[0.0] Jack: Welcome to the screen now, like Frank said, I'm a bit, I'm a bit disappointed now, but, uh,
[6.72] Jack: uh, episode 109, this is the make-up for no 100 episode show, it is the best of flight test.
[14.96] Jack: Starring David Viddestall,
[17.44] Windestål: David, yeah, I'm, I'm, am I still here?
[21.76] Windestål: Yes. Okay, good.
[23.2] Jack: And Chad Kapper.
[24.88] Jack: Hello.
[25.84] Jack: And we've got the usual suspects, Frank.
[29.76] Jack: Hello.
[30.32] Jack: Andy R.C.
[31.28] Jack: Hello.
[32.08] Jack: And Moni. I mean, Tony.
[33.68] Windestål: For sure.
[34.8] Jack: I've, I'm currently, the reason I was screaming don't start the show, don't start the show,
[39.52] Jack: was because I was just messaging, uh, Painless to be like, hey, do you want to fill in for, uh,
[47.68] Jack: for NJ Tech? And then I accidentally got rid of the link. So I am just skyping Painless 360.
[53.68] Jack: If you're wondering what I'm frantically doing and being like, uh, it's because I'm sending
[58.08] Jack: a load of gibberish.
[59.52] Andy: Are you suggesting that none of us are technical enough? So we need
[63.6] Andy: Lee to come up.
[64.56] Windestål: I just thought, I just thought it'd be nice. That was all.
[67.04] Jack: Oh yeah, get Lee out.
[69.84] Jack: Yeah, I just thought I just keep sending the wrong link again and again, like a moron.
[77.28] Tony: We've got zero in the chat.
[81.2] Tony: Hello, NJ.
[83.12] Tony: On the train or somewhere in London, doing some music thing.
[87.28] Jack: Yeah. I'm sorry for being the sole reason of your divorce all the time.
[93.52] Jack: Recent listeners to the show would know about that.
[98.64] Jack: I'm so sorry.
[99.52] Jack: I'm such a bad, bad person.
[102.8] Tony: People in the chat, Jack, do you want to shout some people out?
[105.76] Jack: Uh, yeah, I've only just finished catching up with what I'm doing. Hang on.
[111.12] Tony: Zero Striker.
[112.8] Jack: Yeah, go on.
[113.52] Tony: Lots of new people in David's in the chat as well.
[116.56] Tony: We've got Benny, we've got super flip B.
[119.84] Tony: There's lots of new people and Slarty is in Slarty Barfast.
[124.24] Tony: Mikey Dred, what's up?
[125.44] Jack: Yeah. Um, thank you for ruining your channel, uh, Andy RC. I'm so sorry.
[131.12] Jack: Like 25 dislikes on your channel for listening to help.
[134.48] Andy: I don't know what that was about. I think it's because I mentioned that David was on there and
[139.52] Andy: but he didn't come in until about an hour in.
[141.92] Andy: So it's going to be my fault for title and it wrong.
[144.16] Andy: But you know, we need to get, we need to get the podcast.
[146.56] Andy: We need to get the podcast out.
[148.32] Andy: They had quite a lot of use anyway.
[150.8] Tony: I know. I just worry that we gained a lot of subscribers for that.
[155.52] Tony: So thanks for that.
[156.32] Andy: Well, that's, that's what I was aiming for. So no problem.
[159.36] Jack: All right.
[159.68] Jack: So this, let's talk about what's really important.
[161.92] Jack: David Windestill and Chad Caput together on the same stream.
[165.44] Jack: Holy shit.
[167.12] Windestål: I didn't even know that you were coming on, Chad.
[170.16] Windestål: I didn't even know I was coming on.
[175.12] Jack: Welcome to Let's Drone Out, David.
[178.48] Jack: I thought you understood that, you know, you always have to tolerate me when you're in my company.
[184.0] Windestål: Yeah, that's, oh my gosh.
[186.72] Jack: You never, you never know what you're going to get.
[188.96] Jack: You never know what's going to happen to you.
[191.04] Jack: Poor David.
[191.92] Jack: He was being dragged around like a reluctant pet dog.
[196.24] Jack: You could literally call him Snuffles or Snowball if he doesn't want to be known by his pet slave name.
[202.64] Windestål: Oh, let's not go there.
[208.16] Windestål: No, I had a great time being in the UK. It was really nice.
[212.72] Windestål: I actually enjoyed it, except for the bed that...
[216.48] Jack: I'm sorry.
[217.68] Jack: I know.
[219.6] Windestål: I smashed that bed with a hammer.
[221.52] Windestål: Oh, you did?
[222.32] Jack: It's gone. It's gone now.
[224.0] Jack: Chloe took it away.
[225.6] Jack: It's gone.
[226.64] Jack: It will never see the light of day again.
[228.88] Jack: I'm really sorry about that.
[230.16] Andy: You guys were sharing a bed together.
[232.24] Jack: Yeah.
[235.68] Windestål: It wasn't rated for 200 kilos.
[237.84] Jack: He didn't like me being the little spoon.
[240.72] Tony: I like Chad's.
[241.6] Tony: Chad's got his name under his...
[243.68] Tony: That's cool.
[245.52] Tony: Chad, talk.
[247.68] Chad K: Can you see?
[248.48] Chad K: Hi.
[249.2] Chad K: I've got my name.
[250.4] Tony: Oh, wow.
[251.04] Tony: How do you do that?
[252.48] Tony: That is cool.
[252.96] Chad K: Use toolbox.
[253.84] Chad K: So go over to the left of the screen.
[256.08] Tony: Do the hangout.
[256.64] Tony: I'm all going to do this now.
[259.76] Jack: Oh, man.
[260.56] Jack: I can't be arsed to do that.
[261.68] Tony: Hangout toolbox.
[262.96] Tony: Then what?
[264.24] Tony: I'm doing it now.
[265.52] Jack: I haven't got mine.
[266.72] Chad K: Put your name and your tagline,
[268.32] Chad K: and there's a little switch up in the upper right,
[271.04] Chad K: like a little slide switch.
[272.56] Tony: My God, I think I'm going to...
[273.76] Jack: Please set yours to Tony Belend.
[278.0] Tony: I'm going to take mine in a minute.
[279.36] Tony: Please!
[279.84] Tony: I'm not doing it.
[281.2] Tony: Keep trying.
[282.0] Tony: I'm doing it.
[282.88] Tony: Oh, mate.
[283.6] Tony: My birthday is moving.
[285.04] Tony: You've got to be actually my birthday from Saturday.
[289.6] Tony: How have you done that?
[290.64] Tony: When I went to it, it went toolbox hangout.
[294.8] Tony: It says choose a count.
[297.84] Jack: Yeah.
[298.88] Tony: Then what?
[300.4] Jack: Choose a what?
[301.2] Frank: Just enable the lower third
[302.96] Frank: on the top right of the screen.
[306.0] Jack: Have you tried?
[307.12] Frank: We're very distracted.
[308.24] Frank: This is what you get.
[309.04] Tony: Ethan, where did your video go?
[310.48] Tony: We're sorry.
[312.24] Tony: Mine's just got a yellow line going across the screen,
[314.88] Tony: and I can't see anyone anymore.
[316.56] Tony: Anyway.
[317.04] Jack: Let's just wait here and wait for Tony to finish.
[322.0] Tony: I'm an idiot.
[322.48] Tony: I won't get it working.
[324.24] Jack: Oh, my God.
[324.96] Jack: It's like your grandfather, isn't it?
[326.56] Jack: When you had the remote control,
[328.24] Jack: and instantly, like, you know,
[330.88] Jack: like you get the dual, like DVD player.
[333.28] Jack: Why doesn't the DVD player work?
[335.52] Jack: Because you've got a different brand of DVD player, right?
[338.8] Windestål: This is the most disorganized podcast in the world.
[341.92] Windestål: Yeah, but that's how we like it.
[343.52] Windestål: It's how we roll.
[345.2] Windestål: This one makes it different.
[346.96] Windestål: But you're not on V8 now, all right?
[350.24] Windestål: Gosh, damn it.
[351.6] Tony: You're very special.
[353.76] Tony: We both are.
[355.84] Tony: Yeah, I can't get it to work.
[357.04] Tony: It just doesn't work.
[358.72] Jack: Oh, my God.
[359.84] Jack: How's the Rocket RC car?
[362.16] Windestål: Oh, it's going to crash the bits now, isn't it?
[365.52] Windestål: Yeah, it's not feeling too good.
[367.76] Windestål: I've been up for like 20 hours straight editing that video.
[371.28] Jack: Oh, my God.
[372.56] Windestål: Yeah, I'm dead.
[374.4] Windestål: It was fun, though.
[376.0] Windestål: It turned out really good, didn't it?
[377.68] Windestål: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[378.56] Jack: I haven't watched it yet.
[379.6] Jack: Oh, no, is it out?
[381.04] Jack: Yeah.
[381.52] Jack: Oh, no.
[382.56] Jack: Tony was watching it.
[383.36] Andy: I haven't seen you so far.
[384.8] Andy: I watched it just, yeah.
[386.48] Andy: I assumed that the videos were sort of loaded up
[389.2] Andy: weeks in advance.
[390.4] Andy: But I guess you're just uploading them as you do them, David.
[393.36] Jack: Oh, sounds suspiciously like,
[395.68] Jack: as organized as this podcast.
[397.92] Windestål: Yeah, but you don't see it.
[399.76] Windestål: That's the difference.
[401.76] Windestål: We're honest.
[402.8] Jack: We're good, honest people.
[404.8] Windestål: That is true.
[405.84] Jack: Yeah, you know.
[408.0] Jack: Yeah, they know it's run by idiots.
[410.48] Jack: It always has been.
[412.32] Tony: Freaking.
[412.64] Tony: That's what makes it different.
[416.0] Jack: In fact, I didn't plan absolutely anything.
[419.44] Jack: All I did was speak to Chad and be like,
[421.2] Jack: Chad, come on.
[421.84] Jack: David's got no idea.
[423.52] Jack: And that's my preparation, really.
[427.44] Jack: I kind of rely on.
[428.48] Jack: I might as well just sign everything over to Frank now, really.
[431.68] Tony: We've got a shout out by Harry Haggis, FPV.
[434.96] Tony: David, can you give us a rocket knife?
[436.88] Chad K: Yeah, put my make one.
[438.32] Tony: A rocket knife!
[444.48] Tony: That was really good.
[446.4] Jack: What was your opinion like when you saw David first do the rocket knife?
[451.92] Jack: Because my first initial thought was he's going to cut his knob off.
[458.0] Jack: That was it.
[459.6] Jack: I was like, David, please don't cut your dick off.
[463.04] Chad K: No, I thought it was great.
[465.36] Chad K: And it's exactly the kind of thing I expect from David.
[467.68] Chad K: But I was pretty sure he wasn't going to cut his knob off.
[472.24] Jack: I don't know.
[472.96] Jack: I mean, one of the comments I did write, what the hell is wrong with you?
[477.92] Jack: And then he sarcastically wrote back, there's too much to list.
[482.72] Jack: It's easier to list what's right with me.
[486.72] Jack: And then people assume that I'm bullying David and then I defend him.
[492.4] Jack: I'm like, David, David's the one with the rocket knife.
[496.16] Jack: He can defend himself, trust me.
[498.4] Jack: I was expected to get rocket and knife to sleep.
[504.0] Chad K: The Barbie episode's my favorite.
[506.0] Chad K: Oh, yeah?
[506.88] Chad K: Oh, yeah.
[507.92] Jack: It was really cute watching him and his brother have playtime together once again.
[512.32] Jack: You know what I mean?
[513.12] Windestål: I was like, oh, yeah, my brother said it's like exactly what we wanted to do
[518.88] Windestål: when we were kids, but now we can actually do it.
[521.6] Windestål: And yeah, too ashamed of it.
[526.88] Chad K: Now that you're adult men, completely fine.
[530.48] Jack: With your own money to buy Barbies and, you know, gender fluidness.
[536.56] Jack: Yeah, I'm married.
[538.72] Jack: I'm allowed to be a bit strange.
[540.4] Jack: It doesn't matter anymore.
[543.92] Jack: Bless.
[544.88] Windestål: Yep.
[545.52] Windestål: I'm good.
[546.0] Windestål: I'm all good.
[546.96] Jack: Yep.
[547.68] Jack: Oh, man.
[548.48] Jack: Have you been tempted to...
[550.8] Jack: I was going to say, you're tempted to build one of those giant Lego models and rocket knife them.
[555.84] Chad K: Not where I thought that question was going.
[558.32] Jack: I think that was pretty good.
[561.2] Windestål: I already have two.
[562.96] Windestål: Super Star Destroyer, which is 3,000 pieces, something.
[567.12] Windestål: Three and a half thousand.
[569.52] Windestål: I'll have a Lego Porsche as well.
[571.84] Jack: Oh, man.
[572.4] Jack: The Lego Porsche might get it.
[574.56] Windestål: It's going to be smooshed.
[576.88] Jack: I know.
[577.36] Windestål: I'm going to smash.
[578.56] Windestål: So I'm going to make a flat piece and do like the vanishing car in Mythbusters.
[584.72] Windestål: Recreate that.
[585.76] Jack: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[587.2] Windestål: Take care.
[588.16] Jack: Oh, man.
[588.64] Jack: That's awesome.
[590.0] Jack: What have you been up to, Chad?
[591.92] Chad K: Oh, you know, not much.
[596.72] Chad K: Just trying to deal with the fluctuating temperament and mood of the mini quad world.
[602.72] Jack: Mate, why is the Rotorite group so volatile?
[611.68] Jack: I've never seen a more friendly but scarier place.
[616.16] Jack: In fact, 4chan makes more sense than that forum.
[620.64] Jack: It is totally...
[622.88] Chad K: Well, you probably haven't been in the past couple of weeks then,
[627.2] Chad K: because we've really put some effort into turning things around.
[632.08] Chad K: But I didn't answer...
[632.72] Chad K: Like what?
[633.2] Chad K: Give out free drugs.
[636.0] Chad K: That helps.
[637.92] Chad K: No, no.
[639.68] Chad K: Well, I got to give a lot of credit to Lance and Andre, two of our admins.
[645.44] Chad K: I participate in the group, but I leave the running of the group mostly up to the admin group.
[650.16] Chad K: So we hired three new admins.
[652.0] Chad K: Not when I say hired, volunteer admins.
[656.16] Chad K: I think we have a total of 11 admin moderators.
[661.28] Chad K: And they have been given explicit instructions to use brute force to make people nice.
[670.8] Chad K: And it's been quite effective.
[674.32] Chad K: This is the Facebook group, is it, Chad?
[676.56] Andy: The Facebook group you're talking about.
[678.72] Chad K: Yes, yes.
[681.36] Chad K: And I think the reason...
[685.04] Chad K: I think we're just...
[686.4] Chad K: I'm not sure.
[687.04] Chad K: I think we're the biggest group.
[688.96] Chad K: And I know a lot of people will join our group just because they think it's the biggest.
[694.96] Chad K: So when you get a hodgepodge of people that just want to be there because it's the biggest,
[699.52] Chad K: you're going to have a lot of different personalities.
[701.92] Chad K: It's not like we filter the personalities.
[705.44] Chad K: We try to keep hot of it, spammers and all of that.
[710.08] Chad K: But if somebody legitimately wants to be there, we don't tell them no.
[714.56] Chad K: But we have tried things.
[715.84] Chad K: I mean, it's a secret group.
[718.08] Chad K: It's a secret, unadvertised group that has 22,000 members.
[722.8] Chad K: I mean, so...
[724.96] Jack: What were you running?
[725.92] Jack: Some sort of speakeasy or something?
[728.24] Chad K: I guess.
[731.04] Chad K: Digital speakeasy.
[732.56] Jack: 22.
[733.28] Jack: And we advertise this podcast.
[735.44] Jack: We pay money to try and get people to...
[738.96] Jack: I mean, mind you, yeah, I don't think as bad as that forum is,
[746.0] Jack: I don't think it's a forward torture.
[748.48] Jack: I don't know.
[751.52] Jack: But bless you.
[752.4] Jack: Well, is it quite nice being on a show where you haven't been asked about a van or a mustache yet?
[757.52] Jack: Well, there it goes.
[758.8] Jack: I didn't ask anything about it.
[760.32] Jack: I asked, you know, is it nice being on a show where we don't actually give a...
[766.08] Chad K: No.
[767.92] Chad K: Well, that's great.
[769.76] Chad K: I love chatting with any of my friends in the industry,
[772.48] Chad K: especially when I don't get to see you guys.
[774.64] Chad K: But once every six months.
[777.68] Jack: Yeah, I know.
[778.32] Jack: Like, well, you know, it's your charity work, isn't it, really?
[781.6] Jack: It's like me and Tony, you get like a little ticket.
[784.56] Jack: It's like day release, gets to go to the zoo.
[787.12] Jack: Also, when you said hodgepodge, I twinged a bit because of David.
[791.04] Jack: I thought you were going to say Hufflepuff.
[796.16] Jack: Every time.
[796.8] Jack: He's ruined Harry Potter.
[799.28] Tony: We can't hear you, David.
[801.2] Frank: I've got controls.
[801.92] Frank: What do you want?
[802.96] Jack: I just present David to everyone.
[805.6] Jack: Oh, sweet shout.
[806.48] Frank: We can't hear you.
[808.64] Jack: Just because you're trying to talk louder doesn't mean we can hear you.
[814.64] Tony: I'm going to ask...
[818.88] Jack: And select what input your voice goes into.
[826.0] Jack: Who's Hufflepuff now?
[828.08] Jack: I haven't got a problem with my sound.
[829.6] Jack: I've got a camera.
[830.64] Andy: It's like watching the sign language person in the corner, you know, sort of signing.
[839.12] Tony: Come on, David.
[840.32] Jack: That's the C word in sign language, by the way.
[844.72] Tony: Chad, Chad, I've never seen him in that boat.
[847.52] Tony: I've got...
[848.32] Tony: Chad, we've got...
[849.28] Tony: We've got...
[849.68] Tony: Where the heck?
[850.32] Tony: Well, I can hear you, David.
[852.8] Tony: There we go.
[853.84] Tony: Wait, no, he's back.
[855.04] Tony: Yeah.
[855.52] Tony: No, really?
[856.64] Tony: I didn't do anything.
[857.52] Tony: We can hear you.
[858.0] Tony: You heard everything said.
[859.84] Tony: Oh, oh, oh.
