[192.48] Miss Creature: I was boring my boyfriend's quad. It was officially when I got my first quad built and
[198.8] Miss Creature: started to actually fly but still kind of not doing it daily like I should be.
[205.04] Curry: But yeah it's been about a year. Why are you doing daily? Because the last video I saw from you
[210.72] Curry: you seem to be taking apart a car. Yeah. You seem a huge area to mess around in there.
[217.6] Miss Creature: You look good. I've been in the cars for a really long time and that's all I've really done.
[225.92] Miss Creature: Do Hoonigan stuff. But so I'm trying to get my project car going and get it finished so I'm
[233.12] Miss Creature: going to be working on that. And then we got our property out here to fix up and take care of
[238.4] Miss Creature: chickens and all that stuff. So it takes up a lot of time. Wasn't there a weird thing about

[412.96] Curry: of cars ends at put petrol in here and steering wheel thing but it looked like you were taking
[417.28] Curry: the wheels off into the forest to execute them or something. I wasn't sure what was going on.
[422.32] Curry: Why were you taking them into the forest? What was going on with that? We don't have to have
[426.72] Miss Creature: like a full. We don't have a full shop so we use the trees to our advantage. What I was doing was
[434.4] Miss Creature: taking the axles out of the rear end so I could inspect everything because it's supposed to be a
[441.36] Miss Creature: two-way LSD rear end which is great but. Literally it's differential by the way. Yeah exactly.

