Big massive shout out to our Patreons. So these guys are the guys who [9.12] Jack: donate for the editing and they really do make a huge difference to keep the show alive. [17.12] Jack: We've been sponsored by Art Faulkner, Ferdy Evers, Mikey Dread and Under Fluke. [23.2] Jack: These guys are absolute legends. Thank you so much and see you next show. [30.0] Jack: Let's drone out. Hello and welcome to another episode of Let's Drone Out. [43.82] Jack: Legal notice, any views expressed by any of the guests on this show or hosts or personal [49.18] Jack: may not reflect the views of any participant of the show. I've noticed, Jack, that when I'm on [57.5] Andy: the show you said that's the first thing that you say. Yeah, last week that didn't come out until [63.98] Andy: right about the end of the show. Just, you know, just feeling a little bit, you know. [70.54] Jack: It's your welcome. Anyway, after saying that, you're joined by Andy Arcy. [77.02] Andy: Good evening everybody. Andrew Sashrank. [79.98] Jack: Hello. My little tone star. Bonjour. [84.06] Jack: And I'm Jack Brighton to the left of the line. How are you doing guys? [88.3] Tony: Well, I was all right but the eyes are starting to hurt because of that shirt. [93.02] Jack: Sorry. Oh my goodness. Can you just take it off? Do you want to just be like [99.18] Jack: topless during the show? Surely that's better. [105.66] Tony: If it's not nipples on his shirt, it's like making my eyes go funny now. [112.3] Andy: I actually wonder whether it's like any better in real life though, to be fair. [117.98] Andy: I was doing that to a camera. What would it do to one's eyes? [123.26] Frank: Well, that's what I do to hypnotize people. It's better not what it is. [128.06] Frank: That's how it works. I'll go get a hoodie and stop your moaning. [135.98] Tony: That's better. I can see you now. It's not going mental. Dave's story in the chat said, [142.86] Tony: where's Curry? Apparently he's broke his leg and he's on some heel somewhere. [148.06] Jack: That's not true. I'm not part of that news. [155.9] Frank: Buried under an avalanche. Broke his leg. That's generally how things go, right? [160.54] Jack: Speaking of fake news. [162.22] Frank: Fake news. God, there's so much fake news this week. [164.62] Tony: Oh my God. Gatwick's inside job now, isn't it? [169.5] Jack: I'd like to point out how Tony said the G word first, not me. [174.62] Jack: Oh, Gatwick, right. [175.9] Jack: Yeah. Because sooner or later, if we have any more of the G word, I'm going to change the name of [183.5] Jack: this show to let Gatwick out. All we ever talk about now. [188.78] Tony: It's been talked about, isn't it? It was in the news again today. [191.82] Tony: How was it an inside job? [194.14] Tony: Well, it was someone who worked there who's disgruntled. [197.74] Frank: So they reckon that because there was maximum disruption, but there was no evidence. [204.22] Frank: With minimum effort. Sorry. [206.46] Frank: Minimum effort and minimum evidence, because there was no evidence, but there was all this [210.14] Frank: disruption. Therefore, it must be someone who has intimate knowledge of how the airport works, [214.78] Frank: so they can hide behind the buildings at the right time and know all the blind spots. [218.86] Frank: And that's why there are no photos or any evidence of anything at all. [222.7] Tony: Yeah, because I read there was 300 sightings from police and saying, [228.7] Tony: this is police and staff saw the drone 300 times, yet there's no pictures, evidence, nothing. [239.18] Frank: Interestingly, there are photos that the police have, or it was being reported that the Sussex [245.34] Frank: Police have photos of the drone, but they're not releasing them because they're not of adequate [251.34] Frank: quality and were taken from too far away. [255.66] Tony: What a load of crap. [257.1] Frank: Which does kind of beg the question of if it's so poor and fuzzy that they don't want to publish it, [264.14] Frank: then what is it? [267.58] Frank: Doesn't it feel like happening in other airports? [269.58] Jack: You think Sussex can tell the difference between a seagull and a drone of all places? [273.34] Andy: Doesn't it feel like happening at other airports, though? [275.1] Andy: Well, I didn't double it. [277.74] Tony: Something happened today. They had to shut it down today, didn't they? [280.78] Frank: So it was a load of cock. [282.78] Frank: I haven't dug into the details of it, but... [286.46] Jack: Why? Because you've got a life, unlike the... [289.34] Frank: Yeah, I've spent the day traveling and meeting people. [294.14] Frank: But yes, the Dublin by any chance. [300.38] Frank: Dublin Airport Twitter feed reported that they were closed due to a drone incident [308.7] Frank: at about 11.30 this morning, I think it was. [312.94] Frank: And then at about 11.45, they were back open again. [317.1] Frank: So I don't know