[0.69] Jack: Let's drone out
[6.41] Jack: Hello, welcome to another fantastic episode
[9.73] Jack: Let's show it now because Andy RC and Jay and Frank here
[16.65] Jack: Tonight's job is sponsored by Dunkin Donuts
[21.41] Tony: We are joined by Frank
[34.65] Frank: Think he said Frank Frank. I didn't hear anything. Hello
[41.61] Jack: Andy RC. Hello
[45.09] Jack: And Jay tech good evening
[49.01] Jack: Him showing all his stuff boss which made Tony. It's just some of it. It's just some of it
[55.21] Jack: Hello, Tony. Well, you're
[57.77] Jack: Now there's a difference because NJ isn't single but Tony is can you tell?
[66.11] Andy: It's like a glass cabinet, is it rather than a wall?
[74.15] Andy: Yeah
[76.15] Andy: It's it's pretty cool. I like it. It's like an exhibit. I like that
[81.55] Andy: Yeah, man
[82.87] Andy: Hold me don't encourage him. Have you got them ordered in your favorite one?
[88.07] Tony: No, they're they're like non flyers anymore. There's one from the Argos shoot that I've done which
[94.91] Tony: I'm never gonna fly again. It's
[97.31] Andy: As in there the company that the catalog company Argos. Yeah, I flew
[103.07] Tony: Done an advert last year for them, but just before Christmas
[107.11] Andy: like a video advert
[109.47] Tony: Yeah, yeah, it was a
[112.31] Tony: Yeah, it was on it was on tell you they aired it 15 times of 16
[117.59] Andy: How did I not see that? What were you flying? What chord was it? It was the fossil stuff 280
[123.83] Tony: And they were selling it through Argos. No, no, no, it was a promotion
[130.15] Tony: We had to fly like past TVs and round TVs and stuff
[135.55] Tony: Yeah, it was pretty quite
[137.51] Tony: Loads of people saying always CGI CGI and then I put my YouTube video up of the DVR of it and
[145.43] Tony: You can I'll send you a link later. Yeah, I need to go
[149.23] Andy: I don't have a TV. So I don't get to see
[158.03] Jack: The link to the video in the chat, yeah
[166.31] Andy: I
[168.31] Andy: Did I did see this yeah, but I saw it through another video not on TV. Yeah, it looks CGI
[174.79] Andy: It's fake. It's like the curvature of the earth
[179.03] Tony: Don't start me on that Andy
[183.03] Tony: Look
[186.39] Tony: I sent in
[188.07] Tony: I sent in so much evidence that he was actually we had dinner today and he was saying I think I might might believe you now
[201.99] Jack: I did see a video Jeremy Clarkson and NASA have made their own weather machine. Has anyone ever seen that?
[209.03] Andy: No
[211.03] Jack: Yeah, so
[212.39] Jack: Yeah, Tony like going on at me being like, you know, they can control the weather didn't you and I'm like shut up you idiot
[219.31] Jack: Yeah, yeah, apparently they can there's something, you know
[222.11] Jack: So bit by bit as technology moves further Tony wears away at me
[227.07] Andy: I think they do I think they do it don't they turn into buy or something like they can make clouds to make it rain
[233.79] Andy: You know, I'm fine with that that I see that's plausible
[239.11] Tony: Well, as soon as they fire a rocket like in florida
[246.87] Tony: Oh, that's our hacking him I was gonna say give me away the secrets
[257.27] Tony: Learn something they fire the rocket and because the rocket
[261.27] Tony: Produces so much heat they spray tons and tons of water on the rocket
[265.03] Tony: That's what all that stuff is and all of the most of the stuff what comes off the rocket when they fire out is steam
[271.83] Tony: It's not rocket fuel. I never knew rockets were staying powered. It is steam and
[279.55] Tony: Honestly
[281.99] Tony: Look listen, this is like King real, you know, I'm not even joking
[287.63] Jack: I
[290.91] Tony: When a rocket fires
[292.59] Tony: They've put tons and tons of water on and all most of that you see when it goes up is steam
[298.51] Tony: And then later on in the day in Florida, it rains because of the steam because they create their own
[305.23] Tony: Clouds, it's a it's just that's just a fact
[308.67] Tony: If you don't know that
[310.67] Tony: But they don't have chemicals in them like chemtrails. No, not they're they're from out of planes
[316.83] Tony: I can talk to you about that later if you want
[323.71] Tony: But it's a true thing if you don't believe me research it yourself you even nasa will tell you
[329.79] Tony: That they pump gallons and gallons of water over
[333.15] Andy: Well, I thought nasa lied about everything
[335.87] Tony: Well, they do say they do lie quite not
[339.23] Tony: Whoever that are you drinking water and not wine or beer or just on the water
[345.23] Andy: So that I can concentrate make sure that you know, i'm not missing any of the facts and things, you know
[351.71] Tony: You don't know you can private message me and i'll just tell you all about it
[355.95] Andy: I know I know
[358.59] Jack: I'm going on the isopropanol. I don't know about you guys
[363.31] Andy: That's strong stuff. Yeah
[366.19] Andy: Sniff it
[368.43] Andy: I used to use that to clean that
[373.71] Jack: Why am I listening to you?
[375.71] Jack: How do we tend with him?
[377.87] Tony: He loved it
[380.19] Andy: Are we allowed to ask about I've seen some pictures with david and you guys
[386.03] Jack: Yeah, yeah by all means what would you like to know?
[389.63] Andy: Well, uh, just you know, what what did you guys get up to what's the story?
[392.83] Andy: Oh, I also wanted to ask as well. Did it did anyone go to hobby king live?
[396.35] Jack: Was it cancelled because of the weather and things I went when I would just like to say all my friends other than
[403.39] Jack: No, you're going in there
[406.19] Jack: Andy i'll see um, you are
[408.99] Jack: all incompetent
[410.99] Jack: um
[413.55] Andy: I didn't quite catch that anyone else. I think it was a little curse word. So I wouldn't worry team. Oh, is that it?
[420.35] Andy: So I think what i'm going for that
[423.13] Andy: incompetent thoughts
[426.09] NJ: See because of the glitch there I got impotent falls
[431.93] Jack: Don't think I don't think um, yeah incompetent falls
[437.29] Frank: Carlos said he went to hobby king live and it was uh, not great. Oh, really?
[442.09] Andy: Just because of the weather and it was just raining here
[444.89] Tony: Um, he said I went to hobby king live and I put non not great to mike dreads
[451.93] Tony: How was the indian?
[453.93] Frank: Yeah, but I wasn't going to read out what carl is actually said about it. So
[457.37] Frank: Oh, okay
[459.77] Tony: Is this in the comments? Yeah, i've just seen it now. Yeah. Sorry. I see carlos's comment now
[466.89] Jack: Yeah, um in the chat. Yeah, it wasn't
[471.29] Jack: It it it was better it was better than last year
[474.73] Tony: My god, so last year was really penciling
[477.93] Jack: Are horrendous. It was so bad
[480.97] Frank: I thought it was all right
[482.57] Jack: Really? He thought it was all right
[485.05] NJ: Yeah, because one of the fingers complained last year just to sort of from an organizational standpoint that things were
[491.37] Jack: Were a little bit. It's always like that
[494.49] Jack: They just don't like they leave it to the last minute. Honestly, like if we got rid of frank
[500.89] Jack: Um, it would and back to the old organization have let's throw now
[505.61] Jack: worse than that
[507.37] Jack: really
[509.37] Jack: Yeah
[510.49] Jack: Yeah, it's it's pretty it's almost on fire
[514.25] Tony: I'm actually glad I didn't go now after carlos saying it was super disappear. No
[519.21] Jack: Is if you were a punter because they were selling um
[525.69] Jack: So
[526.81] Jack: You could buy fat shark
[529.05] Jack: Returned fat shark goggles for as little as two pounds
[532.57] Jack: So people were snapping up some unbelievable bargains
[536.33] Jack: You could buy more than one of the same
[539.11] Jack: Transmitter put them together and make a working transmitter if you wanted to
[543.93] Tony: Can you adjust your bandwidth?
[546.33] Jack: Uh for a fiver
[548.89] Jack: Jack
[550.17] Jack: It was it was crazy. Uh, for instance, um gary not or or gavin
[557.45] Jack: It's getting very real name gary
[560.49] Jack: He bought two 3d printers for 30 pounds. That's pretty good
[565.61] Jack: Yeah, it was there was basically, um, it was amazing if you brought cash and
[572.17] Jack: You were in for some absolute bargains
[575.21] Frank: Well carlos said that the uh, the stuff that was for sale was pretty much all broken
[581.69] Tony: Poor good jack. Can you adjust your bandwidth? Can you lower it a bit?
[586.73] Tony: I don't know how just go up to the top of the screen and press that signal button and just make it lower
[593.69] Tony: Down a bit
[594.97] Tony: less, uh
[596.01] Tony: Less hd which is always better and your voice will come across
[602.17] Andy: So how did you guys end up meeting with david? He was over here for something
[606.33] Andy: I'm just interested because I think probably a lot of people
[609.61] Andy: including myself sort of got inspired by the early flight test days of where david was there and
[618.25] Andy: So I know you guys are friends
[620.41] Andy: from the podcast
[621.93] Tony: It's more jack jack answer
[625.13] Jack: Well, um b came to see me
[628.49] Jack: To pick some stuff up
[630.57] Jack: um
[632.81] Jack: Rocket knife he um, really?
[635.77] Jack: Yeah, he basically grabbed some like laptop stuff and he ordered because it was cheaper
[643.53] Jack: to order stuff to the uk
[646.09] Jack: In sweden and it's cheaper to get
[649.13] Jack: Yeah
[650.49] Jack: Picked it up than the overall shipping. That's crazy
[655.13] Jack: Instead of shipping something directly to sweden. It's easy. It's cheaper to not only ship it to the uk
[660.49] Tony: A plane over here. Wow, that's just that's madness
[664.97] Jack: He's madness, isn't it? So he he also said things like
[668.97] Jack: um the bus to the from where he lives to the
[673.53] Jack: airport is like
[675.61] Jack: 100 that's the
[677.61] Jack: swedish currency that flights less than that so
[681.21] Andy: Did you guys uh get to do any flying together or is it just sort of meet up and?
[686.65] Andy: And go
[687.85] Jack: Just just to meet up really. Uh, we dragged him around. I was showing off my friends
[693.45] Jack: and
[694.57] Jack: I poorly arranged a meet in london very badly, which we were two hours two hours late for
[701.21] Jack: Which annoyed him?
[703.29] Jack: Because it's me. He's like never late for anything. So like
[707.37] Jack: and
[708.41] Jack: Yeah, but I think and he made his day with whatever he printed for him
[714.89] Jack: Or frank frank, I don't know
[718.57] Andy: The same thing we're not allowed to talk about
[721.53] Jack: I can't tell you any of the stuff because it will ruin the surprise of what he's going to do with the rocket sled
[726.73] Andy: No, that's fine. I love what he's doing with the rocket sled. I think it's great
[731.69] Tony: No, you you I think we should all do a christmas song called rocket nine
[738.33] Jack: Um
[739.13] Jack: What and ruin a charity like bankrupt them?
[742.89] Jack: Destroy them
[744.17] Andy: Does he still got to do any flying or has anything to do with flight tests or anything or it's pretty much his own thing now
[750.65] Jack: Yeah, his own thing people a lot of people are like complaining
[753.93] Jack: Being like stop doing the rocket knife do some more RC stuff. It feels weird like talking on behalf of him
[760.01] Jack: I'm on soon. Once he's like recovered from being over here
[766.25] Tony: Been around jack for too long
[770.01] Jack: Enough to any fate worse than that is being so delicate to knoll edmunds
[776.89] Tony: That would be quite bad
[779.37] Jack: Yeah without a beard guard either. Um
[783.53] Tony: Talking of bees you just got rid of yours you had you had one in tribute to david's
[789.05] Jack: Bad boy one didn't you? Yeah. Well, I was worried. He weren't gonna meet me. It like
[794.39] Jack: Recognized me because like when I first met him I had a beard so I thought i'll leave the beard on
[800.33] Jack: So and then after it it was like growing into my mouth like there so I got home shaved it
[808.01] Jack: Yeah
[810.01] Jack: Yeah got game
[812.25] Jack: Having a meet with david. We just still in the middle of work day so we can get there
[816.09] Jack: I know i'm sorry. He came down on a weekday
[819.69] Jack: I did the best at least I told people about it
[824.81] Jack: Now rather than keeping him to myself. We tried to get it
[829.53] Frank: People could at least kind of maybe come along at
[832.81] Frank: On a reasonable time during the work day, but
[836.33] Frank: Reasonably, they're cool, but
[838.17] Frank: That didn't happen
[839.61] Frank: It was hard man. It was hard
[842.49] Frank: Because he was only there for what I mean literally
[847.21] Frank: Got off his plane went to yours
[850.65] Frank: Slept went to
[852.65] Frank: uh
[854.01] Frank: What was it?
