[99.47] Johnny: it was one of your big channels quite small i didn't looked at it in a while but i assume it's
[103.15] Johnny: pretty pretty big but like i'm thinking over two years ago yeah yeah it's been going for some while

[120.03] Johnny: never knew that that's awesome yeah this is actually because you know that was going to be
[127.31] Andy: on the uh the podcast so this is kind of funny no that that's awesome that's great i was just
[133.15] Andy: looking at your channel you've got incredible number of subscribers that's so awesome yeah
[139.71] Johnny: it's been drawing a lot it's uh just making those fp videos a lot of fun awesome so um so you were
[147.39] Andy: talking before we came on air you were talking about race flight yourself so your you can get
[153.63] Andy: is that your main setup johnny race flight rig opposed to kiss and beat a flight yes kiss i used
[160.83] Johnny: so when i started um like making a lot of videos and why not i was using that was two years ago
[168.67] Johnny: and then a year ago i think it was a race flight and uh i found a firmware that i really liked i
[175.71] Johnny: think it's it's called 222 or rc12 right year old and it's just what i've been using ever since
[183.63] Johnny: so it's kind of funny they come out from where every
[188.51] Johnny: and i'm people are always asking what's the best why should i upgrade and i just tell them go to
[194.99] Johnny: something that works i use 222 super old and it flies amazing so there you go top tip to tony
[201.87] Frank: don't update your firmware and then it doesn't break your webcam either i had to i was i'm all
[207.71] Tony: all keeping on old firmware i was on beta flight 216 for ages because it just flew nice and then
[213.95] Tony: what's the point of upgrading right yeah seriously so but i had to because um i installed crossfire
[221.63] Andy: so i had no choice so johnny any any sort of drone event that i see a lot of people that i
[227.95] Andy: i always see a picture of yourself flash up so i'm guessing that um you get around quite a lot
[233.55] Andy: and get a lot of flying go to quite a lot of events and stuff would that be right yeah yeah
[239.31] Johnny: i mean uh so drone racing or freestyle and just all of this stuff it's my full-time job
[245.23] Andy: so you were explaining how you sort of got into all of this and how you progressed and things
[250.27] Johnny: should we carry them from there all right so about two and a half years ago i was a freshman
[256.35] Johnny: in university of denver in colorado in the united states whatever i was as a freshman
[263.95] Johnny: and the world pre-happened that was i don't know do you guys remember that is that the dubai event
[270.11] Johnny: yeah no i think yeah yeah it was yep i had been flying i don't know for half a year at that point
[278.03] Johnny: just kind of casual kind of just chilling having fun like fpv was the coolest thing ever at that
[283.07] Johnny: point but uh that that event whatever it took off and i randomly got hit up um there was a
[290.03] Johnny: small drone company which is pretty much gone now but they were super ambitious and they wanted to
[297.31] Johnny: sponsor a team in the world drone pre that point like they invited me and i basically
[303.47] Johnny: higher life behind and went to dubai a month before the race and just focused exclusively
[310.35] Johnny: on drone racing ever since so i could go into all the details about whatever how i progressed but
[315.55] Andy: that's that's pretty much it that's that's a pretty big decision because it's it's sort of a
[321.47] Andy: it's such a niche thing as well isn't it it's not like it's not like with formula one or anything
[326.51] Johnny: like that you know so yeah like two and a half years ago when this big event happened it was
[333.63] Johnny: you know one tenth the size so thing to do now and it was fine but it's something i was
[341.79] Johnny: super passionate about like you know everyone and all you guys as well doing this podcast
[348.59] Johnny: which is a thing you know takes a lot of effort to put this on i'm sure
[352.51] Johnny: but it's the same type of thing just fell in love with it and took that leap of faith
[356.59] Frank: yeah awesome you've been doing stuff with both um dcl and dl1 i believe
[364.03] Johnny: the those are both obviously much more recent so dr1 was well dr1 initially started
[372.83] Johnny: in 2016 i want to say i don't remember exactly but it was either 2016 or 2017 early 2017
[381.31] Johnny: and there was an event um in california televised type thing that was really cool and then they
[392.43] Johnny: just started up again and had their big racing super europe and in the united states and it's
[398.19] Johnny: been on uh hero sports and games i think and then ecl is uh their championship just finished and
[407.23] Johnny: now it's really really cool to be a part of do you do any professional racing i'm not super