if they were closed before for a while. [319.82] Jack: All right, what was that? 11.15 minutes? [323.26] Frank: 15 minutes on their Twitter feed between them saying they were closed and them saying they were open. [327.5] Frank: But I don't know if that's actually how long the airport was closed. [330.62] Jack: Or did someone just fancy a quick wank in the toilets or something? [334.38] Frank: I don't know. Maybe it was like... [335.58] Frank: 15 minutes, Jack. [337.02] Jack: Well, you know. [339.18] Jack: Some of those air host deaths. [341.58] Jack: Do you know what I mean? [342.22] Jack: Yeah, about 15 minutes. [344.06] Jack: 15 seconds, mate. [346.46] Jack: Honestly, the Virgin Atlantic girls, there's something else. [350.7] Jack: Oi, Jack. [351.42] Jack: All right, yeah, sorry. [355.5] Andy: When did you travel on Virgin Atlantic, Jack? [359.58] Tony: He didn't, he's just a virgin. [362.54] Tony: That's more, thanks. [364.54] Tony: What's up, girl fusion? [365.66] Jack: Sorry, guys, sorry, I'm just... [367.26] Jack: I do apologise. [368.46] Jack: I am just trying to amuse myself in there. [371.9] Frank: It was Norfolk last week, women this week. [375.26] Frank: Who are you going to offend massively next week? [377.82] Jack: I called them attractive, surely. [380.78] Jack: That's a nice thing to say. [383.1] Andy: Last week, Tony made me laugh. [385.02] Jack: Actually, I didn't gender specify either. [387.98] Andy: You guys made me laugh. [389.42] Andy: I thought I was like, girl. [390.14] Andy: How did you not get in trouble for anything that was said last week? [394.3] Andy: Yeah, I can just say something. [397.1] Andy: That is drone related and get us in a whole heap of trouble. [401.82] Andy: Anyway, I like it. [404.06] Jack: Hang on, wait, wait, wait. [405.82] Jack: There's one problem is that most of my family are from Norfolk. [410.62] Jack: Well, next to the sea and chroma. [413.5] Jack: Well, they were till they died, but you know. [418.62] Tony: Did you enjoy it then, Andy, watching it back? [423.66] Andy: It was great. [425.5] Andy: It made me think, oh, man, this show is better without me [429.02] Andy: because I was just like laughing my arse off all the way through. [432.78] Andy: And I'm like, I don't know, but and then I thought to myself, [438.06] Andy: especially what you were talking about at the end with the show, [441.58] Andy: we say this is how I will put it. [443.9] Andy: Ladies of the night and how one dealt with. [450.62] Andy: How is that all fine? [452.62] Jack: Probably not. [453.42] Jack: Frank, get us on track. [455.1] Tony: Yeah, and then there's pictures of me on Facebook [458.22] Tony: going camping with massive rucksacks like two days later. [462.46] Jack: Just saying, I literally just talk over us. [466.54] Andy: I wasn't very well. [467.9] Andy: And Tony said something, just one word. [471.58] Andy: And I laughed so much. [473.42] Andy: And I was sick anyway, but I actually threw up from laughing [478.94] Andy: because I was glad I wasn't on the show [484.14] Andy: because it would have blown out the audio. [487.74] Frank: Just to cover ourselves may vary. [493.74] Frank: Just to cover ourselves, results may vary. [496.7] Frank: Not all shows may cause someone to laugh enough to vomit. [500.86] Jack: That used to happen to me. [502.3] Jack: I remember I was laughing so hard during ghost hunting. [506.14] Jack: I threw up down a well, [509.66] Jack: which I thought would spur on some ghostly activity [513.58] Jack: due to vomiting on sacred land that nothing happened. [520.54] Andy: The thing that made me laugh the most though [522.78] Andy: was that you were saying all of this horrendous stuff, [526.7] Andy: but it wasn't the horrendous stuff that made me laugh. [530.06] Andy: It was when Tony said, at least it's girls, Jack. [533.82] Andy: Like, he didn't care about anything else horrendous [541.98] Andy: that was being said. [543.1] Andy: It was like, well, at least it was girls. [545.98] Jack: I know, but we learned nothing from 177. [549.02] Jack: It was so fun. [550.3] Jack: Frank, put us on track, please. [551.9] Jack: Just talk over us. [553.74] Frank: Right. Where were we? [556.7] Frank: So Dublin Airport was closed for some amount of time. [560.86] Frank: It may have been longer than that 15 minutes, [563.1] Frank: but I haven't looked into it, so I don't know. [564.94] Frank: If anyone has any info, then let us know. [567.82] Frank: But from what I can tell, it doesn't seem that important. [571.58] Frank: Yesterday, they had a parrot at the end of their runway. [575.1] Jack: What, a squawk parrot or one of those drone parrots? [578.86] Jack: Gray parrot. [580.3] Jack: What, African gray with the red feathers? [583.02] Frank: I think so. [584.7] Jack: That's the only gray parrot, isn't it? [587.42] Frank: Anyway, it was a gray bird with wings. [591.26] Frank: A seagull. [593.74] Frank: No, definitely a