[854.89] Frank: Autistic module center or something?
[856.89] Jack: Yeah
[858.09] Frank: then
[859.37] Frank: up to london
[860.73] Frank: and then
[861.69] Frank: disappearing again
[863.69] Jack: Oh
[865.53] Jack: Seek and like call us that kind of told people
[870.01] Tony: All right, didn't carlos get to meet him. I think he did
[873.69] Jack: Yeah, I don't know
[877.77] Jack: Now we're getting to get so on here no
[880.25] Jack: It keeps lining up with his live streams. So if you notice 15 hours ago, he did a live stream
[885.85] Jack: Don't know. I need to wait till he
[889.21] Jack: Baked stream and then
[891.69] Jack: direct his live stream
[893.93] Tony: So you're really breaking up. Can you try lowering your bandwidth again or more or you know button move it left
[901.21] Tony: or
[902.65] Tony: We'll do that
[904.01] Jack: Yeah
[904.97] Tony: Is that better? I can hear you perfect. Now nj. What you got onto your left shoulder?
[911.21] Tony: um quite a lot of stuff
[913.85] Tony: Is that what you've been given and tested or is some of the
[919.13] NJ: And bits review stuff
[921.13] NJ: Some of its stuff i've had for a while and yeah, there's there's
[924.65] NJ: A whole bunch of bits i'm i'm working my way through at the minute
[928.89] NJ: To test and and review and bits i'm actually putting a whole video out
[933.85] NJ: Later this evening which talks about all the stuff i've got coming up to review and chat about a few things
[939.77] NJ: One of the things i'm actually quite excited about to try out is the new
[944.81] NJ: Tbs crossfire micro bundle
[947.61] NJ: So the small size module instead of the large thing that you operate instead of having the screen on the back like the uh, the older
[954.17] NJ: uh system that's stuck on the back this uh
[957.21] NJ: This one you operate via a luis script on your tyrannis
[961.45] NJ: and um, so people are reporting snake fpv and uh, thomas and paul
[968.25] NJ: bms web have both
[970.31] NJ: Reported great things about the latency
[973.45] NJ: um, which apparently
[975.93] NJ: To some I mean if you hear this from thomas
[978.17] NJ: It's got to mean something because the guy is just winning everything at the minute. Uh, in fact, I think two days ago
[983.13] NJ: He won the adelaide fpv cup
[985.85] NJ: Um, so another one he's just gone and snatched
[987.85] NJ: But yeah, he switched the crossfire and he's he's come straight out and and said along with snake fpv. They
[993.85] NJ: notice
[995.05] NJ: a pretty substantial jump from s bus
[998.01] NJ: Uh in terms of latency, so that's that's that's pretty epic. Um
[1002.57] NJ: To be you know that much quicker. I think it's three times quicker. I think we're going for 50 hertz 150 hertz
[1008.01] NJ: well
[1009.37] Tony: Sorry, but will us old boys?
[1012.57] NJ: Feel that well, see i'm this is what I want to know because I don't race I freestyle
[1017.37] NJ: So i'm going to it's arriving tomorrow. Uh, i'm going to fit it to my
[1022.57] NJ: Beast sx, which is this guy down here with the pink props
[1026.89] NJ: um, which I know
[1028.49] NJ: Probably the the beast is my main freestyle quad and i've I know that really really well. Um, so
[1035.53] NJ: Because that's the problem when you test out a lot of different drones
[1037.85] NJ: It starts to become a bit of a haze as to what feels what and what your preferences are
[1041.69] NJ: But I know that quad really well, so i'm going to fit it to that one
[1045.13] NJ: um, and then go out and fly it and see if I can
[1048.17] NJ: Uh notice this this difference that people seem to seem to say snake fpv
[1053.29] NJ: If you go and check out his latest youtube video, he actually did a blind test
[1057.21] NJ: um, and he
[1059.45] NJ: Just he he spotted the right one straight away and it was quite obvious because he does a lot of those blind tests
[1065.37] NJ: For various gear and it's always a bit hit and miss
[1068.33] NJ: Because the the you know, the tolerances are so small between versions of things
[1073.13] NJ: um, but yeah, i'm i'm super interested to see how this um
[1077.77] NJ: Tps system does and it's also apparently very soon. They're going to be dropping the price of the
[1084.65] NJ: So I hear i'm not saying this is fact but so I hear they're going to be dropping the price of the
[1089.93] NJ: Micro receivers which are the ones that will be fitting to our quads, which is really good news because obviously they're like at the minute
[1096.25] NJ: I think they're about 50 pounder receivers. So they're expensive. They're 50 feet squared. Yeah, it's a lot of cash
[1101.85] NJ: so apparently trappy's gonna talk to the retailers and and
[1106.01] NJ: Have that uh those drops or there's going to be bundled deals where they're a lot cheaper because
[1111.61] NJ: I mean, it's not the biggest thing in the world if you've already got it's a module
[1114.73] NJ: so as you switch model you switch module and you can do it one at a time with your quads, but
[1120.33] NJ: So far the people who've tried this
[1122.89] NJ: Have switched to it and said well, this has screwed me now because it's so good. I don't actually want to fly
[1129.53] NJ: On the standard s bus protocol anymore. I want to stay on crossfire
[1133.21] NJ: so
[1134.89] Tony: I don't know. We'll see. I mean i'm excited to try that out. Well, I got one and I put it on my wing
[1140.09] Tony: Uh, so obviously i'm not going to tell any difference
[1143.29] Tony: I I wanted it for range basically
[1146.25] Tony: Um, and it was like 113 quid
[1149.77] NJ: So it was that's the pack i've purchased
[1152.33] Tony: Yeah, it was good
[1153.13] Tony: And then I looked today because I wanted one to go on a quad and like you were saying it's like 56 quid for the
[1160.17] Tony: Just the receiver and I was like, uh, I think I might leave that
[1164.33] NJ: Yeah, I mean that's the thing really there's this
[1167.69] NJ: There is a premium on tbs stuff. There's there's no question of that
[1171.05] NJ: But it's the support's great and the stuff is usually pretty damn good
[1175.45] NJ: You know, there's a lot of tbs stuff out there for a very good reason
[1178.73] NJ: and he's uh, he's
[1181.45] NJ: He's a clever guy and uh
[1183.93] NJ: Yeah, i've got a lot of time for the tbs stuff
[1185.61] NJ: But I mean the the big things you're paying for really is that it's not only how solid that control link is
[1191.13] NJ: It's the latency and also the range. Uh, they really do especially down on that
[1196.41] NJ: lower, uh frequency where the
[1199.29] NJ: Wavelength is longer and the longer that wavelength is the easier it is to penetrate and bend round buildings and things, you know
[1206.41] NJ: the lower the
[1208.25] NJ: The range that the better it will do which is why you know things like 1.2 video
[1213.53] NJ: Are so much better
[1216.01] NJ: You know for long range stuff and penetrating objects then the shorter range 5.8
[1220.65] NJ: The quality is not quite as good, but the longer wavelength
[1223.69] NJ: Is is what matters?
[1224.97] NJ: But unfortunately, we can't use 1.3 and 1.2 in the uk and the aerials would be huge as well
[1230.41] NJ: But I digress
[1232.89] Tony: I know that's why i've set up my my wing with 5.8 and I asked like i've got nil cody's sent me a big
[1240.57] Tony: big long 5.8 helical and
[1243.37] Tony: Stuff. So yeah, i'm gonna just push the limits when we have a non-windy day
[1248.65] NJ: Yeah, it's not looking good. Is it? I've
[1251.45] NJ: One of the things i'm desperate to test as well is
[1254.25] NJ: Greg sent me from menisrc sent me the bandicoot
[1258.57] NJ: uh antenna the patch antenna for specifically for the linear stuff, so i'm really
[1264.97] Tony: Excited to try that out. They are good. I've used it on my tiny week around my house
[1270.01] Tony: Free very clear view and you can tell the difference
[1273.69] Andy: Is that using two of them tony?
[1275.69] Andy: Did you use two because I was talking to
[1278.17] Andy: Lee from painless three six and he said you get two of them set up on diversity and sort of point them at an angle because obviously
[1285.45] Andy: They're they're limited to
[1288.01] Andy: The angle he said that that works quite well
[1291.61] Tony: But you got to remember um clear view isn't really diversity
[1297.21] Tony: but
[1298.41] Tony: I used two on it and it did improve
[1301.29] Tony: Quite a lot because I was flying inside
[1303.69] Tony: I was inside my house and I was flying my tiny outside my house and I had to crystal clear video
[1308.97] Tony: That's cool
[1310.49] Tony: round the house over the roof and
[1312.89] Tony: round plants and trees and
[1315.29] Andy: This um, there's tbs stuff. Uh, is it is it 900 megahertz that it runs on? Yeah. Yeah, that's right
[1322.09] NJ: 986 I think is no hold on
[1324.07] NJ: 986 is i'm wrong in it's 9 9 or 986 or something like that
[1330.09] NJ: Yeah, that's right for the u.s
[1331.53] NJ: But we're on eight something because 900 is on my wall phones
[1335.45] Andy: Yeah, I was gonna say wouldn't that cause an issue with them?
[1338.09] Andy: I mean, I don't I've never really tampered with much long-range stuff
[1342.09] Andy: But that's what I was thinking wouldn't then that interfere when you get like lots of interference from my phone stuff
[1349.13] NJ: You're quite right. Yeah, it's 900 for the u.s. And then the rest of us it's it's 800 and something
[1354.65] Andy: Another thing I was thinking as well about this latency thing
[1358.25] Andy: Because I can never tell
[1359.85] Andy: If someone can give me a ppm receiver and an s bus and I can't tell the difference when i'm flying fpv
[1366.49] Andy: Doesn't the latency of the fpv feed sort of limit?
[1370.49] Andy: The the latency of the control anyways, so you're always going to have to wait for your video feed
[1376.09] Andy: To to get to you as well as as well as your control. So yeah, they're all down in in pretty
[1382.65] NJ: Pretty you know, we're down in it's really small targets. Yeah, but but I think the difference is videos at gigahertz
[1391.69] NJ: And we're at megahertz on the rf link
[1395.29] NJ: Um, so it's the refresh rate of the video. This is another reason why 5.8 video system
[1401.85] NJ: The picture looks so much clearer because when I first saw fpv come out, you know
[1407.13] NJ: A friend of mine had a glider this was going years back, you know
[1409.53] NJ: And it was like wow, you can see things from your your model and he put it on a glider
[1413.93] NJ: And he was using a 1.3, which was a little bit illegal
[1417.93] NJ: But um, yeah, he was he was using 1.3
[1420.89] NJ: On a glider where you could mount an enormous antenna for that 1.3
[1425.37] NJ: And it's interesting to see the 1.3 video picture next to the 5.8
[1431.61] NJ: Picture and you'll see that like he could fly literally miles away
[1436.81] NJ: And have hardly any breakup with objects in the way everything
[1440.81] NJ: Was great, but the quality of the picture
[1443.21] NJ: Was definitely lower even at close range than a 5.8 because you got that shorter wavelength
[1448.89] NJ: You've got much higher refresh rate and the bandwidth is higher. Yeah, so
[1454.41] NJ: Yes, super interesting stuff, but I presume, you know
[1458.41] NJ: How much longer before we properly before real digital becomes affordable?
[1463.45] NJ: Because it's still crazy money, isn't it?
[1465.45] NJ: No
[1467.45] NJ: Can't be too long
[1468.65] Tony: Personally, I think I don't think um
[1472.09] Tony: Like like you said earlier bsm web he's young. I think I think he he will notice the
[1479.03] Tony: S-bust the difference
[1481.93] Tony: I'm not sure I will because i'm getting on a bit and my
[1485.29] Tony: You know my eyes and hand coordination are going to be
[1489.85] Tony: Two or three times slower than his
[1492.89] Tony: Um, so i'm i'm not sure i'd notice it
[1497.05] Tony: Graphing or anything on that good
[1500.25] NJ: Sorry, davey boys just said um the full-size crossfire module specs the micro doesn't have the same power outputs. I don't think
[1508.01] NJ: Yeah, that's what I read as well. I think the micro module will do 25 milliwatts 100 milliwatts
[1515.53] NJ: Uh, the larger one will go you can actually plug an external
[1518.89] NJ: Xt60 and a like a 2s or a 3s in and boost the power up to something pretty crazy
[1525.29] Tony: I think yeah, which is nuts. You just just don't but I still read that the micro can do 40
[1531.85] Tony: Is it 40?
[1534.17] NJ: On a hundred on a hundred with that setup. Um, I imagine it can still do some the other thing was interesting is that it's got
[1542.09] NJ: A I think it's like a dynamic. There's a dynamic power, which i've heard people say don't mess with that
[1548.57] NJ: but there's there's within a certain distance it works at the super fast refresh rate and then as it senses the
[1555.77] NJ: If you get far enough away and it senses that link weakening it will switch
[1560.41] NJ: Um to allow it to like a standard more s bus like latency. Um,
[1565.45] NJ: I mean again what I don't know what you'd feel and how far away that is
[1569.85] NJ: Probably still two three kilometers before it will make that switch
[1573.37] NJ: Um
[1574.49] NJ: But yeah, it's it's super interesting technology and I think uh, I can see you've got a q
[1580.41] Tony: Q it
[1582.09] Tony: Is it q7 qx7 behind you?