[861.84] Jack: He's cutting me out.
[865.28] Jack: Also, my second favourite is the sign language for Jizz.
[874.88] Andy: That's a self-explanatory myth.
[878.24] Andy: We've got like the biggest pioneers of like FPV and quadcopters,
[882.16] Andy: and you're telling us the sign for Jizz.
[885.36] Jack: No, because I know there's someone watching this, right, who said to me, quote, unquote,
[892.4] Jack: I would never speak to Chad like that.
[894.56] Jack: You've really offended him.
[897.84] Jack: You know, like you've got to put some effort into offend Chad.
[900.48] Jack: I don't know whether you've noticed his forum of hate, you know,
[904.4] Jack: like you've actually like got to be like burning his house down,
[908.48] Jack: you know, taped his grandmother up and poking here with bamboo sticks or something.
[914.64] Jack: Huh?
[915.6] Chad K: He's dead.
[916.56] Tony: No, sorry.
[922.72] Tony: We need to...
[924.08] Jack: She won't mind as much then.
[925.52] Tony: We need to rename this.
[928.48] Tony: Chad, will Bot Grinder be on more episodes?
[932.0] Tony: That is from Mikey Dred in a chat.
[934.32] Chad K: I think absolutely.
[935.52] Chad K: I love Bot Grinder.
[936.96] Chad K: I think he makes me laugh, and he's a genuinely good person.
[941.68] Chad K: Like, you know, people want to critique him for whatever reasons,
[946.16] Chad K: but he's a great student.
[947.6] Chad K: You know, in flight tests, we always had Joshua Scott,
[949.92] Chad K: who was kind of our perpetual student.
[952.48] Chad K: And I don't know if he's a perpetual student, but I think he's a great learner.
[957.68] Chad K: And I think a lot of people like to see someone learn something from the guys on the show.
[963.6] Windestål: Yeah, it doesn't seem like he's...
[966.16] Windestål: Like, he can show that he doesn't know, which is very unusual for these kinds of personas.
[978.16] Chad K: You chose your words well.
[980.48] Windestål: Yeah, that's why it took so long to get them out of my mouth.
[986.32] Andy: Sorry, hon.
[989.44] Andy: I don't understand personas.
[991.28] Tony: What kind of personas?
[995.68] Jack: He reminds me of a very angry robot
[998.88] Jack: that was annoyed that he didn't get fully programmed.
[1004.32] Jack: That's my personality view of Bot Grinder.
[1008.4] Chad K: Oh, wow.
[1009.68] Jack: Yeah, very angry, but, you know, obviously, he was a robot programmed for good.
[1015.44] Chad K: Very happy human being.
[1017.28] Jack: Yeah.
[1020.88] Frank: There's a question in the chat from Zero.
[1023.12] Frank: David, I've heard you that you're not allowed to shave until
[1025.44] Frank: the final season of Game of Thrones is done shooting.
[1029.2] Windestål: That is correct.
[1032.4] Windestål: I'm an extra.
[1033.68] Windestål: I'm a stand-in for Jon Snow, but he doesn't have a beard.
[1038.96] Windestål: Crap.
[1040.08] Windestål: Ah, quick.
[1041.68] Jack: Take that one, Hufflepuff.
[1045.84] Jack: David's sorting hat, right?
[1047.44] Jack: Ready?
[1048.08] Jack: Frank, what is he going?
[1049.92] Andy: I think it's a Harry Potter thing, but I'm not following it.
[1053.52] Windestål: Okay, so Frank is probably slithering.
[1058.72] Windestål: Yay, I'll do that.
[1059.92] Jack: Andy Offie?
[1062.32] Windestål: Ah, he seems like a Hufflepuff.
[1064.8] Jack: Hey, he's in with me.
[1066.48] Jack: Chad Capper?
[1068.08] Windestål: The Ravenclaw.
[1070.56] Jack: Oh.
[1076.56] Jack: Tony, I think we know.
[1078.32] Windestål: He's a Hufflepuff.
[1079.84] Jack: Oh, great.
[1081.36] Jack: I've stuck with him for all eternity.
[1085.36] Jack: Lee, come on.
[1088.24] Tony: It would be nice to meet you this weekend.
[1090.16] Jack: Oh, God.
[1091.28] Jack: Well, it's already not happened.
[1093.28] Jack: You don't know what's going to be written on your cake yet.
[1095.84] Jack: That's all I'm going to say.
[1097.2] Windestål: Oh, yeah.
[1097.76] Windestål: Happy birthday.
[1099.36] Windestål: Thank you, David.
[1102.48] Windestål: How far along are you?
[1106.16] Andy: David has the best way with words.
[1107.84] Andy: I was going to say, how old are you, Tony?
[1111.6] Jack: He is Swedish.
[1112.88] Jack: English isn't his first language.
[1114.24] Tony: 21 again.
[1115.52] Jack: No, you're not.
[1116.64] Tony: Times two and a bit more.
[1120.0] Tony: I know.
[1120.48] Tony: That's bad, isn't it?
[1122.48] Jack: He is.
[1126.0] Jack: One of my favourite insults of this week was,
[1128.96] Jack: I hope you have a stroke from over-drinking.
[1133.28] Tony: What's that mean?
[1140.19] Tony: That's not a happy birthday.
[1141.63] Tony: And it's not the type of music that Jack used to play.
[1144.75] Tony: Where's that coming from?
[1146.59] Jack: That's the traffic park theme, my friend.
[1149.95] Jack: Where's it coming from?
[1151.63] Tony: Frank question, I presume.
[1156.11] Tony: Yeah, it was.
[1156.91] Tony: Yeah, it was.
[1159.15] Tony: Some of the old podcasts, Jack had like four episodes
[1165.15] Tony: where he played this every time he talked to me.
[1170.43] Jack: Don't stop this.
[1172.11] Windestål: It means to get to the bit.
[1176.11] Windestål: Have you heard the flute version,
[1177.87] Windestål: the guy that plays it on the flute?
[1180.35] Jack: No, it's so good.
[1181.07] Jack: Link, link, stick it in the chat.
[1183.71] Windestål: To go here, play it as chads and questions in the meantime.
[1188.03] Tony: Yes, please do.
[1189.55] Tony: Can we have some people in the chat asking Chad Kapper
[1192.51] Tony: some questions and David, please,
[1194.35] Tony: before we keep playing, Don's or me?
[1197.95] Jack: I'm really sorry.
[1198.75] Jack: Look, I've got out of hospital today.
[1200.67] Jack: I feel like I've had to change my shirt.
[1203.39] Jack: And yeah, I'm just, I feel like I'm dying.
[1206.43] Frank: So on that note, Skeletor has asked in the chat
[1209.31] Frank: if you're going to jump out of a cake
[1211.47] Frank: for Tony's birthday in a mankini.
[1214.83] Jack: Yeah, can't get the mankini that could contain
[1220.11] Jack: the sheer level of, you know.
[1223.55] Tony: Please arm.
[1225.55] Jack: Yeah, and also trying to buy a cake
[1230.51] Jack: that's big enough to fit someone who's hairy
[1233.31] Jack: and as six foot two as I am.
[1235.39] Jack: I got size 11 shoes as well.
[1237.07] Jack: I might as well just put that out there
[1238.83] Jack: because, you know, like David, as you may know,
[1242.83] Jack: Tony's like giving out half my medical details and everything.
[1247.95] Jack: Like I'm still a little bit angry about that.
[1252.19] Jack: Anything else, Tony, do you want to give out my address?
[1255.15] Andy: I'm just, I'm just like, I'm proper freaking out
[1257.95] Andy: because like we've got Chad and David
[1260.59] Andy: and like I'm just like, I feel like the biggest fanboy
[1264.11] Andy: because like I have, I have like an RC channel
[1267.23] Andy: that literally I wouldn't be saying it wouldn't exist
[1270.91] Andy: if it wasn't for these two guys and, you know, flight test.
[1274.83] Andy: And honestly, like, I'm just like, so I don't,
[1278.83] Andy: I'm trying to sort of restrain from asking
[1281.95] Andy: all the stupid questions.
[1283.31] Andy: Ask some questions, do it.
[1284.75] Jack: No, Roy would not be sat here if it wasn't for those two.
[1288.43] Jack: I would not.
[1289.31] Jack: I don't think any of those would be.
[1291.39] Jack: You all wanted two daddies.
[1295.63] Andy: Oh my gosh.
[1296.99] Andy: I want to ask, okay, I want to ask if Chad and David
[1304.03] Andy: plan on working together on any videos
[1306.99] Andy: or any time in the future.
[1309.07] Andy: Yeah, again.
[1309.79] Andy: Chad.
[1312.11] Chad K: Before I ask the stupid question,
[1316.91] Chad K: I shouldn't just stay back here.
[1319.63] Chad K: No, we just had a conversation yesterday
[1321.63] Chad K: about that a little bit.
[1322.91] Chad K: So, you don't have to talk to each other.
[1328.03] Windestål: It's the first time in a, in a, yeah, quite a long time
[1332.35] Windestål: that we actually spoke on the phone.
[1335.31] Windestål: So that was nice.
[1336.51] Chad K: Yeah, it's about, at least I doubt we'd go over six months
[1339.63] Chad K: without talking, but we chat from time to time.
[1342.75] Jack: It's like an ex-girlfriend you kind of get along with, isn't it?
[1347.95] Chad K: No, I've been married for 20 years.
[1350.59] Jack: Yeah, true.
[1352.35] Jack: David could be, if there's anyone who's going to be
[1354.59] Jack: a bit on the side, it's going to be David.
[1358.51] Windestål: What? I don't even know how to take that.
[1362.03] Jack: I don't know about Drew.
[1364.59] Jack: Painless recently says, hello, guys, by the way.
[1367.95] Windestål: He's out of the way.
[1370.11] Jack: Am I right?
[1370.59] Jack: Anywhere.
[1370.91] Jack: Nice.
[1371.39] Jack: What?
[1371.87] Windestål: Yes.
[1372.43] Windestål: Say hi.
[1373.55] Jack: Hi.
[1376.91] Jack: Say hi.
[1378.35] Jack: Yeah, I know.
[1379.95] Jack: Oh, guys.
[1380.75] Jack: How did it go from having you two to Stefan?
[1386.59] Jack: Who does that?
[1388.19] Windestål: I haven't seen Stefan in a while.
[1389.63] Windestål: We're, what's he up to?
[1391.07] Chad K: On the last episode.
[1392.35] Windestål: Oh, he was?
[1392.99] Windestål: Oh, I didn't see that one yet.
[1395.63] Chad K: Well, it didn't go from us to Stefan.
[1397.71] Chad K: I mean, there's, you know, Peter is there.
[1400.27] Chad K: You got Alex.
[1401.47] Jack: You got Austin.
[1403.15] Jack: Man, I can't believe Peter's going to die soon.
[1405.79] Windestål: Yeah, I know.
[1406.59] Windestål: No, it's the same.
[1410.11] Windestål: Well, we chatted with them yesterday.
[1412.99] Jack: They've literally bought that puppy to, like, soothe their loss.
[1418.91] Frank: To give some context for someone who might not have.
[1421.87] Windestål: Oh, yeah, that's right.
[1422.83] Windestål: Okay, so, yeah, Peter's your pole.
[1426.19] Windestål: Is that right?
[1427.15] Windestål: Anyway, he's building his own ultralight aircraft using RC methods,
[1434.75] Windestål: where it is.
[1435.31] Windestål: So, it's a foam aircraft.
[1438.35] Windestål: And a full-scale.
[1440.75] Windestål: It's a full-scale foam aircraft from, like, almost everything is from Lowe's.
[1447.07] Windestål: Wow.
[1447.95] Windestål: The hardware store.
[1449.07] Windestål: It's pretty, it's crazy.
[1450.83] Windestål: It's awesome.
[1451.71] Windestål: But he seemed to know what he's doing, but still.
[1455.79] Jack: The amount of gorilla glue, you know what I mean?
[1459.55] Windestål: He's glassing it.
[1461.15] Windestål: He glassed it.
[1462.11] Windestål: So, it's fine.
[1463.55] Windestål: He's not going to crash now.
[1464.99] Tony: That sounds really scary.
[1467.55] Tony: Another question quickly for Chad.
[1469.63] Tony: Will you be releasing the new hype train colors that, you know,
[1474.99] Tony: you posted on Facebook, right?
[1480.75] Chad K: Yeah, right now, the plan is we're doing another version.
[1486.75] Chad K: I can't release the specs yet, just because we haven't locked them in.
[1489.47] Chad K: But it'll be gold, and it will be an Amagad edition.
[1494.19] Chad K: And it'll be tuned to Tommy's specs.
[1498.75] Jack: Did you give in to those terrorists?
[1501.95] Jack: Speaking about the hype train motors.
[1506.05] Jack: Yeah, the what?
[1508.13] Jack: Did you give in to the terrorists?
[1509.65] Chad K: Oh, yes.
[1511.09] Chad K: Well, we sent them a sticker, and they were fine.
[1514.61] Jack: Wow, is that all it takes?
[1516.45] Jack: Yeah.
[1517.33] Jack: Man, how do you find a guy's life worth this sticker?
[1521.01] Chad K: Well, that was a lot of motors.
[1523.25] Jack: Yeah, that was.
[1524.13] Jack: But, God, they're savages, man.
[1526.93] Jack: I'm glad you didn't bend too far.
[1529.89] Jack: Jason Cross goes, Chad, how does Dribb describe his time at Rotoraya is going?
[1537.09] Jack: Surely, we would ask the Dribb, but he refuses to come on here because I'm an asshole.
[1543.41] Jack: No, for real.
[1545.25] Tony: No, it's true.
[1546.69] Jack: For real.
[1547.57] Jack: I've got Facebook.
[1549.17] Jack: He says I'm intolerable.
[1551.73] Chad K: Really?
[1552.13] Chad K: It's true.
[1552.77] Jack: Yeah.
[1553.89] Chad K: Well, I didn't know that.
[1555.25] Jack: And stubborn.
[1557.65] Jack: Yeah.
[1558.29] Jack: Wait.
[1558.53] Jack: I don't blame him.
[1559.33] Windestål: It's true.
[1560.29] Windestål: It's true.
[1561.33] Windestål: Yeah.
[1561.81] Windestål: Me.
[1564.45] Jack: Yeah, both then.
[1565.57] Jack: Yeah.
[1566.13] Jack: I'm not budging.
[1567.65] Jack: Wait, now what was the question?
[1570.93] Jack: How do you reckon he's finding his time on Rotoraya?
[1573.57] Jack: I think that's what it's saying.
[1574.77] Jack: How does Dribb describe his time at Rotoraya is going?
[1581.25] Chad K: Well, I think at this point, it's a little rough, but he's doing awesome.
[1589.89] Chad K: He's got an amazing work ethic.
[1593.65] Chad K: He's very driven and wants to make great content.
[1599.57] Chad K: I have this whole theory about these few episodes that have created so much turmoil.
[1605.49] Chad K: I think if they were released a year and a half ago,
[1607.89] Chad K: there wouldn't be a single problem.
[1609.17] Chad K: People would absolutely love them.
[1611.09] Chad K: But because people saw it as the OG guys going away for some reason,
[1619.25] Chad K: they got all upset and just started.
[1621.57] Chad K: And whatever those first five comments are, that's what everything else becomes.
[1625.97] Jack: So you know what you should do?
[1628.45] Jack: Release those motors as sharp jumpers.
[1635.09] Jack: That's a big version.
[1636.45] Jack: Yeah, sharp jumpers.
[1641.33] Tony: Andy, I see a question there in the bottom of the chat.
[1645.17] Tony: What's that?
[1647.25] Tony: Andy, I see any more fixed-wing stuff or is it all quads at the moment?
[1652.37] Andy: I want to do more fixed-wing stuff, but I think like most people,
[1657.57] Andy: we do quads because they take up less space.
[1660.45] Andy: That's the thing with fixed-wing.
[1661.73] Andy: For me, I don't have a lot of space.
[1664.13] Andy: I mean, I did fixed-wing for years.
[1668.69] Andy: I think a lot of people are doing wings at the moment.
[1670.61] Andy: You're doing wings, aren't you, Tony?
[1674.85] Andy: I might do some stuff on wings,
[1676.21] Andy: but again, you need more space to fly them as well as to store them.
[1681.41] Andy: I'll always do fixed-wing stuff though,
[1683.09] Andy: because I find fixed-wing so much easier to fly than quads.
[1687.65] Andy: Quads is like a new thing for everyone, I guess, fairly new.
[1691.17] Andy: But yeah, I want to do more fixed-wing stuff, yeah.
[1695.09] Jack: Jason Croft says,
[1696.21] Jack: Andy, I see we need more 360 videos, bitch.
[1699.73] Andy: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[1701.09] Andy: I'm waiting.
[1702.45] Andy: I want to get the GoPro Fusion.
[1705.33] Andy: I don't know if any of you guys have seen.
[1708.53] Andy: There's like a GoPro coming out with a 360 camera and I think...
[1712.13] Bixler: No, really?
[1714.13] Andy: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[1715.33] Andy: Look it up.
[1715.89] Jack: It's called the GoPro.
[1717.57] Jack: David's already planning to strap it to a rocket.
[1721.97] Windestål: Oh, you mean, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[1725.17] Windestål: The rocket on the sled, yes, yes.
[1728.45] Andy: So the 360 camera that I've got,
[1732.37] Andy: it's called the Meteor.
[1734.13] Andy: It's made by Xiaomi and it's got a built-in gyro.
[1738.05] Andy: And so it always knows which way is up.
[1742.21] Andy: So it self-stabilizes now that the GoPro one isn't going to do that.
[1745.73] Andy: But I think as soon as GoPro released this Fusion 360 camera,
[1750.85] Andy: we're going to see it everywhere.
[1752.13] Andy: Because when I released my video of that,
[1755.09] Andy: people were like, this is going to change FPV
[1757.81] Andy: because you can literally just spin around whatever you can see.
[1761.49] Andy: Holy cow, it is not cheap.
[1765.89] Andy: No, that's the issue.
[1767.41] Andy: Yeah, that's the issue.
[1769.73] Windestål: It is two arms and four legs.
[1773.25] Jack: That is a lot of cocaine and whores.
[1778.85] Windestål: It's in Swedish too.
[1780.21] Windestål: No, it's $7,599.
[1784.77] Tony: Both side in real money.
[1787.89] Tony: I don't know.
[1788.37] Windestål: I can't access the US store.