[583.6] Curry: to get better and they they're going to do it. What's that little popular wing they do though?
[588.24] Andy: Is it called like the Xumo? Xumo. There's like the bonsai yeah I think they got some new versions
[596.32] Andy: of that coming out. I'm just thinking was it your channel Wayne where you had that
[606.4] Andy: wing that was like a quadcopter at the same time. Was that like an e-chine model or something?
[611.04] Curry: Yeah that's the e-chine mirage default or something it's called. That looked I mean
[616.4] Andy: it looked great but then when you flew it it seemed like the flight control was a little bit
[621.2] Curry: sketchy. It's a little bit sketchy but when it when it worked it was so weird to look at because
[626.4] Curry: you're just like it's flying like a quad and then you flick a button. It had that really weird
[630.4] Curry: flight mode called horizontal flight mode where it would absolutely stay horizontal and you didn't
[635.6] Curry: have any a-long control and it only worked with differential thrust to do rudder so it would go
[640.72] Andy: around absolutely flat like this. So weird. Yeah yeah that looks interesting. I'd love to do more
[646.88] Andy: fixed wing stuff but I like aerobatic so I want to get I want to years ago I saw this this guy
[653.36] Andy: he got like a extra 300 and kicked it out with a GoPro and did like head tracking and all sorts
[660.48] Andy: and I always wanted to go at that. It's just the amount of space and the amount of time it takes
[664.88] Andy: up to do it but when people do FPV with fixed wing it is just usually a wing or sort of like a
[673.2] Andy: trainer plane and I don't know why like I mean our our quads our mini quads are the aerobatic
[680.16] Andy: you know machines. Why aren't we doing the same with fixed wing? Why why is that? I think wings
[687.2] Curry: tend to be the most sort of I think people tend to use them as the most aerobatic and faster stuff
[693.44] Curry: but there's plenty of people sort of flying big things like mini talons are still very popular
[698.56] Curry: for doing any sort of range jobs although not particularly aerobatic as you say. I've always
[703.92] Curry: liked the idea of doing something sort of very scale. I like the ones with the little sort of
[709.36] Curry: pilots inside and having extra cameras just to watch you know landing gear go up and that sort
[714.24] Curry: of stuff. I think that would be interesting but there's so much time invested in doing it.
[718.24] Andy: It's funny because that sort of the whole scale sort of side of RC is usually kept at line of
[725.68] Andy: sight but I saw somebody had fitted a camera an FPV camera to a jet and that was absolutely
[734.08] Andy: amazing because a jet doesn't have well pretty much has no vibrations whatsoever so like the FPV
[741.76] Andy: feed and the HD feed was was amazing. I think we're missing a trick there but jets yeah they're
[749.36] Andy: they can get expensive and stuff but that's something I want to look at. I mean I've got a
[753.52] Andy: little 3D foam aircraft with the meaning to put a camera on it for ages and to do some light
[760.72] Andy: kind of like what we do with the quadcopters but with a plane. There's wings you might think
[766.08] Andy: they're aerobatic but compared to an actual 3D aerobatic model they're quite docile I find them
[772.64] Andy: more for sort of speed rather than aerobatic. I think the problem is that when you get into
[778.08] Curry: the 3D stuff that is predominantly line of sight because of course you you don't know where you
[783.92] Curry: if you did that with a camera on you'd just be like where the hell am I I'm just sort of staring
[787.68] Andy: at the camera and stuff. Kind of with the 3D stuff but not with like there's pattern aerobatics as
[794.08] Andy: well so that's more similar to what we do with the quadcopters but I don't see anyone doing that
[798.96] Andy: something I've always wanted to sort of push you but it just takes up a load of space. Has anyone
[806.32] Frank: been tempted by the EF Xtra? I've got no idea what that is. The DuraFly EF Xtra is like a one meter
[815.36] Frank: uh like pylon racer kind of uh like the the Xtra 300. This is to pull up to the the what was called
[822.0] Frank: the EF X racer or something. Yeah EF Xtra racer yeah um yeah it's a plug and fly 150 quid don't
[832.8] Frank: like that and yeah goes like stink. Do you fly wings? I have once we were actually donated one
[845.36] Miss Creature: a bonsai uh from a friend which is gone but um I I did fly one and I wasn't huge into it right away
[854.08] Miss Creature: because it felt really slow so I was full throttle like the whole time and but I'm gonna give it
[860.96] Miss Creature: another try with a better wing so we'll see what happens. They are slow and wobbly but yeah they're
[867.44] Tony: nice when you when you get a nice calm afternoon slash evening summer evening and you can fly
[873.6] Tony: fly for like 20 minutes that's what I love about it. Yeah that's the crazy part. I think they're quite hard to
[879.76] Curry: compliment people over to because if you look at the footage from a mini quad it's super smooth
[883.76] Curry: because there's a lot of mass in a little package you get onto the wing and you can get it fast
[888.0] Curry: especially you go down low it's I find it really sort of exhilarating especially the fact it's
[891.36] Curry: wobbling around a lot but people look at it and they're like oh I feel seasick just watching this
[895.2] Curry: because it's all like blue doesn't it. Especially the old fuel wobble on the wings you're like oh
[900.32] Jack: where am I going? Um Tony what do you know what Dan Upton's wing set up because he has a bonsai
[907.6] Jack: that little green thing and jesus it is so fast. Oh no it was definitely for us like I don't know
[915.68] Tony: what kv is motor on it but it is it is fast. Kurt if you want to have another crack at that
[922.4] Jack: um if you want to have another crack at making the bonsai any good we'll have a look at Dan Upton
[927.68] Jack: find out all his spec because he's done a really good job on that. We can't like none of us could
[934.08] Jack: peak up with him out of quads and he was just flat out animals. That's awesome we uh the bonsai
[945.28] Miss Creature: is actually down right now too because uh it kind of got stuck in one of these big trees out here
[950.96] Miss Creature: and we used our quad to get it out it took a while so it kind of cut it up. Lended it. Holy.

[1271.63] Curry: of your stuff and she asked about what you seem to have a theme of turning a lot of stuff
[1277.47] Curry: in sort of like organic monster type things so you've got like drones with like bits and stuff
[1283.55] Curry: coming out so she was interested in your ideas behind that is it just some recurring nightmare
[1288.51] Curry: or is this something you just start drawing in like worms start coming out of things
[1293.07] Jack: no every recurring nightmare is being trapped in a room with me and tony
[1299.23] Miss Creature: that would be um so i call them lifelines um i i had a good near death experience years ago
[1307.15] Miss Creature: and then ever since then i started to draw these things that i associate with lifelines
[1312.43] Miss Creature: like life coming out of mechanics um so when you say it's organic it's a really good example
[1317.63] Miss Creature: because sometimes i feel that motors can have like a life to them or you know quads anything
[1324.19] Miss Creature: that's you know you build like frankenstein so i'm guessing this near life death experience
[1330.35] Jack: was some sort of head injury uh it was actually was it self-inflicted you're in a car and crushed
[1340.43] Miss Creature: i was in a car yeah i had a good accident and yeah spot on right it's when you're short the
[1348.91] Jack: steering wheel is right here yeah the trouble is with steering wheels is they're a bit like a harpoon
[1357.07] Tony: what they are aren't they they're just i mean if you don't have the wheel on there