[1585.13] Tony: Yeah, yeah the qx7 if you use that with the crossfire. I think you've got to do some changes
[1591.61] Tony: Uh on the crossfire and qx7. I'm not quite well
[1596.01] NJ: I know
[1596.89] NJ: From well from what I read I think I actually went through the pain in the ass that is upgrading
[1602.49] NJ: All the firmware on the tyrannis today. I did the bootloader and the main firmware up to 2.2
[1608.89] NJ: Um, and I think you need to do that for the crossfire protocols to to work properly on their latest firmware
[1615.53] NJ: so
[1616.41] NJ: That is done and ready to go on my that's ready to go now on my x9d plus
[1623.13] NJ: Um, but the qx7 i'll i'll test that as well then i'll find out
[1628.73] Tony: How much more jiggery poker you need to do baby boy says there are issues and i've read their issue. There is issues and
[1635.13] Tony: Brad has my mate, you know brothers he's ordered one, but he knows there's issues
[1639.93] Tony: But he knows there's a fix and i'm not quite sure what it is
[1644.17] Tony: But there is a fix and qx7 and
[1647.69] Tony: Um tbs know about it
[1650.33] NJ: Actually, I was asked a question today. Um
[1652.49] NJ: I don't know if maybe
[1654.09] NJ: Anyone knows that's watching but um, someone was asking about using this latest crossfire protocol and race flight
[1661.93] NJ: Whether there are issues there or whether the latest one supports it because I know there's been a
[1667.05] NJ: few people
[1668.41] NJ: Personally come to me and ask about it. And I don't know the answer yet. I haven't looked into it, but
[1673.77] NJ: Um certainly bait flight it's set up for and uh kiss it's set up for
[1678.89] NJ: with no issue
[1681.29] Tony: And mr. Frost said he he took his two uh, 250 on holiday
[1686.17] Tony: And he was running the micro rx and he managed to get 2.2 ish miles down the beach
[1692.89] Tony: Before his pants were fully brown
[1697.37] NJ: It's gonna be done well, is that an osd element like the just
[1701.85] NJ: Hands in the corner. Let's slowly change colors your batteries, please
[1705.37] NJ: Pants come up and then you know, you've got to turn around that's got to be done. Someone please write that for
[1711.93] Tony: The osd that would be amazing pants fill up and you know when it gets to the top you better turn around there
[1717.85] NJ: Actually, there's a great video. I saw recently. It's in my history. I see if I can find it someone has done
[1724.09] NJ: With a crossfire setup has done on a an alien five inch with a 1300 milliamp battery
[1730.17] NJ: Did 3.6 miles in a straight line flying very gently and efficiently
[1736.01] NJ: 3.6 miles out and back
[1738.33] NJ: um
[1739.29] NJ: Which is kind of nuts
[1741.37] NJ: Really?
[1742.09] NJ: 7.2 mile round trip. Um and got back and landed at like, you know, I think
[1747.93] NJ: Really absolute. I mean like the battery wouldn't be very happy at the end of that but
[1752.41] NJ: That's kind of mad. I wouldn't risk that myself
[1755.37] NJ: But yeah, interesting great test balls
[1759.85] NJ: Yes
[1761.85] Tony: I'm so looking forward to my wing. I just hope I'm going to go out saturday morning. I'm going to get up early
[1767.61] Tony: and test my tbs crossfire because
[1771.13] Tony: um, i'm hoping
[1772.89] Tony: I i'm just going to fly 10 minutes out or until my video gets bad and then i'm 10 minutes back. Um
[1780.33] Tony: weather permitting because I
[1782.57] Tony: Tried last saturday and I failed and if anyone saw my video my motor mount broke
[1789.45] Tony: In the wind it was so windy
[1791.53] Andy: It was horrible. So was that hurricane a lien that you were
[1796.01] Tony: Stuck it was the aftermath. I think it wasn't
[1799.77] Tony: Too bad when I took off, but I just wasn't getting it. I was nearly full throttle
[1804.57] Tony: I was going against the wind because obviously
[1807.77] Frank: I
[1809.77] Frank: 10 minutes out
[1812.65] Tony: Yeah, I was flying against the wind so I knew like um
[1816.89] Tony: It was it was good to go against the wind because you if you're going to do long long distance go against wind and then you
[1821.93] Tony: Get pushed back
[1823.45] Tony: And save a bit of your battery
[1824.73] Tony: But I was like at one point I was at full throttle and I was just looking at this fence on the ground
[1829.69] Tony: And it wasn't moving and I was just right i'm turning around i'm coming home. This is pointless
[1834.41] Tony: I was only three four minutes into the flight and as I turned around the wind
[1839.13] Tony: pushed started pushing me and my motor mount broke and
[1843.21] Tony: I just plummeted to the ground and went on a very very very long walk of shame
[1848.73] Andy: I think long long range is uh, it's a real it's a completely different challenge and I sort of stay away from it because
[1856.81] Andy: I don't like walking so
[1860.17] Tony: But uh enjoy it
[1861.77] Tony: I really enjoy the challenge and then you know when you get out that far and you're like it's like you're committed
[1868.49] Tony: Yeah, and it's it's nerve wracking and you think i've got a gopro on there i've got my
[1873.77] Tony: Wing is you know, it's a couple of hundred quid flying along and i've got no gps
[1877.93] Tony: No returns at home and it's just a buzz when you get out that far and come back when when you start losing signal
[1885.13] Andy: Do you do you take the wing higher? Yeah, i've done before yeah, it seems why you need to do that
[1891.93] Andy: It seems to clear up the picture
[1894.89] Andy: Is that maybe because the earth curves round?
[1898.17] Andy: And you have to go higher up see what you did there, man
[1907.21] Andy: I was a bit I was confused why you had to gain height when you got further away
[1912.41] Tony: It might be my antenna's pointing like that. Yeah, it could be that
[1918.25] Tony: Good one there. I got
[1921.85] Tony: Reeled into that one
[1924.01] Andy: It was I would not I was genuinely interested because they call it the uh, they call it the fresnel zone or something which is
[1931.37] Andy: You have to gain height and so i've not really done any long-range stuff. I have I have some friends though who have
[1939.05] Andy: Some dji stuff and the range that those things can do it's unbelievable. And that's like that's using 2.4
[1947.05] Andy: Absolutely amazing. I mean, I think you can put a limit on a
[1950.97] Andy: We've got a bit of land around here that's uh
[1954.09] Andy: You know thousands of meters long and i've got a friend who's way more daring than me and takes his mavic out
[1960.57] Andy: to thousands of meters and
[1963.35] Andy: Absolutely incredible range on dji
[1966.97] Andy: So I think that's the only thing like I could do long ranges with my dji stuff
[1972.09] NJ: My early f450 which is basically by the time i'd built it up
[1976.17] NJ: It was it was the the the guts of what is now a phantom anyway in terms of the gps and all the other stuff
[1982.09] NJ: I did do one
[1983.29] NJ: uh one
[1984.73] NJ: Flight like that where I think I managed about three and a half kilometers out
[1989.53] NJ: Um, I was quite high on a hill nice clean line of sight big 13 dbi patch antenna
[1995.21] NJ: Yeah
[1996.49] NJ: but the bit that was that
[1998.97] NJ: Stopped me being nervous that gave me that comfort
[2001.53] NJ: Um was the gps just knowing if anything went wrong
[2005.29] NJ: This is going to turn around and fly back
[2007.29] NJ: Yeah, um
[2009.61] NJ: Although, you know, there's so many out there now. We often see the odd one that will turn around and fly wherever it likes
[2015.45] Tony: Um, but uh this one just did come back. I always think that's um pilot area
[2021.13] Tony: I've never ever any of my phantom stuff or any of my
[2026.33] NJ: Never never had problems with it neither have I but
[2029.77] NJ: There does seem to be some I mean if you look at some of the flyaways
[2033.53] NJ: Some of them are just so bizarre like what the quad does and real like glitching out stuff. It doesn't look like it could be
[2042.09] NJ: pilot induced
[2043.85] Tony: Um, there's like whenever I get to a new spot, I always compass calibrate
[2049.29] Tony: Like if i've driven 30 miles always do a compass calibration
[2053.77] Tony: And do it fly out and never
[2057.61] Jack: Never had any problem. Why do you need to calibrate a compass for a nick points?
[2068.81] Tony: Dji told me to it's just gonna hit that membrane, you know and because
[2075.77] Tony: Because metal things are around like i've done it at the beach the other day. There's this like big metal structure and it wouldn't it wouldn't
[2082.89] Jack: left by the avians
[2085.13] Jack: No, it was it was just like metal watching you why don't they probe your asshole tony?
[2092.25] Jack: Availians probes your assholes. It's just me that wants to do that. It's you you dirty
[2098.41] NJ: Long-haired geek it was so clean up until then as well and it was just you just changed the rating of the whole video
[2104.97] Jack: I just
[2105.85] Jack: I only i'm allowed to say arsehole that's pg-13
[2111.45] Jack: I'm gonna leave that in
[2113.69] Tony: That is just what he does not me editor glitch all of this with a long
[2120.49] Jack: turning long hair
[2124.09] Jack: Just merely voicing my desires
[2132.33] Tony: Back i'm gonna I I quit
[2139.93] Tony: You broke tony finally
[2142.49] Jack: Yes, I know I thought it was gonna be me I was gonna be like yep the earth's flat
[2148.09] Tony: Come on, you know it is
[2150.01] Jack: No, it's not like in 10 years time. You're all be sitting there. Okay sample that and show it to people either
[2157.29] Jack: But I know you're like
[2159.05] Jack: Looking forward ahead a little bit
[2161.77] Jack: 2018 summer's model show confirmed as june 9th and 10th
[2167.05] Jack: Uh frank. Yes
[2169.85] Jack: No
[2170.89] Jack: Who's doing it then?
[2172.57] Frank: Greer is broken
[2174.25] Frank: Greg will no greer will not be running it. Um
[2178.09] Frank: I'm gonna tell it
[2179.45] Frank: We don't know if it's gonna be ed or who it's gonna be but i'm sure
[2182.81] Frank: So there isn't a confirmed fpv flight line at the moment, but i'm sure
[2187.05] Frank: by june
[2188.41] Tony: We've got a few months yet something will be sorted out. There will be we're after sorting out between us
[2193.45] Tony: I'm sure it can be done. It's not a hard job. What's what's jack holding up?
[2199.05] Tony: Dirty northern
[2202.89] Andy: Oh, that's uh, that's what comes up I think when he receives a message of me
[2212.17] Tony: I'm glad you're glitching out tonight. Jack to be honest. All I heard then was sausage. Yeah, so did I
[2219.53] Tony: I think that's probably all we need to hear. Yeah, that's all we need to hear. Otherwise this poor editor's gonna be like beep beep
[2226.09] Andy: Does it show?
[2228.09] Tony: Does it go edited? I didn't know that it does when it goes on soundcloud on you
[2233.29] Tony: stay as it is, but
[2235.45] Tony: we just
[2236.81] Tony: We put our stuff on soundcloud and on um, i-tunes it needs to be
[2242.89] Tony: It needs to be on itune
[2245.21] Frank: 30 then it doesn't work
[2247.13] Tony: So yeah, you can listen to um
[2249.21] Tony: You can go back a year and a half and listen to our first episode if you really want
[2255.29] Andy: Oh, that's cool
[2258.01] Andy: I've started getting lots of warnings on youtube for I don't know if anyone else is finding this for non-advertisers
[2266.81] Andy: Yeah, no, no, but just any video now it seems to become non-advertiser friendly and I don't know why I don't know
[2273.93] NJ: What does that even mean?
[2275.77] NJ: I think you look too emo. Is that what it is to be emo? Is that a crime?
[2281.93] Andy: It's a crime
[2284.49] NJ: It's a state, isn't it?
[2286.73] Jack: I don't know.
[2289.45] NJ: But you know, I was pitching out again. How terribly sad editing himself. I think
[2295.77] NJ: Right in the middle of his nj insult
[2297.77] NJ: Brilliant, isn't it?
[2299.77] Tony: It's like perfect. It's like it's like the illuminati you're actually controlling
[2306.73] Tony: Should we go there? No, that's not tonight
[2309.93] NJ: Andy what what's um, what's new with you? Have you got anything exciting in the in the pipe?