[1790.21] Andy: I don't think you can buy it yet.
[1791.81] Andy: That's not real money.
[1794.77] Andy: Schmeckles.
[1795.73] Andy: From what I know, it was sent out to a bunch of vloggers and big YouTubers.
[1801.57] Tony: Oh, it's five grand.
[1803.73] Andy: What?
[1803.97] Andy: Oh, no, you're right.
[1806.61] Windestål: It has to be like $9.99 or something.
[1810.29] Chad K: $6.99.
[1811.41] Windestål: What?
[1811.65] Chad K: How much?
[1812.93] Chad K: $6.99.
[1814.05] Windestål: What?
[1814.37] Windestål: $700 or...
[1815.81] Windestål: Eh, it's not too bad.
[1817.01] Andy: That's a little bit better if you think you're getting...
[1819.41] Andy: Well, it produces 6K video.
[1822.29] Andy: So it's like, what?
[1823.89] Andy: You're talking like five GoPros.
[1825.89] Andy: So it's cheaper than taking like five GoPros and making a...
[1829.57] Windestål: So now I'm putting them upon a car and then crashing?
[1832.05] Windestål: Yeah, sure.
[1832.61] Tony: Yeah, exactly.
[1833.41] Tony: I've got to upgrade my TV from 4K to 6K now.
[1837.89] Andy: No, the reason why it needs to be in 6K is because it's 360,
[1842.37] Andy: but you're only viewing like 1080p at a time.
[1845.65] Jack: Oh, God, mate.
[1846.69] Jack: You're going to need a whiteboard and a pen.
[1850.93] Andy: But I tell you, the camera that I've been using,
[1852.77] Andy: it's called the Xiaomi Mijia.
[1854.29] Andy: It's about...
[1855.09] Andy: I think it's about $250.
[1858.05] Andy: It's great.
[1858.93] Andy: It's really good.
[1859.41] Jack: I know you say it knows which way is up,
[1862.13] Jack: but I give David about a point of a second to break the Exeterometer.
[1869.81] Andy: It's really buggy.
[1871.89] Andy: It's really buggy, but it's good.
[1878.37] Frank: So, Chad, the third person view drifting video,
[1883.49] Frank: that seems to go pretty well, down pretty well.
[1886.29] Chad K: Yeah, yeah, I think...
[1888.93] Chad K: I remember mentioning something like that.
[1891.25] Chad K: What's the metric of doing well?
[1894.61] Jack: Well, I think...
[1895.33] Jack: Not being on fire, not being screwed, no one died.
[1900.29] Chad K: Yeah, pretty much.
[1902.77] Chad K: Well, because if you're going by view count,
[1906.37] Chad K: the ones with all the scathing comments have more views.
[1910.53] Chad K: You go by comments that they still win.
[1914.13] Chad K: So, I think it's weird that people ask how it does,
[1919.25] Chad K: it's so subjective, because what they're doing
[1921.65] Chad K: is they're reading some of the most popular comments
[1924.29] Chad K: and then developing an opinion on...
[1927.49] Chad K: So, I think it did well because it had more likes than dislikes, but...
[1933.17] Jack: I don't know.
[1934.13] Jack: Do you know what I would do?
[1935.17] Jack: You know all the people you've banned from the forum?
[1937.97] Jack: Wait to them.
[1939.09] Jack: You go on the latest Rotoraya episode,
[1942.37] Jack: as soon as it's released within the first 20 minutes
[1944.61] Jack: and write something positive,
[1946.21] Jack: you earn your way back into the group.
[1949.81] Jack: And then that way, it's like Joshua Bardwell,
[1952.93] Jack: you're going to learn something today.
[1954.45] Jack: And you're like, yes, yes, Joshua Bardwell,
[1956.45] Jack: I'm going to learn something today.
[1959.01] Jack: Even though you might already know it.
[1963.81] Andy: Are you saying this, Jack, because you're banned
[1965.81] Andy: and trying to find a way to get back there?
[1970.29] Jack: No, I don't.
[1971.09] Jack: I am too scared to write anything.
[1973.33] Jack: I am way too much of a pussy to write anything.
[1976.45] Jack: I prefer everyone not know who I am in that forum,
[1980.69] Jack: because as soon as I find out half the shit I say,
[1983.41] Jack: I'm going to let you drone out, man.
[1984.85] Jack: There's going to be pitch force, and he's banned from America.
[1987.81] Jack: In fact, Trump will probably nuke me.
[1992.13] Jack: David.
[1994.37] Jack: David, any plans to make more story type videos like the Tank ones?
[1998.05] Jack: I love them and would love to see more with Quads.
[2001.65] Jack: Watch the party.
[2005.01] Windestål: Yes, there's so much story in that video
[2008.21] Windestål: that you can watch it multiple times and find new facets
[2011.73] Windestål: and underlaying a hundred.
[2015.73] Windestål: Subtext.
[2018.69] Windestål: No, yeah, I'll do more story videos,
[2021.01] Windestål: but they take so freaking much time to do an effort.
[2026.61] Windestål: But yes, I usually, the tradition started
[2031.09] Windestål: when I worked at an electronics company.
[2035.49] Windestål: We had a couple of weeks off during Christmas.
[2039.09] Windestål: So every year I shot a video during that time,
[2043.73] Windestål: which the first one was the, the first one that did well
[2047.65] Windestål: was the drone hunting hydrogen balloons and so on.
[2053.41] Windestål: So that was kind of a, yeah, tradition.
[2058.45] Windestål: So I tried to do it every year during that time
[2061.49] Windestål: because I can get help from friends then.
[2064.93] Chad K: Okay, here.
[2065.41] Tony: I do apologize if you're listening to this back on Soundcloud.
[2091.09] Jack: I'm not, I don't care.
[2094.05] Jack: Do you know what you should do is have that as a ringtone
[2097.09] Jack: and like out of context is a thing of nightmare feels.
[2101.81] Jack: They should have, that was probably the beginning of it.
[2104.77] Jack: You know what I mean?
[2105.49] Jack: It was just like there.
[2107.65] Jack: Dave, if you do make a new thing,
[2110.77] Jack: can I be a character called Hufflepuff and die?
[2115.01] Jack: Like I'm the one who's like do a barrel roll
[2117.25] Jack: and then I can fly backwards into something.
[2120.45] Windestål: I can think I can work here.
[2122.21] Jack: Yes.
[2122.85] Chad K: Did flight tests ever do finish the Star Fox episode?
[2127.81] Windestål: Yeah, no, not finish it,
[2129.73] Windestål: but they did do a vlog where it was in.
[2133.73] Windestål: Like they did old stuff.
[2135.97] Chad K: Did they show the footage?
[2138.21] Windestål: Yeah, they showed some of it.
[2141.25] Windestål: I couldn't.
[2141.73] Jack: Like they're scrambling or something
[2143.49] Jack: because I haven't seen it.
[2144.93] Windestål: No, it's early vlog where they dig into archives.
[2149.57] Chad K: Yeah, yeah, I want to see that.
[2151.65] Chad K: That was one, that's one, that's my only regret.
[2155.89] Chad K: Only regret?
[2157.17] Chad K: The last chat.
[2159.01] Windestål: That's a good regret to have.
[2166.53] Tony: Have you bought another TV since you've been on last?
[2172.05] Chad K: Another TV.
[2173.25] Tony: You buy old TVs, don't you?
[2175.25] Chad K: Oh, yeah, yeah, actually.
[2176.93] Tony: Well, I don't know if I have this one or not.
[2180.05] Jack: He's got quite a radio collection on the go now.
[2183.01] Tony: Who buys TV?
[2184.05] Tony: He likes old TV.
[2185.09] Chad K: It's a cappuccino.
[2189.89] Chad K: Yeah, that's the one I use my cappuccino vlog.
[2193.97] Chad K: The problem is, look, and I even asked Bardwell,
[2198.05] Chad K: see that power sign?
[2199.17] Chad K: Oh, what the heck?
[2201.17] Chad K: Yeah, so I don't know which one's which
[2202.93] Chad K: and I even took it apart.
[2205.25] Jack: That looks like a DC TV that goes in like a camper van or something.
[2210.53] Chad K: What?
[2211.17] Tony: TV camper van.
[2212.13] Jack: Yeah, camper van.
[2213.73] Chad K: There's some ideas as to how it works,
[2216.29] Chad K: but I don't want to plug it in and blow it up.
[2219.57] Chad K: But I don't have the core to it.
[2223.25] Tony: Maybe we can have a TV episode.
[2227.09] Windestål: So why is the Star Fox regret?
[2229.49] Windestål: And what is it?
[2231.09] Chad K: Oh, the Star Fox episode.
[2233.41] Chad K: We were going to recreate the Star Fox spaceship.
[2237.65] Chad K: Which we had a prototype, like a couple of different prototypes.
[2241.89] Windestål: What is this spaceship?
[2244.05] Windestål: Where does it come from?
[2245.73] Chad K: Oh, Star Fox.
[2249.25] Windestål: Which is an Nintendo 64 game.
[2251.73] Chad K: No, be out here.
[2253.49] Windestål: Yeah, it's an Nintendo 64 game.
[2255.65] Jack: The carrot of opportunity.
[2259.41] Windestål: Sorry, sorry.
[2260.37] Windestål: Okay, go, go, go.
[2261.65] Windestål: Yes.
[2262.45] Jack: So anyhow, it's a Nintendo game.
[2265.09] Jack: If you ever wondered how the original, sorry, Chad,
[2267.73] Jack: the original flight test used to be,
[2271.09] Jack: that is basically David.
[2273.33] Jack: Write plans for ages, organize, draw little storyboards,
[2278.21] Jack: and then when the shit really gets tough,
[2280.21] Jack: it's literally like this.
[2282.85] Jack: David, work in them like muppets.
[2288.37] Windestål: I'm sorry.
[2290.37] Windestål: It works though.
[2294.53] Chad K: Sorry, Chad, carry on.
[2295.97] Chad K: Every time we tried to plan, it got worse.
[2299.01] Chad K: It did.
[2301.09] Chad K: Oh my God.
[2301.65] Chad K: We have to save so many hours.
[2304.21] Chad K: You must stop planning.
[2305.81] Tony: We do.
[2306.69] Tony: We do have the same problem when we plan.
[2310.77] Chad K: So Jack, I want to go back and hear more about this Drib thing.
[2315.49] Jack: What?
[2317.97] Jack: I can't talk about it.
[2318.77] Jack: I can tell you after the show.
[2321.09] Jack: Wait, why can't you talk about it?
[2325.25] Jack: No, shut up, Tony.
[2331.66] Tony: Let's talk about it.
[2333.1] Jack: No, or you'll find a hand grenade in the middle of your cake.
[2339.34] Jack: I think you brought it up.
[2341.58] Windestål: Yeah, so yeah.
[2343.9] Jack: I've tried getting the Drib on.
[2345.82] Jack: He won't come on.
[2347.1] Jack: I've come off as an asshole.
[2349.26] Jack: I asked people, I asked someone close to me,
[2352.3] Jack: I was like, do I start this argument?
[2354.46] Jack: And they were like, no, let it go.
[2356.78] Jack: So the Drib will never come on.
[2359.1] Andy: But you met Drew in London, didn't you?
[2361.42] Jack: Yeah.
[2361.82] Jack: And then I asked, do you want to come on sometime?
[2363.98] Jack: And he said, yes.
[2365.9] Jack: Oh.
[2368.3] Jack: Dickens.
[2369.18] Jack: I know.
[2369.98] Jack: I'm not going to talk about it because it just means dragging people through the mud.
[2374.22] Jack: This is part of the charm of...
[2376.46] Jack: The weird thing is, he hasn't actually done anything wrong.
[2378.62] Jack: He just doesn't understand.
[2381.42] Chad K: Well, this is what I love about Roto Riot, though.
[2383.5] Chad K: Everybody has their own personalities and their own groups and circles.
[2389.26] Chad K: And yeah, we all, you know, the Roto Riot guys, obviously, all intermix.
[2394.14] Chad K: Yeah.
[2394.78] Chad K: It's, I like that everybody has their own personas, problems, issues.
[2402.86] Jack: Oh, I've got issues, mate.
[2404.3] Tony: You've got lots of that here.
[2405.34] Jack: Yeah.
[2406.3] Jack: Yeah, right next to me.
[2407.9] Jack: Him, yeah, in the salmon shirt.
[2410.3] Tony: Out there.
[2411.5] Jack: Salmon, it's not pink.
[2413.66] Jack: Anyway, Andy RC, are you going to do more long time flight micro build things?
[2419.26] Jack: Have the progress.
[2421.02] Jack: Why are all the questions for me?
[2423.26] Jack: Because they love you.
[2425.98] Andy: The answer is yes.
[2427.18] Andy: I'm waiting for stuff in the post.
[2428.78] Andy: I've got a lot of stuff that's lost in the post at the moment.
[2432.54] Andy: I don't know what's going on with my post.
[2434.22] Andy: People...
[2434.62] Jack: I know exactly what's going on in the post.
[2436.38] Jack: Your postman's had enough of bringing bloody packages to your house.
[2440.38] Jack: You think you're completely asshole.
[2443.98] Tony: Have you got a whole room, like full of cobs and planes?
[2447.82] Andy: No, no, I give a lot of stuff away.
[2451.98] Andy: I give stuff away to charity and I break a lot of stuff.
[2455.66] Andy: Like today...
[2456.7] Jack: Talk about Let's Drone Out, is this charity work with us to retards?
[2461.82] Jack: Am I allowed to say retards?
[2463.66] Jack: I guess, like mental capacity of me and Tony.
[2466.38] Jack: Yeah, I guess it's fine.
[2468.06] Andy: Anyways, anyways, the answer is yes, but I'm waiting for stuff in the post.
[2472.22] Andy: It's gotten lost, so I'm going to be doing...
[2474.46] Andy: Yeah, I'm going to be doing more.
[2476.14] Andy: Because that's the kind of stuff that I'm known for,
[2478.62] Andy: is doing the smaller stuff that's sort of less dangerous,
[2482.46] Andy: because everyone's scared of regulations here.
[2485.42] Andy: And so everyone wants...
[2487.02] Andy: Everyone's interested in these little tiny micro quads
[2489.98] Andy: that can sort of imitate what a five inch quad can do.
[2493.74] Andy: And those things are really popular at the moment.
[2497.66] Tony: Didn't you just upload a 6S video though?
[2503.02] Andy: I did, I did.
[2504.22] Andy: But you see, that's another thing that's happening as well.
[2509.02] Andy: These companies seem to be pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
[2512.86] Andy: So now they're releasing these models that are 3S to 6S compatible.
[2519.18] Andy: So even though 6S isn't really any use to anyone,
[2523.34] Andy: I thought I'd test it out.
[2525.1] Andy: So I took one of these, it's like a $200 ready to fly quadcopter.
[2530.54] Andy: And I've got it here actually.
[2533.1] Andy: 6S, which is bigger than the...
[2535.58] Andy: Taller and bigger than the quadcopter itself.
[2538.38] Andy: And it flew on it, and it still flies on it.
[2540.54] Andy: So components are getting pretty amazing, yes.
[2543.74] Andy: But I did get a lot of backlash on that because people were saying,
[2547.34] Andy: we should be going smaller.
[2548.86] Andy: And you know, you just put a 6S on a quadcopter.
[2552.14] Andy: So I can't win, but I'm here to test out the latest and greatest.
[2557.82] Tony: You say that, but apparently we in England
[2561.74] Tony: can race up to 6S now, I think.
[2565.02] Tony: Yeah, that's allowed.
[2567.34] Frank: I don't think it would give you too much advantage because...
[2570.7] Andy: They're so heavy.
[2572.06] Andy: They're really heavy on a 6S.
[2574.06] Andy: In fact, I've flown lighter models on a 4S with higher KV motors,
[2580.3] Andy: and it performs the same.
[2581.74] Andy: So, you know, we're sort of just messing around, I think.
[2584.78] Andy: And whoever can sort of make the components
[2588.38] Andy: that sort of will take the most amount of voltage,
[2592.7] Andy: this sort of winning kind of thing,
[2594.62] Andy: that's what I'm finding from the stuff I'm getting anyways.
[2598.46] Windestål: I think it's a shame that they don't do it from the view of efficiency.
[2605.74] Windestål: Everyone does 6S to get crazy power,
[2609.18] Windestål: but higher voltage means less current and more torque,
[2613.9] Windestål: which is really good, but no one does that.
[2617.42] Windestål: No motors are available that does that good.
[2621.58] Andy: From my experience, David, people only really care about numbers.
[2626.22] Andy: So, you know, if you've got a quad cup,
[2629.26] Andy: a 5-inch that is really powerful on 4S,
[2633.1] Andy: more powerful than a quad cup that you've put a 6S on.
[2637.1] Andy: In a lot of people's mindset, 6,
[2639.66] Andy: 6 because it's a higher number is better than 4.
[2643.42] Andy: Therefore, I want that one because it takes a 6.
[2646.3] Andy: But no, you're in.
[2648.06] Andy: Yeah, exactly.
[2650.62] Tony: I like what you mean.
[2651.58] Tony: I reckon we'll be going back to the Cobra 1960s soon
[2654.7] Tony: because we'll be able to fly longer.
[2657.74] Andy: Yeah, yeah.
[2659.02] Jack: Well, people are running...
[2659.82] Jack: I know my favourite motors.
[2661.98] Andy: People are running these 6S models on like 2100 kV,
[2666.54] Andy: so that's going back like a year or so now, isn't it?
[2670.14] Andy: You know, so it just cycles.
[2672.46] Andy: It just goes round, you know.
[2673.9] Andy: We'll stop soft mounting soon.
[2676.54] Andy: In three years' time, it'll come back.
[2678.54] Jack: I'm creating components onto the...
[2682.62] Jack: It's hard, man.
[2683.34] Andy: I want to say, though, thanks to last week's podcast,
[2687.58] Andy: Tony put me in contact with Matt from Microprops.
[2690.7] Andy: He's going to send me that little tricopter.
[2694.54] Andy: Sweet!
[2695.66] Andy: Yeah, because like that's the one thing
[2698.94] Andy: I have never flown a tricopter, which is just ridiculous.
[2703.18] Andy: Even though if I can call myself an RC channel,
[2706.46] Andy: having never flown a tricopter.
[2708.54] Jack: Yeah, don't go to the Hangout toolbox,
[2711.9] Jack: type in Andy RC, and then underneath it, put tricopter bigot.
