[622.86] Curry: all-in-one cameras is is like literally night and day especially as we're getting sort of dimmer

[1174.18] Curry: pits they should just work if you've got decent gear and if they don't i'm like this is rubbish
[1178.5] Curry: so i i put some rubber washes in and that made it a bit better and then it's like it still wouldn't
[1182.98] Curry: work so like right i'm upgrading to beta flight 3.2 and i did the whole filter dynamic filters and
[1189.46] Curry: turn that filter off and that still wasn't good and i landed a load of times and did some tuning
[1194.1] Curry: and then i changed the props and i put but you know that um where you can do adjustments in the
[1199.62] Curry: air so i'm flying along literally watching the d values change the the adjustment stuff so you can
[1205.06] Curry: fly it on flick a switch because there's there's a twitch on the motors basically and it's like
[1210.74] Curry: right that's it forget it i'm fed up now we're we're taking it out and we're replacing it so
[1216.5] Curry: that's a major fail until i put it in a quad where it will work. Andy you actually hate it
[1222.82] Jack: because of the the goggle review have you received more death threats? No not really it was just it
[1230.5] Andy: it was just a very just what happened uh yeah so so like these these goggles came up on on banggood
[1240.66] Andy: and uh you know everyone i think everyone in the hobby is waiting for something to
[1248.1] Andy: take fat shark off the top because fat sharks are expensive and even though they're at the
[1254.9] Andy: even though they're at the top of the game there's a lot wrong with fat sharks that we're not happy
[1259.3] Andy: with but like just simple things like fat sharks can't switch between aspect ratios and they're
[1265.94] Andy: called the h they're called the hd and they're not hd so these top sky goggles were listed and on paper
[1274.9] Andy: looked fantastic they're like a 720p lcos so liquid crystal on silicon display so like ultra
[1285.94] Andy: clear they accept uh 5.8 gigahertz modules from um fat shark goggles but then it turned up and
[1297.94] Andy: just everything wasn't quite right and i think i had something like 200 pre-orders so i i spent
[1305.62] Andy: i like spent an entire i got them and i spent an entire day with them uh went through everything
[1311.78] Andy: individually and basically went on rc groups and just said it's not good news from what i've got
[1318.9] Andy: you know uh the the it's got a built-in dvr and oh it's david hey should be quiet now because
[1330.98] Andy: yeah keep going it was interesting okay so uh so so anyway anyway i've got a built-in dvr the dvr
[1338.66] Andy: runs at half speed so when you put so i did a i did a five minute flight and it the file came out
[1345.22] Andy: as a 11 minute flight um if you if you use an ntsc camera then it recorded nothing if you use
[1354.5] Andy: the power camera it worked but it cut the bottom off the screen on the dvr so basically so basically
[1361.86] Andy: on paper it looked great but it wasn't ready and people who pre-ordered it i think uh wanted to
[1369.06] Andy: defend it said like that me and nj gave a review that was too harsh and we were even review i've
[1376.66] Andy: watched both your reviews yeah i think yeah same saying look this is the problem but what i don't
[1384.26] Andy: want to happen is so so clearly what happened is they were sent out before they were ready
[1389.14] Andy: and uh i i always want to give a company a chance and i think what they're doing when i i actually
[1394.42] Andy: took mine apart to the point where they didn't work anymore and uh what they're doing is completely
[1400.02] Jack: different to fat show them to curry kitten it saves him just cuts the middleman out if he ordered
[1406.42] Jack: them they're not going to work anyway so he's no better off so so anyways hit them with a hammer
[1414.26] Andy: and then send it so like i i gave a like i thought i gave a balance review the problem is
[1420.98] Andy: the only good thing about it was that if you plugged in the hdmi in a very specific way you got
[1428.34] Andy: great video coming from your computer and that was that's all i could take away from it and
[1432.9] Andy: and i think people who pre-ordered it you know thought that maybe i didn't uh look look at any
[1441.46] Andy: positive aspects but there was only one positive from it but what i will say is they they're doing
[1446.42] Andy: something about it i believe that they've delayed shipping they're gonna uh supposedly um fix these
[1453.78] Andy: issues before they send anymore so then you've done a good job haven't you yeah yeah you're not
[1459.54] Andy: the song hero you're it was quite it was quite stressful and like like i was listening to you
[1465.62] Andy: guys early you definitely well i i hate receiving a bad product because i think you know when you
[1472.1] Andy: think someone's put work into that someone's put a lot of work into that and you're criticizing it
[1477.14] Andy: but then you've got the on the other hand you've got the customers who aren't going to be very
[1482.58] Andy: happy that your dvr doesn't work and that there's all sorts of problems with it so you have to be
[1486.98] Andy: honest but i'm not i'm not sure whether i'll get to check out the updated version because of what
[1491.86] Tony: i said but look you're doing it for the people the people yeah the proof you know when you watch
[1498.26] Tony: with you you don't want if you lied and said oh these are booming great yeah you know what's funny
[1504.82] Andy: though tony i because because i've got like i get to try all of the goggles and i wish it wasn't the
[1510.58] Andy: case that the fat sharks are the best but they they just are they still are yeah so i was getting

[6387.81] Andy: have your digital idle too low that you know how we have motor braking now in that it forces

[6401.25] Andy: have it too low if you do a roll what can happen is the the force of the motor slowing down can
[6410.05] Andy: actually stop the motor if your idle speed's too low and you'll have what people call a flip of
[6416.05] Windestål: death where the motion stops yeah yeah yeah and that's why you can tune the that's why you can
[6427.81] Tony: tune the idle speed that's why it's there yeah absolutely so you get the flip of death or whatever
[6436.37] Tony: the spin you can just increase it a tiny bit nothing up and up until you don't get that anymore