[2316.09] Andy: No, well the last week's been a bit of a crazy week. There's been so many
[2320.97] Andy: Uh products released that i've received mostly micro copters
[2326.81] Andy: I seem to get a lot of those because like my channel started off with the little indoor
[2331.51] Andy: Micros and sort of manipulating them and stuff. I've received there's just so many of those going about at the moment
[2337.05] Andy: I think just because you know people are worried about
[2340.71] Andy: Regulations whether they're breaking them or not because there's so many different ones
[2344.73] Andy: So I think the thinking is if you get a little tiny brushless micro that can sort of emulate what a five inch model can do
[2353.21] Andy: Then you know that I think that's quite popular
[2356.01] Andy: So i've just finished reviewing my last one of those and then there's a whole load of new products coming out
[2363.69] Andy: Next week as well, but i'm i'm actually I don't have a lot i've got the run cam swift
[2370.15] Andy: Micro 2 to check out. I also just checked out their
[2374.89] Andy: Sparrow micro and that's a 16 by 9 micro camera just incredible also there's um, I think what we're going to see
[2383.77] Andy: Soon is the little run cams with micros with a vtx piggybacked onto the back of it i'm seeing
[2391.61] Andy: Quite a lot of that now. So
[2393.61] Andy: That's awesome. I think that's going to come into the micro world and I think that'll probably do away with
[2400.01] Andy: CMOS cameras in the micro class good riddance
[2404.41] Andy: Yeah, yeah, I know I I am reviewed a model that it was a micro it got the
[2409.93] Andy: micro
[2410.97] Andy: Swift 2 on it and it was just
[2413.45] Andy: So noticeable when I was flying that compared to these all-in-one tiny 25 milliwatt cameras. So
[2421.37] Andy: Yeah, I found it difficult going back to those little tiny box cameras after that. So
[2426.73] Andy: That was that was interesting. I think we're going to see a lot more of that
[2430.01] Andy: I think um, holy bro. I've got a new five inch coming out of use or it's already out
[2435.45] Andy: Is it called the the copris or something like that?
[2438.81] Andy: Sorry
[2440.09] Andy: Yeah, so
[2441.61] Andy: I think i've got i'm gonna be checking that one out too
[2444.73] Andy: I didn't get to check out the gt2 though. Have you?
[2447.93] NJ: I have um, well, I did quite a lot of reviews on the old gt2, which is somewhere
[2453.61] NJ: Actually the one kind of against that black bag there. That's the new gt2
[2458.57] NJ: n
[2459.61] NJ: so yeah, i'm
[2463.29] NJ: That's exactly what it is. Um
[2465.85] NJ: yeah, i've i've
[2469.05] NJ: I've set it all up and i've had a quick fly of it and
[2473.21] NJ: I mean, I won't give away too much without
[2477.37] NJ: Spending some time on the deeper review of the quad, but I will say this it's actually
[2481.85] NJ: A fair bit heavier than the first one
[2484.49] NJ: And then it's mainly because they've added so much stuff like the vibration motor dampening system, which is very clever and
[2491.85] NJ: Uh quite a nice addition
[2493.37] NJ: But the problem is you add that then they've added the esc protectors, which are aluminium
[2498.89] NJ: They've made the battery plate bigger, which is aluminium. They've kept the five mil thick
[2504.01] NJ: Carbon base plate. Um, they haven't changed the shape of that. So there's just a lot of material there
[2509.77] NJ: And I think once I fitted that with a gopro
[2513.85] NJ: A cheap small tpu mount to adjust the angle and a 1350 battery it came in at about
[2520.55] NJ: 640 grams. Yeah, that's pretty heavy
[2523.61] NJ: Porky, um considering the old the old one was I think
[2527.53] NJ: Maybe 40 50 grams 60 grams lighter than that with it the way it was
[2531.93] NJ: So I mean another chunk of the weight in that is that it has some pretty serious motors on it
[2537.37] NJ: Um, but it did fly fly really nicely
[2540.65] Andy: I think you either have you have two traces now because we have the option to have really lightweight
[2546.79] Andy: quadcopters like under 300 grams
[2549.93] Andy: But I I found that
[2551.93] Andy: Those if you like stick a gopro on them and make them a little bit heavier because they usually got thinner arms and
[2558.41] Andy: thinner carbon they break
[2560.57] Andy: As soon as you put a gopro on they're fine
[2562.33] Andy: If you don't put a gopro on this sort of if you crash them
[2565.85] Andy: The the fact that they're a bit lighter usually means that they don't break
[2569.61] Andy: but
[2570.49] Andy: If you stick a gopro on that then they usually do so
[2573.93] NJ: Yeah, you can cover that
[2576.17] Andy: The the gt2 has got a huge thick frame
[2579.69] Andy: Well, the one I had the very first version and I I would challenge anyone to try and break that it's like a brick
[2586.49] Andy: so I think either you go heavy and
[2589.37] Andy: Don't break anything or you go lightweight and stuff's going to break eventually
[2594.25] NJ: Yeah, I think well another prime example of that is the the b fight
[2599.29] NJ: Which you've you've reviewed and i've received
[2602.17] NJ: Um as well
[2607.05] NJ: Which is that right which is
[2610.09] NJ: Super light and my camera's out of you. Here we go
[2612.81] NJ: Um, which is that guy there? Um, and this started life as a b fight
[2617.21] NJ: But i've completely butchered it and put in a completely different everything and upgraded the motors. But
[2623.29] NJ: Yeah, this is the one that's sub 300 grams. I think it's like 270. Yeah
[2628.09] Andy: Something like that
[2630.17] NJ: Because of that low inertia being so light. I mean this has decked quite hard a few times
[2635.13] NJ: Not carrying the inertia. It's been fine
[2636.65] NJ: But as you say if you start putting the gopro on and bringing the weight up suddenly these arms aren't going to cut it
[2641.85] NJ: Yeah, and and it will break but that that would be a real candidate for something like the run cam split
[2647.85] NJ: um
[2648.73] NJ: Where you can do
[2650.09] NJ: Yeah, well, this is the the problem is is just you know, look
[2654.25] NJ: You can get three in the stack quite happily, but there's no room for a fourth
[2658.81] NJ: no, yeah, um
[2660.81] NJ: so
[2661.77] Tony: I'm hoping the v2
[2663.69] Tony: Is going to be a lot better because I want to put my my race. I want to put it in my race quads
[2668.81] Andy: But you know, you know how we were talking about latency earlier. I I
[2673.69] Andy: Struggled to notice latency between ppm
[2677.53] Andy: And s bus however when I flew the run cam split I definitely noticed it
[2684.65] Frank: so
[2685.69] Andy: Yeah, well that that was and you know my my sense because it was slower. Yeah
[2691.05] Andy: So sorry, so yes slower
[2693.69] Andy: I could it was it was flyable. It was but I could definitely notice a delay there. Yeah, so
[2701.21] Andy: Which which surprised me because I never noticed stuff like that
[2705.53] Andy: So yeah, that was that I think if you're doing fast racing through gates and stuff
[2710.81] Andy: I think it's doable, but I think if you require that sort of
[2716.33] Andy: There's really quick maneuvers then you could end up
[2719.69] Andy: struggling maybe yeah, I think
[2722.65] NJ: Sorry, there's a question from uh, davey davey boy saying would it be better to use?
[2727.69] NJ: 16 by 9 cameras for my dom 3's
[2731.05] NJ: um, and just because it's been discussed a bit so
[2733.93] NJ: I i'm sure everyone's got their own opinion on this but
[2737.05] NJ: the the pros of 16 by 9
[2739.45] NJ: Uh having that aspect ratio as it should be without the side stretched is obviously good
[2744.65] NJ: I found it doesn't really matter in freestyle using a 4 by 3 camera in 16 by 9 goggles like the amway commanders or the dom v3s
[2752.41] NJ: For freestyle, that's absolutely fine. It's when you're racing and you're going through gates
[2757.13] NJ: Uh and all of a sudden the gate looks squashed and for me i'm no problem racing through gates
[2762.25] NJ: But a 4 by 3 camera
[2764.73] NJ: On a 16 by 9 screen going through the gate suddenly becomes incredibly intimidating for me and it's a weird thing
[2773.05] NJ: so
[2774.65] NJ: In terms of the 16 by 9 cameras. There's a couple out there
[2777.53] NJ: There's a couple of CMOS based ones, which are actually very fast
[2781.53] NJ: Like you couldn't tell the latency on them at all. I think the monster certainly the v1 the v2
[2786.65] NJ: I think is actually quicker than an 11 77 believe it or not
[2790.49] NJ: But the problem with the monster is uh, certainly the one that i've been testing is that very hard to get the settings
[2797.61] NJ: Good, they have a lot of that kind of tendency that CMOS cameras have
[2802.09] NJ: Where you flip around to see the sun and the wide dynamic range setting on it doesn't really do a good job of exposing both
[2809.69] NJ: Very well. Yeah, but in terms of having 1200 TV lines of information the picture is beautiful when it's good
[2816.49] NJ: It's amazing and then 16 by 9 in 16 by 9 is great
[2820.81] NJ: So that's why i'm super intrigued to try the sparrow out, which I know andy's tried
[2825.53] NJ: Um, but yeah, that's my take on it in terms of of 16 by 9
[2829.45] NJ: It's just that vertical space thing. The other thing is because of the shape of the sensor you find you lose that
[2835.77] NJ: Vertical which really it means that your camera angle is a lot more critical when you're flying
[2841.69] NJ: Because you've lost that extra vertical information that you will have on a 4 by 3 sensor
[2846.25] NJ: So you tend to and going to a wider lens doesn't solve the problem
[2849.85] NJ: Like most of them come with like a 2.5 lens you put a 2.1 on it and you think oh i'll get more vertical
[2855.45] NJ: You actually look at a picture
[2857.29] NJ: Of a 16 by 9 camera with a 2.1 2.5
[2862.25] NJ: Lens or even a 1.8 and you'll see virtually no difference
[2864.97] NJ: All it does is get more warped at the edges and it doesn't really give you any more vertical information
[2871.05] NJ: So there's pros and cons to the whole thing
[2873.77] NJ: Um, but I do like there are occasions for freestyle where I really like a 16 by 9 picture in 16 by 9
[2882.01] Tony: Yeah, if you match the camera with your goggles, I think you're on a winner because i'm still
[2886.89] Tony: I still love my v2s
[2888.89] Tony: Because most cameras are still
[2892.17] Tony: Not 16 by 9. There's only a few cameras out there
[2895.69] NJ: Yeah
[2898.41] NJ: How did you find the sparrow help held up in terms of
[2901.85] NJ: The wide dynamic range and because that's the bit that I want to test having worked with
[2906.17] NJ: Reviewed and looked at the monster in quite quite a lot of detail
[2910.65] NJ: Um, was it quite good?
[2914.17] Andy: Yeah, I thought it was incredible, you know, it's funny because
[2917.93] Andy: Runcam
[2919.37] Andy: They they emailed me and said we're going to send you this camera. We've got no information for you though
[2924.09] Andy: Right. So so I didn't I didn't know whether it was a ccd or cmos. Yeah
[2932.41] Andy: All that I knew was that it was a micro 16 by 9 camera, so
[2937.61] Andy: I I took the runcam
[2941.21] Andy: micro 2 off the same model and replaced it with the
[2946.65] Andy: 16 by 9 camera
[2948.65] Andy: And I flew it and I couldn't I couldn't tell the difference with pitch quality or wide dynamic range or anything like that
[2955.29] Andy: So I was really impressed for me the the whole 16 by 9 4 by 3 thing
[2960.33] Andy: It's it's it's an ocd thing for me. I don't i'm i'm sure it's fine flying. What do you mean?
[2968.41] Jack: No, no ocd
[2971.05] Jack: No, no, Andy is rsd
[2977.29] Andy: No, no ocd no anyways no so like a 4 by 3 camera
[2982.73] Andy: Um stretched on a 16 by 9 screen like the dumb
[2986.49] Andy: Dumb v3s and the the box goggles it it winds me up even though I can fly fine with it
[2992.97] Andy: So so so for me, I don't really notice a difference. It's just that everything's in perspective better
[3001.29] Andy: When it comes to sort of does it improve the flying experience?
[3004.57] Andy: Probably not because you know, we're still dealing with analog video regardless
[3009.77] NJ: Well, I did notice actually because I did I watched that sparrow, uh review of yours and um
[3015.93] NJ: What the one thing I did notice having messed around with the monster and the monster v2 is I recognized the on-screen display for that
[3024.25] NJ: Interface looked identical. Yeah
[3027.05] NJ: That got me thinking
[3029.29] NJ: You know fox here and runkamad of is there are they borrowing? Uh, is that is that an open source?