[2719.66] Andy: No, listen, I just, you know, I've never...
[2722.62] Andy: I don't have any knowledge on it, you know, so I want to, though.
[2726.78] Jack: If Frank can do it, then...
[2729.18] Jack: Oh, no!
[2729.9] Tony: Okay!
[2731.98] Tony: Oh, who's that?
[2733.1] Tony: Oh, what are you doing?
[2739.02] Tony: What a cute doge.
[2743.42] Tony: Speak, speak.
[2745.82] Tony: Good boy.
[2747.74] Windestål: Andrew, what is that?
[2749.58] Windestål: The baby tricopter?
[2750.7] Windestål: Yeah, that's the baby tricopter.
[2752.7] Frank: Yeah, we've got the baby tricopter here.
[2754.62] Frank: The editor's got a long time.
[2755.82] Windestål: Oh, very nice, very nice.
[2757.34] Windestål: Have you tried the latest...
[2760.54] Windestål: Chad!
[2761.34] Chad K: Hold on, I'm trying.
[2762.94] Windestål: There we go.
[2765.42] Windestål: Have you tried the latest firmware for it?
[2769.26] Frank: Which one is the latest one?
[2770.22] Frank: I don't know.
[2770.62] Frank: I can't remember what.
[2771.18] Frank: I've got this one anyway, so it probably wouldn't help.
[2773.18] Frank: I've got it.
[2773.58] Frank: It's a beta.
[2774.38] Windestål: It is awesome.
[2775.82] Windestål: It has all kinds of fancy stuff that keeps the tail really locked in.
[2782.38] Frank: I will find that out and get hold of that.
[2786.46] Andy: I'm going to buy one of these.
[2787.74] Andy: I think I need to because it just looks fantastic.
[2791.66] Windestål: Send me a mail and we can sort something out.
[2794.14] Andy: Yeah, I want to do that.
[2795.5] Andy: I mean, I could never do like a build video as good as the one you did.
[2800.14] Andy: Like I was like sat there watching it.
[2802.7] Andy: But yeah, I really want to have a go at that.
[2808.14] Andy: Like I say, it's the number one request that I get.
[2810.46] Andy: There's a demand for tricopters out there.
[2813.18] Andy: Definitely.
[2813.66] Andy: I'll watch the video.
[2815.34] Jack: For a baby try, David in the chat.
[2817.82] Tony: I watched the video the other day with David and Chad Niagara Falls with a tricopter when
[2822.94] Tony: you were wearing your transmit mitts.
[2828.7] Tony: Yeah.
[2829.1] Windestål: Yeah.
[2830.06] Windestål: Oh my gosh.
[2830.7] Windestål: That was a few years ago.
[2832.62] Windestål: That was a few years ago.
[2833.9] Windestål: That was a really good story.
[2837.74] Windestål: Yeah, I wanted to go.
[2840.78] Tony: Yeah, you knocked something over, didn't you?
[2844.3] Tony: Or something fell over.
[2845.5] Windestål: It blew over.
[2846.62] Tony: Like the wind was so powerful that yeah, it just tipped over.
[2851.98] Tony: But was that the FBV feed?
[2854.22] Tony: Yes.
[2855.18] Tony: So could you not see or could you see but it was bad?
[2859.18] Tony: No, it pulled out the cable to the goggles.
[2864.14] Tony: So what did you do?
[2866.46] Tony: Panic, lift the goons up.
[2868.78] Windestål: Yeah, and Julie was really helpful and told me to go up.
[2873.02] Windestål: She's like, which way is up?
[2879.1] Jack: You have really big balls, David.
[2883.42] Jack: Big, massive, you know.
[2885.98] Tony: Because it was like snowing and it was minus God knows.
[2890.14] Jack: I'm surprised things don't all but your bollocks sometimes.
[2896.38] Jack: Yeah.
[2896.86] Windestål: I mean, they're sorted.
[2899.02] Jack: It's all about luck.
[2900.78] Jack: Recovering from that one, Gryffindor.
[2905.58] Chad K: You know what I remember from that episode?
[2908.62] Chad K: Trappies comment.
[2910.54] Chad K: What?
[2911.66] Chad K: It said you wasted the location.
[2914.62] Windestål: Oh, man, I didn't remember that.
[2917.42] Chad K: It made me mad.
[2919.5] Windestål: Oh, so he was a month back.
[2925.26] Windestål: Oh, really?
[2925.98] Windestål: Oh, I didn't know it was him.
[2927.74] Jack: Very nice.
[2929.34] Jack: Funny how he's mentioning that now when he's got like a 20,000 strong army.
[2935.82] Jack: On a like platform.
[2940.94] Windestål: Oh, no.
[2941.82] Windestål: Oh, no.
[2942.46] Windestål: Trumpy, no.
[2944.46] Windestål: I think we did the best we could at that location with the gear of the time.
[2949.34] Windestål: Oh, no.
[2949.82] Tony: Pretty good.
[2951.18] Tony: How many years ago was that?
[2952.62] Tony: Seven?
[2954.14] Tony: No, not seven.
[2956.54] Chad K: Maybe five or six.
[2957.98] Chad K: Yeah.
[2958.3] Tony: I'll check it.
[2959.66] Tony: Was FPV around then?
[2963.18] Jack: Yeah, of course.
[2964.22] Tony: Oh, yeah.
[2964.7] Windestål: Yeah.
[2965.1] Windestål: Have the huge ground stations.
[2966.86] Windestål: Oh, the first fat sharks went out then.
[2969.42] Windestål: So, yeah, we're all good.
[2970.86] Jack: Yeah, he had like, were they orange SEs or something then?
[2974.46] Windestål: No, I painted him.
[2975.58] Windestål: I took him apart and painted him in Chad's garage.
[2979.66] Jack: Yeah.
[2980.38] Jack: No, no, you painted them.
[2981.9] Jack: Yeah.
[2982.62] Jack: Orange.
[2984.06] Jack: Yeah, that's his little color.
[2987.42] Windestål: Yes.
[2988.3] Jack: Did you burn the tricopter for warmth afterwards?
[2992.78] Windestål: We went to the casino because I've never been to a casino before.
[2998.54] Chad K: Oh, that's right.
[3000.14] Windestål: Yeah.
[3000.46] Windestål: And we both took 50 bucks and said that we were going to...
[3006.22] Windestål: Yeah, that's what we're going to spend tonight.
[3009.02] Windestål: So, we went to the black jack wheel.
[3011.42] Windestål: Blackjack?
[3012.3] Windestål: Is that what it's called?
[3013.5] Windestål: Blackjack wheel.
[3014.7] Windestål: We'll throw cars into this.
[3018.06] Tony: Who's that all about now?
[3021.26] Windestål: It didn't sound cool.
[3023.42] Windestål: It didn't sound right.
[3026.7] Windestål: Roulette.
[3027.5] Windestål: Roulette.
[3028.06] Windestål: That's it.
[3028.7] Windestål: Yes.
[3030.14] Jack: And I started counting cars.
[3033.58] Windestål: That's why it didn't go too well, I guess.
[3036.14] Windestål: So, I threw everything down on red, 50 bucks on red.
[3042.38] Windestål: Everything in a day.
[3043.98] Windestål: And it turned out double zero.
[3045.9] Windestål: So, very poetic justice there.
[3049.58] Windestål: But Chad landed me 10 bucks of his and I got it back like a really good gambler.
[3059.66] Windestål: I still have that chip at home.
[3061.66] Windestål: So, that's a good story.
[3064.06] Windestål: Yeah, it was a 10 bucks one.
[3068.94] Windestål: Yeah.
[3069.42] Jack: No, you got to drill a little hole in it where it's a necklace, like a true friend token.
[3075.34] Jack: You know what I mean?
[3077.1] Jack: Or have it on your keys, a little key ring.
[3079.34] Tony: Yeah.
[3081.42] Tony: GT Welder has just put rocket powered tricopter.
[3085.66] Windestål: Yeah, there will be a rocket powered quad or tri.
[3089.74] Frank: And Sundance Squids said earlier in the chat, how about Rocket Knife versus an old CRT TV?
[3096.78] Windestål: Oh, actually that
[3100.78] Windestål: it is on the list.
[3103.66] Windestål: Oh, and it should be on.
[3106.06] Windestål: Pardon.
[3106.86] Windestål: That would be nice.
[3107.98] Chad K: Yes.
[3108.7] Windestål: Where's the coconut?
[3110.3] Windestål: It's coming.
[3111.58] Windestål: Jeez.
[3114.06] Jack: This is what happened.
[3115.34] Jack: This is what I've got to deal with, David, constantly.
[3119.26] Windestål: It's coming.
[3120.3] Windestål: It's the next time we shoot with the knife attached.
[3124.86] Jack: Have you used his sound bite yet?
[3128.7] Windestål: No, it's coming.
[3129.58] Windestål: I'm saving that for the freaking coconut.
[3131.82] Jack: Okay, cool.
[3134.94] Jack: One of David's fans here, Richard Hardwood said,
[3138.3] Jack: Jack, having size 11 shoes does help Stermie while flying FPV and would recommend clown boots.
[3146.38] Tony: But you know what?
[3148.38] Tony: You'd say clown boots with your hair and your attitude.
[3155.66] Jack: Yeah, that's the point.
[3156.86] Jack: We can announce it's now one month to go.
[3159.42] Jack: We're having Jack's going to get drunk.
[3161.74] Jack: I'm going to dress as Rick from Rick and Morty.
[3163.98] Jack: Tony's going to be Morty.
[3165.82] Jack: And I think Andy R.C. has to be ruffled.
[3171.58] Andy: As in the little dog.
[3173.58] Windestål: Yeah, yeah.
[3175.02] Windestål: When he's noob noob.
[3176.86] Windestål: Noob noob.
[3179.42] Tony: Imagine how bad it would be.
[3182.78] Tony: If you get invited on the 31st, no one come on.
[3187.74] Tony: You know what he's like when he's sober.
[3190.38] Tony: Can you imagine what he's like when he's sober?
[3192.46] Jack: He's going to have to be like a full on explicit warning and stuff.
[3197.34] Jack: He's going to go one or two ways.
[3198.86] Jack: It's either going to be, Tony, I hate you.
[3201.42] Jack: I'm going to burn your house down.
[3203.18] Jack: If I knew I was sober, I would drive to your house and burn your house.
[3206.78] Jack: Although it's going to be like, Tony, I love you.
[3208.78] Tony: No, I think it's going to be the love thing.
[3212.46] Tony: That would be a nice change, yeah.
[3216.7] Jack: I do kind of love him, but he's also incredibly intolerable.
[3220.7] Jack: It's like someone switched my toilet paper to sandpaper and didn't tell me.
[3228.22] Windestål: If you can't tell the difference before it's too late, you're very much Hufflepuff.
[3233.66] Jack: I'm wearing gloves and he's taking a light bulb out of my toilet.
[3240.7] Andy: Can I ask Chad a serious question, please?
[3243.34] Tony: Please do, because it's going off.
[3245.34] Andy: I want to ask about DR1.
[3248.46] Andy: Are there any plans for a sequel?
[3250.54] Andy: Because I haven't kept up on the news,
[3253.82] Andy: but I read somewhere that there were plans to carry that on.
[3258.94] Andy: Are there any plans for that?
[3262.3] Chad K: Let me put it this way.
[3263.98] Chad K: I'm sure in the future I would be open to it, but there are no immediate plans.
[3271.34] Chad K: So I'm not closing the door on it, but I'm busy right now.
[3277.34] Jack: This is why I keep my hobo look, so that I look all war ravaged and everything.
[3284.54] Windestål: You're going to be my standing?
[3285.9] Jack: Yeah, Lloyd.
[3287.74] Windestål: I'm doing it, guys.
[3289.5] Windestål: Oh, did you see the UK version?
[3293.58] Windestål: Oh my gosh, it's so good.
[3295.5] Jack: What did I do?
[3298.06] Windestål: No, they changed the cover for it.
[3306.46] Chad K: Oh, look at that.
[3311.9] Chad K: No, the distribution company made some stupid poster that has...
[3317.98] Chad K: Hold on, I don't know if I can find it.
[3320.06] Windestål: I'll see if I can find it.
[3323.68] Andy: Now it's going to be quite low research.
[3326.32] Windestål: Talk about yourself.
[3328.72] Andy: I love that.
[3329.36] Andy: I watched it every time when it was released in segments.
[3333.36] Andy: I watched the individual segments.
[3335.6] Jack: I was there, I got the email saying it's going to go...
[3341.04] Andy: The female actor in that, absolutely amazing.
[3343.92] Andy: She was so sweet.
[3345.44] Jack: Yeah, she was awesome.
[3346.96] Andy: There's a link to it.
[3347.92] Andy: I don't know how to show it.
[3350.32] Jack: The relationship between her and...
[3352.56] Jack: I was just like, I was praying that she would get married in real life.
[3356.48] Andy: I watched that and I thought, she's going to be a massive star after this.
[3361.2] Andy: Yeah, incredible.
[3363.92] Windestål: Yeah, she was really good.
[3364.88] Windestål: Natalie was really good.
[3367.52] Chad K: I put the link there.
[3368.4] Chad K: I don't know if you can show it.
[3369.92] Jack: I love this comment, hang on.
[3373.84] Jack: What is it, Skeletora?
[3375.52] Jack: It's okay, Andy, I'll see.
[3377.28] Jack: You can rise up and control the humans.
[3381.2] Jack: I love the idea of Tony being your pet human and having a little bed beside you.
[3389.84] Jack: And then me entering his dream and then informing him that he's shat everywhere.
[3398.16] Jack: That's what happens in the episode.
[3399.68] Jack: Don't blame me.
[3401.36] Andy: You were in my dream last night, Jack, but we'll talk about that.
[3405.92] Andy: Why not, guys?
[3408.4] Andy: I had the most bizarre dream last night.
[3411.52] Andy: This is not podcast material.
[3415.28] Chad K: He's submitted now.
[3416.96] Jack: What the hell?
[3417.92] Jack: They put the phantom in there and David's the front man.
[3421.76] Windestål: Yep.
[3422.88] Windestål: What?
[3426.16] Windestål: Were they on crack?
[3427.76] Windestål: The best thing, they put faces on different bodies.
[3435.92] Windestål: That's not even my body.
[3437.44] Windestål: Oh, yeah.
[3438.4] Windestål: That's Christians holding a gun.
[3441.36] Windestål: Natalie has something I've never seen before.
[3444.88] Andy: She looks like she's out of blade.
[3447.84] Andy: You know, blade runner.
[3448.96] Andy: It's not even the good phantom.
[3450.56] Andy: It's like the standard one.
[3451.92] Andy: It's like the plastic copy of the phantom.
[3458.4] Tony: It is.
[3459.6] Andy: Oh, my God.
[3460.56] Tony: You're not Volker again, Andy.
[3465.04] Andy: No, it's water.
[3466.64] Tony: A heavy wet dream someone's put in the umpit.
[3470.0] Tony: Oh, no.
[3471.2] Tony: Someone can find a poster of that.
[3472.88] Windestål: I really want that.
[3474.0] Andy: To cut a long story short, Jack was in my dream, except he wasn't Jack.
[3478.8] Andy: He was Brad Pitt.
[3480.88] Andy: It was Brad Pitt with Jack's outfit in Jack's room.
[3490.16] Andy: And that's all I can remember, I promise.
[3493.04] Windestål: Oh, my God.
[3494.16] Windestål: He's going on in his mind.
[3496.88] Windestål: I really, I wish I could tell you, but no.
[3499.36] Windestål: Oh, my God.
[3499.92] Windestål: I don't know what's more messed up, your mind or that poster.
[3502.64] Tony: We got a call when this goes on sale, cloud, it's got to be called.
[3512.0] Andy: And he also he's wet dreaming about.
[3517.36] Andy: My channel's family friendly.
[3519.36] Andy: What's it?
[3519.68] Andy: We can't do that.
[3521.52] Andy: Jack Pitt.
[3522.48] Andy: Someone put Jack Pitt in the chat.
[3526.8] Jack: David, your minion Henrik looks like a techno Viking.
[3532.24] Jack: What?
[3533.2] Windestål: Yes, I agree.
[3534.0] Windestål: That's my brother.
[3535.92] Windestål: Oh, he's in the rocket knife videos.
[3538.0] Windestål: He wears the same shirt in all the episodes.
[3541.2] Windestål: Someone pointed out and he said it.
[3543.28] Windestål: It is really expensive with T-shirts in Sweden, so we have to rent them.
[3547.28] Windestål: And like, yeah.
[3551.28] Windestål: Read the T-shirt.
[3554.4] Jack: Best flight test episode.
[3556.48] Jack: Think it's when David made the vampire with the afterburner.
[3561.12] Tony: I agree.
[3562.88] Jack: Oh, man.
[3563.52] Jack: I just remember the outtake of like that being on fire in your basement.
[3568.48] Jack: How did your wife not?
[3570.56] Jack: That was garage.
[3571.28] Jack: Yeah.
[3572.4] Jack: Oh, my gosh.
[3573.2] Windestål: There were so many instances when the fire alarm went off and Julie was asleep.
[3579.76] Windestål: It was not too popular.
[3582.08] Tony: This is making me want to go back and watch everything again.
[3585.04] Tony: I think I might do that.
[3587.52] Andy: I do that all the time.
[3588.64] Andy: My favorite flight test episode with David is probably when
[3591.68] Andy: they put the rocket on that foam plane and it just had way too big of an engine on it.
[3596.88] Andy: And it just exploded.
[3598.48] Andy: And just David's reaction to like it just blowing up.
[3602.8] Andy: He was like, this is the even though like they had one that worked and was fine.
[3606.72] Andy: His favorite one was the one that just exploded.
[3609.36] Andy: I love that.
[3610.16] Jack: He is that evil girl.
[3612.08] Jack: You know, the evil girl smiling with the houses burning in the background.
[3616.32] Jack: He is totally does something to his nipples, man.
[3619.2] Jack: Like stabbing all kinds of.
[3626.9] Windestål: What's your favorite episode then, Chad?
[3629.3] Chad K: My favorite episode is the one I think it's unlisted,
[3631.86] Chad K: but you can find it through the forums.
[3633.7] Chad K: And it's the one where you and I were talking to the wife.
[3638.02] Chad K: You knew where I was going with this.
[3639.54] Chad K: Yeah.
[3640.74] Chad K: And Josh.