[412.19] Andy: familiar with you guys you're all doing what we want to do yeah i think i think i think johnny
[419.87] Andy: said uh do it do any of us do any racing tony you do racing right i do race but not um not not on a
[427.47] Tony: professional level like tv cameras and things like that i've done i've done a tv advert which
[434.35] Tony: was pretty cool experience for it that was pretty cool oh god well it was um it was four drones
[445.15] Tony: flying around past tv's and stuff like that it was uh it was good it was a good advert it was
[451.55] Frank: good um good experience so because i think you did one with uh banney didn't you johnny
[457.87] Johnny: and let's see was it it was one yes so i have a my biggest sponsor supporter is airhogs they're a
[467.55] Johnny: toy company based out of canada uh little rc drones and toys and they had a commercial um luke
[477.63] Johnny: is also a airhogs we're in a commercial together which was super cool really fun to be um in in
[486.83] Johnny: filming and in that environment and experiencing that side of like whatever advertising and uh
[494.75] Johnny: all that good stuff so i'm great friends with luke that was yeah he was a nice young lad
[501.63] Johnny: luke's awesome do you guys do any of you know him like personally or just on
[506.03] Tony: uh yeah i've raced with him a few times what lost to him a few times
[510.99] Johnny: yeah he's ridiculous yeah luke's awesome yeah i was just we were where he just so obviously
[519.31] Johnny: he was at the dcl thing too and he basically there's two next plates teams the racing team on
[526.83] Johnny: plates and so they had two things in dcl and uh luke's we were on different the two different
[534.11] Johnny: next plate teams the luke basically carried his entire team to victory
[538.83] Johnny: and 150 000 pounds or euros so that was pretty awesome to see have you um heard anything about
[547.47] Frank: the um fai championship next year that's going to be in shanzhen do you know i haven't heard
[556.43] Johnny: anything about that what on with that sounds awesome so this is going to be the sort of
[561.95] Frank: official fai one um i think they're still working out some details so i guess we'll probably hear
[568.11] Frank: a bit more in january well i particularly uh thought you might be interested in because you
[575.15] Frank: do have a bit of a reputation for having a go at it at the freestyle as well as the racing um
[581.95] Johnny: oh yeah freestyle that's you're talking about all the build up guys how are they going to do
[587.55] Frank: international formal freestyle competition um freestyle is my that's like what i do that's
[599.31] Johnny: kind of what i'm known for but i absolutely despise freestyle competitions i hate with
[607.23] Johnny: all my part in soul i just there's there's no there's no proper way to judge them like freestyle
[615.79] Johnny: it's very um it's very personal and everyone has their opinions and it's just there's no like
[623.95] Johnny: standardized way to do it i don't think there ever will be um unless you freestyle a racetrack and
[630.83] Johnny: first one gets the end wins exactly exactly do you guys do more freestyle than uh racing or is it
[642.27] Tony: i i try a bit of both i've only just been doing freestyle for the last sort of six or seven
[648.11] Tony: months um not got very many tricks but i am quite enjoying it now i've uh i've never actually
[656.19] Andy: uh done a race in fact i've only ever gone through one race course that i set up myself
[662.67] Andy: on the field so um i'd love to get involved in it it just seems like such a you know how how does
[670.11] Andy: one go about getting into it and and you know it seems like a very lucrative uh thing to get
[677.39] Andy: like it seems invite only in some cases you know so um i'd love to see it be more popular as
[685.23] Andy: when you see these races happen there doesn't seem to be a huge spectator base it's more sort
[690.91] Andy: of about um the pilots and and maybe and maybe maybe that i mean the pilots will be vlogging
[697.23] Andy: their experience but other than that it's all sort of like that's the feeling i get that it's
[702.03] Andy: more sort of an online thing than something that you experience have you found that to be the case
[708.67] Johnny: as well being involved in it yeah absolutely it's they're trying to break into or uh the big race
[716.67] Johnny: organizers and the companies who are trying to get behind this and see if it's a viable
[722.19] Johnny: spectator sport and something that can be produced they're trying like desperately to
[726.51] Johnny: get there and it's proving to cost a lot of money a lot of time and a lot of just general
[733.39] Johnny: investment but it's it's getting there it's slowly growing obviously obviously there's more and more
[739.31] Johnny: pilots every day but obviously like you said it's it's hard to get into drone racing and if you're
[745.55] Johnny: watching drone racing on tv and you have no idea what's going on it's hard to become passionate