[3036.25] NJ: Interface that is accessible to both companies or that this it was just something very familiar
[3041.53] Andy: Yeah, I mean they're all hacked cctv cameras anyway, aren't they? Yeah
[3046.25] NJ: yeah, but it had a lot of the same options which are very uh, very different to how a
[3052.57] NJ: uh 1177 deal, you know, you have you turn on wide dynamic range and you set the amount but you've
[3058.73] NJ: It's a totally different thing on the on the monster with that menu
[3062.41] NJ: uh where you choose your low middle and high settings and then there's
[3065.93] NJ: There's various other parameters around that to to try and get it to work
[3070.33] NJ: But yeah on the monster v2
[3072.09] NJ: It's it's been a real mission to get it with wide dynamic ranges working
[3075.93] NJ: Well, so if you say the sparrow was good and it certainly looked good from your footage and that's definitely something
[3082.01] Andy: They've got a they've got a bigger version of it as well
[3084.97] Andy: And it's just called see the one I review was the sparrow micro, but they've got a sparrow
[3090.25] Andy: A bigger size one that I need to check out as well. So I'll have to see if there's any difference
[3094.49] Andy: Yeah, it's what I like them. You know, I i'm not that great at spotting differences though, you know
[3100.49] Andy: I I don't do racing or anything like that. I just do freestyle and any advancement in this top technology
[3107.05] Andy: I'm just like wow, that's amazing
[3110.49] NJ: Yeah, well I I think 16 by 9 is just it's
[3115.13] NJ: It's great. But the only thing I would definitely not choose it for is is racing
[3120.09] NJ: I just think you need all the vertical information you can get when you're racing and you
[3124.49] NJ: Tilting that quad at 90 degrees and slamming the throttle. You just you can't sacrifice
[3130.09] NJ: information off the top and the bottom
[3132.17] NJ: But um, but yeah for me for freestyle and just having a lovely picture
[3136.73] Andy: Maybe we'll see a super view style fpv camera at some point because I think you know
[3143.37] Andy: And yet when you look at the uh, the advancement of any sort of visual technology
[3148.57] Andy: It's always gone from 4 by 3 to 16 by 9
[3151.45] Andy: So I imagine that will probably happen if it goes digital which it probably will at some point
[3157.29] Andy: So when we're all when we've all got gopro quality in our goggles, then maybe it'll be 16 by 9
[3165.77] Jack: Sounds good
[3169.77] Jack: I've got two questions for tony
[3172.25] Jack: And then one thing for davie, uh, tony what?
[3182.09] Jack: What
[3184.81] Jack: Are you not talking to me again? Well, I said what?
[3189.69] Jack: Yes, darling, it's like listening to a teenager and his mom
[3194.09] Andy: I know. Yeah, I know
[3196.33] Andy: Would you like a mediator to like talk through me if jack tells me? Yeah
[3200.73] Andy: Okay, i'll tell tony. Okay andy. What does the goliath want?
[3205.69] Andy: Jack
[3207.05] Jack: I think tony wants to know what you want. Tell that bold old
[3212.49] Andy: Dog molesting. I really wish I had agreed to this already. I'm instantly regretting it
[3219.05] Jack: Has anyone got any popcorn? I'd love the popcorn. Yeah
[3223.45] Jack: Yeah, delicious sweet. Also, I want a couple
[3227.69] NJ: What kind of guy you are sweet and you can't mix sweet and salty is just terrible. That's such a bad
[3233.45] Jack: I'm more sweet, but sweet and salty is good, man. You've got to try
[3237.93] NJ: All the bad things in one
[3240.49] NJ: sweet or salty
[3242.57] Jack: um
[3243.85] Jack: asking
[3245.21] Jack: is he
[3246.25] Jack: Tony have you did you get your camera working?
[3249.85] Tony: Because obviously you don't like me anymore. Tell that freaking yeti longer
[3255.37] Tony: Three if I did
[3257.61] Jack: so pay he's so
[3260.81] Jack: He he he had a go at me earlier for trying to read the daily mail
[3266.68] Tony: I said all newspapers were the crap
[3269.32] Jack: Oh my god, this come from the guy who spends his life on wiki leaks. Um, the daily mail is terrible
[3276.04] Andy: They're all crap. I don't need to read the news
[3281.0] Tony: Did you uh hear about the um, uh, this is totally off subject
[3286.6] Tony: But daffy boy just reminded me because I put a post out
[3290.36] Tony: Vegans are now selling their shite
[3297.96] Tony: For people like you who have got crone's disease
[3301.72] Andy: There who have got bad poo poos because you eat
[3313.72] Tony: It's a poop transfusion
[3317.08] Tony: Is
[3324.92] Tony: And then jack
[3331.16] Jack: Better welcome to let's poop out
[3340.2] Jack: As well
[3347.0] Tony: You're an asshole, I think I remember you saying last week that you had to have tests for something like live on air
[3353.32] Jack: Yeah, I know. Yeah
[3355.0] Jack: tests, I know
[3357.0] Jack: It might not mean there's something dementedly wrong with me
[3362.36] Tony: Look we all know you're wrong anyway
[3365.8] Jack: Um, did side get his stuff by the way, he hasn't uh, no he hasn't picked it up
[3371.48] Jack: All right. He'll probably come tomorrow
[3373.24] Jack: Um, dummy right guys, we got we're in tech corner now where we're trying to help people instead of ruining their lives like tony
[3381.48] Jack: um
[3383.08] Jack: What an asshole
[3386.52] Tony: Exactly you're saying exactly the right thing there jack
[3389.86] Jack: Arsehole it it will help
[3396.2] Tony: Has anyone used this i've used this the other day and it was a win
[3401.16] NJ: Conformance coating now conformal. Yeah
[3404.12] Tony: Yeah, I put it in
[3405.8] Tony: um, I
[3407.0] Tony: took a quarter part
[3408.84] Tony: covered my eses covered my
[3411.32] Tony: um
[3412.12] Tony: flight controller
[3413.56] Tony: Everything left it for a day turn it on fired up fine and I actually
[3418.2] Tony: Put my quad out in the rain
[3420.44] Tony: It was peeing down and I flew it in the rain and it was
[3423.96] Tony: Fun, so I know now I have a totally waterproof quad that I can actually fly in the complete
[3431.96] Tony: Rain, like I really want to do a proper peeing down
[3435.8] Andy: Like where'd you get that from tony because i've i've killed two quads in two weeks
[3441.96] Tony: Due to landing them with grass. I got it off ebay
[3445.88] Tony: It's called, uh flexible silicon coating electro lube. It was six quid delivered
[3453.32] Tony: I wonder what
[3457.08] Jack: Find that it's amazing what comes up in your
[3462.6] Jack: Lubricant
[3464.68] Jack: The lonely nights the lonely night
[3468.52] Jack: I can I can smell the muster of the testosterone
[3477.8] Jack: Shut up you vegan idiot, right?
[3480.92] Jack: Hello, I'm looking for some very guys regarding my most recent bills
[3487.24] Jack: Basically the problem is i've got video lines in my
[3491.48] Jack: video feed
[3493.16] Jack: My arm the quad nothing major, but decided to have a poke around
[3498.2] Jack: um
[3499.8] Jack: Right, so what is would you like to know what is running or shall I just get to the problem?
[3504.52] Jack: Yes, that's the problem. That's all right. Okay. All right
[3507.96] Jack: We can read if we're that arrow v3 on there nj by the way, I love your review on that
[3514.2] Jack: He hasn't reviewed it have you reviewed it? Yes
[3519.16] NJ: Actually jack
[3522.36] Jack: Um
[3523.72] Jack: What I discovered is the top part the pod with the frame where the camera and vtx amounted on it
[3530.36] Jack: And he takes it from the bottom section arm it the video is nice and clear
[3535.8] Jack: But as soon as I sit the pod back on the
[3539.32] Jack: the lines appear
[3541.0] Jack: So i'm guessing
[3542.52] Jack: his motor screws
[3545.4] NJ: Uh endings do you reckon yeah, it sounds like that's that's exactly it. You've got you've got, uh something
[3552.28] NJ: uh, this is like a basically like an earth loop in there, so I would
[3556.44] NJ: Uh check each point on each esc of the three points. Uh, and I would check it again
[3562.6] NJ: Put put the negative into the motor screw
[3564.92] NJ: or uh
[3565.4] NJ: That's the easiest way all the negative of the battery terminal and then go around the other one and
[3569.88] NJ: And check each of your esc points and see if you're getting anything go off except the ground wire because obviously that will go off
[3576.92] NJ: But um, I I check for for that very likely to be a ground screw
[3582.36] NJ: Uh ground screw going in
[3584.76] NJ: if he's getting
[3586.36] NJ: If it's I mean, it's a little tricky to tell because a lot of the really nasty
[3590.92] NJ: um
[3591.88] NJ: lines that you get
[3593.48] NJ: from motor noise
[3595.48] NJ: If it is motor noise, it's usually flat or slightly diagonal
[3599.88] NJ: And that is and that is alternating current coming in which because that's all your escs are the little alternating current generators
[3607.64] NJ: Um, and you tend to see that more in the higher throttle range. So sometimes a quad that's giving you bad problems. Um
[3615.4] NJ: Is is due to you you'll see more of that in the upper throttle range
[3620.52] NJ: So if you're still getting that after you check you haven't got any ground problems chuck an lc filter in there
[3625.48] NJ: Um, most of the modern flight controllers these days and all-in-ones with osds have pretty pretty decent filtering
[3631.24] NJ: So you tend not to have a problem
[3633.08] NJ: If you still can't get it solved with an lc filter the absolute be all and end all way to kill all
[3638.84] NJ: Uh ac noise in your quad is to put like a 250
[3644.34] NJ: microfarad radial capacitor on each esc
[3648.36] NJ: Um, you put that and that stops it dead. I guarantee you will have perfectly clean video. That is the 100 way it's solved it
[3656.84] NJ: And what are they so you put them in parallel on the
[3660.2] NJ: escs
[3660.84] NJ: So you've got the plus and the minus dc in and then you've got your three phase out to the motor
[3665.8] NJ: so on the plus and the minus uh, you wire the plus to the plus leg of the
[3672.04] NJ: capacitor
[3673.32] NJ: To the plus right at the esc with the legs nice and short
[3677.08] NJ: Um, and like I said around 200 250 microfarads radial capacitor
[3683.24] NJ: Um, and you just put a lot of escs the older escs the helicopter escs
[3688.04] NJ: Uh, they have them they've got them all on them. I don't know why mini quads
[3691.24] NJ: They just started taking them off, but they've been on them for years. It's just well. Yeah, there is that but it's size
[3697.4] NJ: It's a good idea to have
[3700.6] Andy: Did he say as well
[3702.52] Andy: Did he say that the lines weren't there he's got it all in a pod and when he screws the pod down
[3708.28] Andy: That's when the noise comes is that
[3711.0] Andy: it could be shielding as well on the vtx if it's like a
[3715.16] Andy: A poor vtx I found as well
[3717.24] Andy: If you if it gets closer to like say a regulator on the board, then noise can get through the
[3723.72] Andy: If it's got bad shielding on the you know, vtx is having a fire though. Have the blade
[3728.92] Andy: Take i'm sorry
[3730.52] NJ: Unify though, so it should be all right. Oh was it? Okay. Yeah. Yeah, the unifiers are usually pretty bulletproof for that kind of stuff. Sure
[3738.52] NJ: um
[3740.76] NJ: I'll try all those things. Anyways a few bits to have a go out there
[3745.08] NJ: Any other questions, davey boy asks and erc
[3748.76] NJ: Have you done a draw for the giveaway you did for the b fight and the other 120 quad yet?
[3754.6] Andy: I have yes
[3755.64] Andy: I'm just waiting for them to reply
[3758.44] Andy: So I I did a giveaway and I said that
[3762.36] Andy: If I don't get a reply within a couple of days i'll be picking someone else. So
[3767.0] Andy: the the leader 120
[3770.52] Andy: Winner has replied but the b fight guy hasn't so i might have to redraw it if I if I don't
[3781.08] Andy: I actually use a uh, it's a cool website. It's a random
[3785.24] Andy: comment picker
[3786.92] Andy: And you could you just put your youtube url in there and press the button and it like picks it for you
[3792.44] Andy: It's really good because it means that no one sort of you know gets missed and stuff. It's a good idea
[3798.2] NJ: Uh, I'm just sorry. I was just laughing at uh curry kitten's, uh comment get the lube out to relieve the tension
[3810.6] NJ: Any other questions that we
[3813.24] Tony: Have missed the need looking at
[3816.28] Tony: um
[3817.72] Andy: Well jack's gone off with the amp there. So he's i've had a fire today. Can I talk about that?