[3642.18] Chad K: Find it and post it in the chat.
[3643.94] Chad K: Josh, what happened?
[3645.3] Chad K: I've never seen Josh so nervous in my life.
[3649.62] Jack: What what episode is it?
[3651.46] Jack: You keep cutting out.
[3652.5] Windestål: I think it's a hidden one.
[3653.94] Windestål: It's we took a a hexacopter I built.
[3658.74] Windestål: I was pretty sure it was going to be able to lift an airplane.
[3662.26] Jack: Oh, I've got that.
[3664.42] Jack: The Chad sent me that ages ago.
[3666.98] Jack: Well, that is the scariest thing in the world.
[3672.02] Chad K: But what was funny was we did our first attempt.
[3675.62] Chad K: And right away, Josh is like, well, thank you for it.
[3677.94] Chad K: And then we kept going.
[3679.14] Chad K: He was trying to close out the show.
[3683.7] Windestål: Oh, it's so good.
[3685.3] Chad K: He's he's like, he looks like we're just going to completely obliterate ourselves.
[3691.38] Windestål: Which it was kind of lucky that we didn't.
[3695.7] Tony: Yeah, let's put it in.
[3697.94] Tony: Let's let's let's give all viewers something to watch.
[3700.66] Chad K: So I think it's unlisted and it has almost 20,000 views.
[3706.18] Windestål: I think it's on the forum or something.
[3708.58] Windestål: Yeah, it'd be a record.
[3709.7] Jack: Oh, man, it was the way that thing oscillated.
[3713.38] Jack: It was like, oh, man, that was absolutely that is not DT 750 motors.
[3721.54] Windestål: Those were the days.
[3722.82] Windestål: Six of them.
[3724.02] Chad K: Oh, yeah, message it to you.
[3727.22] Chad K: Did you get it?
[3727.78] Jack: Oh, man, I think.
[3729.3] Jack: Hang on.
[3730.5] Jack: Yeah, we can play it.
[3733.38] Chad K: That would be awesome.
[3734.58] Jack: Yeah, I can play it on here.
[3735.78] Jack: Screw it, man.
[3736.58] Jack: Just let's throw it out.
[3737.62] Tony: No one cares.
[3741.3] Tony: Let's share this.
[3742.9] Jack: Hang on.
[3743.3] Jack: Let me copy the link.
[3744.82] Jack: It's because I don't have Facebook on the big thing, right?
[3747.22] Jack: So hang on.
[3748.34] Jack: But talk about yourself.
[3750.34] Jack: Tony, what's your favorite episode?
[3754.74] Tony: There's been so many.
[3755.7] Tony: I don't know.
[3756.98] Tony: I haven't watched them for so long.
[3758.5] Tony: I think I'm going to go back because.
[3760.02] Jack: What happened to the film one?
[3761.86] Jack: Do you remember when you did the filming and stuff?
[3764.26] Jack: And then you crashed me up the copter.
[3769.7] Jack: The filming.
[3771.62] Windestål: Oh, yeah, we helped out on the shoot.
[3776.34] Jack: Yeah.
[3777.62] Chad K: So like, are you asking what happened to the short film?
[3780.9] Jack: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[3781.94] Chad K: It's actually out there somewhere.
[3785.22] Chad K: I never saw it.
[3787.06] Chad K: Here's what was funny.
[3789.06] Chad K: And I'm trying to remember the film.
[3790.74] Chad K: I'll find the link and I'll send it to you.
[3792.98] Chad K: But the director of that, his name's Ryan.
[3797.94] Chad K: I actually hired him at my production company.
[3800.58] Chad K: He worked for me.
[3801.78] Chad K: Well, I sold my production company a couple of years ago,
[3805.54] Chad K: but he worked for me for a few years before I sold it.
[3809.7] Chad K: And that was just.
[3810.82] Chad K: Oh, and the guy that ran camera, Jeremy, on that episode
[3818.66] Chad K: is now the video producer for Flight Test.
[3823.22] Chad K: Oh, so two people from that film shoot ended up working for us.
[3830.1] Andy: That's Stonecap, is it, Chad?
[3833.06] Andy: So that's been sold.
[3834.02] Andy: I didn't know that.
[3834.74] Chad K: Well, OK, so it's a long story.
[3836.42] Chad K: The operations of it.
[3837.78] Chad K: So the facility and the employee transferred to another company,
[3841.22] Chad K: but I still own the name.
[3842.9] Chad K: So Stonecap is my name, my company,
[3847.54] Chad K: but it doesn't employ anyone now.
[3851.46] Chad K: That's what you ran before Flight Test, right?
[3854.42] Chad K: Correct.
[3856.02] Chad K: I started that in 1998 and my primary work was developing
[3861.14] Chad K: or creating commercial work like marketing videos and commercial work.
[3866.74] Chad K: Great, yeah.
[3867.7] Jack: Right.
[3868.02] Jack: I can't play it with sound unless Frank, do you want to play it?
[3870.9] Jack: I can't hear it.
[3872.02] Jack: Frank, can you do it?
[3873.38] Jack: Frank, I put the thing in.
[3878.18] Tony: Give us some sound.
[3879.54] Tony: Is this legal?
[3881.14] Jack: Yeah, I think so.
[3883.62] Chad K: If it's not, that'll make it better.
[3885.3] Jack: Yeah, no one got any hurt or anything.
[3890.02] Jack: I've always wanted to upload the photo of Tony with his nipples out,
[3894.5] Jack: but I don't.
[3895.46] Jack: I need him to sign off for on it.
[3897.06] Tony: Yeah, that is a special episode.
[3903.54] Jack: There is actually a folder, a little hidden thing.
[3907.14] Jack: I used to do these shows of me trying to repair stuff with people
[3912.02] Jack: over the internet, like trying to troubleshoot quads and stuff like that.
[3916.02] Jack: And I recorded about five of them.
[3917.94] Jack: They go on for hours and it seems that every time I ever...
[3923.7] Jack: I'll shut up now.
[3928.5] Andy: Morning.
[3929.7] Andy: Highly dangerous.
[3931.06] Andy: Full screen.
[3932.34] Windestål: Full screen, full screen.
[3934.1] Windestål: I can't hear it.
[3934.66] Windestål: We did the intro and everything.
[3936.5] Chad K: It's just a short one.
[3938.58] Windestål: And I'm Josh.
[3939.78] Tony: Maybe we should lip sync.
[3943.7] Tony: Who's going to do who?
[3946.74] Tony: Right, pause it.
[3949.94] Windestål: Chad, look at you, Chad.
[3952.18] Windestål: You're so young.
[3955.46] Windestål: Even if it hasn't got any gray hair or a really strange scary man beard.
[3961.54] Tony: If it doesn't play any sound, I think you should play yourselves and talk.
[3972.18] Bixler: All right.
[3972.42] Bixler: Well, I know the Y6 has left a lot of weight, right, David?
[3974.98] Bixler: Yeah, it does.
[3975.62] Bixler: That's a lot of weight.
[3976.58] Bixler: Are you just like going for visualization here just to show?
[3979.54] Bixler: No, I'm just curious.
[3981.06] Bixler: Just curious.
[3982.26] Bixler: Okay, let's see what they say.
[3984.66] Bixler: Curiosity killed the B-47.
[3986.1] Bixler: I think this is going to be a lot.
[3987.14] Bixler: We're going to get to make a meal for this for sure.
[3988.9] Chad K: I think we should replay it.
[3990.66] Chad K: A little release.
[3992.9] Chad K: That's a glider release.
[3996.34] Windestål: Yeah, it's just the Y6 with a camera on it and a lot of motor and a lot of power.
[4000.66] Bixler: So, P-47 lovers, direct your hate mail to David.
[4003.86] Bixler: Yeah, I don't care.
[4009.3] Jack: No email address to your work.
[4011.14] Jack: Yes.
[4011.54] Bixler: You hover and let me get out of the way.
[4013.22] Bixler: Yes.
[4014.1] Bixler: Can you get out of the way okay?
[4015.7] Bixler: I hope.
[4016.1] Bixler: Can you grab it by the skid maybe?
[4018.9] Bixler: Let's stand back a little bit.
[4020.18] Tony: I'm going to stand this close.
[4021.22] Chad K: Oh, everybody's peeling away.
[4023.22] Chad K: Are we going to drop it?
[4024.74] Chad K: Yep, drop it.
[4025.78] Chad K: We're going to take it out.
[4026.9] Bixler: Have you got to lift on it?
[4028.02] Bixler: Yeah, and I'll fly it once you drop it.
[4030.18] Bixler: Oh my god.
[4030.9] Bixler: Have you got to lift on it to make sure it lifts at the proper attitude?
[4033.06] Bixler: No.
[4033.54] Bixler: We'll see.
[4034.42] Chad K: We're hoping it works.
[4036.66] Chad K: Tell me when you're level.
[4037.54] Bixler: If you ever, ever do what Chad just did.
[4050.18] Windestål: We want to thank you.
[4050.9] Windestål: Yeah, I think so.
[4052.74] Windestål: I just, they were swinging a lot.
[4056.42] Chad K: Right there, Josh knows about the show.
[4059.22] Tony: I know.
[4059.7] Tony: Yeah.
[4067.46] Tony: Everyone's dead.
[4072.53] Bixler: I'm going to say an email.
[4074.77] Bixler: Someone's going to the hospital after this.
[4076.53] Bixler: I held this episode.
[4077.89] Bixler: Guys, don't do this.
[4079.81] Bixler: David Vindicel may be here with us for another week or so while he heals.
[4083.73] Bixler: Or Chad, while they're putting more fingers on him.
[4086.45] Windestål: That's a KK1 board.
[4093.33] Jack: Oh my god.
[4094.85] Bixler: You don't have to try to lift the plane.
[4096.13] Bixler: I'm not out of your hands, Chad.
[4098.45] Bixler: I'm scared, David.
[4108.66] Bixler: Is that a full throttle?
[4110.34] Bixler: Don't try this at home.
[4111.54] Bixler: Guys, well, I should teleconference with a lot of weight.
[4114.1] Bixler: But not like that.
[4115.22] Bixler: There's a lot of weight.
[4116.5] Bixler: That's a lot of weight.
[4117.86] Bixler: Why did we pick that one?
[4120.42] Bixler: I would have been satisfied with any number of plants that are smaller than that.
[4125.3] Bixler: Now we know what not to do.
[4126.98] Bixler: You might as well have put me on there, too.
[4129.38] Bixler: You want to close up the show?
[4130.42] Bixler: Yeah.
[4130.98] Bixler: I want to thank Hobbyking for sponsoring this travesty.
[4135.06] Jack: They're never going to sponsor that.
[4137.46] Bixler: You don't think so?
[4138.34] Bixler: No.
[4138.74] Bixler: Well, thanks for watching.
[4143.54] Tony: That's not good.
[4146.02] Tony: Brilliant.
[4147.94] Jack: David's like, it's not even this cold, but if I keep my hands in this mitt,
[4151.78] Jack: they can at least identify my body from my weight.
[4156.26] Tony: Oh, that was brilliant.
[4157.3] Tony: That was great.
[4158.82] Tony: It's like your younger brother's doing the episode.
[4165.62] Andy: It's like back to the future watching that.
[4167.86] Andy: I've never seen everyone looking so young.
[4169.86] Jack: I know.
[4171.06] Jack: I love how the numbers are basically, it's been passed around like a dirty movie.
[4180.1] Jack: Do you want to see what Josh and Josh aren't into?
[4182.82] Jack: Have a look at this.
[4183.7] Windestål: This will be a challenge one for them.
[4189.06] Tony: Hi.
[4192.9] Tony: Oh, my gosh.
[4194.66] Chad K: So that's my favorite episode.
[4199.22] Tony: Can we mute it and then you do a voiceover?
[4205.62] Windestål: It's kind of cheating now that we saw it.
[4207.94] Chad K: Yeah.
[4209.62] Chad K: Funniest to hear Josh try to close out the show.
[4212.82] Windestål: Yeah.
[4214.18] Windestål: We're just, we don't care.
[4215.7] Windestål: It's just, when we talk in the background, it's like, oh, maybe we should do four cell.
[4220.58] Tony: Was it three cell?
[4222.82] Windestål: It was three cell debt.
[4223.94] Windestål: Back in the day, no one used four cell, but DT750 is going to take that.
[4229.22] Jack: Oh, my God.
[4230.18] Jack: What is wrong with you?
[4232.82] Jack: I was just waiting.
[4233.7] Jack: You know, when you plugged back in, it was like exploring the RC world one crash at a time.
[4238.98] Jack: Just the crash is right next to my face.
[4242.1] Jack: Oh, my God.
[4244.34] Chad K: I don't know why I was thinking.
[4245.7] Chad K: I trust David a lot.
[4248.02] Windestål: Yeah, I don't.
[4248.9] Windestål: Yeah.
[4249.38] Windestål: You were a new bomb multirotors, luckily.
[4253.06] Windestål: I think you all were.
[4254.98] Windestål: Yes.
[4256.1] Windestål: No, no.
[4256.66] Windestål: I was a seasoned professional by that time.
[4259.22] Jack: That's a professional.
[4260.58] Jack: He's called himself a professional.
[4262.66] Jack: He has got the audacity to say that I'm in Hufflepuff and he's got evidence like that out there.
[4268.98] Jack: Give us the link.
[4273.22] Jack: It was too cool.
[4274.34] Jack: Is it right to I mean, I mean, half the Roto Riot forums got that.
[4282.98] Tony: In the chat.
[4283.54] Tony: There you go, guys.
[4284.5] Tony: Watch that.
[4285.22] Tony: Have fun.
[4286.1] Jack: There you go.
[4287.46] Jack: Come like literally like people must just come to this show being like,
[4292.98] Jack: well, are they going to come out with now?
[4296.1] Jack: This is like the snuff movies of
[4298.98] Jack: podcast.
[4299.7] Windestål: Basically, this is what I got.
[4301.62] Jack: Chad knows what the snuff movie is.
[4303.38] Tony: What's that?
[4307.38] Frank: No.
[4307.86] Frank: I'm going to wait for that one now.
[4310.74] Frank: Oh, man.
[4311.3] Tony: I missed the process.
[4312.5] Tony: Just joined us a bit.
[4313.62] Tony: Like where have you been?
[4316.66] Andy: I know.
[4319.06] Andy: Can I ask?
[4320.1] Andy: Can I ask another serious question?
[4322.66] Andy: Please bring us back in, please, Andy.
[4326.66] Andy: I didn't get the opportunity to meet the guys from Roto Riot when they toured the UK
[4333.22] Andy: and did the trip to Italy.
[4334.58] Andy: Are there any more plans to sort of maybe come to the UK in Europe with that kind of
[4340.18] Andy: stuff and maybe meet some of the fans rather than kind of like forgetting content?
[4349.22] Chad K: Yeah, well, yeah, I mean, it depends on the situation.
[4354.98] Chad K: Oftentimes, we have to travel on the cheap.
[4359.22] Chad K: So typically, we look for situations where we get the trip funded.
[4365.3] Chad K: For instance, this was Muncie, Indiana.
[4368.5] Chad K: But obviously, to go be a part of the Riot event, they paid for us to go there and be
[4374.9] Chad K: there and meet and greet and help run the freestyle portion of the event.
[4380.34] Chad K: And so when we get our trip paid for, then we have to get content out of it to show because
[4389.54] Chad K: we've got everybody tied up there.
[4391.38] Chad K: But we're trying to get to a place to where we can fund our episodes better.
[4397.06] Chad K: A lot of people don't understand that we're a typical store business model, except a lot
[4404.34] Chad K: of stores put their money into ads.
[4408.02] Chad K: We put ours into making our episodes.
[4411.38] Chad K: Well, we have pilots from around the world and travel is very expensive.
[4415.46] Chad K: And creating the episodes takes a lot of time.
[4418.02] Chad K: So where a lot of people might spend this much budget on advertising, we spend this much
[4425.46] Chad K: on the show, and it's still not even a direct advertisement.
[4429.38] Chad K: So it's a difficult model in the beginning.
[4434.1] Chad K: But, you know, eventually we start making our own products in the hype dream mode of
[4437.86] Chad K: being the first original real product of ours.
[4441.7] Chad K: So once we get a few more products under our belt, we'll be able to increase our funding
[4446.34] Chad K: on the shows we do.
[4447.62] Chad K: So the short answer to your question is yes, in the future.
[4450.5] Chad K: But it depends on how quickly we can get to a profit positive position with our products.
[4458.02] Tony: Sounds good.
[4459.22] Tony: Black Corner, what about maybe a European version of Rotorite?
[4465.7] Chad K: Well, what does that mean?
[4468.1] Chad K: Because I've had a lot of people say that.
[4470.02] Chad K: What's it mean to you?
[4472.34] Tony: To me, it means like, don't let us idiots do it.
[4475.7] Jack: That's what that means to me for the love of Christ child.
[4479.06] Jack: If you value everything you've created, do not let Tony get some really good pilots
[4486.1] Tony: from the UK, from Germany, and, you know, and do a European like, I don't know,
[4492.34] Tony: like get Tom Smith, he's a big character.
[4495.38] Tony: Get someone else from Germany and put them together and see if you can come up with something.
[4500.5] Andy: I love how Tony has not mentioned any of us, just other people that are great pilots.
[4509.06] Chad K: No, I would absolutely love to dedicate myself to building out content like that.
[4514.9] Chad K: It just honestly comes down to costs.
[4516.9] Chad K: Like people don't realize how expensive and how difficult it is to pull off the episodes
[4524.1] Chad K: that we do at no charge to anyone, you know, and we, you know, flight test was the same way.
[4532.1] Chad K: You know, we gave first, we proved ourselves first, and then we brought product.
[4539.06] Chad K: Rotorite's the same model, prove ourselves first, then we bring product.
[4543.14] Chad K: And then once enough product sells, it then can fund bigger, better opportunities with the show.
[4549.78] Chad K: But we're still at that stage.
[4552.02] Chad K: But yeah, I mean, if there's a way that I could do it and not cost me tens of thousands of dollars
[4559.7] Chad K: for a labor of love, yeah, I would do it.
[4562.58] Chad K: So if it were funded, I would totally commit myself to creating it.
[4566.82] Chad K: Yes.
[4568.04] Andy: I think the ideal of Rotorite is to, and when I watched that first episode,
[4575.56] Andy: it was all about sort of having a mini quad version of Top Gear, which I think is still,
[4583.48] Andy: you know, you get three guys, you get all the products, you sort of take them on crazy adventures.