parrot beak, not a seagull beak. [599.18] Tony: I've got a light sparkler for MC Creations. [602.78] Tony: Thank you. [604.7] Tony: He wants to talk about butterfly and heliodrama. [607.66] Tony: Does anyone know about that? [608.78] Tony: I've not been following it. [612.14] Andy: Something about a llama or something. [614.38] Andy: I thought Flight One posted a video, but I didn't watch it, [622.46] Andy: and it said something about heliode or something like that, [627.18] Andy: question mark or something. [631.1] Jack: I think from what I gather from Facebook [634.06] Jack: is they put up a development bar graph, [637.58] Jack: which is something that Frank would do for this show. [641.74] Tony: Bar graph. [644.38] Tony: So he loves it. [645.34] Jack: It wouldn't have been a bar graph. [646.78] Jack: He would have been like, no, line graph, [648.86] Jack: and just beat viability, which is the thing. [654.7] Jack: Someone asked a reseller, why don't you sell these boards? [661.58] Jack: They posted up the development between those guys and Betaflight, [666.78] Jack: and the Betaflight development seems really live, [669.34] Jack: but the numbers are really low on development nowadays. [673.66] Tony: What's it saying in the chat? [675.02] Tony: Some people are saying... [676.06] Tony: Yeah. [676.46] Jack: I can explain the heliodeamer no more. [681.58] Jack: APO still supporting Butterfly. [685.5] Andy: Also, to change the subject about me, [688.14] Andy: got a few mentions for me. [690.22] Andy: RDF PV says, what's up, Andy RC. [693.74] Andy: RC, this says, sup, Andy RC, [696.06] Andy: and somebody said that they missed me last week, [699.82] Andy: so I am worth something. [701.58] Andy: That's Romanus King. [703.42] Andy: Thank you for that. [704.46] Tony: You are. [705.02] Tony: What's up, Batwoman in the chat? [708.46] Andy: Sorry, I completely interrupted there. [711.18] Andy: Go on, carry on. [712.46] Andy: You carry on, you carry on. [715.34] Jack: It's dangerous to blindly read out stuff in the chat, especially. [719.66] Jack: What was with the Italians hating us? [724.7] Frank: I don't know. [725.34] Jack: I didn't say anything about Italy, did I? [727.5] Frank: I don't think so. [728.62] Jack: Just Norfolk. [729.98] Frank: It seemed like there were a couple of people [732.06] Frank: being awkward in the chat last week, [733.66] Frank: but we had our lovely regulars and Patreons doing a wonderful job of... [739.98] Frank: Timing them out. [741.26] Frank: ...moderating them, yes. [742.38] Frank: So thank you very much. [745.18] Frank: But yes, so we don't really know what's happened with Dublin. [749.9] Frank: And the fact that it was so quick, [751.74] Frank: I imagine there's not a lot to say about it. [754.62] Frank: Again, same with Gatwick, we won't find out for months, I'm sure. [757.9] Tony: All years, like 9-11. [761.74] Frank: Right. [763.5] Frank: You're going to get us removed from YouTube [765.5] Frank: because we're not allowed to talk about conspiracy theories on YouTube anymore. [770.94] Tony: I'm not talking about it, I'll just say the date. [774.14] Tony: And you know, Dublin's one of the biggest airports in the world. [779.18] Tony: That's not true, is it? [781.74] Tony: Dublin and Dublin! [785.42] Jack: Oh my god. [787.42] Jack: Feel free to hit the unsubscribe button. [790.62] Tony: Thumbs down. [791.66] Jack: Put that out there. [793.26] Frank: Thumbs down for that joke. [795.34] Frank: Right. [796.86] Frank: But the other fake news this week, [799.58] Frank: besides... [800.54] Andy: Not more. [801.42] Andy: I kind of don't like it when we say fake... [803.98] Andy: Because like... [805.18] Andy: Or Donald Trump. [806.54] Andy: He says fake news a lot and it kind of makes... [809.5] Jack: Are you triggered because you were saying true or something? [813.66] Andy: No, I... [814.54] Jack: You want to explain about that? [816.62] Jack: What? [817.66] Jack: You know, true fact or something in your videos. [822.06] Tony: True fact. [823.02] Jack: No, I can't remember. [823.98] Tony: Oi, oi, oi, oi. [825.74] Tony: It's under flu. [826.78] Tony: I like to say... [827.26] Andy: I like to say it's double, sorry. [829.74] Andy: I like to say false news instead of fake news there. [834.86] Andy: Because it is a thing. [837.42] Andy: Like people get their news from what just people make up on social media now. [843.18] Andy: Or have misinterpreted, you know. [848.3] Frank: All right. [848.78] Frank: Well, the other false news this week. [853.1] Frank: So... [856.38] Frank: There's been all this thing about the 250 gram limit [860.62] Frank: and what's in the government sneaking out changes. [865.58] Frank: Can I just say bollocks? [868.3] Frank: Like there's never been any legislation... [873.02] Frank: Released... [873.66] Frank: Any draft legislation released anything apart from one tiny little ambiguous comment [880.7] Frank: in