[3823.96] Andy: We forgot about that. Yeah
[3826.76] Andy: so, um, yeah, I mean I was I was working on a video today and
[3832.68] Andy: nj you'll probably get this like did you know when you received something and
[3837.24] Andy: It just I mean I think you had it with the b fight and it just all goes
[3841.4] Andy: It just all goes wrong and you look at it and you just think this is going to take up a lot of my time
[3847.88] Andy: Yeah, absolutely
[3850.12] Andy: There's a couple of quads out there and I i've mentioned it in videos before so there's um
[3854.76] Andy: There's the the fury bee brand you might have heard of it's like gear bests
[3859.96] Andy: Isheen if you will
[3861.96] Andy: they um
[3863.0] Andy: From from from what I gather like isheen and fury bee they're they're just brands that
[3868.6] Andy: The company just bolts on there. I don't know if you've seen the uh, you know
[3872.2] Andy: These isheen ev goggles that everyone's talking about. Well, if you go on gear best website, they're called the the fury bee
[3880.04] Andy: Ev 100 so I I don't think where that isheen and fury bee. I don't I think they are just brands that either
[3886.92] Andy: Bangor or gear best slap on to a product that someone else provides
[3891.08] Andy: so, uh anyways
[3893.8] Andy: The um, i've been having problems with usually the this fury bee brand is pretty good
[3899.88] Andy: But they've released the quad called the p 180
[3903.48] Andy: and the g 180
[3905.88] Andy: And i've had three of them in an attempt to you know, try and get a review out of them
[3911.72] Andy: But every time something fails, I managed to get a review of the
[3916.36] Andy: P-180 that took two models and two ese's catching fire
[3921.64] Andy: They've sent me they've sent me that this one. This is the one that caught fire today
[3925.64] Andy: This is called the g 180 and it was just sat on sat on the desk. I was just uh
[3932.52] Andy: This one already had an ese uh fail. It just wasn't working
[3937.08] Andy: It's the the eses that are the problem and it was just sat on the the desk there
[3941.64] Andy: I had the battery plugged in and the magic smoke just starts coming out
[3946.28] Andy: and uh, yeah, so so that's my
[3949.56] Andy: No, no review today because it just caught fire and I don't i'm not sure whether i'm gonna persevere with it
[3956.44] Andy: Because it's exactly the same components as this p 180 model. It's set. It's got a different frame. So
[3963.8] Andy: Yeah, if you ever check that one out, it's uh, it could be a lot of work for you
[3967.88] Andy: I might i'm at the point where i'm kind of like i've had enough of it like, you know through
[3972.6] Andy: Uh three ese fires is uh, it's it's not worthy of my time anymore
[3980.04] Andy: But yeah, that was my day at uh caught fire
[3983.08] Andy: I might like I get fed up with it and throw it back in the box
[3986.52] Andy: But I might stick another ese on there at some point but uh, yeah
[3991.0] Andy: It's like sometimes you'll spend I think people don't realize this when you review stuff
[3995.24] Andy: Like it can be you can literally spend all day
[3998.44] Andy: On it and then it breaks at the end. There's nothing you can do. You can't release the video and you have to
[4003.64] Andy: Uh talk with the company you have to send it back
[4006.92] Andy: Sometimes them send you a new one and it's sometimes it's just not worth the effort. So
[4012.36] Andy: Yeah
[4013.32] Andy: That's my story today
[4015.4] NJ: Yeah, and it's all it's all it's all part of the parcel especially when we're talking
[4019.72] NJ: You know a lot about these long-range systems earlier these things go through my head. You just think
[4025.0] NJ: It's just that whole argument again of single single points of failure, you know
[4029.8] NJ: The helicopters are riddled with them and so are so a cod copters, you know one
[4034.2] NJ: One capacitor on one ese might go down and you know
[4037.96] NJ: That one capacitor is a single point of failure on a cod copter and that loan the ese as a whole
[4043.48] NJ: You know, there's there's all these things. So there are things that you do. You just have to
[4047.48] NJ: I think that you should
[4049.88] NJ: Uh spend the money on um, if you're you know
[4052.76] NJ: building one yourself and and
[4055.16] NJ: Yeah, if you get three of one quad as a plug and fly and you've had this same issue with the eses each time
[4061.4] NJ: I mean ultimately this is going to cost them because they've clearly got a qc problem
[4065.96] NJ: Uh with the eses that they're being provided
[4068.92] NJ: um
[4070.2] NJ: Yeah, but at the same time you kind of have to
[4073.8] NJ: Put the word out there
[4075.56] NJ: Sorry, you don't want to upset the yeah
[4077.72] Andy: When it comes to you when it comes to the p180 that that's what I did. I managed to get a review out of it
[4084.2] Andy: But I I did sort of say look, you know, it's had it's had two ese failures
[4088.92] Andy: It's got had noise all over the video as well and uh, yeah, so
[4094.44] Andy: I will probably avoid that one. Yeah, indeed
[4098.2] Andy: I don't like I don't like saying something's crap. So what I will say about this one is that it's not very good
[4106.28] Andy: What no what i'll say is on paper. It looks fantastic. But mine that I got a little bit flamey a little bit flamey
[4115.8] NJ: Hot under the collar red red props to hide the fire
[4120.68] UNKNOWN: Yeah
[4122.04] Tony: Are you coming back jack? Have I upset you or has uh your isp upset you that much that you
[4129.72] Jack: everything
[4131.56] Jack: all above
[4132.84] Jack: absolutely everything
[4135.0] Jack: I have I'm disappointed in and the rc for not defending me
[4141.8] Andy: Not defending what defending were
[4145.48] Jack: I don't I
[4151.48] Andy: I was the person in the middle and yeah
[4159.8] Jack: Especially messenger as good looking as he is
[4161.88] Andy: You
[4166.92] Jack: Sing my replies
[4169.16] Andy: There's a there's a reason that I rarely show my face on the on the on my channel
[4173.88] Andy: It's just it's not worth looking at whatsoever
[4177.56] Tony: Come on
[4179.88] Jack: That's probably what they mean. It's like advertiser unfriendly. Yeah. Yeah my face
[4185.88] Andy: My face is advertising
[4187.88] Jack: It's the male version of hello boys
[4192.2] Andy: Come to think of it. Yeah, every every video i've had where they've said not advertiser friendly was one where I got my face
[4201.32] Andy: So, uh, yeah
[4204.28] Andy: That's nice
[4205.88] Andy: Davey boy says you're too beautiful andy. Oh, thanks very much. I don't know what to do with that information, but
[4213.72] Jack: Not that far north wales what the um is the is the car parcel thing in what the north miles
[4221.48] Frank: Yeah
[4223.0] Jack: Wiles though, that's the worst part
[4226.6] Frank: Yeah, but it's the castle
[4229.0] Jack: It's miles
[4231.56] Tony: It's mileage, isn't it? Hello bsm web. Yeah, I was just about to say bsm
[4236.84] Tony: I'm sorry. I'm a text you i'm a knob. No, see no one like went no
[4244.52] Tony: Nodded
[4245.8] NJ: I was just saying big hello to uh
[4248.52] NJ: Bms where to pull uh bms or bsm
[4252.76] NJ: doing this
[4253.8] NJ: Yeah bms web, uh, especially obviously paul and thomas and thomas winning the adelay cup
[4259.56] NJ: That was absolutely epic. If you haven't been on their channel and checked out that video. You should go and watch it. It is absolutely
[4265.7] NJ: Incredible that my uh adrenaline was going just watching it. I don't know how thomas stays so cool. I know he's brilliant, isn't he?
[4273.4] Tony: Super
[4274.84] NJ: Something. Yeah, I think it was eight for first first place
[4278.68] Andy: Yeah, I don't know how to do it when I when I was at western park watching
[4282.92] Andy: Listening to those beeps go down my heart my heart was going
[4287.16] Tony: I was watching beeps man. They they're I will
[4290.92] Tony: You know when you die and have flashbacks
[4294.12] Tony: Well, I don't know about when I die, but yeah flashback they're gonna be there
[4302.92] Jack: I hate them things. I I think um
[4306.84] Jack: You know that last beep is like the lead up to the flat line because it's kind of like tony's mind
[4316.52] Jack: Hook your monitor up to a beat module in intensive care, you know
[4323.88] Jack: That is mind flatlining
[4326.2] Tony: Here we go
[4327.64] Jack: Here we go. Come on. That's where that comes from near death
[4333.24] NJ: So the baby boy is just asking about a couple of quads here in the quads corner
[4338.52] NJ: Um, so the series asking about is it what's the white cod?
[4342.12] NJ: So that's the one I did a three-part bill video on that guy. That's the beast sx by ready eddie
[4348.36] NJ: Ah, it's just awesome with the crazy
[4351.0] Jack: Look like it's made by apple
[4353.64] NJ: It does a little bit doesn't it in which case it's it's it's a million pounds
[4358.84] NJ: Um, and the white one is that's my main freestyler
[4363.8] NJ: Which is the x version of that which is called the beast
[4369.08] NJ: And uh, yeah while we're on the subject of esse these are the
[4373.72] NJ: furious
[4374.84] NJ: es
[4375.96] NJ: High volt 35 amp
[4378.6] NJ: And they are very light and very very good. They've been solid
[4382.2] NJ: I've got them on both of those actually. So if you want to know what esse's I run
[4386.6] NJ: Those guys there are absolutely superb. So yeah, that's what's floating in the background
[4392.04] Tony: Yeah, i'm hearing a lot of people will talk about spedex as well. Everyone's really liking spedex
[4397.0] NJ: I've got one lot on sorry. That's exactly what they are. Why did I see? I don't know
[4403.0] NJ: Furious you're right. They are
[4405.08] NJ: And I thought i'm really good at marketing me. Yeah, they are spedex
[4411.72] Jack: I think
[4416.28] Jack: 35
[4419.98] NJ: Yes, they're 35
[4423.18] Jack: Holy shit, this is like the end of the world. I've corrected enjo. You have yes their es 30
[4431.5] NJ: They burst
[4434.38] Jack: Apparently
[4444.06] Tony: How long until spedex put their prices up because brad is flying it's so cheap
[4448.86] Tony: Yeah, I know they are. They're like six quid each. Yeah, the ones i've got and brad is is flying a uh, all in one
[4455.58] Tony: 40 m
[4456.78] Tony: um
[4458.14] Tony: And he's loving it at the moment
[4460.46] NJ: Yeah
[4462.54] Tony: Very good on them on the on the on the revo or anything with um tilted arms
[4468.94] NJ: Yeah
[4470.14] NJ: Mikey said do they do d shot?
[4472.46] NJ: 1200
[4473.74] NJ: And daby boy quite rightly said no d shot 600 at the minute d shot 600
[4479.5] NJ: Is where to be it's getting the most updates and it's got the most features
[4483.4] NJ: 16.63 does all the d shot commands like turtle mode and all that business
[4488.14] NJ: Um b. All heli 32 is is going to be brilliant, but it's just it's lacking the updates at the minute, you know
[4496.78] NJ: telemetry current sensing volt sensing
[4500.7] NJ: rpm data that telemetry goodness, uh will come
[4505.1] NJ: Um, but yeah, we just got to wait for the updates for that stuff at the minute d shots 600 is probably where to be
[4511.66] NJ: um until
[4513.74] NJ: 32 develops a little further that
[4516.54] Tony: Give it a couple of weeks and then the spedex of the
[4522.86] Tony: Everyone's putting them up you can guarantee they just whack their prices up
[4527.66] Jack: Yeah
[4529.02] Jack: Um, yeah, we could be a shame
[4532.38] Jack: Are you running d shot on those tiger eses?
[4542.4] Andy: What?
[4547.07] Andy: Well, i love how we all just sat there down for about 10 seconds of dead air
[4551.15] Andy: I
[4552.51] Tony: Well, I was like like when jack speaks like part of my brain just switches off
[4557.79] NJ: I think he mentioned tiger eses and are they running d shot 600? I think
[4565.55] Tony: I listen to you. Jeff. I don't eat. I don't listen to him most as long
[4571.05] Jack: It is pointless. Honestly, I might as well just draw a face on a
[4576.41] Jack: Honestly, and that'd be my new friend
[4578.89] Tony: Starwood
[4583.93] Jack: It's vegan, um
[4590.09] Jack: The tiger eses, you know the team motor eses
[4595.61] Tony: Never heard of them
[4599.42] NJ: I've not tried them. But yes, I know what you're talking about. Do you run d shot on them?
[4604.3] Jack: You own several pairs
[4607.18] Jack: Are you talking to me or no? Yeah you you tony
[4615.1] Tony: I run f40s and then they're all on multi shot and like i've said a hundred times before i'm with chad
[4621.82] Tony: Nowak on this I can't tell the difference between d shot and multi shot apart from beeping eses and some magic stuff
[4629.18] Tony: It does
[4630.22] Tony: But apart from flying it no you great oath
[4633.9] Jack: You
[4635.9] Jack: Shot at least you don't have to calibrate yet
[4638.38] Tony: You used yours running d shot and I didn't feel the difference between d shot and multi shot. I've said it before
[4644.78] Jack: Yeah, but then you don't have to calibrate
[4647.9] Tony: I don't calibrate
[4652.54] NJ: You definitely should calibrate if you're a multi-shot table hello
[4657.42] Tony: Some on mute jack now for god's sake you're talking on the phone
[4660.94] Andy: It's like so professional isn't it? I um, I tried out bbl halley 32 a couple of months ago and
[4668.38] Andy: It it seemed very clunky and one of the eses fried as well. So
[4673.42] Andy: And you also need beta fly
[4675.88] Andy: 3.2 don't you to get to get it working as well?