[4589.8] Andy: And I think that'd be sort of like a great end, have like a cool wall on all that business.
[4600.36] Frank: I guess the funding side of it would have to be that you've got enough products and enough
[4605.16] Frank: demands that you could support a European warehouse that's then supporting its own European content as well.
[4613.48] Chad K: Well, yeah, and kind of what we're trying to do is we're, you know,
[4617.0] Chad K: we've already got distributors set up.
[4618.68] Chad K: So we have, you know, distributors in Canada, UK, Germany, France, Australia.
[4627.32] Chad K: And what that's doing is allowing us to broaden our footprint.
[4630.92] Chad K: So we are able to sell our products through other countries without having to open a warehouse
[4637.56] Chad K: because to have a physical facility obviously costs a lot of money.
[4642.36] Chad K: So we're trying to drop ship our items directly to the distributors,
[4646.2] Chad K: which allows us to sell globally and people aren't having to pay extra money in shipping.
[4651.8] Chad K: And that's something that is, it's a hard nut to crack.
[4656.2] Tony: So apart from motors, is there anything else on the horizon that you guys are gonna put your name on?
[4663.8] Chad K: Yeah, well, it's, and I do want to clarify, we're not just putting our name on it.
[4667.72] Chad K: Like the motors, we touch on it as an aspect of that motor.
[4671.64] Chad K: Like the, you know, everything from the custom motor belt to the coloring to the orange stater,
[4679.08] Chad K: the silver coated windings, I mean, everything.
[4683.24] Chad K: And yeah, but we're gonna continue developing products.
[4687.56] Chad K: The next product is Tommy's Frame, which he's been working on for probably 15, 16 months.
[4694.52] Chad K: I don't remember a long time.
[4696.28] Chad K: And it should be ready next month.
[4698.12] Chad K: And we're really excited about that.
[4699.96] Chad K: So it's actually I have it.
[4703.0] Chad K: It's upstairs.
[4706.52] Chad K: Well, it's not put together.
[4707.56] Chad K: It's just pieces.
[4710.76] Chad K: No, I mean, I'll show it to you if you want.
[4713.48] Chad K: But you know what?
[4715.56] Chad K: Okay, I'll get it here.
[4716.92] Chad K: In the meantime, I want you guys to read this or somebody read this and
[4721.96] Jack: give it to Frank.
[4723.16] Chad K: I can talk about it here.
[4724.76] Chad K: Frank, read it out.
[4727.16] Frank: Story time.
[4728.52] Frank: I promise to grow the FPV multi-roader community.
[4731.24] Frank: I promise to push technology forward.
[4733.4] Frank: I promise to connect people and encourage them to help each other.
[4736.36] Frank: I promise to go on adventures to inspire people.
[4739.0] Frank: While I will be daring and bold, I will not compromise the safety of others.
[4743.08] Frank: And then there's Rosariot crossed out.
[4748.6] Jack: Is that his modus operandus?
[4751.64] Jack: Did you read it?
[4752.68] Jack: Yeah.
[4753.56] Chad K: Yeah, so that's what I would love to see is for when people have the logo,
[4759.96] Chad K: the Rotoriot logo, which I have hundreds of them around here.
[4762.76] Chad K: I can't find them.
[4763.96] Jack: Yeah, they're now being bootlaked in the UK.
[4766.2] Jack: Sorry about that, charge.
[4767.64] Chad K: So when you see this logo, that's what it means is that mantra, that blood oath.
[4777.08] Chad K: It's to represent what this culture is, what it's become.
[4782.04] Chad K: And that's the most important thing about all of this to me.
[4789.48] Jack: Oh, sorry.
[4790.36] Chad K: No, go ahead.
[4791.32] Jack: I was going to say Chad said, if you get that tattooed on you,
[4794.68] Jack: he will give you a $10 poker chip.
[4797.32] Chad K: Wait, Noac is watching?
[4800.28] Jack: No.
[4801.16] Chad K: Oh, you said I said that.
[4802.84] Chad K: I thought Chad was watching.
[4803.96] Jack: You said, no, I can message Chad Noac and see what he's doing.
[4810.52] Tony: No, I don't.
[4813.16] Tony: I don't.
[4814.52] Tony: Oh, wow.
[4815.96] Tony: Oh, look, you've seen it here first.
[4822.53] Windestål: Interesting.
[4823.73] Windestål: That looks nice.
[4825.49] Chad K: And here, I want to see the nuts and bolts.
[4827.97] Chad K: It's a lot of parts.
[4830.21] Jack: You've got some lovely nuts, Chad.
[4832.13] Chad K: Thank you.
[4833.57] Chad K: They're tight.
[4834.05] Chad K: Dangling.
[4834.85] Chad K: Yeah, so it's a really cool design.
[4837.33] Chad K: Like, I'm really excited about it.
[4841.09] Jack: I must say you've moved on because I was shocked that there's no Delrin in that packet.
[4847.41] Jack: I was shocked.
[4848.37] Jack: I was truly nothing snapped together.
[4851.41] Jack: You were using bolts.
[4853.09] Jack: Amazing.
[4853.89] Jack: No Delrin.
[4854.85] Chad K: The early days of the laser cutter were fun.
[4857.73] Windestål: Yeah.
[4858.05] Windestål: Oh my gosh.
[4858.69] Windestål: It was so good.
[4859.97] Windestål: Yeah.
[4861.97] Jack: Until then was the fire.
[4864.13] Jack: That was my favorite episode where everything was on fire.
[4868.45] Chad K: It's every other episode.
[4871.65] Frank: I was always surprised with the flight test stuff that never progressed
[4875.97] Frank: from a laser cutter to die cut, like stamping tool or anything.
[4881.73] Frank: You can get some of this fairly cheaply.
[4883.81] Frank: I just thought the big long runs of the tiny trainer or the glider one for the school,
[4891.17] Frank: that sort of thing.
[4891.65] Frank: I just thought that one, you'd end up getting a die made up for that.
[4896.61] Chad K: Yeah, I really, by that point,
[4899.97] Chad K: I sold flight tests in 2014.
[4902.37] Chad K: So by that point, it's out of my hands.
[4907.01] Andy: But yeah, I don't know.
[4909.09] Andy: It works.
[4911.25] Andy: Do you not get any input then, Chad, to flight test?
[4914.77] Chad K: I suppose I can say whatever I want.
[4918.53] Chad K: As can everyone else.
[4921.17] Chad K: No, I mean, quite frankly, I'm not a daily operations guy anyhow.
[4927.89] Chad K: I'm more of an inventor of media.
[4930.45] Chad K: I like to create the original.
[4933.33] Chad K: And then, well, you saw on that episode, once it's moving,
[4938.29] Chad K: then other people kind of take over.
[4941.89] Chad K: I was actually in the episode at that point.
[4946.05] Jack: I love Tony's thing.
[4951.01] Tony: Mikey Dred said, is the frame from, oh my god, I pretty saw a frame.
[4958.53] Chad K: Yes, it is a freestyle frame.
[4961.01] Tony: And does it carry GoPro accession?
[4963.49] Chad K: Yeah, it's got slits on the top.
[4965.57] Tony: Cool, cool.
[4967.41] Tony: There you go, guys.
[4969.41] Tony: Chad, where do you fly?
[4971.81] Chad K: Well, I have a couple.
[4973.01] Chad K: I have a butter quad.
[4973.81] Chad K: I have an alien and I have Kevin's frame.
[4977.49] Chad K: Those are my three functioning ones.
[4979.65] Chad K: Well, you have functioning ones right now.
[4982.37] Jack: Have you still got the quad that David built that was like the best thing ever?
[4992.05] Jack: Oh, no, he's gone.
[4993.65] Chad K: Actually, yeah.
[4995.25] Chad K: You mean the one right here?
[4997.41] Jack: Yeah.
[4999.25] Jack: Man, that is legendary.
[5001.81] Andy: He just has it to hand like it keeps it up the side all the time.
[5006.05] Jack: This is my pet quadcopter with an interface by my side.
[5010.77] Chad K: I will never get rid of that one.
[5013.41] Chad K: And then here's anything to make it live.
[5016.45] Chad K: There's my alien.
[5017.97] Chad K: And I'm flying.
[5019.01] Chad K: And the thing is, I build and fly like whatever spare parts are left here.
[5025.49] Jack: Like I don't get scavenging.
[5029.01] Chad K: Yeah, I never get the latest greatest.
[5030.85] Chad K: If I have something like really new and cool, I almost always give it away.
[5035.65] Chad K: Because I figure it's wasted on me because I fly like a grandma.
[5043.33] Tony: We've seen you fly.
[5044.37] Tony: I saw you fly through the...
[5047.09] Tony: What's them to where you flew out?
[5049.89] Tony: Yeah, that was cool.
[5051.25] Tony: That was good flying.
[5053.33] Jack: You've also seen him fly into himself.
[5055.97] Tony: Yeah, I've seen that as well, but yeah.
[5060.13] Chad K: That was a fun one.
[5061.81] Jack: Oh, good flight.
[5066.05] Jack: What are you going to say?
[5066.77] Jack: Yeah, I know.
[5068.77] Jack: That's no grandma.
[5071.25] Chad K: You know, well, thanks.
[5074.53] Chad K: We're talking about favorite episodes.
[5076.13] Chad K: I have to lift this up.
[5079.33] Chad K: If you guys are interested on the flight test gremlin,
[5083.33] Chad K: I have to say from a feeling standpoint, hold on.
[5089.57] Jack: You guys flying in the storm.
[5093.09] Jack: That is so badass.
[5095.01] Chad K: Yeah, that's it.
[5096.05] Chad K: How did you know what I was going to say?
[5097.65] Jack: Because that is one...
[5100.37] Jack: That's what came into my head.
[5102.13] Jack: I was like, you guys, you need to redo that
[5105.65] Jack: and like mute it all and have some like ACDC like...
[5111.81] Jack: You guys like in the wind.
[5113.57] Jack: You guys should really grow your hair and rock out Swedish style.
[5117.41] Chad K: I don't even know, made that so great, but it was just...
[5120.85] Chad K: The day was awesome.
[5122.05] Chad K: It was like...
[5123.25] Jack: Have you got it?
[5124.69] Jack: We'll play it now.
[5125.89] Jack: I can find it.
[5126.93] Tony: Let me...
[5128.37] Tony: Let's do it, play it, but you have to dub over it.
[5132.29] Jack: All I can say is you should change the title thing to FPV badasses.
[5137.73] Jack: Oh, line of sight.
[5138.69] Jack: I think you were line of sight.
[5139.81] Windestål: Yeah, I was trying to say.
[5140.93] Jack: Yeah, line of sight, badasses.
[5142.21] Windestål: With a swift wing on 2S.
[5144.93] Jack: I'm really disappointed in David Chadds.
[5149.33] Jack: He came all the way here, wanted a...
[5152.45] Jack: What did you want?
[5153.17] Jack: A bulletproof vest?
[5155.49] Jack: No, not that.
[5157.97] Jack: No, what foam aeroplane did you want?
[5160.53] Windestål: Oh, the fun jet.
[5162.21] Windestål: They had an original fun jet hanging in the hobby shop.
[5169.01] Jack: I would have paid the shipping just for you to stop being a little bit.
[5175.25] Tony: Sorry.
[5176.61] Jack: Sorry, I could just imagine that person now who's listening and being like,
[5183.01] Jack: you know, like, you can't talk to David like that.
[5185.17] Jack: You're so disrespectful.
[5186.61] Jack: I can't believe you're allowed to have a show.
[5189.81] Chad K: Oh, my grandma.
[5191.89] Chad K: Hey, would you guys watch a vlog if David did one?
[5195.17] Chad K: Fuck yeah.
[5195.65] Chad K: Oh, no, no, no, no.
[5198.13] Tony: 400?
[5199.33] Tony: How many likes before he has to do it?
[5202.13] Jack: Oh, man.
[5204.37] Jack: I've chopped wood.
[5205.41] Jack: I've played Barbies with my brother.
[5212.85] Jack: These are my socks.
[5214.05] Tony: How many likes, David, before you do it?
[5217.89] Tony: Oh, no.
[5218.85] Tony: Come on.
[5220.37] Andy: There must be.
[5221.49] Andy: So, David, you're getting close to 100,000, right?
[5225.41] Windestål: Yeah, it's inching towards that.
[5227.25] Windestål: Yeah.
[5227.73] Andy: Are you doing anything special for the 100,000?
[5230.53] Windestål: I think I'm going to cut a cake.
[5233.01] Andy: I don't know.
[5234.37] Windestål: A rocket cake.
[5238.69] Windestål: Who's rocket knife the cake in half?
[5241.17] Windestål: Yeah, there you go.
[5243.09] Chad K: That was it.
[5246.29] Chad K: Can it be a wedding cake?
[5248.21] Windestål: Oh, that would be cool.
[5250.61] Windestål: That would be expensive.
[5252.37] Windestål: Or I bake it myself.
[5253.73] Windestål: That's the episode.
[5255.09] Jack: The only thing is, man, you do not buy a nicer wedding cake
[5258.45] Jack: than the one you had for your wedding.
[5260.85] Windestål: I didn't have one.
[5262.21] Jack: Oh, my God.
[5263.33] Jack: You are a bad husband.
[5265.41] Windestål: We went to the park.
[5268.05] Windestål: The local park stood under a tree while it was pouring down rain
[5274.77] Windestål: and had the ceremony with Nijana, two witnesses, and the minister.
[5281.57] Windestål: Or not minister, but I don't know what you call that.
[5284.29] Windestål: The representative.
[5285.41] Jack: Well, Ingalls must think that you've stolen her.
[5289.41] Windestål: Yes, probably.
[5290.53] Jack: Oh, my God.
[5291.81] Jack: I bet they're like a perfect wedding.
[5294.93] Jack: That's the sort of way we just murder her so that we can grieve properly.
[5302.29] Tony: Oh, it's fantastic.
[5303.81] Tony: Do we do this mute?
[5305.73] Tony: And David has to overlay his voice.
[5311.25] Chad K: The laughing is what makes it great.
[5313.65] Tony: Yeah.
[5316.37] Tony: No, just play it.
[5317.25] Jack: Just play it.
[5319.17] Jack: Poor David.
[5320.13] Jack: He's like, why do you come on here?
[5324.29] Tony: Big scream.
[5327.25] Chad K: We can't hear it.
[5327.97] Tony: We can't hear it and see it big.
[5330.45] Tony: Come on.
[5330.93] Tony: Someone's all the way out.
[5333.49] Windestål: It's just crazy.
[5340.4] Frank: That's just flat.
[5341.2] Frank: That's out.
[5341.6] Frank: I'm not going anywhere.
[5342.8] Windestål: Yeah.
[5343.36] Windestål: That was like, I was, yeah, full throttle at times and it wouldn't move.
[5349.84] Windestål: I sound like a spode.
[5352.0] Tony: David, come over this way a little more.
[5354.4] Windestål: DX six.
[5355.84] Windestål: Or is it a five?
[5357.36] Chad K: No, that's a six.
[5362.05] Jack: I love how defensive Chad got.
[5364.21] Jack: This is six.
[5365.01] Jack: I can afford a six.
[5368.13] Tony: We've got a storm coming to the UK Saturday and Sunday.
[5371.57] Tony: Maybe we should record all right.
[5373.89] Jack: Thanks, America.
[5377.89] Windestål: It was a really good day.
[5379.17] Windestål: That was fun.
[5380.13] Jack: Oh, man.
[5380.85] Jack: It's beautiful.
[5381.97] Windestål: We should do.
[5382.61] Tony: It's fine at night.
[5383.97] Tony: God, David.
[5385.01] Tony: Whoever's going to do it.
[5385.97] Windestål: Yeah, that was good too.
[5390.13] Frank: The thing is, it's at least dry in this video by the looks of it.
[5394.37] Frank: Yeah, and it was warm.
[5395.81] Jack: I'd just like to point out that we've been watching David
[5398.93] Jack: for the last three minutes trying to finish high.
[5401.97] Windestål: Nice.
[5402.53] Windestål: Let's try the gyros.
[5403.81] Windestål: Yeah, sure.
[5405.33] Windestål: Oh, yeah.
[5405.73] Windestål: We had gyros on it.
[5406.77] Windestål: I'm going to fly to the IYF.
[5408.77] Windestål: That was a different one.
[5409.97] Windestål: The IYF in this spot.
[5412.85] Windestål: Oh, my God.
[5413.33] Windestål: He looks 12.
[5415.17] Windestål: Probably the best task for you, like, for the gyros.
[5418.45] Windestål: Okay.
[5418.85] Windestål: It's two gyros mounted at like a 30-degree angle,
[5422.93] Windestål: so they do both alivans.
[5426.61] Jack: Did Chad have to forge a letter so you could fly back home?
[5440.37] Jack: That is a spode.
[5441.57] Tony: Okay, ready?
[5443.33] Jack: Fucking spode.
[5447.92] Chad K: Yeah, you guys are cutting the wind.
[5454.47] Chad K: Yeah, it doesn't turn as sharp.
[5465.2] Chad K: Oh, last year left.
[5471.86] Tony: I'm so going to go back and watch the light.
[5474.58] Jack: Oh, it's so good.
[5477.46] Chad K: I like the lighting in the background.
[5480.42] Windestål: This is on the Gremlin channel?
[5482.34] Chad K: Yeah.
[5482.66] Chad K: Yeah.
[5483.3] Chad K: Yes.
[5488.64] Chad K: Boy, that was stable.
[5490.32] Windestål: Yeah.
[5493.84] Chad K: Okay, same pass without gyros.
[5498.18] Jack: This is so nostalgic.
[5499.54] Jack: This is exactly what I wanted.
[5502.34] Jack: Who cares?
[5502.98] Jack: It's a podcast.
[5503.94] Jack: They just sit around and watch old video of the flight test
[5508.82] Jack: back where things were fun.
[5512.1] Chad K: Quickly that way.
[5514.1] Chad K: Look how stable.
[5516.02] Chad K: Yeah, isn't that crazy?
[5518.42] Jack: Buy it now.
[5522.9] Chad K: Gyros are in the rain.
[5535.86] Jack: That is awesome.
[5537.62] Jack: I was so shocked, man.
[5538.98] Jack: I went to this art gig.
[5541.38] Jack: And there was a bit of a Fox syrup head cup.
[5546.82] Jack: And I thought that you've had a fun word, an insult called spode.