the response to our survey responses. [885.98] Frank: Like all the legislation has been very clear [888.54] Frank: that the only thing that being under 250 grams gets you out of is registration. [894.46] Frank: So the registration of the pilots coming in November. [898.38] Frank: That's the only thing that 250 grams has ever been different about. [902.7] Frank: And but now it seems like the entire drone community has decided that what we're going to do [908.46] Frank: is we're going to say that the government are sneaking out changes saying that. [913.66] Frank: And it's like this has always been the case. [915.66] Frank: So it's just really winding me up that we're resorting to the same bullshit [922.54] Frank: that the other side are. [925.42] Frank: I don't think it's a good idea. [927.82] Frank: Like I get kind of fighting fire with fire. [930.86] Frank: They're making up stuff about about Gatwick. [934.7] Frank: So we should make stuff up about the government changing the rules. [937.98] Frank: But I don't think that's a good way to go. [942.46] Frank: I think it's just going to end up... [945.02] Andy: Yeah, didn't Bruce even make a video about it? [948.06] Andy: Like UK legislation and... [951.18] Andy: Yeah, exactly. [952.54] Andy: I like Bruce but I don't like it when he says I wouldn't want to be in the UK right now. [957.34] Andy: It's like, you know, what do you want to be on the weather? [960.22] Jack: Surely you can agree with him with the weather. [963.58] Andy: No, today was too hot. [965.82] Andy: I was sweating today. [967.18] Jack: Is it because you're northern and like too hot? [970.7] Jack: I got sunburned. [973.9] Jack: Using incandescent light bulb instead of... [976.14] Tony: Like 15 degrees and I see NDRC goes. [980.78] Andy: Yeah, no, I think it was like... [982.54] Andy: I think it went up to maybe 10 today and I was like... [987.1] Andy: I was like, man, the coat came off and then I was just in a fleece and I'm like, [993.66] Andy: man, I can fit, you know, even the sweating through the fleece. [998.46] Andy: But I think a lot of it was stress related rather than heat related. [1002.86] Andy: Although I do love that. [1004.86] Andy: I do love that day, the first time because we go for maybe five months without feeling [1011.18] Andy: like the sun can be out, but you don't feel any heat from it. [1014.94] Andy: And today, today is that day I went outside and I was like, yeah, [1019.74] Andy: I can feel actual heat from the sun. [1022.46] Andy: I always liked that day. [1024.46] Andy: And that was today. [1025.9] Andy: I went on a video. [1027.9] Andy: It was very... [1028.46] Andy: Well, it was today for me. [1029.9] Andy: I don't know about you guys. [1031.02] Jack: Yeah, I had it early on in a week and I phoned Tony. [1033.74] Tony: Last Friday, it was nice. [1035.02] Tony: I actually went out and flew. [1037.82] Jack: First time in the year. [1039.18] Jack: Well done, Tony. [1040.78] Jack: So I wonder if Luke says, oi, oi, lads. [1044.3] Jack: Been a while, sorry. [1045.18] Jack: Where's the best place to sell you squads? [1047.5] Tony: Yeah, I wonder if Luke's selling everything he's given up. [1050.78] Jack: Oh, I'm sorry. [1052.7] Jack: Lost comrade. [1054.38] Jack: So, drone junkyards. [1058.54] Jack: That was my first thought. [1061.66] Jack: eBay's all right, but you do have like the seller feedback. [1066.62] Jack: You get eBay fees. [1069.1] Jack: And yeah, usually you get a load of... [1072.94] Jack: You don't really know who you're selling to. [1074.86] Jack: It might be worth you attending a few more meets and events. [1078.94] Tony: eBay is horrible. [1080.06] Tony: I'm trying to sell my bike. [1081.18] Tony: Someone offered me 250 quid and can I drive it to Wimbledon? [1086.38] Tony: He's like, yeah, I know. [1089.9] Tony: I don't like eBay at all. [1091.74] Jack: The messages I get, I once replied, [1094.3] Jack: yeah, give us an extra 20 quid and you can have a go with my mum as well. [1097.42] Jack: And then just flop them. [1099.98] Jack: Some of the offers are unreal. [1101.5] Tony: I know they are. [1102.3] Jack: They are relentless. [1104.38] Tony: I'm going to say that on my next message. [1107.26] Jack: I had one guy from Crawley buying this PC [1113.1] Jack: and he wanted me to drive it to him immediately at nine o'clock at night. [1117.18] Jack: It was like, I'll give you a hundred pounds. [1118.7] Jack: I was like, no. [1122.22] Jack: So, yeah, unfortunately, you do get none. [1124.06] Jack: Is Gumtree might be a good option? [1126.94] Andy: I think that drone drunk yard, that's known to be a pretty good place. [1131.58] Tony: I don't think Under Fluke's on Facebook. [1134.38] Jack: Yeah, if you're not on Facebook, what can you do? [1136.7] Jack: Gumtree. [1137.42] Jack: Gumtree's a good bet. [1139.18] Jack: You could always try and go into your local morning shop and see what they say. [1144.3] Andy: