it trending last week, but it didn't happen. Maybe this week. We can get it going
[3232.71] Lee: So should we all be posting them? What what's the hashtag then for this week?
[3239.59] Lee: Right hashtag lens liquor awesome, everyone needs to do that then
[3243.19] Lee: Let's see what we can get that
[3245.19] Jack: I know
[3246.71] Jack: Steel's got like, uh fbv life or we're
[3250.47] Jack: Let's try to help got lens liquor
[3253.83] Jack: Great. I just love that
[3255.99] Tony: We're in that sunshine fbv bus
[3260.87] SPEAKER_05: Tony that's not politically correct
[3265.35] Lee: Oh, this is why we have andrew i'm literally cheating now bear with me
[3270.71] Tony: Oh

[3288.29] Tony: He did yeah
[3289.57] Tony: Check out green patches. So jealous. It's a lovely shirt

[3296.85] Tony: All I can say is gary
[3298.93] Tony: i360
[3302.45] Jack: What why doesn't um
[3305.25] Jack: Yeah, it's anyone seen uh gavin's soldering iron from western
[3312.21] Jack: Yeah, it's getting a bit people started nicking things from events and it's not cool
[3316.85] Tony: Oh, no, it's it's so not
[3319.89] Jack: Man is he honestly wrote what she lets drones out hashtag lens
[3328.37] Jack: Oh
[3332.53] Jack: I did message true to be like yo
[3335.33] Andy: I don't know. I think they're probably traveling around though, aren't they? So
[3339.81] Andy: Might be difficult to do that sort of thing
[3342.69] Jack: Yeah
[3343.97] Jack: No worries. Um
[3346.05] Jack: Right. So yeah, should we leave it there guys?
[3349.17] NJ: Yeah
[3350.85] NJ: Awesome. Great. Thank you both very much for uh jumping on for a chat, uh painless and andy's good to have you andy

[3369.81] Tony: Uh, let's get going. I like that's me here. Yes
[3373.97] Jack: Thanks. Yeah, I want to come back it's cool. Yeah, you know part of me was hoping you would uh
[3381.41] Jack: Be running out of time who's running out of time. It's a muse lyric, isn't it?
[3386.29] Andy: Oh, right. Yeah, no time is running out
[3390.29] Andy: Oh, that's it. Damn it. I'm ruining everything
[3396.85] Andy: I was like, I think that's a muse reference somewhere. Yeah, that's oh I knew you got on that line
[3401.81] NJ: I'll just put the glasses back on
[3406.45] Tony: That's
[3416.69] Lee: Yeah
[3425.17] Jack: Tony's having an effect on me. I was eating chicken nuggets and I couldn't eat him anymore. Sorry
[3430.77] Jack: good
[3432.93] Jack: I think it's happening
[3434.93] Lee: Tony you have realized though that it's obviously his first it's first time and is a little bit rusty because we haven't had any talk
[3441.97] Lee: About men's private parts and he also hasn't talked about unicorns. Maybe next week
[3452.05] Jack: Yeah, that's that's for the next 10 minutes of tony but tony was distracted by a balloon
[3458.69] Tony: It was unidentified until I realized what it was
[3463.65] NJ: We should say as well just quickly guys a quick hello obviously for all our regulars, but also the rc addict is uh
[3470.85] NJ: Just joining the chat to say hi
[3472.93] NJ: another
[3473.89] NJ: Awesome youtuber and quite insane line of sight pilot. I think that's a bit of a dying up with cod doctors
[3480.29] NJ: But um, yeah, he's a very very good line of sight pilot. So
[3484.21] NJ: Hey, seph. How you doing?
[3487.28] NJ: And uh, yeah, I think that's probably us about there
[3490.64] NJ: Yeah, wouldn't you say jack?
[3492.64] Jack: All right, cool. Thank you and good night
[3495.28] Jack: Welcome back. Bye, son. See you guys
[3497.28] Andy: Thanks
[3500.0] Andy: Bye
[3502.88] UNKNOWN: Jack is it worthwhile just explaining for those of the audience who don't know about tony's cock?