[750.75] Tony: about it that's the worst bit more and more people makes me look more pants
[758.91] Tony: that's the only problem i see about more people coming in i look more rubbish every day
[765.31] Andy: i think for me as well i think like you have to be really good at managing
[771.39] Andy: like stress and anxiety i think because i i've only i've only ever i've been to races i actually
[777.47] Andy: was at weston park and i watched luke do a race and i was sort of sat you know behind the fence
[784.27] Andy: kind of thing and i'm hearing the the the beeps go as it starts like my heart's pounding for the
[791.31] Andy: guys and and i'm just watching so i think uh do do you get kind of when you do races do you get
[798.83] Andy: stressed or or is it like do you actually find it fun or what is your experience when it comes to
[806.83] Johnny: a little bit of everything i mean of course when you start like it's where your fingers are shaking
[813.31] Johnny: mad and yeah it's hard to control the drone like you'll be doing all right on your own in a park by
[820.27] Johnny: yourself whatever fine it's and even it's it's like a fun thing like it's a casual thing but
[827.07] Johnny: just that atmosphere and the competitive nature of racing and whatever it's scary it totally is
[834.03] Johnny: um you you definitely get used to it and then it just becomes a natural thing um but still
[841.07] Johnny: like the energy is always there you know for luke the energy the adrenaline that he experiences
[847.95] Johnny: and feels it's the same it's just you get used to it and you learn to i don't know you know
[853.71] Andy: compensate zone out maybe sort of get in your happy place get a bit happy before you do it
[859.87] Johnny: where you just focus just like anything else and you know you know when you die
[864.83] Tony: and you're supposed to have flashbacks beep so i'm gonna hear them
[873.55] Andy: that's the thing stopping me that's the thing stopping me from doing it because we've got some
[877.55] Andy: events coming up here in the uk we've got the drone crusaders event and i thought oh should i
[882.35] Andy: put myself forward but then i thought actually i don't think i'd i don't think i'd sleep the
[886.67] Andy: night before i don't think i'd be able to enjoy it so i thought oh i'll let tony i'll let tony get
[892.03] Tony: stressed instead and i'll watch him come on and he says you're gonna be you're gonna be stressed
[899.15] Frank: whatever come on andy i'm i'm gonna try racing jack's good i've forced jack into trying to race
[908.43] Andy: i might have a go around the circuit but i'll make it i'll make a fool of myself i'm sure because
[913.47] Andy: it's like the the racing side of it is so different to freestyle like the how you have
[918.91] Andy: to have your camera angled and it you could you fly the quad completely differently i find i'm not
[924.59] Johnny: going to oh yeah so you're right i mean it's it's two different games um but they're both like so
[934.35] Johnny: much fun once you get past that initial is scary and it's different once you kind of get into it
[941.23] Johnny: it becomes just another another drone thing and it's it's awesome man you should try you should
[946.91] Andy: try to go and get into it a little bit do you do you kind of have secrets that like sort of
[952.43] Andy: get you ahead of other people that you that you wouldn't tell other people like oh this is the
[958.75] Andy: this is the optimum camera angle for getting around a track or or this is how you have your
[965.07] Andy: weight distribution so you can get off the line quicker or other things like that that
[970.03] Tony: or this is the pill you take before the race to come this is the green stuff you smoke yeah
[978.59] Johnny: yeah i know take take a bunch of adderalls before the race and
[984.03] Johnny: yeah no there's there's no secrets it's it's kind of funny there's no
[988.11] Johnny: like generally like a general camera tilt in a competitive race five degrees or 50 degrees
[995.23] Johnny: but it's all personal it's all personal preference and it's something you have to figure out
[999.55] Tony: yes do you have any um special clothes that you wear like lucky
[1006.35] Tony: socks or any rituals because i like the ritual when i say i have to sit down and fly because
[1013.23] Tony: i can't stand up especially racing and i have to make sure things are out my pock here and then i'm
[1018.83] Tony: got put my um tx on my lap in the right position and yeah yeah things like that nothing crazy like
[1027.87] Andy: i don't race butt naked or anything but that could work definitely put some people off i think
[1036.51] Andy: get an advantage maybe speak for yourself i think like the positioning of the radio how it sits in
[1045.31] Johnny: your lap it just comes down to what you're used to and you're you know you want to be in your most
