[206.18] Curry: mess around with um you know setting up a 1s battery which was well did you both do it in
[212.9] Curry: beta flight yes except josh didn't know that it was in the rate profile so he went through this
[219.22] Curry: whole convoluted thing about having to set stuff up using open tx and stuff as well which is quite
[224.66] AndyRC: funny so uh yeah so is it to do with this the stick endpoints because i don't that's that's
[231.7] Curry: not it is it no it's literally you've got this thing called throttle limit and if you set it you
[236.82] Curry: could say let's say throttle limit is which page is that on it's a cli command oh it's a cli command
[244.18] Curry: but you can set it against a rate profile so then then you can just change your rate profile to say
[248.42] Curry: i'm outdoors i'm flying 2s full power and if you set it to 50 it does the full stick so just scales
[254.66] Curry: it so your top end of the stick is 50 and you know what do you know what i realized that i've
[260.18] AndyRC: got to do with these 2s whoops is i need to ditch the ratchet because i use a ratchet right

[806.37] AndyRC: so no i've got um my microsoft flight simulator 10 there's a vr add-on to that that is just
[816.61] AndyRC: superb it's unbelievable you it's like it really is like you're sat in an aircraft and when you do
[823.25] AndyRC: a roll it really screws with your head and your body feels like you feel g-force even though
[830.29] AndyRC: um you know you're not moving and that's what's great about vr unfortunately when you're finished
[836.69] AndyRC: you throw up so yeah that's that's the problem with vr is the uh the motion sickness but um
[845.01] SPEAKER_02: oculus have sorted that out pretty much and the same with the vibe the vibe is really good
[851.17] AndyRC: yeah so convincing it's all to do with um refresh rates um which is why vr isn't like ultra hd light
[861.49] AndyRC: it's not 4k it's 1080p and that's because the refresh rate has to be so high otherwise you get

[1392.64] AndyRC: and it's a minimum order of uh a thousand so what's that 340 quid i thought well you know that's
[1401.44] AndyRC: that's not too bad and then i sent them a load of designs and they said basically
[1405.76] AndyRC: no to all of the designs because they were too complicated they got too many colors and
[1412.32] Jack: we can't do it and all of this so um minimal order is 500 and it was around 300 to 500 pound
[1422.88] AndyRC: depending on the design and material yeah i mean i'm willing to pay that man if it if uh you know
[1429.76] AndyRC: i've got uh you know some some dedicated patrons and i think that kind of stuff uh you know can help
[1439.44] AndyRC: you know gain more as well so uh i thought it'd be kind of cool to have an anti-rc
[1445.12] AndyRC: battery strap like a checker one but the problem with checker is it's a lot of printing and
[1452.64] AndyRC: basically what this guy said was yeah we really just do black we just do we just do battery
[1459.44] AndyRC: straps in colors and then you have your little tiny logo at the end and i wanted a whole custom
[1466.16] AndyRC: sort of strap and they weren't willing to do it and so is there is there anyone that you guys
[1473.28] Jack: know that would be willing to do something like that if they would have like multi designs where
[1479.12] Jack: ldo could go put in a third curry ken third and then you put in a third but then it's changing
[1488.08] SPEAKER_02: the design setup which turns out getting things made is expensive and difficult and this is with
[1495.2] SPEAKER_02: like we're talking about a single part with a single supplier for battery straps and if you
[1501.52] Curry: scale this if you like i want 10 000 of these yeah but it's like that's a bit still if you want
[1508.0] SPEAKER_02: that you know something that has you know multiple parts and is assembled like a quad this is this
[1515.36] SPEAKER_02: is why there's lead times and supply chain issues and things on on big releases um so because you
[1523.12] SPEAKER_02: know even a fairly simple quad has something like 13 different suppliers all providing different
[1529.36] SPEAKER_02: parts in it although you only buy it from one person maybe you know if you're buying a ready
[1534.08] SPEAKER_02: to fly it still handle loads of people all working into it so it does make things tricky
[1540.32] Curry: maybe andy as a different perk you could supply some paints and a paint brush
[1545.04] Curry: and a design and say paint checkers right andy i'll see on your battery strap
[1551.2] AndyRC: so what so it can't be done then it can't be what it's too expensive it would actually be
[1557.6] Jack: cheaper to just buy plain battery straps and me painstakingly printing them myself over the
[1564.64] AndyRC: duration of probably three months what do you mean print i don't see i don't know anything about
[1572.24] Jack: printing screen print and you go and then you lift it up and you stick a battery strap to the other
[1577.44] Jack: side of the the velcro that stuck to a board you press it down and then you whizz the thing across
[1583.12] Jack: with one color and then you you dry it with a heat gun there's a new business and how much do you
[1589.2] Jack: charge for print jack uh i charge uh i don't know like as much as possible to keep tony away from me

[2555.12] SPEAKER_02: and you either do that by having a load of people around or if they're flying solo then you need
[2559.36] SPEAKER_02: someone to vouch for them and again if you've got lots of people going to lots of different clubs