Isn't there an app that's like local or is that, [1151.42] Andy: or do you have to give stuff away for free for that? [1155.42] Andy: What? No, no, there's an app. [1157.18] Andy: I can't remember. [1158.3] Andy: It's in your Z, doesn't it? [1162.14] Andy: It's annoying, but basically, yeah, it's like in your local area and you search by people [1167.98] Andy: who are close to you and stuff and it's like for local pickup. [1174.38] Andy: What's it called? [1176.14] Jack: Free cycles, the free thing. [1179.66] Andy: Yeah, no, it wasn't that then. [1181.18] Andy: No, you pay for it. [1183.1] Andy: Does it begin with a C? [1185.02] Andy: I used it. [1186.06] Tony: Damien Barnes said the UK is going to be as hot as Greece, apparently. [1190.38] Tony: Must be pretty crappy in Greece. [1196.7] Andy: No, you cannot complain. [1198.54] Andy: Last year, we got scorched, absolutely scorched. [1202.62] Frank: What do you mean we can't complain about the weather with Britain? [1205.34] Frank: That's what we do. [1206.62] Andy: Yeah, we got scorched. [1208.78] Andy: That's an air conditioning unit that I never needed for like 35 years of my life. [1216.38] Andy: And last year, we had the hottest year since records began. [1221.58] Andy: And yeah, it wasn't. [1224.38] Andy: Yeah, so like it's funny. [1226.22] Tony: Everyone buys them and then makes it even after next year and beyond for next year [1231.58] Tony: and also next year, and it's ongoing. [1234.62] Frank: Unless you're complaining about your central heating with air conditioning. [1239.66] Frank: I think that's an improvement, car wise. [1243.1] Frank: Is it so? [1244.22] Frank: I think if you use the same thing to heat and to cool, [1247.5] Frank: I think vaguely recollections of thermodynamics lectures or something. [1254.06] Frank: Anyway, there was three bits of fake news this week. [1259.1] Frank: Sorry, false news. [1260.38] Frank: False news. [1262.3] Jack: You might as well say bollocks news. [1264.06] Jack: You said bollocks earlier on, so. [1266.06] Andy: Oh no, you swore. [1268.06] Andy: Is that a swear word anyways? [1269.98] Jack: Bollocks? [1270.86] Jack: Not in England. [1273.02] Andy: Well, it doesn't mean. [1274.3] Andy: I don't think it means anything anywhere else either, does it? [1277.98] Andy: Like, I don't think I don't, you never, you never hear in like an American blockbuster bollocks. [1286.94] Tony: I can't say that. [1289.9] Tony: Yeah, but the word when like the Americans say it, they're just useless. [1294.38] Frank: So there was the Dublin, there was the 250 gram nonsense. [1305.66] Frank: There was something else as well. [1308.3] Frank: What about being an inside job? [1310.38] Frank: Or was that the one? [1311.42] Frank: Gatwick being an inside job, yes. [1313.18] Tony: And what about the the new zones around Gatwick? [1318.54] Frank: Yeah, so that is correct news. [1322.62] Frank: Is that the phrase? [1323.66] Frank: I don't know. [1324.54] Frank: Actual facts. [1326.06] Tony: Fact news. [1327.34] Tony: Yeah, it's from the TII. [1329.98] Frank: Yeah, so the amendment is on the definition of air traffic zones. [1337.98] Frank: I think is the name for them. [1339.82] Frank: So the areas around airports where you're not allowed to fly without ATC. [1346.94] Frank: Do you all right there Andy? [1348.3] Andy: Sorry, sorry to me. [1349.18] Andy: You're having a little moment. [1351.42] Andy: That somebody said in the chat, man, the chat is going crazy. [1355.18] Andy: You guys are awesome. [1356.7] Andy: But Dave's story says spock. [1358.62] Andy: That is the app that I was thinking about. [1360.7] Jack: Or what? [1361.26] Jack: Isn't it just for selling women's clothes? [1363.18] Jack: Is that what you're trying to tell us, Andy? [1365.02] Andy: No, you can do. [1366.54] Andy: You buy from that, Jack. [1370.22] Andy: I used it to sell a couple of drones because I can't, it's impossible for me to sell drones [1376.06] Andy: because everyone assumes that I get everything for free. [1378.78] Andy: So if I want to sell something that I actually bought, then I get offered like a quid for it. [1387.98] Andy: Yeah, but that's just how it is. [1390.22] Andy: So yeah, I've used spock before and what else as well? [1400.06] Tony: I got a lot of big one. [1401.82] Tony: Someone read it out while I prepare myself. [1404.22] Tony: I'll dial two nines. [1409.42] Tony: Someone read Romus King. [1411.9] Frank: Good news about the dude finding the dog with his drone. [1415.34] Frank: What an awesome guy, says Romanus King. [1418.54] Frank: What's that story about? [1420.22] Frank: Or is that literally it? [1422.46] Tony: It just makes me jump every time. [1425.02] Tony: I don't mind. [1428.7] Tony: My thumb goes, no, please, no. [1432.22] Tony: Thanks, Romus King. [1433.58] Jack: We do need to get him proper lighter so that he can have it. [1437.9] Andy: You just need one of those, I've