[1050.91] Andy: familiar environment yeah so i find my i find myself the only sort of bit of racing that i've
[1057.47] Andy: done was on the uh the fpv event simulator before it became road to rush there was um
[1065.55] Andy: a load of sort of like top pilots names who'd had to go with that like i i think you you might have
[1071.15] Andy: been on there i think i know luke definitely was on there and i was trying to beat his time
[1076.43] Andy: and literally like i i don't know if it was because of concentration or what but i got
[1081.47] Andy: was serious cramped in my hand fun cramp just just from straining like and and like i'm like
[1088.67] Andy: biting my tongue like like this you know i'd be terrible at race dribbling and i was dribbling
[1096.11] Andy: yeah no i don't know my point was there but oh yeah but but like do you have to when you're
[1104.91] Andy: doing your racing do you have to sort of be conscious of that because uh or maybe that's
[1110.83] Andy: is it just me or do you get strained when you're going around the trap because you've been so
[1115.31] Andy: precise with the sticks and you're putting a lot of energy through your hands which you have to be
[1119.71] Andy: sort of um mindful not to sort of like cramp up your hands when you're racing yeah no it it does
[1128.11] Johnny: not happen to me oh that's just me this is why i shouldn't do it and it's yeah i know again it's
[1135.55] Johnny: the same thing like you get used to it and when you're racing you want to be as calm as possible
[1140.75] Johnny: yeah do you practice on any sims i personally don't would probably be probably help honestly
[1147.79] Johnny: i'm just not a huge fan of simulators it's just not too realistic but yeah sure it might help
[1154.43] Frank: um how's the weather where you are is it fairly reliable can you generally go out and get a
[1160.27] Johnny: battery in or yeah you like the rain well uh well in the winter it's a little chilly i'm in
[1165.95] Johnny: atlanta georgia i just moved here like seven months ago or something so um it's pretty far
[1173.87] Johnny: south in the united states so in the winter it's not too cold and in the summer it's really hot so
[1179.71] Andy: uh you know so you're always going you're now local to like schizo and steel and all those
[1186.51] Johnny: guys then was that the idea behind that um i am not really do you know nick willard wild willy
[1195.47] Johnny: yeah yep yeah so i'm roommates with him and um oh wow we're good friends
[1204.91] Johnny: and then whatever as a bonus you also have schizo and steel and kevin and
[1211.39] Andy: the gang yes sir the gang yeah we're basically the uk version of that that's who we're
[1218.27] Tony: here definitely right on right on right until i feel i has asked john are you guys all local to
[1228.03] Andy: each other uh we haven't even met each other in respect in respect to uh how big america is
[1235.87] Andy: we're local to each other we're all as seen as england's only 900 miles across or whatever sorry
[1241.71] Andy: great britain 900 miles across then uh we're all local but i haven't met any of these people
[1249.39] Andy: i met i met i met jack and i missed andrew we're at the same event but we seem to always be at the
[1255.95] Andy: opposite ends of the field that sucks but um we we are hopefully going to meet up this weekend
[1265.47] Andy: depending on the weather because we've got a forecast snow here uh for all three days which
[1270.99] Frank: is typical in the uk snow it means everything stops yes time to get into your bunkers
[1277.95] Tony: rain or rain it's freezing people panic by bread and milk and that's it that's ridiculous
[1285.87] Tony: yeah um johnny um brighten to the fly the um the normal co-host on here who we miss dearly
[1293.95] Tony: the great yeti he asked um don't you ever worry about getting your quad back from freestyling
[1300.83] Johnny: around the cranes if you ever crash i mean i i don't worry about it of course if i did crash
[1306.75] Johnny: it would probably be unrecoverable you can totally like now that it's kind of funny i'm looking at
[1312.83] Johnny: that same complex where that crane is the condo or building is nearly it's at its full height or
[1319.23] Johnny: whatever so it's pretty much finished um but you know if i had crashed in those crane videos it
[1326.35] Johnny: would likely be gone unless i wanted to trespass and like test my luck of navigating the uh building
[1332.51] Andy: but um is it just a case of pull another one out the back who cares if it gets lost kind of thing
[1340.35] Johnny: it's all about getting the not at all i wish it was like that like i have great sponsors and
[1346.19] Johnny: supporters but of course one you know drone that's what 400 out of their pockets and then an
[1353.23] Johnny: additional 300 for my gopro so you know i i like to push the limits i like to risk things and do
[1361.47] Johnny: things to try and whatever wow people but um never get too close i don't know usually pretty