[5551.94] Jack: Yeah.
[5553.7] Jack: Yeah.
[5554.02] Jack: So I thought, David, where were we?
[5556.74] Jack: We were at the RC shop and someone was being like parking really badly.
[5561.54] Jack: And I just went fucking spode.
[5564.26] Jack: And he was like, what's that?
[5565.86] Jack: And I was like, I think it's originally a Welsh word.
[5569.14] Jack: It's a thing for a useless pottery.
[5573.38] Jack: And it's a term for useless pottery.
[5576.9] Windestål: It's actually, I've searched a little bit more for it.
[5580.42] Windestål: In the motorcycle, motor cross circle, it's someone that is a poser as well.
[5586.74] Windestål: Someone that doesn't know how to do it, but pretend to do it.
[5589.86] Windestål: So yeah, they're jerks.
[5591.22] Windestål: Oh my God.
[5592.26] Jack: So yeah.
[5595.06] Jack: Yeah, that's it.
[5596.1] Jack: And I went to an art show and there was like a bit of useless pottery
[5599.78] Jack: and it was like possibly spode.
[5602.1] Jack: I sent it to him and he was just like, it made his day.
[5606.1] Windestål: So good.
[5606.98] Windestål: So good.
[5608.98] Jack: I know Tony's my little spode.
[5612.18] Tony: And Jack's my big one.
[5614.74] Jack: Andrew, do you want to read those out and unmute yourself?
[5617.86] Jack: I don't you read one and then Andy RC read one because everyone loves Andy RC on it.
[5623.22] Frank: So a boss zero zero.
[5625.46] Frank: I don't know how you want us to pronounce that.
[5628.58] Frank: Chas, how often do you fly things?
[5631.38] Frank: We don't see the pilot side of you so much anymore.
[5634.74] Chad K: Um, I go through spurts.
[5636.82] Chad K: Sometimes I there've been times where I fly, you know, about every other day.
[5641.22] Chad K: I haven't flown now for probably about two weeks.
[5646.5] Chad K: But no, you mainly don't see me fly because it's not.
[5650.42] Chad K: It's not very impressive.
[5653.14] Tony: No real reason to.
[5654.5] Tony: Can we have a riot episode where you fly?
[5658.42] Chad K: Yeah.
[5661.2] Chad K: I mean, I'm not opposed to it.
[5663.36] Chad K: I just don't know who I think people would love that people would be interested.
[5668.72] Tony: Yeah, the man behind the camera.
[5673.2] Jack: Just wear really tight trousers and grow facial hair.
[5677.04] Chad K: Yeah, I mean, I don't have a problem flying.
[5680.88] Chad K: I just compared to the other guys on the show.
[5683.84] Chad K: It's it's embarrassing, but it's good.
[5686.88] Windestål: It sets a benchmark.
[5689.36] Windestål: That's true.
[5689.92] Windestål: The normal person compared to normal person looks like we've got comments in the chat
[5696.96] Frank: saying that we want to see it.
[5698.4] Frank: So there's some demands.
[5701.6] Frank: All right.
[5702.16] Tony: Well, we'll make it happen.
[5704.16] Tony: We'll make it happen.
[5705.84] Tony: That could be an upcoming episode.
[5707.44] Tony: That'd be good.
[5710.02] Chad K: Another suggestion we've been having lately is retro gear versus new gear.
[5716.74] Frank: Yes.
[5717.7] Frank: Well, yes.
[5718.82] Frank: So we need to hurry up then, Jack, don't we?
[5720.58] Jack: Yeah, very badly.
[5722.18] Jack: Oh, man.
[5723.3] Jack: Yeah, he brought, Andrew brought a quad round and I can only describe it as a rat king.
[5730.5] Jack: Is that right?
[5731.22] Jack: Yes.
[5732.18] Jack: Yeah.
[5732.34] Jack: Well, we call it rat's nest.
[5733.7] Jack: But yeah, it's anyone know what a rat king is?
[5737.86] Frank: Yeah, with all the rats all tied up in a ball because they're all covered in muck.
[5742.26] Frank: And the tails get tangled together.
[5743.86] Jack: Yeah, and they move to the unit of one.
[5747.54] Jack: That's what that quad looked like.
[5751.06] Frank: It was my first go at building a quads.
[5753.46] Frank: It flew.
[5754.98] Frank: It was retired not because it fell apart.
[5758.42] Frank: So I was happy.
[5760.42] Frank: I learned to fly a female.
[5761.78] Jack: He didn't use standoffs.
[5762.82] Jack: He used foam and the wires of the motors.
[5766.18] Jack: He didn't trim a single wire.
[5768.34] Jack: If you gave him wire, he wanted it on that quad.
[5771.3] Jack: There was a lot of copper on that quad.
[5773.14] Jack: Yeah.
[5773.54] Tony: It was like, you know, live stream.
[5776.98] Jack: Yeah, there is a picture.
[5778.82] Frank: And you've got a pair of hands because actually, it's all in pieces now.
[5782.98] Jack: Yeah, it's all in pieces.
[5786.18] Frank: I didn't have a ferrite ring.
[5787.78] Frank: So I used an M10 steel nut and wrapped everything around that.
[5798.02] Tony: An M10?
[5800.02] Frank: Yeah, that's kind of heavy.
[5804.02] Frank: I can't think of what else I did that was horrific,
[5806.58] Frank: but there's lots of stuff on there.
[5807.94] Frank: I was just like, I came to it feeling like it's going to be like a fixed wing.
[5815.94] Frank: So I'm going to crash it and then need to rebuild it in a week or two anyway.
[5819.7] Frank: So I figured there's no point doing it well the first time.
[5823.86] Frank: And then it just survives to the next six months plus and didn't fall apart.
[5828.5] Frank: So I never rebuilt it.
[5830.98] Jack: Yeah, because like everything was contained in this like copper shield of wires.
[5836.66] Jack: You couldn't really, it was just a ball.
[5838.18] Jack: It would just roll about.
[5841.78] Jack: Do you know sign language for spode?
[5843.7] Jack: I don't.
[5844.98] Jack: I mean, you could S-P-A-E-I-O-D-E.
[5853.94] Jack: I fingerspell it, I guess.
[5856.34] Jack: But I don't know.
[5857.22] Jack: Someone look up the sign language of spode.
[5860.66] Jack: I don't think there's going to be one.
[5862.58] Tony: Make one up, Jack.
[5864.5] Jack: I know.
[5865.7] Tony: Do it.
[5866.18] Tony: Make one up now.
[5867.62] Tony: There we go.
[5868.74] Tony: That is it.
[5869.78] Jack: What the, that's like something like hair or something.
[5874.34] Jack: That's pretty good.
[5875.62] Andy: I want to know why Jack knows so much about sign language.
[5878.42] Andy: What's going on there?
[5879.3] Jack: I don't know, like turtle.
[5880.82] Jack: It's quite cool.
[5881.7] Windestål: Oh, I know.
[5882.18] Windestål: Yeah.
[5882.34] Windestål: I know turtle too, cat and dog.
[5885.3] Windestål: Yay.
[5886.66] Windestål: Many, something like that.
[5888.1] Andy: I only ever learned swear words.
[5890.9] Tony: Yeah.
[5891.14] Tony: Well, so come on then Andy.
[5895.22] Andy: All I know from, and this was from school.
[5897.14] Andy: So it might mean some, something completely different, but it was, why don't you?
[5903.86] Jack: That's not you.
[5907.94] Andy: Jack, why don't you?
[5916.05] Andy: Why don't you go to, you know, have a sit down, have a relax, something like that.
[5921.09] Tony: There's a, um, a Chad Kepper posting in here.
[5924.45] Tony: Will David ever do a flog?
[5926.21] Tony: I don't know.
[5927.01] Tony: Someone's bringing something up.
[5928.53] Jack: David, you really do need to do it.
[5930.93] Andy: The rocket knife kind of is like a David vlog though, isn't it?
[5935.01] Andy: That's what he went.
[5936.05] Andy: Don't tell him out cheap.
[5938.93] Jack: Give him, the other side.
[5940.69] Windestål: My life is not terribly interesting.
[5943.65] Jack: Can I ask?
[5944.37] Jack: Edit for 20 hours.
[5945.89] Jack: We want to vlog as well.
[5947.49] Andy: Can I ask that in the last episode, I saw the rocket knife was broke.
[5952.77] Andy: Is that why you went to the rocket car and you're having to repair the knife?
[5957.41] Windestål: Not really.
[5959.01] Windestål: Like that was shot three weeks ago.
[5964.29] Windestål: Yeah.
[5964.53] Windestål: So we're fine.
[5965.41] Windestål: I had, I've had a spare forever and I used that knife in the next video.
[5973.01] Windestål: That's why I bought the bulletproof vest.
[5975.89] Windestål: So it's bulletproof and stab proof.
[5979.17] Windestål: And I took the knife and I pointed it forward.
[5982.53] Windestål: So that's the next episode.
[5984.05] Jack: Um, the lady who comes around and domesticates me was like really, I had to seem like sat me
[5991.01] Jack: down and she was like, please tell me he's not going to be wearing it.
[5993.65] Jack: And I was like, he's not that stupid and stuff like that.
[5997.09] Jack: I had to like convince her that you weren't going to stamp it yourself.
[6002.05] Windestål: No, we made a phone guy.
[6003.89] Jack: Yeah.
[6004.45] Windestål: So please tell me.
[6006.69] Jack: No, he didn't call it Jack.
[6009.89] Jack: Anyway, call it Hufflepuff.
[6014.37] Jack: A day in the life of Vlog.
[6016.85] Jack: Oh, come on, David.
[6018.37] Jack: You got an interesting life.
[6019.57] Jack: You got like words.
[6020.61] Tony: Do one, do one David.
[6022.21] Tony: Just like do one and see what happens.
[6026.45] Windestål: But then I have to kind of invent a fun life.
[6029.17] Windestål: Otherwise there's like six hours of me editing.
[6032.85] Windestål: That's not allowed.
[6033.73] Windestål: You can't invent a better life.
[6036.61] Windestål: I can go pretend to pick up coffee, but we don't have any coffee shops at all.
[6042.93] Windestål: It's 15 minutes to drive.
[6044.85] Jack: You should dementedly build yourself a little coffee counter.
[6048.21] Jack: I might serve yourself and like go around the counter, put an apron on.
[6052.29] Jack: Yeah.
[6052.53] Jack: What would you like?
[6053.41] Jack: And then you'd be like, uh, I don't even drink coffee.
[6057.09] Jack: Yeah.
[6057.57] Jack: I have a tea.
[6059.25] Andy: Maybe like a behind the scenes.
[6061.09] Andy: This is how I refill the rocket kind of thing.
[6064.05] Jack: No, no, you do not want to teach people that.
[6066.37] Jack: He will be, well, I want to know.
[6069.49] Andy: I want to build my own.
[6070.85] Jack: He's a nightmare.
[6072.05] Jack: He's like, I was hanging around with him with Sheldon's house and he'd like
[6074.77] Jack: look at ingredients and stuff and be like, yeah, that's an ingredient.
[6082.29] Jack: And then ball that off.
[6084.13] Jack: And I'm just like, oh my God.
[6090.21] Windestål: Yeah, but maybe we should still have the butane from
[6094.93] Windestål: yes.
[6095.41] Chad K: Wow.
[6095.89] Chad K: It's over.
[6097.81] Windestål: Wow.
[6099.01] Windestål: So there was a tiny bottle.
[6101.49] Windestål: Um, it wasn't butane.
[6102.93] Windestål: It was like something else to start with.
[6105.33] Windestål: And then I refilled that with butane.
[6107.73] Windestål: The problem was that it like normal pressure and atmosphere pressure.
[6114.37] Windestål: It didn't hold that much.
[6115.73] Windestål: So it didn't burn for too long.
[6117.17] Windestål: So what I did was I threw that one in the freezer and I put one of the butane,
[6123.17] Windestål: the big ones on Chad's stove when he was in a home.
[6127.73] Windestål: So it would get nice and hot.
[6129.81] Windestål: And then you connected the two and you got a lot in the small one.
[6135.49] Jack: Oh my God.
[6136.93] Jack: David, this is why we can't have nice things.
[6140.29] Windestål: I know.
[6140.77] Windestål: I didn't put that in the episode because putting a butane flask on a stove is not.
[6147.49] Jack: At least by Maria.
[6149.49] Jack: What the hell is wrong with you?
[6153.17] Jack: I don't know.
[6155.73] Tony: I already think Andy's got a really good idea there.
[6159.25] Tony: I think you should do it beyond a scenes day.
[6162.61] Jack: I'd vote that for president.
[6165.25] Tony: Doggy.
[6166.37] Jack: Doge.
[6167.81] Tony: Well, where's my one?
[6170.05] Tony: Let's see if I can get Junior up.
[6172.05] Jack: What happened to Andy RC?
[6175.01] Tony: Come here.
[6175.81] Tony: Flying.
[6176.45] Tony: Junior.
[6178.29] Tony: My dog's like ignoring me.
[6180.53] Tony: Junior, come here.
[6181.49] Jack: How's the cat?
[6184.05] Jack: Oh, what's his name?
[6186.05] Tony: Yeah, she just walked off.
[6187.41] Jack: No, Tom?
[6188.29] Jack: Yeah, that's it.
[6190.13] Chad K: Oh, she just got her junk fixed so she can't have kittens.
[6198.13] Jack: Oh, you had ovaries cut out.
[6201.01] Chad K: Yeah, or whatever they do.
[6203.49] Chad K: Is that called spade?
[6205.33] Jack: Yep, spade.
[6206.53] Chad K: Which one is fixed?
[6207.89] Chad K: She got fixed.
[6210.21] Windestål: Okay.
[6211.01] Jack: I was thinking about getting Tony fixed, but I think he's well past that now.
[6215.73] Jack: He stopped weeing on my stuff.
[6219.33] Andy: Did you see the Rick and Morty episode where they reverse the roles?
[6224.21] Andy: So like they took the dog and gave the dog super intelligence.
[6230.13] Andy: Yeah.
[6230.37] Andy: And then the dog was like, where are my testicles?
[6236.21] Andy: I thought that was a great episode.
[6238.69] Jack: That's what I've been pretty much quoting all day.
[6241.57] Jack: Landy R.C.'s busy daydreaming about Jack.
[6246.13] Andy: He saves that till the evenings, lads.
[6248.45] Jack: That's fine.
[6248.93] Andy: I don't know what that was about.
[6250.29] Andy: It just, yeah, I think just on my mind constantly.
[6253.89] Andy: And, you know, to my...
[6257.65] Andy: It being Thursday.
[6259.57] Andy: And then, you know, there's Brad Pitt and Jack and they sort of became one person.
[6263.73] Jack: It could have been worse.
[6264.61] Jack: It could have been Steven's a girl.
[6266.05] Jack: Wait.
[6267.97] Andy: Brad Pitt from Inglorious Basterds or Fight Club?
[6271.33] Andy: I don't know.
[6271.81] Andy: He's sort of, it was Brad Pitt and he got long hair and glasses, but, you know, it was...
[6277.97] Andy: I really can't explain what was going on there.
[6280.29] Andy: I wasn't in control.
[6281.41] Jack: I think you need therapy, man.
[6284.13] Andy: It was a nice dream.
[6285.17] Andy: I've had worse dreams.
[6286.77] Jack: Tony has a competition.
[6288.45] Jack: Tony, have you got a competition?
[6290.77] Tony: I have no idea what you're talking about.
[6293.73] Jack: Tony has competition.
[6295.33] Jack: I get it.
[6296.77] Jack: Oh, yeah.
[6298.37] Jack: Because of the secret...
[6299.73] Jack: We're all guy on the...
[6302.05] Windestål: Okay, Chad.
[6302.69] Windestål: I think you should do the Old Tech versus New Tech episode or just visiting Old Tech,
[6309.81] Windestål: like flying with just gyros and KK1 and go forward and that would be awesome.
[6315.17] Chad K: We would be here to do that.
[6317.17] Chad K: What?
[6317.97] Chad K: Nobody here could do that.
[6319.89] Chad K: Really?
[6321.17] Chad K: Did you just put it forward, Jack?
[6323.17] Chad K: Josh struggled on that big time when we built...
[6328.61] Windestål: Yeah, you sent pictures.
[6329.57] Windestål: You had a laser cut tricopter frame out of...
[6334.29] Windestål: Was it plexi or like mirror plexi?
[6338.69] Chad K: Yeah, it might have been...
[6341.49] Windestål: It wasn't sandbags on it.
[6345.73] Chad K: Yeah, but yeah, that was our gyros.
[6350.05] Chad K: I don't even have any gyros anymore.
[6352.69] Windestål: Yeah, they're still selling that hobby, King.
[6356.13] Chad K: Really?
[6357.09] Windestål: Yeah.
[6357.81] Chad K: The same ones, like $5 ones or cheap ones.
[6362.05] Jack: How do they talk to each other?
[6363.49] Jack: They don't, do they?
[6365.41] Chad K: No, they're just very simple.
[6366.77] Chad K: They just manage the throttle on that motor.
[6369.73] Windestål: Yeah.
[6369.97] Windestål: What the hell?
[6371.57] Jack: 50 hertz, man.
[6373.17] Jack: They are wizards.
[6375.17] Jack: Wizards.
[6376.37] Jack: Absolute with all mental case.
[6378.77] Jack: Can't really.
[6379.57] Jack: Very fine line.
[6380.93] Andy: There are people out there who still swear by the KK boards.
[6384.93] Andy: Oh, it's good.
[6386.21] Andy: Yeah, I think especially for tricopters as well,
[6389.25] Andy: because there's not been like a huge development for it.
[6392.45] Andy: I was reading from the comments of last week's video
[6396.37] Andy: and people were like, yeah, I'm still rocking a KK too.
[6400.37] Windestål: For the large tricopter, it's fantastic.
[6402.45] Windestål: Everything just flows around.
[6405.41] Jack: Yeah, it was...
[6407.33] Jack: Oh, what was it?
[6408.13] Jack: The Steve is flash.
[6410.29] Jack: Yeah.
[6410.85] Windestål: Yeah.
[6411.17] Windestål: 1.6.1.
[6412.45] Windestål: That was good stuff.
[6413.65] Jack: So good.
[6417.09] Jack: We've got a couple of them.
[6417.81] Jack: I'm going to ask you to read the question now.
[6418.93] Andy: I've got to read a question now.
[6421.57] Andy: I've not done this before.