got one around here. [1441.42] Andy: Just a candle lighter that's got a little bit of length to it, you know? [1446.94] Jack: Tony's always needed a bit of length in his life. [1449.74] Tony: Tony that way, Jeff, Tony that way. [1452.94] Frank: Yeah, so this was the story that Tony shared this week. [1459.5] Frank: It was from BBC News, I believe, had found it. [1463.82] Jack: What, the BBC actually said something nice about us? [1466.94] Frank: I know. [1471.9] Frank: There's this group called, I've already forgotten all these details, Tony. [1478.78] Frank: Do you remember? [1479.58] Frank: No, I don't remember. [1481.26] Tony: You've got this thing on your page. [1483.9] Tony: Have a look for it, I'm reading. [1485.74] Andy: I'm desperately. [1487.9] Andy: Did they not repeat it every 10 minutes for 24 hours like they did Gatwick? [1493.26] Andy: Because surely a positive drone story should be as equal as a negative one. [1502.78] Frank: Drone SAR for Lost Dogs UK, so it's not a volunteer group. [1508.22] Andy: Search and Rescue. [1509.58] Frank: So yeah, SAR Search and Rescue. [1512.46] Jack: It's also a video of Tony bearing dead hookers. [1516.22] Jack: Sorry. [1516.7] Tony: Oh, he glows the tone every time, doesn't he? [1522.11] Frank: Anyway, moving on. [1524.51] Frank: Um, so. [1528.99] Frank: You helped me read. [1529.95] Frank: It's not really true. [1533.15] Frank: So the dog went missing. [1534.99] Frank: They were hunting for the dog and they found it using a drone. [1539.71] Frank: That's pretty much the story as far as I know. [1541.71] Frank: How did they do that though? [1543.55] Frank: Because like, we need to get them on. [1545.79] Frank: Tony, you need to find this guy and get him on. [1548.51] Jack: The girl's really pretty in the image. [1552.11] Jack: I thought you'd be right on it. [1555.15] Jack: Like, you know, journalistically, not her. [1557.47] Jack: Just, just, just shush, Jack. [1560.03] Tony: Mute him, he's got a power. [1562.43] Tony: Just shop him. [1565.39] Jack: I'm sorry. [1567.15] Andy: Are we in a society where you can't say somebody is pretty now? [1573.07] Frank: You can. [1573.55] Jack: That was fine. [1574.43] Jack: It's what I said after. [1576.27] Andy: What did you say after? [1577.39] Frank: Oh, you don't have to just move on. [1581.55] Frank: Moving swiftly on. [1583.71] Frank: That was a thing where drones have been good. [1587.23] Frank: And you know what drones are good means. [1590.43] Frank: International drone day and or mini air show. [1596.75] Frank: Interestingly, mini air show tickets are on sale. [1602.75] Frank: And I didn't announce it anywhere. [1604.91] Frank: And still people found them and were buying them. [1607.31] Frank: Wow. [1608.11] Frank: People have been buying tickets. [1610.19] Jack: So after I questioned you about it, and then you were annoyed at me. [1617.07] Frank: I was like, I had the tickets have been up, but I hadn't told anyone [1620.91] Frank: because I still need to sort out like Facebook event stuff. [1625.47] Frank: That is not working. [1626.67] Frank: I just need to set up like media stuff. [1630.03] Tony: How can anyone buy these tickets? [1632.43] Frank: So it's all good that all the website has been set up. [1640.91] Frank: It was it was the promotion stuff that I need set up. [1643.71] Frank: But it's mini air show.co.uk. [1647.47] Frank: And then you can click on the flying page and you can get so there's [1651.47] Frank: there's a few different ways of doing it because we know there's a bunch of people [1654.99] Frank: that just live nearby and want to come along and just look and spectate. [1660.03] Frank: And that's fine. [1661.39] Frank: And spectators go free. [1663.71] Frank: Some people want to come along and just have a go at the farmfly in the evening. [1668.91] Frank: So there is a farmfly ticket for that. [1672.11] Frank: Or the if you want to get involved with the relay racing as the team racing [1677.95] Frank: that KQRC are going to be running. [1680.91] Frank: So we've redone or we're redoing the layout of the track and everything. [1686.51] Frank: After me and Greg from menace went up in December and worked out how to set it up [1693.07] Frank: a bit better for FPV signal. [1695.95] Frank: So if you want to get involved in the team relay and then there's a ticket for that. [1702.27] Frank: And that will also get you into all the fun fly obviously. [1705.55] Frank: Or if you're coming from actually you could live next door and still want to go camping. [1710.51] Frank: I don't know. [1712.03] Frank: If you want to camp overnight and we do have the campsite facilities. [1718.27] Frank: So you can get a camping ticket and that will also get you into the farmfly. [1724.27] Frank: So basically if you buy a ticket any ticket that will get you into all the fun fly stuff. [1730.83] Frank: But it depends if you just want the fun fly stuff or whether