[1368.43] Andy: aware of the surroundings that's important so um who are your main sponsors then johnny
[1374.03] Johnny: for sure my biggest sponsor is airhogs the toy drone company yeah and um they're really awesome
[1380.51] Johnny: to work with and then the whatever the uh parts and uh manufacturers got luminaire just came out
[1388.91] Johnny: with my brand new motor with them yeah there is uh habit or not how we go futaba the radio
[1397.55] Johnny: manufacturer switched to their radios maybe for three or four months ago how are you finding them
[1406.03] Frank: because um it's not particularly common at least in the uk and uh it's not common it's
[1412.51] Andy: not common in the fpv community but when i was flying on the line for 20 for 20 i mean all it
[1419.55] Andy: was everything was futaba all you had heard was futaba futaba was the best things you had when you
[1425.31] Johnny: had a radio or whatever yeah i love them they're super nice obviously and they're making a bigger
[1431.23] Johnny: or a pretty big push into drone racing and the fpv community
[1435.95] Johnny: a sponsor there was a multi-gp um international open which they were the the title sponsor of
[1443.95] Johnny: so they were definitely pushing and they came out recently with some smaller receivers for
[1448.03] Johnny: racing drones and uh i dig them man that radio feels so nice in the hands so yeah i've still
[1454.83] Andy: got a futaba radio i've had it for 20 they don't make any more i've i've got it i've had it for 25
[1463.07] Andy: years and it's it's it still works and is in great quality so they they make good quality
[1469.55] Andy: well they used to make good quality radio i don't know i don't know about i don't know about now but
[1474.35] Andy: they're there i think the reason why it's not so popular in fpv is because like
[1478.91] Andy: we break a lot of stuff and we're cheap skates so the tyrannis does a similar sort of thing it's
[1484.67] Andy: not as good quality but it's s bus and uh which which futaba is i think that's where s bus came
[1490.91] Andy: from isn't it futaba originally so i love futaba i'd love to uh it's futaba if you're listening if
[1496.75] Andy: you're after as a sponsor i'm not i'm not sponsored by anyone but that's because i don't race
[1503.95] Tony: it's um futaba i think their protocol is quite fast isn't it i got told that it was futaba
[1511.55] Tony: it's called fast isn't it and then orange and then and tyrannis was the third one on the list
[1518.67] Johnny: for speed or latency barely certain tyrannis is the slowest obviously the train is reliable
[1526.27] Andy: yeah the um the the fly sky protocol is much quicker the eyebash lightning oh yeah there's
[1532.67] Andy: if you if you look up um fly sky versus tyrannis there's some uh i can't remember the chap's name
[1538.59] Andy: but like uh fly sky was way ahead of tyrannis when it came to their their eye bus um so yeah
[1545.79] Andy: oh yeah they've got some work to do um i think we just go with um free sky because
[1551.15] Andy: bruce simpson told us to some time ago yeah they are reliable though they are reliable
[1557.87] Tony: tyrannis can go you know their stuff goes far and i've never had a single dropout i've never ever
[1563.87] Tony: had anything drop out of the sky using that so but i did notice the latency from um uh normal
[1572.83] Tony: s bus to now using um crossfire oh yeah i think i would but i definitely can yeah the futaba stuff
[1582.11] Frank: is they famously have very very nice gimbals they do maybe yes just nice radio in general
[1590.67] Tony: nice quality etc yeah um what else was i was going to ask johnny something i completely
[1596.75] Tony: forgot oh do you do you um watch envo astro um do his torture tests on any of the batteries
[1603.63] Johnny: yeah i've seen a couple of those he's funny he's funny um i have and some of the thunder powers
[1610.03] Tony: have like absolutely failed he's um last sugar puff ones that that was uh um one of the reasons
[1621.31] Johnny: like the i think all the tattoo packs they have the little steel plates in them um um
[1630.11] Johnny: and i know the thunder powers don't it saves a little bit of weight
[1632.99] Johnny: and i think they actually just re-sent him he did those the the sugar rush ones and they puffed up
[1639.39] Johnny: so i think thunder powers sent him the identical packs back with plates inserted between the uh
[1647.31] Tony: yeah that's right he he's uh yeah i'm looking forward to that upload of his i'm sure he's um
[1652.51] Johnny: that'll be interesting actually because maybe all the cells are fairly similar and it's just how
[1658.91] Johnny: uh barrier on the side keeps the tattoos from puffing who knows who knows but he's um he's
[1665.79] Tony: very aggressive with them i mean he he takes them as soon as they land he puts them straight on
[1669.95] Tony: charge at seven amp and high voltage so yeah it's not exactly nice i mean i'm when i'm racing and