[4679.74] NJ: Yeah, i've tried it. I did uh, i've flown a couple on bill halley 32. Um, and
[4686.06] NJ: Yeah, there's no massive perceivable difference at the minute to me either
[4690.46] NJ: But um, I think that next kind of step in terms of of a noticeable precision
[4696.94] NJ: Will probably be when the telemetry is received from the ese flight controller saying exactly
[4703.66] NJ: How many how much rpm the motor is doing?
[4706.62] NJ: Where it can relay that information and bait flight can make use of it
[4709.82] NJ: I think then some really cool stuff will happen. But at the minute yeah, there's
[4715.02] NJ: I as I said, they shot 600 all the way for the for the meantime. I remember about a month ago
[4721.1] Andy: I reviewed a quadcopter that didn't have bl halley ses
[4725.58] Andy: It was just bl halley and like no one was interested anymore because it didn't
[4730.62] Andy: Because it didn't have the s on the end and I think maybe give it a couple of months and no one will be interested in
[4735.74] Andy: bl halley s let's
[4738.46] Andy: Do at the end of it. So last week andy. Yeah, exactly
[4742.46] Andy: Yeah, have you had your uh, we talked we talked about those ishin goggles. Have you had them yet?
[4749.02] NJ: No, no sign of them. Yeah, the the crossfire is turning up tomorrow
[4753.18] NJ: Um, and I think very possibly tomorrow maybe the day after the ishin goggles will turn up seems uh,
[4758.94] Andy: Everywhere else has had them but I haven't seen a uk reviewer from yeah. Yeah mine mine were
[4765.82] NJ: uh, definitely one of the
[4768.38] NJ: I was told about them early and it was put on order to me as soon as they were available. So
[4774.54] NJ: It should be here any day. Um, but as I as I said, you know, we've chat about these this product
[4780.86] NJ: Uh between us a little as well
[4782.3] NJ: But uh, there's there's problems there that i've already spotted before i've even got them in my hands
[4787.98] Andy: But we shall wait and see it's a stranger on this because there was uh, eight thousand odd pre-orders. So
[4795.18] Andy: I think they probably already sold what they wanted to sell from them. Anyway, so
[4801.5] Andy: I've watched jews review
[4805.5] Andy: Is that the same ones you're talking about yeah, those are the ones they're basically it's an it's a it's an interesting case because
[4812.7] Andy: They were out at 77 pounds on pre-order
[4816.22] Andy: And then when they were released, they pretty much doubled the price of them, haven't they?
[4821.5] Andy: So really i've seen that happen before but not on a scale
[4825.66] Andy: Where like they have like eight thousand pre-orders, you know
[4829.02] Andy: So that's that's like a huge amount of sales for something that no one's tried
[4834.78] Andy: but I guess I think a lot of people sort of took the risk and said well, you know
[4839.58] Andy: If if they are going to sort of be as good as fat sharks, then
[4843.5] Andy: Or even if they're not then i'll take the risk and spend the 77 pounds
[4848.3] Andy: I think now that they've like doubled the price of them
[4851.58] Andy: I imagine it's getting close closer to the price of the teleporters perhaps
[4856.46] Andy: So, uh, maybe you know, so so many people won't be interested unless they
[4861.66] Andy: Bring the price down even more. But yeah, I don't have it. I don't have them yet. I'm still waiting on
[4867.18] NJ: Yeah, I will just say yes when you do your um
[4871.18] Tony: uh
[4872.86] Tony: uh
[4873.9] Tony: video with the
[4876.22] Tony: Crossfire
[4877.58] Tony: Are you gonna do it like with?
[4879.74] Tony: one
[4880.62] Tony: two the same quads but different
[4883.18] Tony: How are you gonna do it? Are you gonna put it on the same quad and so
[4887.42] NJ: I'll say now if you want to see a nice sort of blind test video of exactly that go and check out snake fpv's video
[4894.62] NJ: Um, and he's a great pilot as well. Um, if you go and check out what he's he just went out and you know
[4900.14] NJ: Rip balls on on two same quads blind test and he was like
[4904.7] NJ: You know on the first quality said this has got to be it. He knew straight away
[4908.62] NJ: Um, but for me it's really about using one of my old friends here that I know really really well
[4914.62] NJ: and i've free sold for well over a year on that quad
[4918.22] NJ: and
[4919.02] NJ: I know how that feels. I know what the rates are like. I know exactly what to expect with that. So
[4924.14] NJ: That's i'm hoping that i'm just going to notice it. So you're just going to change the yeah
[4929.74] NJ: I like to think i'm very good at being objective and not
[4932.78] NJ: hyping about something so i'm just going to go out and try it and I may come back and and conclude that
[4939.1] NJ: I can't spot a difference at all. But um
[4941.82] NJ: We'll see
[4943.1] NJ: Be interesting
[4946.41] Tony: That would be
[4949.8] Jack: Hey, we've got someone who's joined us
[4953.88] Jack: Yo, I felt this can hear me
[4956.2] Jack: Yeah
[4957.72] Jack: How's it going? What do you have to say for yourself? You're on trial?
[4961.88] Clint: I'm trying to choke my camera man. I've got nothing. I've got nothing to say
[4967.4] NJ: How are you
[4968.76] Clint: I'm all right. Yeah. How about you? Great mate. Nice to hear from you. Yeah, i've been uh, been real busy
[4973.96] Jack: So it's been a bit a bit bit sort of mental but uh, yeah, I missed I missed the sound of the mechanical keyboard
[4981.08] Clint: Ah, do you want me to type something for you now? Just just uh, you know, can you hear that?
[4986.44] Clint: Yeah, just came the way off just go on he's a
[4989.32] Jack: He's a proper youtuber man, he's like showcasing
[4994.6] Jack: Streaming velocity drone
[4998.12] Clint: You know
[4999.72] Clint: subs
[5001.32] Clint: That's that's the only kind of flying i've been doing recently. So
[5005.0] NJ: That's not that's the weather right the weather's been shocking
[5008.6] Clint: Well, I suppose I spoke to you at the other day, didn't I neil was uh, i'm looking for an indoor flyer now
[5012.36] Clint: So looking at something like the uh, the emx baby hawk or something similar
[5017.48] NJ: Yeah, just something something that's not too high voltage and handled nicely and has some prop guards. Um, but still
[5025.72] NJ: Potentially brushless although I know that's
[5028.04] NJ: That's just me being a bit of a power freak. I know and he was quite rightly said last week
[5032.68] NJ: You know, it's probably a lot more sensible to stay brushed if you're going to be indoors
[5037.0] NJ: but
[5038.2] NJ: Yeah, it depends how much expensive stuff you have to break in your house
[5041.56] Clint: I know that bothers. There's not that much really just monitors everywhere
[5045.32] Clint: But uh, I have just however fixed my quads. So my quality is all back together now
[5051.16] Clint: It's been it's been out of uh, it's been out of picture now for about a month. So
[5055.24] Clint: Yeah, just fixed it. I snapped it in two
[5058.12] Clint: Nice the grass. So, uh, yeah new new new frame new frame is that a rick and morty t-shirt i'm spotting there
[5064.68] Clint: And that is a rick and morty t-shirt. Yeah, i've been wild getting into that lately. I love it. It's amazing
[5070.28] Clint: I'm going they can't they can't bring it out quick enough. So
[5074.28] Jack: Yeah
[5075.72] Jack: I'll buy that for 25 smekles
[5078.84] Jack: Um, as you mean
[5080.84] Jack: Is your uh camera?
[5082.6] Jack: um
[5083.64] Jack: Dirty or have you been vaping mad hard?
[5087.88] Jack: Uh inside of radises van
[5090.92] Clint: Yeah
[5091.88] Clint: Vaping vaping mad hard man. I've been working really hard. So um, yeah, i've just been came in the hell out of this thing
[5097.8] NJ: So it's all fun
[5099.8] NJ: I think tony's frozen in this really thoughtful looking kind of thing
[5103.56] Andy: I think he's pretending to be frozen. So he doesn't have to reply such a good impression. He looks very existential
[5113.4] Jack: Oh, i've never seen him like that hold
[5116.6] Andy: Oh tony's gone. Is he sad enough?
[5119.16] Jack: I don't know
[5121.16] Jack: Yeah, maybe
[5122.84] Jack: Uh, let me text him
[5127.4] Clint: Did you um, also neil, did you get my question earlier about your uh, your your your x7?
[5132.92] NJ: Uh, i'm not sure. What was the question?
[5135.8] Clint: Originally, you said that you were going to move over to the qx7 from your x9d once once the m7s were available
[5142.76] NJ: Yes, this is true. Um, and now I have the m7s in
[5146.76] NJ: and
[5148.04] NJ: Do you know what? I found i've i've really given both of them a good go and what I did
[5151.88] NJ: On purpose was I split my models up
[5154.68] NJ: So that I didn't just leave one of them behind if I wanted to fly
[5158.28] NJ: The quads that I normally take out i've got half the models on the qx7 and half the models on the x9d
[5164.6] NJ: and
[5165.64] NJ: from a comfort point of view
[5168.2] NJ: I have to say the x9d has come out on top for me as a picture
[5173.48] NJ: Um, if I was flying thumbs the qx7 would be on top
[5178.28] NJ: So that's how I feel about those two things. The only thing I find with the qx7 is
[5182.84] NJ: When pinching that you tend to sometimes i'll knock the top switches
[5188.2] NJ: with my finger, um, so like for instance one of the
[5191.88] NJ: Switches there I pull down for acro and i'll knock it when i'm throttling
[5197.16] NJ: so
[5198.12] NJ: That's why I found that not quite as as nice I can still happen if you know
[5202.36] NJ: Someone said we've only got a qx7 here go out and fly no problem at all
[5206.68] NJ: If there's a preference now, uh between the two in terms of comfort
[5210.76] NJ: There's just uh a preference for me towards the x9d
[5214.68] NJ: Um as they both have those m7 and m9 gimbals, I just think
[5219.32] Andy: Do you prefer the gimbal? Do you prefer the updated gimbals to stock?
[5223.72] NJ: Oh absolutely 100 percent. That is one one thing that i've known
[5228.68] NJ: I mean I came from team spectrum and i'm going back a long long time
[5233.16] NJ: Yeah, uh, well, it's not that long originally. It was jr and it was in the old 35 megahertz days
[5239.16] NJ: Uh and futaba and then when spectrum came out
[5242.44] NJ: I went to that and spectrum always made radios with really good gimbals and I missed that
[5247.56] NJ: When I went to fr sky, I love the functionality of fr sky
[5251.64] NJ: But the uh, the gimbals were i'll be honest. I just think they're a bit rubbish
[5256.28] NJ: um
[5257.16] NJ: And as soon as they bought the m9s out that's that was a real night and day difference
[5263.08] NJ: Tension them nicely and they the extra resolution feels really good to me
[5268.12] NJ: Um, so yeah, I couldn't go back to the stock gimbals
[5271.72] Andy: You see this is what's interesting to me about reviewers and stuff like that because i've had the
[5277.64] Andy: M9 gimbals now, I think two or three months and i'm so close to switching back to the stock
[5284.28] NJ: Really? Yes, and is that is that a feel thing or a precision thing?
[5290.04] Andy: I I just can't I can't
[5292.68] Andy: Put put the nail on it what it is
[5294.2] Andy: But i'm just not enjoying flying with these gimbals as much as the stock
[5299.32] Andy: I don't know if it's because I flown so much on the
[5302.58] Andy: Originals, but I don't know it just feels more now. I fly with a ratchet and I think
[5308.28] Andy: Uh, you you guys probably aren't doing that
[5310.68] Andy: I don't know. Yeah, I think I think it might be down to that because the ratchet on the
[5316.52] Andy: Original toranis gimbals is very good and it's it's not overpowering
[5321.16] Andy: But i've been finding it difficult to tune it on the m9. So i'm considering i'm probably the only person
[5328.1] NJ: Considering switching back to the stock one. Wait, you could could do half and half. You could just have the throttle side
[5335.16] Andy: The m9 would look even more dodgy than it already is
[5340.36] NJ: I think the other the other bit I like
[5343.24] NJ: The other bit I like is that is the centering, you know when you because of those whole sensors
[5348.36] NJ: See, I still find movement. There's supposed to be no movement. Isn't have you calibrated them?
[5353.4] Andy: Yeah, I don't know that you don't because my mind is rock solid. They really
[5358.92] Andy: Mine still move maybe I got some dodgy ones
[5362.68] Jack: Maybe I um, I do know what you mean. They feel different because they're a little taller
[5370.04] Jack: The original ones and you can't get them to go as
[5374.84] Jack: small
[5376.04] NJ: See this is such a subjective thing, isn't it?