[6422.69] Andy: I'm not trained.
[6425.65] Frank: In the little chat on the sides,
[6427.25] Frank: there's a question from Back Corner Quads,
[6429.73] Frank: if you want to ask that one.
[6432.13] Jack: It's the little blue speech bubble thing in the top.
[6436.69] Jack: Left-hand corner.
[6437.97] Jack: Click that, and then a chat will appear on the right.
[6441.01] Jack: I've got group chat, and I can see Shumdant Squid.
[6445.97] Jack: No, not Digby Dam, Black Corner Quads.
[6449.97] Andy: What was the most difficult episode?
[6452.13] Andy: Who's that for, though?
[6453.49] Frank: For Chad.
[6454.93] Andy: For Chad, what was the most difficult episode
[6457.65] Andy: that you've ever had to film?
[6459.57] Andy: Of Flight Test or Rhetorite?
[6461.73] Andy: I guess so.
[6462.61] Andy: I guess they haven't specified.
[6465.17] Andy: I think, I guess, I guess both run in each category.
[6469.89] Chad K: Flight Test, it was the package exchange.
[6472.93] Windestål: Oh, yeah.
[6475.65] Chad K: We probably have 50 hours of footage of nothing.
[6482.13] Windestål: No, it's not nothing.
[6483.41] Windestål: It's combat.
[6485.01] Windestål: Very calm combat.
[6486.85] Chad K: So the goal was to take a simple package
[6490.69] Chad K: from one aircraft and transfer it to another.
[6495.17] Jack: The sticks on the end and the package.
[6497.49] Jack: Oh, man.
[6498.69] Chad K: Every method imaginable.
[6500.69] Chad K: And here's the thing, I think almost any of them
[6503.65] Chad K: would have worked under the right conditions.
[6506.29] Chad K: Yes.
[6506.77] Chad K: But it was just cursed from the beginning.
[6509.57] Chad K: So no matter what happened, no matter what we tried,
[6513.81] Chad K: it just did not work.
[6516.69] Chad K: And yeah, I don't think it ever got finished, did it?
[6519.73] Windestål: Ever.
[6520.45] Windestål: We never, yeah, people got tired of flying the lead plane.
[6526.53] Windestål: I was just fine trying to pick up the package
[6529.89] Windestål: and then get frustrated and ram into the plane.
[6537.01] Chad K: Yeah, as far as Rhetorite, the most difficult episode
[6541.17] Chad K: by far was Guns vs. Drones.
[6544.05] Chad K: That's why you don't see more episodes like that.
[6547.57] Chad K: So time consuming.
[6551.73] Chad K: Because we shot it and edited like a TV show.
[6556.61] Chad K: Only less organization and less people and less money.
[6561.73] Chad K: So it's impossible.
[6565.73] Chad K: Like it pretty much takes your entire focus
[6568.21] Chad K: for like five weeks to make an episode like that.
[6571.57] Chad K: And we just can't.
[6574.77] Chad K: I mean, someday we will.
[6576.45] Chad K: We'll make more like that.
[6577.65] Chad K: But we have to be able to.
[6579.65] Andy: I read somewhere as well that you had to make it
[6582.05] Andy: sort of really easy for the people shooting as well.
[6585.01] Andy: But otherwise, they would never have shot them down.
[6588.93] Chad K: No, we said that.
[6593.97] Chad K: There were times like if we were doing something
[6596.45] Chad K: and it took a little while, the guys would fly in closer.
[6598.93] Chad K: And yeah, they would make it a little easier.
[6600.69] Chad K: But I'm telling you, these guys were good.
[6603.33] Chad K: When they hit the drones, we thought,
[6605.73] Chad K: there's no way they're hitting them with the pistols.
[6608.61] Chad K: And the plan was to kind of dumb it down
[6611.25] Chad K: till they could hit it.
[6612.93] Chad K: But they were hitting it way earlier than we expected.
[6616.13] Andy: Did you get any backlash from sort of, you know,
[6619.01] Andy: people complaining and things about, you know,
[6621.97] Andy: you shouldn't be doing this kind of thing.
[6623.65] Jack: Have you not seen the Roto Riot forum?
[6627.57] Jack: Like Chad, Chad could like put a plaster on his arm
[6635.17] Jack: and they'll be like, what?
[6639.33] Jack: Sorry.
[6640.13] Chad K: That's pretty accurate.
[6642.37] Jack: That's it.
[6644.77] Chad K: No, I would say, yeah, we did have some backlash
[6648.29] Chad K: before it was before it aired.
[6651.09] Chad K: So when people heard, all they had to hear was guns, drones,
[6654.93] Chad K: and people lost their minds.
[6657.01] Chad K: Once it aired, everybody calmed down
[6658.85] Chad K: because it looked like a TV show.
[6660.29] Chad K: And they're like, oh, and it made sense.
[6663.01] Chad K: And it was controlled environment and all that.
[6665.01] Chad K: I think they thought like we were going to go in my bathroom
[6667.49] Chad K: and try to shoot them or something.
[6672.85] Jack: Oh, man.
[6673.73] Jack: I asked N.J. how Pat Sharp was.
[6676.53] Jack: So if anyone's on the end.
[6678.45] Tony: Hello, N.J.
[6679.25] Tony: Because he's listening on the train.
[6681.49] Jack: Yeah.
[6682.13] Tony: Hello, N.J.
[6683.89] Tony: Hey, hello.
[6686.53] Tony: There you go.
[6688.21] Jack: He's the eye candy for the girls.
[6691.81] Jack: We're trying to convince him to like do a show with his top off.
[6696.13] Andy: And N.J. is a session musician and he plays guitar
[6701.09] Andy: for a lot of famous people out here, like Sophie Ellis-Bekster and Kim Wilde.
[6707.73] Jack: I said we wouldn't mention that.
[6709.81] Jack: So we can't riff him out.
[6711.17] Andy: No, I think it's amazing that he's a very talented man.
[6715.49] Andy: He's so humble about it, like, as well.
[6718.45] Jack: He's too talented for Let's Go now.
[6720.29] Jack: He's like lowering it.
[6721.65] Jack: This is charity work.
[6723.17] Andy: I couldn't believe it when I was like, what?
[6726.21] Andy: He's here?
[6727.09] Andy: I know.
[6727.97] Andy: He got totally bored with it.
[6729.33] Andy: Thanks. Thanks, Andy.
[6731.73] Andy: I'm kidding.
[6732.61] Andy: I'm joking.
[6733.73] Andy: N.J.'s awesome.
[6734.77] Andy: You guys are awesome.
[6736.85] Jack: David, are you up for like,
[6740.13] Jack: sporking something like a key way?
[6742.85] Jack: You know, rocket spork.
[6748.77] Windestål: Just for the thumbnail alone, yes.
[6753.41] Jack: I think it'll be really good.
[6755.41] Windestål: Rocket spork.
[6757.25] Frank: There's been a couple of suggestions in the chat for the rocket knife.
[6761.41] Frank: So Digby Dan suggested a rocket-boosted board.
[6768.37] Windestål: Yeah, I've been thinking about that.
[6769.57] Windestål: I wonder, it is literally like hitting it with a sledgehammer.
[6775.01] Windestål: Because it is 120 pounds of thrust.
[6778.85] Windestål: Wow.
[6779.49] Windestål: It's so standing on that board would be very interesting.
[6782.69] Windestål: I have no clue what would happen.
[6783.97] Jack: Can I put your brother to it?
[6785.25] Jack: I'm sure he's like made of rubber.
[6788.69] Windestål: No, there is no fat on that guy.
[6790.69] Windestål: Rocket brother.
[6794.05] Frank: And then Sundance Squid has suggested a rocket knife versus cutout of Chuck Norris.
[6801.41] Chad K: Do it.
[6802.61] Jack: And set it up so that it blows up on contact with the knife.
[6807.65] Jack: Or bowling ball bollocks on it.
[6811.89] Jack: It's the only thing that has stopped it so far.
[6815.25] Jack: Chad, I remember, you know, when you said like gun versus drones,
[6818.29] Jack: do you remember the servo BB paint gun wing?
[6824.21] Jack: That was so sick.
[6827.89] Windestål: That was a good one.
[6829.81] Jack: Yeah.
[6830.29] Jack: Did you set that up, David?
[6831.89] Chad K: Christian edited that one.
[6834.85] Windestål: Yeah, it was one of these first ones, right?
[6837.81] Chad K: Well, no, he had done it before that.
[6839.81] Chad K: That was, it was definitely more time into.
[6845.65] Chad K: Oh, it's pretty good.
[6846.93] Chad K: Then my bars come in.
[6850.05] Windestål: Yeah, then it cuts to everyone just standing around being really calm.
[6856.85] Andy: Can I ask about that?
[6859.01] Andy: So I watched the podcast with Chad before, and there was a subject that came up about
[6867.01] Andy: an episode of Road to Riot that got deleted and then put back.
[6870.77] Andy: And I watched that podcast and I was kind of like,
[6873.33] Andy: confused because it sort of missed out the sort of main guts of it.
[6879.25] Andy: So can you sort of elaborate on the episode and what happened?
[6886.61] Jack: It was a building dive.
[6888.45] Chad K: No, no, he's talking about a different one.
[6892.05] Chad K: It was the game of quad, right?
[6894.77] Andy: I just remember watching this podcast back and he talked about an episode that was.
[6900.69] Andy: Time frame.
[6902.61] Andy: Pardon?
[6903.65] Chad K: When was the timeframe?
[6905.89] Andy: Probably the last time you were on, I think.
[6908.21] Andy: And it was just about a video that got deleted and eventually got put back.
[6913.57] Chad K: Okay, so I'll speak about two of them.
[6915.33] Chad K: One was the building dive, which wasn't deleted.
[6918.61] Chad K: It was only marked unlisted because, so I started Road to Riot within a holding company
[6926.05] Chad K: called Lauren International.
[6927.49] Chad K: That's who owns Flighttest.
[6928.85] Chad K: That's where I sold my companies to.
[6932.93] Chad K: Now, we were in negotiations of me buying the company when we released that episode and it
[6939.25] Chad K: created all of this turmoil and people talking and people were afraid the FAA was going to
[6945.09] Chad K: contact us and all of this.
[6947.17] Chad K: So they asked that I make it unlisted.
[6950.45] Chad K: So I unlisted it.
[6952.37] Chad K: And once we finished the purchase and I completely owned Road to Riot, I relisted it.
[6959.73] Chad K: So it was unlisted for like two weeks or something like that.
[6963.57] Chad K: Now, there was another one where, oh boy, I'm trying to remember and forgive me if I get
[6972.45] Chad K: the details wrong, but I think it was Game of Quad.
[6975.65] Windestål: Yeah, swastika on the leg.
[6978.29] Chad K: Yeah, and Steele joked about Phil Freibach having a swastika on his leg, which he does
[6985.25] Chad K: not have a swastika on his leg.
[6987.49] Chad K: But because he's German, the joke was made.
[6991.57] Chad K: And a lot of people were really concerned that it would be insensitive to Germans.
[6998.21] Chad K: A lot?
[6998.77] Windestål: It was like, damn.
[7002.29] Chad K: Yeah, that's right.
[7003.17] Chad K: I was in the car.
[7004.13] Chad K: I was having the conversation.
[7006.37] Windestål: Yeah, because either everything is okay to joke about or nothing, in my opinion.
[7012.61] Chad K: So we had to take it down and cut that part out and re-upload it.
[7022.93] Chad K: Not that we think swastikas are funny, but I don't like censoring people is the thing.
[7027.81] Chad K: Like I'm going to say stuff I like.
[7030.61] Chad K: Just like Drew, he hit Willy's leg and he cut it.
[7033.97] Chad K: And I did not like that at all.
[7036.37] Chad K: I was very upset that day and I expressed that to Drew.
[7040.29] Chad K: I was upset that he didn't do it to Tony.
[7045.17] Chad K: I put it in the episode because it was my promise from the beginning to be transparent.
[7051.41] Chad K: So the only thing that gets cut out of episodes are things that affect other people that
[7059.73] Chad K: we respect that.
[7062.13] Chad K: So if somebody else is on the episode and they ask, please don't put that in, then we won't.
[7067.09] Chad K: But if it's up to me, everything goes in.
[7069.97] Andy: Yeah, no, I understand.
[7071.57] Andy: It's so difficult, isn't it?
[7073.25] Andy: Sort of trying to balance everything out.
[7075.33] Andy: I mean, I fly fairly close to an estate where I live and I get so much grief for it.
[7082.05] Andy: But I've been flying for long enough and there's an element of common sense in there.
[7086.45] Andy: You know, you see a lot of the videos on Road to Riot bouncing off buildings and things like that.
[7092.53] Andy: But one thing that you sort of have to take into consideration is the amount of expertise.
[7097.97] Andy: You sort of weigh up these things, don't you, when you do these kinds of tricks.
[7105.09] Andy: I've sort of come to a point where I know sort of where my limits are of safety.
[7113.01] Andy: But other people will interpret it as something else.
[7116.53] Chad K: Yeah, the way that I've always looked at it is we do stuff that might have consequences,
[7125.89] Chad K: but we always pay or would pay for those consequences.
[7131.33] Chad K: We know that going in and we're responsible in that sense.
[7135.73] Chad K: Now, harming others is over the line because how do you pay for that consequence?
[7140.69] Chad K: You know, it's so that...
[7143.09] Chad K: Get your ear fixed.
[7147.89] Chad K: Cut out his ovaries.
[7149.09] Jack: Yeah, I did not say ovaries.
[7156.85] Tony: Can Chad or David shout out to Chris Serk, please?
[7160.93] Tony: He wants to shout out.
[7162.53] Tony: Who is this?
[7164.45] Tony: Chris Serkle?
[7165.81] Tony: Serk, psych, psych.
[7170.37] Tony: Just say hi, Chris.
[7171.81] Jack: I read that as Serkil.
[7176.29] Tony: If you don't ask, you don't get.
[7177.65] Tony: There you go, Chris.
[7178.53] Tony: You got one.
[7181.09] Frank: Is there anything before we wrap up, is there anything that either of you two
[7184.85] Frank: want to plug that you've got coming up?
[7191.01] Chad K: You have the Roto-Riot show of you without watching or reading comments,
[7196.45] Chad K: because I'm amazed how much comments affect people's perspective.
[7201.73] Chad K: I've had people argue with me about what's in an episode because
[7205.17] Chad K: they read comments and they didn't watch the episode.
[7209.49] Jack: Who does that?
[7211.33] Jack: Everyone.
[7212.21] Jack: That's not going to a cinema or viewing the sea.
[7216.45] Jack: Do you know what I mean?
[7217.17] Jack: Just watching the sea.
[7219.17] Jack: Who does that?
[7219.81] Chad K: No, it's very common.
[7221.25] Chad K: People will read the comments and they act like they know what's happening.
[7224.85] Chad K: The problem is the comments are usually an emotional reaction to what
[7229.81] Chad K: the first people had watched.
[7232.53] Jack: Disclaimer.
[7233.41] Jack: Maybe you should be like, write you the pussy ass bitches.
[7237.09] Jack: Comments are not activated until 24 hours after this episode has been uploaded
[7244.05] Jack: till your hormones reach a safe and normal functioning level.
[7249.49] Jack: Tabons can be provided.
[7251.41] Jack: I'm going to put that on our disclaimer.
[7253.25] Jack: Tabons can be provided if you contact, wedoncare at rottoriot.co.uk
[7262.37] Jack: Mind you, I'm going to be wetting myself later once rottoriot find this
[7267.73] Jack: episode and put it in the forum.
[7270.93] Jack: I'm going to make effigies at me and stuff and fly into me and burn them and stuff.
[7275.33] Tony: Talking of that, I've got one over here.
[7279.57] Chad K: Is everyone here in the rottoriot forum?
[7283.25] Jack: Yeah, I think so.
[7285.25] Jack: Joe Jones FPV, can they have a shout out?
[7287.41] Tony: There's going to be a list of shout outs out.
[7291.73] Chad K: David, Joe Jones FPV.
[7297.25] Chad K: What? What's the name?
[7300.61] Jack: Jay Jones FPV.
[7304.37] Chad K: I'm confused.
[7305.49] Chad K: I thought he said Joe Jones.
[7307.65] Chad K: Yeah, Jay Jones.
[7310.45] Chad K: Jay Jones.
[7311.17] Windestål: Jay Jones.
[7311.97] Windestål: Okay.
[7312.37] Windestål: Hey, Jay Jones.
[7314.05] Jack: There you go.
[7315.01] Jack: Subscribe to him if you want.
[7316.85] Jack: There you go.
[7317.81] Jack: His channel is in there.
[7326.29] Jack: You're not allowed to watch his videos, just comment immediately
[7329.25] Jack: and make sure you're angry.
[7330.77] Jack: Just be like, I don't like the way you fly past those squirrels.
[7337.57] Jack: They run this world, have respect.
[7341.33] Andy: That is true.
[7342.37] Andy: If you watch the Rick and Morty episode, it shows.
[7346.13] Andy: They do.
[7346.61] Andy: Yeah, they do.
[7347.33] Andy: They run the world.
[7349.97] Windestål: Okay, trying to wrap up.
[7353.25] Jack: We're trying.
[7354.37] Windestål: We're trying.
[7356.45] Jack: David, I'm so sorry.
[7358.85] Tony: Thank you, guys.
[7359.81] Tony: From somewhere.

[7372.69] Jack: No, do you want to have a word with Drew
[7374.53] Jack: and see whether he wants to come on and defend himself?
[7378.53] Jack: Hang on.
[7378.93] Jack: Hang on.
[7379.97] Jack: Yeah.
[7380.37] Jack: Don't don't go.
[7381.97] Jack: Thank you.

[7437.25] Jack: Yeah.

[7446.05] Windestål: Oh, God.
[7449.25] Windestål: We were so close.
[7451.41] Windestål: Really good at the end.
[7452.93] Tony: You were in my dream last night, Jack.
[7478.13] Andy: I had the most bizarre dream last night.
[7485.41] Andy: This is not podcast material.
[7490.05] Andy: It's submitted now.
[7492.37] Andy: To cut a long story short, Jack was in my dream, except he wasn't Jack.
[7496.21] Andy: He was Brad Pitt.
[7497.41] Andy: And that's funny.
[7501.89] Andy: It was Brad Pitt with Jack's outfit in his, like, in Jack's room.

[7518.61] Windestål: Your mind, all that poster.