[1677.39] Tony: um i want my packs ready again i'm charging at three or four amps but never seven yeah not for one
[1684.75] Johnny: yeah not for one yeah me either it's a little it definitely hurts the batteries
[1693.23] Tony: let's put um do any of you guys in the chat want to ask any um questions um for johnny
[1702.03] Andy: i've got a question johnny um have you got any events coming up uh before christmas or what's
[1707.55] Andy: your next sort of um challenge should i say where i'm going to um there's one more thing in the
[1715.63] Johnny: i guess in 2017 i'm going to japan for a little it's so it's like a one verse one like
[1724.11] Andy: the top pilot in japan i love how you're just like i love how nonchalant is oh i guess i guess

[2048.83] Andy: cloning route and sometimes you end up paying double if you go down that route because they're
[2053.23] Andy: not as good quality and you know sometimes it's worth paying the extra that's a good point it's
[2058.67] Ash: a good point buy cheap buy twice if you buy something that's very cheap it's going to break
[2063.47] Ash: at some point but i do remember the first time i saw somebody racing a really well spec quad
[2068.43] Ash: and i'm asking them how much did that cost and they said 400 pounds and i thought ouch i couldn't
[2072.99] Ash: spend that but the the clone stuff is a good way of getting you into the hobby but like anything
[2077.39] Ash: once you're into it you realize the downside of cloning and then you buy the better quality
[2082.11] Ash: stuff because you know it's going to last yeah i don't think cloning cloning hardware will never
[2087.39] Ash: replace the good quality stuff but it's a good entry point a little bit like you can't buy a
[2092.19] Ash: Volkswagen Golf so you buy a Skoda first because it's the same running gear and then when you can
[2098.51] Frank: you buy a Golf i guess the the the argument there is that you've got um you know the same
[2109.23] Frank: of Golf and Skoda and so you know they're literally the same parts but with a different
[2116.43] Frank: badge on the front slightly tweaked code so they're not quite as good um whereas on this case

[2322.11] Andy: saw a lot of the money or something like that is that is that an issue with with some of these
[2326.67] Johnny: events or or has that changed since the first one no it wasn't um it was actually wasn't ever an
[2333.95] Johnny: issue i guess it was but it took them a while to send all the money obviously it was quite a
[2339.71] Johnny: significant amount yeah i mean the dubai prize was 250 grand and that was luke's winnings and
[2347.79] Johnny: the um whatever the exploits team split it between themselves wow they only got about
[2354.35] Johnny: five each because they had they had i think 11 or nine teams of like four pilots each
[2361.55] Johnny: but um it is possible to make a living winning races it is very difficult i think there's only
[2369.31] Johnny: um i had a handful of guys who have managed to do it like there's this kid in korea i he's the best
[2377.47] Johnny: drone racer in the world in my opinion um mentioned him yeah he's yeah i've seen he's lower than so
[2384.43] Johnny: and stuff it is amazing right he pretty much wins um like 75 of the races he goes to
[2392.83] Johnny: maybe even more of that and some like in korea in asia the prize pools are quite big
[2398.19] Johnny: so if you're in the right places and you have the support to get to races like the top guys do you
[2402.99] Johnny: you can't make a living for sure but it's it's again very difficult how when you've got people
[2407.55] Ash: like that that you're racing against johnny how does that affect you like does it drive you to
[2411.39] Ash: get better and better or at some point do you start to feel i'm never going to beat this guy
[2416.75] Johnny: how how's it yeah with with the kid like minchan you get the feeling that you're never going to
[2422.67] Johnny: beat him i mean for sure you could beat anyone like on any given day but you're you know you're
[2430.11] Johnny: the actual chance of beating a chan realistically is probably five and um but of course it drives
[2438.03] Johnny: you man i do this full time you know i would call myself more of a freestyle pilot but i'm
[2443.79] Johnny: also you know racing is going to help me do this for a long time so it drives you it definitely
[2451.71] Tony: you got to be competitive but if i spent more money on their racetrack than they did on pilots

[2563.55] Ash: world so it's really too early to tell i think if you think about it as well we're talking about
[2569.23] Ash: two clones it does get more people interested because it's affordable i mean you can go out and
[2573.47] Ash: buy a cheap clone and ear sheen fpv quad with goggles and everything for under 50 pound 50
[2579.47] Ash: dollars now it gets people interested in it and that will get more people wanting to watch it
[2584.51] Ash: for sure sponsors will want to sponsor it i i think in the next five to ten years