[5378.6] NJ: But it's really interesting to talk about it because again another thing which I I mentioned
[5383.32] NJ: I really like about the m9s
[5385.64] NJ: Is the way the the way they kind of max out like as they hit the wall
[5391.48] NJ: That kind of dampening that you get is because my rates when I do a fast flip
[5395.56] NJ: I know that's that's consistent to that end. I know how many flips i'll get for the amount of seconds i'm doing it
[5401.16] NJ: Yeah
[5401.8] NJ: and that the way it feels as it as it maxes out against the wall of the
[5406.84] NJ: The surround on the m9s just feels like it's hitting this perfectly cushioned suspension. It just feels awesome
[5413.64] NJ: And when I do it with the old gimbals, it's just this nasty plasticky clunk noise and it just feels horrible to me
[5420.2] NJ: But again, that's again. It's a subjective thing
[5423.32] NJ: It's a personal preference, but it's funny how all these things
[5426.84] NJ: uh
[5428.12] NJ: Are different to different people?
[5430.28] Jack: Sand down the grooves
[5434.73] Jack: on on your um m9s if you want them down same
[5440.33] Jack: And then sand down the new ones. Yeah, I I need to I need to play around with them
[5445.53] Jack: Sand them down and then you can also buy some of that teflon
[5451.53] Jack: On
[5454.57] Jack: You get the RC cars
[5457.93] Andy: And that one there it's kind of i'm so glad you said cars at the end of that
[5463.53] Jack: Or just borrow some of
[5466.97] NJ: An abnormally high, uh discussion of lube products on today. Yeah, we've covered at least three different
[5475.29] Jack: Some commission
[5480.73] Jack: I I corrected nj earlier. Who are you matt? Whatever?
[5487.05] Jack: Can you put mods in time out?
[5490.25] Jack: Just time out last does it matter? Oh, it's pointless. Anyway, oh you win this time
[5498.41] Jack: Sorry
[5500.86] NJ: Have you heard of tony hasn't come back? Oh, he's in the chat. Look
[5505.5] Jack: He's swearing at his laptop
[5508.22] Jack: He started he's not actually pissed off at clint clint are you gonna say anything you come on me don't say anything
[5514.46] Clint: Can you hear me? I did say I was speaking. I was looking at the new fr sky x10s, which just looks amazing
[5521.18] Clint: I got no what what's that?
[5523.66] Clint: So the uh, the fr sky x10s, it looks a bit like the qx7
[5527.02] Clint: Seven but obviously sort of all bells and whistles and it looks really really nice
[5531.9] Clint: Has like a carbon finish to it and a bigger screen
[5534.62] Clint: Which I assume is touch screen
[5536.62] NJ: But it's just which is kind of what the horrors was but then everyone well brit bruce slammed it and then
[5542.62] NJ: Well, that's that's what it is
[5546.06] NJ: Oh, right, okay. Yeah, yeah that that had issues though the horrors the gps
[5552.28] NJ: problems and
[5555.02] NJ: antenna problems with the diversity antenna in there which was causing range issues and
[5561.1] NJ: Yeah, I think there was some there was some issues but it looks wicked it does
[5566.46] NJ: I need one in my life
[5568.14] Clint: Yeah, are they still super expensive have they dropped in price?
[5571.58] Clint: I don't know. I'm on the actual
[5573.26] Clint: So i'm on the actual fr sky website looking at it. I think I saw there about 300 dollars
[5577.58] Clint: Uh that has come down then because i'm sure though
[5581.42] Clint: I could be wrong
[5583.18] Frank: I'll see if I could find somewhere to to have a look 340 on the first website
[5588.06] Clint: I've found
[5590.06] Clint: So, yeah
[5592.46] Clint: What's that and smackels
[5596.92] Frank: 3,400 ish
[5599.18] UNKNOWN: How much
[5601.18] Jack: That's a lot
[5603.18] Frank: That is
[5605.9] Frank: Only in what happened to the horrors
[5608.14] Jack: Do I even bother doing anything with those anymore?
[5611.5] Jack: Because they that that was the reason why
[5614.14] Jack: Open tx 2.2 took so long
[5618.24] Clint: So um the so on banggood, for example, the fr sky horace x10s is 325 pounds and the horace x10
[5626.32] Clint: Is 278 pounds?
[5628.64] Clint: Wow
[5629.44] NJ: Yeah, that's a that's a big old price drop
[5631.6] Andy: I think I think the problem is is it sort of uh, you always look at fr sky or free sky, whatever you want to call it as a
[5639.52] Andy: a budget brand so when you start going to like
[5643.6] Andy: 300 pounds in sort of fitaba territory and and those higher levels and I think maybe
[5649.76] Andy: Maybe that's why it's not working like the tyrannis
[5653.12] Andy: It's I mean the trius isn't and cheap the x9 indeed
[5656.32] Andy: But it's it's in that price range where it's not too low or too high and it's got all the features at the top
[5662.56] Jack: Does anyone own a fitaba? Does anyone want to buy this off me?
[5668.72] Jack: Well
[5671.6] Jack: It's s bust
[5674.72] Jack: And it may or may not have been in my mouth
[5679.6] Andy: Well, that's where uh, isn't that where s bus came from fitaba and fr sky so
[5686.72] Clint: So I thought it was from spectrum but I could be completely wrong i'm pretty sure
[5692.8] Clint: Spectrum anyway, yeah me and spectrum don't mix
[5695.84] Clint: Um, I mean a lot of things don't mix but specifically spectrum I seem to have a real bad sort of
[5703.04] Clint: Running with those
[5704.4] Andy: It seems that the clubs if you ever go to a club that are flying line of sight planes rather than fpv there
[5710.96] Andy: Using all spectrum and all fitaba stuff that fr sky is pretty much
[5715.84] Andy: like
[5717.12] Andy: For fpv stuff i'm finding this sort of like a bit of a divide there
[5720.96] NJ: So
[5722.96] NJ: It's so flexible though, isn't it? Uh, the fr sky stuff you can get it to do anything and the logical switches
[5730.0] NJ: It's so brilliant what you can you're kind of only limited by
[5734.4] NJ: Your imagination when it comes to what you can get that uh, transmitter to do but yeah, it's just
[5740.64] Jack: The hard way because open tx is awful. Sorry. Open tx is brilliant
[5746.16] Clint: I'll have nothing bad instead of an open tx. It's the confidence in it as well though, isn't it?
[5749.84] Clint: I mean fr sky just seems to work. The range is good. The penetration is good
[5755.52] Clint: And uh, it just does exactly what it should do. Whereas, you know, there are some transmitters out there which are terrible
[5762.0] Andy: Yes, there are no it's it's it's great. I think I think fr sky receivers sort of
[5768.56] Andy: They they they more suit quadcopters because of the the single
[5772.72] Andy: S bus input as well rather than having the individual
[5776.24] Andy: When I was building a little 3d plane, I was struggling because I wanted to use my tyrannis
[5780.64] Andy: But i was struggling to find a receiver that had more than four channels that was
[5785.6] Andy: Uh that was small enough to fit on a plane
[5788.88] Andy: like other than the x4 r you then have to go quite big to get more channels like the
[5794.72] Andy: The atax are is it cool and the x and the and the six as well
[5798.48] Andy: They're quite chunky to put on a little lightweight plane
[5801.44] Andy: So maybe it's maybe that's why as well that it more sort of favors the quadcopter world
[5806.0] NJ: It's something that took spectrum quite a long time actually to come around to to kind of realizing that the quadcopter thing was was
[5813.36] NJ: Pretty damn big and they need to make some more receivers that are focused towards uh fitting in quads
[5818.4] NJ: whereas fr sky just steamed in there and
[5821.04] NJ: Continue to make ones straight away for ultra lights like the xm and now you're getting ones that small with telemetry. So
[5828.64] NJ: I will say i'll give my buddy there in the comments. Uh
[5833.6] NJ: Blood's fpv a little plug because he made for me
[5837.2] NJ: You see these custom plates with my logo on them. Wow. Nice around which look pretty cool. I'll see
[5844.56] NJ: Yeah bloods mate. They're actually an aluminium sheet and with a print on so they're really nice quality
[5850.8] NJ: but um, yeah, if you go over to his
[5853.44] NJ: Uh website he uh, i'll have to blood so you'll have to put a uh link in the chat for people
[5859.84] NJ: um, but yeah, he he can do those with your custom logo and
[5864.24] Tony: And uh stick those on as you haven't got a stand on the back of that in jay
[5869.52] NJ: No, I will get one with that new crossfire going in there. Um
[5874.96] NJ: That's probably not such a bad idea. Where do you get those from because I was going to look in like fast lad the
[5880.96] Tony: Mine from jack's room
[5885.92] Tony: I think he got it from mobbie king. He was like 10 quid or something like that
[5890.8] Tony: They're just like uh, just a clamp that you just pull out and put
[5894.64] Tony: I love I love the fact that I can put my controller down and it stands up every time without getting dirty and wet and horrible
[5902.32] NJ: Yeah, I definitely need to get one of those. That's a really good point
[5905.12] NJ: So
[5910.0] Tony: I stole it off jack. Sorry jack. My god. We've done another two hour show
[5918.17] Tony: Yeah, it's gone quit it's andy comes on and we all love it and we stay on for two hours
[5925.85] Tony: Because I taught nonsense most of the time I think we love your videos and we love you having you on here
[5931.05] Tony: It's great. Thanks very much. Yeah
[5936.36] NJ: Fab well on that
[5939.48] Andy: Are you and jack gonna make up before we click because I kind of feel like there's
[5944.92] Andy: I almost feel felt like halfway through there. It was the end. We were watching the end of the podcast, right?
[5952.28] Jack: Sorry, I was coughing. Um frank has lovely lee been working on let's drone out badges
[5960.04] Jack: Wow, you know, that's beautiful
[5963.0] Jack: So
[5964.04] Jack: All the ones which are small and this will be about three pound or four
[5970.36] Jack: And these will be how much frank?
[5973.8] Frank: No, it's six pounds for the bigger ones three pounds for the smaller ones
[5977.96] Jack: Yeah, they're really cool
[5980.6] Andy: That's only stainless steel
[5985.92] Andy: Where can we get them from?
[5987.92] Frank: They'll be up on the facebook page in a bit
[5990.16] Tony: You want t-shirts still don't you I think we're gonna have to go into hoodies now because it's getting
[5995.04] Andy: Cold and dark proper cold, isn't it? Yeah
[5998.32] NJ: All right, the hoodie would be cool. I don't know a lot of hoodies mitts. Can we get let's turn out mitts?
[6006.24] NJ: I'm gonna
[6007.6] Tony: I'm gonna swap the t-shirts. I was gonna try to do to to
[6012.4] Tony: To hoodies. I need to talk to frank about it
[6016.16] Tony: Uh, not andry because frank's better at the hoodies
[6019.92] Andy: Andry's good at the I love the hoodie probably because i'm northern
[6024.32] Andy: There you go. Let's see
[6026.96] Jack: I thought northerners were impenetrable to the cold. I thought they wore t-shirts in the winter
[6033.52] Andy: Yeah, but this this is so that no one can recognize us when we're rubbing them
[6038.4] Jack: Oh
[6043.44] Jack: Right, uh, you've been listening to another marathon show I promise it won't happen next week
[6050.48] Jack: um
[6051.84] Jack: And some really interesting stuff and you guys done really well
[6055.36] Jack: plus, uh when we were going to finish it, uh
[6060.48] Jack: Uh clint came back enter us
[6064.24] Jack: Whatever so, uh, he made a little return and then we also had to hang on to find out whether tony was being a diva or not
[6073.92] Tony: I got abducted by aliens up in the way for like 10 hours
[6078.32] Jack: They want to they want to shit that bad
[6081.68] Jack: Yeah
[6083.92] Jack: I hope they got right in there. Um
[6088.08] Jack: And uh, yeah, so you've been listening to that show now i'm really sorry andy. I see this is you might as well not
[6094.16] Jack: I'll go to sleep now because it's tomorrow
[6097.28] Jack: No, that's fine
[6098.88] Jack: Okay, uh, you've been joined by frank who's making lovely badges
[6103.84] Jack: So long please buy badges from frank
[6106.72] Jack: Because well, so if you don't don't like publicly announcing that you listen to lecture now, which we fully understand
[6113.2] Jack: You could use the mr. Fridge magnet
[6115.68] Jack: um
[6116.72] Andy: You look like renor from red dwarf with a h
[6125.48] Tony: I was going to say he's got magical powers or something
[6129.24] Jack: um
[6131.48] Jack: Yep, uh, so we've been joined by frank
[6136.68] Jack: uh
[6137.96] Jack: Andy rc is a pleasure
[6139.96] Andy: Hello
[6141.08] Jack: Bye. Bye even you're lost and you're higher
[6143.96] Jack: Uh, good to see that you're still alive
[6152.92] Tony: It's clean. That was just like hello
[6156.12] Tony: Hi
[6158.04] Jack: No, uh nj tech
[6160.68] NJ: Take care guys. Good. Uh, good questions and comments and good to see everyone in the uh in the comments section
[6167.0] Jack: Chatting lots tonight. So yeah, great. See you next week. The diva tony. I see jack
[6172.6] Jack: Who you know far too much about thanks to tony
[6176.2] UNKNOWN: Thank you and good night
