[1514.29] Windestål: uh one shot uh what do you call that um d shot and everything now and it's really cool because
[1522.61] Windestål: it does have a radio guide setup or like a radio wizard so you just it tells you what to do it moves
[1529.81] Windestål: it shows you what to move during what stage and it sets up the endpoints and everything for you
[1534.85] Windestål: and the arming switch and all that and then does there have to be a particular hardware david for
[1541.01] Windestål: that or yeah there's um only a dozen or so boards that are supported at this time right so i mean
[1551.97] Windestål: it's yeah it needs some adding on like the uh f3 fc was added by uh a fan a guy on the forum yeah i
[1562.37] AndyRC: read about that actually when building the tricopter has didn't some somebody done some work on that
[1568.21] Windestål: with the tricopter yes so it's really cool they took the uh the tri-flight stuff and shoved it
[1578.05] Windestål: into drone in so it's in there as well so you can use the tricopter stuff but not have to do not to
[1585.97] Windestål: have to keep up with the beta flight which releases two things a day now that was exactly my point
[1593.65] AndyRC: yeah i'll have to have to look into that i really like the episode that you did with drew where he
[1598.69] AndyRC: flew the the tricopter and yeah you just took it over and uh put put i always i wondered actually
[1605.57] AndyRC: what would happen if you put sort of more powerful motors on it and uh it did all right just needed a
[1611.49] AndyRC: bit of tuning i guess because you would just built it and maybe threw it on the got on the plane then
[1617.01] Windestål: i'd take it and it was pretty uh actually we built that one in the basement uh and it was done about
[1624.29] Windestål: an hour before we shot the video wow so it was it was pretty bad yeah i really did um now it's
[1635.09] Windestål: really nice so i can recommend drone and has an auto tune feature what you do is you put that on
[1641.25] Windestål: a switch take off hover click auto tune and it freaks out it goes and it does that for
[1649.33] Windestål: uh about a minute uh 30 seconds to a minute i think it is and then it just stops and it locks
[1655.25] Windestål: and then you land it you walk out uh walk to the computer plug it in and it shows you um a lot of
[1662.61] Windestål: cool stuff like what it's predicting the quad should do and then what it's actually doing and
[1668.69] Windestål: it's plotting out of this line and you can see it's like pretty darn good i have to say
[1674.21] Windestål: and then you just save that and you have a quad that's really well tuned without doing any job
[1680.37] Windestål: like you don't have to do anything like it's just good at least for a start yeah i'm just telling you
[1687.49] Curry: look at it it doesn't support an awful lot of cards but it does manage uh omnibus f4 variants
[1693.09] Curry: without the sd card which covers quite a lot so it might be worth having a place certainly

[3229.89] AndyRC: on copters they're great for sort of like vlogging and stuff like that but when they're
[3234.61] AndyRC: sat on a copter the thing that you want to be looking at is really the copter and of course
[3239.49] AndyRC: because there's a gap between the camera the the the the copter looks like it's really short and
[3244.45] SPEAKER_05: the props overlap and stuff yeah and um people who've used them on quads and stuck them out on
[3250.77] SPEAKER_05: quite long booms um like above them or i mean i think all of i've seen it's kind of a long boom

[3263.41] SPEAKER_05: in that bit where you finally get the overlap between the two cameras so it can then um sort

[3286.37] AndyRC: fixed that now but what insta one do is they've got this great phone app and they they realized

[3307.65] AndyRC: choose the view yourself and and do it in 1080 you can actually use the phone's gyro and sort of

[3416.21] Windestål: if you get too much light in front of the smoke the or behind i mean then you don't see the thing
[3425.41] Windestål: that you're flying like into it it just looks washed out and bad so you have to time it so the
[3432.77] Windestål: smoke is in the right position with the with the light and if there's
[3437.81] Windestål: anywhere but is it a lot of fun
[3443.01] Windestål: what's the primary do you get on a thousand so it's not that much in 720 and then up to
[3452.53] Windestål: 120 000 and lower rest something it's still quite a lot more than a gopro though isn't it
[3459.49] Windestål: a little bit uh and also it has a global shutter which is the big thing so the pictures don't look
[3467.73] Windestål: distorted in any way uh if you have a even if you have a high frame rate gopro for instance
[3473.73] Windestål: you always get skewed the rolling shutter yeah yeah so do you have to put like amazing
[3480.53] Curry: amounts of light on it as you up the frame rate because you're exposing it for so little time