you also want the team relay. [1737.87] Frank: Or you also want the camping or both. [1740.43] Frank: You can buy both tickets. [1741.87] Frank: So there you go. [1742.51] Frank: There's your options and you can get them at miniairshow.co.uk. [1748.67] Tony: Thank you very much. [1750.35] Jack: And hopefully we'll all be there. [1753.23] Tony: How many people in the chat are going to join us? [1757.39] Andy: The chat's exploding man. [1762.03] Jack: The chat stopped on mine. [1765.07] Andy: Probably because the bandwidth can't handle with it. [1768.67] Andy: My question is the racing, is it independent from any series? [1776.19] Andy: And was it last year as well? [1777.95] Andy: Because I'm not really off on the racing. [1780.03] Frank: Because we like the team format. [1784.59] Frank: Because it kind of makes it a bit more of a kind of fun thing. [1789.55] Frank: It's not head to head. [1791.47] Frank: It's a bit more of a group laugh than anything. [1795.07] Frank: So it's not a part of any series. [1797.47] Frank: It's completely separate. [1798.67] Frank: It's just a friendly race, essentially. [1801.95] Andy: Because didn't I read somewhere? [1804.51] Andy: I mean, I've been reading bits and pieces. [1807.31] Andy: But I've been kind of off social media. [1810.67] Andy: Not by trace, just by it wasn't possible. [1814.99] Andy: But didn't I read the i-series that was at the NEC has stopped? [1820.75] Andy: I think it is, yeah. [1821.87] Andy: Wasn't that a bit unusual? [1822.99] Andy: Really? [1823.31] Andy: It came out. [1824.83] Andy: Yeah, it's like, I don't know. [1827.55] Andy: I just saw a post that said, [1831.71] Tony: I saw the same post. [1833.63] Frank: If that's not true, you could be in a whole heap of trouble announcing that. [1839.31] Tony: False news. [1840.51] Tony: Yeah. [1840.99] Tony: I think it is true news. [1843.15] Tony: Real news. [1844.75] Frank: That's two votes for. [1845.87] Frank: So that's Tony and Andy are going on the libel case. [1848.59] Frank: I'm not saying anything. [1850.35] Frank: I'm not involved in this at all. [1852.35] Frank: Where's the thing, Jack? [1853.95] Frank: Read the thing. [1855.87] Jack: Tony is an idiot. [1857.31] Jack: Don't listen to him. [1858.35] Jack: The other thing. [1862.03] Andy: How about if I just say it was just a rumor that I heard on a post. [1866.19] Jack: But any views expressed by any guest on this show are personal [1870.67] Jack: and may not reflect the views of Let's Throw Now or any participant of the show. [1875.71] Jack: Please don't sue us. [1877.31] Jack: We're idiots. [1879.07] Andy: How can you only say that when I say this? [1882.59] Andy: You can talk like we're talking about. [1885.15] Andy: You're talking about dead hookers. [1886.83] Andy: In fact, I think on the flute death. [1891.63] Jack: That's absurd. [1893.47] Jack: Do you know what? [1894.35] Jack: On the safe side, right, guys, I'm going to move Let's Throw Now to comedy. [1899.63] Jack: So we're moving away from science and technology. [1902.67] Jack: We're on comedy. [1904.67] Andy: Under flute here is disputing it. [1906.99] Andy: He's saying it was live hookers that you were talking about. [1910.03] Andy: Oh, God. [1911.07] Andy: It's not dead hookers. [1914.27] Frank: Oh, God. [1915.47] Frank: So we're talking about the means of smoking, [1919.71] Frank: where you have the glass thing with the water and the tobacco and the pipe. [1924.99] Frank: That's what we're talking about here, just to clarify. [1928.11] Frank: Yes. [1928.83] Frank: Any... [1929.31] Jack: For tobacco used only. [1931.39] Frank: Any other spellings or misspellings? [1935.31] Frank: Moving on. [1936.27] Frank: Swiftly. [1937.15] Frank: Very swiftly. [1938.27] Frank: I have no idea. [1939.31] Frank: Another topic that's vaguely drone related, please. [1944.67] Tony: I have none. [1946.35] Tony: I don't. [1947.71] Tony: Hey, mate. [1949.23] Tony: Michael's in the chat. [1950.35] Tony: We behave now, everyone. [1951.87] Tony: What's up? [1952.67] Andy: Have any of you bought a Cinewoop for your Cinewoop challenge? [1958.27] Andy: I haven't yet. [1959.07] Frank: I do want one. [1960.67] Frank: Yeah. [1961.31] Frank: That is the thing we need to do. [1963.55] Tony: Mate, you're making an advert. [1964.59] Frank: You need to come down and fly your spot, Tony. [1967.87] Tony: When are we doing that? [1969.23] Tony: I've got a spot. [1971.31] Tony: Are we doing it this Saturday or what? [1975.63] Frank: Sounds good to me. [1979.23] Tony: I have got a spot. [1982.64] Tony: Will you have any LDO merch at MA5? [1987.12] Tony: That is a good question, will we? [1990.0] Tony: Frank. [1990.72] Jack: Frank's checked out as it is. [1992.24] Tony: Frank, undo your green top. [1994.24] Tony: I want a C-shirt, please. [1997.28] Jack: There you go. [1997.92] Tony: Look at that. [1998.64] Tony: It just mucks everything off. [2003.2] Tony: Wow. [2004.24] Jack: It feels like it's raping my eyes. [2006.72] Jack: I don't know if that's politically correct or not. [2011.6] Frank: Yeah, we gave Jack a microphone. [2013.92] Frank: We probably will. [2015.12] Jack: Sorry, I'm having a bad day. [2017.12] Frank: So, Oi, Andy, I've seen your Northern, but how Northern are you? [2022.24] Andy: Oh, yeah, that was fantastic. [2024.48] Andy: But for the viewers that don't know, Andy sent over sort of a questionnaire. [2033.52] Andy: Fantastic questionnaire. [2034.8] Andy: I don't know if you could link to it. [2037.52] Andy: It's kind of UK-based though, but it basically goes through a bunch of sayings [2044.08] Andy: and it narrows down to where you live very accurately. [2048.8] Andy: It was good, wasn't it? [2051.12] Andy: It was amazing. [2052.64] Andy: All of us did it. [2054.8] Frank: So, it's only one question. [2056.88] Frank: It's really simple. [2057.84] Frank: It's chips. [2059.52] Frank: And the answer, possible options are ketchup, gravy, curry sauce, or none of the above, [2064.64] Frank: which is obviously wrong. [2066.88] Frank: And that can tell you exactly where any of you can live. [2069.2] Tony: Ketchup has got to be south, isn't it? [2071.28] Frank: Exactly. [2072.48] Frank: No, it was a bit more complicated than that. [2074.64] Frank: Say that again. [2075.68] Tony: Say those words again. [2077.04] Tony: What one's yours in? [2079.76] Frank: So, you've got ketchup, gravy, curry sauce, or none of the above. [2085.12] Frank: Ketchup for me, south. [2088.24] Jack: I normally ketchup a lot, but now and again, [2092.64] Jack: I do like to spice it up with a bit of the old chip shop curry. [2098.0] Tony: Yeah, but you did live at Mill for a while. [2100.08] Jack: Only a bit. [2100.56] Jack: No, I didn't. [2102.16] Tony: Yes, you did. [2103.68] Jack: When? [2105.52] Andy: Anyway, I remember that. [2107.68] Andy: I'm a bit confused because I don't call it ketchup. [2112.4] Andy: I call it tomato sauce. [2114.8] Frank: Oh, so there's another questionnaire then. [2121.28] Frank: So, that can tell you exactly, you know, [2124.0] Frank: maybe that's east-west. [2125.92] Frank: I don't know. [2126.8] Andy: Well, I would have curry over everything because I'm curry mad. [2131.2] Andy: I love it. [2132.8] Andy: So, I don't know what that says. [2136.32] Andy: I don't like gravy at all. [2138.24] Andy: Gravy's never made sense to me. [2140.72] Jack: I know, like Canada, where curry kitten is now, [2145.28] Jack: gravy and cheese curds, poutine. [2149.68] Jack: Sounds rude isn't it actually is, but that is amazing. [2153.52] Andy: Like, wasn't there? [2156.0] Andy: I saw the South Park episode about KFC's gravy being like a crack of pain or something like that. [2165.2] Andy: I've never understood gravy. [2167.2] Jack: We are not liable for it. [2169.44] Jack: A big scary company like KFC. [2172.08] Tony: Well, look, Mr. Frost is Wyatt North and he has tomato sauce. [2176.72] Tony: Oh, it's broken the system. [2178.4] Tony: Everything has a lie, Mr. Frost. [2181.36] Tony: Oh, look, my co-reactor wants some sparklers. [2184.16] Tony: You can have two for your 10 bucks. [2186.08] Jack: One for each nipple, Tony, and hold them there. [2190.56] Jack: She's never going to come back on. [2193.44] Jack: Look, she's got a sense of humor. [2194.72] Jack: She works with kids. [2196.08] Jack: I know, but I'm not holding them there. [2198.4] Tony: Where the nipples are. [2200.4] Tony: There's your sparklers, Michael. [2202.16] Jack: It's fine if you leave your shirt on. [2206.16] Andy: The other one won't lie. [2208.0] Andy: The word ketchup makes no sense because it doesn't explain the ingredients. [2214.0] Andy: Ketchup. [2215.6] Andy: You can find mushroom ketchup. [2217.84] Frank: So you don't call it cake. [2219.2] Frank: You call it like flour egg sugar thing. [2223.68] Tony: Well, it won't lie. [2228.08] Tony: Yeah. [2230.48] Tony: No, but at least nothing. [2233.44] Andy: What a dead one. [2235.84] Andy: At least cake kind of has a meaning. [2237.92] Andy: Sorry, Michael. [2238.96] Andy: Ketchup means nothing. [2241.04] Andy: We've got any more. [2242.16] Frank: Ketchup means a big sauce you make for tomatoes. [2247.44] Andy: Anyway. [2248.4] Andy: So tomato sauce, then. [2253.76] Andy: So what would you call brown sauce? [2255.84] Andy: Is that ketchup? [2257.44] Tony: Someone take me off the screen. [2259.04] Jack: Okay. [2260.4] Andy: See, I see I've got you there, haven't I? [2262.64] Andy: Hey, brown sauce. [2263.44] Andy: Is it ketchup? [2265.04] Jack: Hey, please go off. [2267.52] Andy: Yeah, but it's not ketchup though, is it? [2270.64] Tony: Dave's Dory. [2271.92] Tony: I can read that. [2274.64] Tony: What's brown sauce made out of? [2277.52] Tony: It's tomato sauce. [2279.84] Tony: Gone off. [2283.44] Tony: I do like brown sauce though. [2284.88] Frank: Barbecue sauce is really nice. [2286.32] Frank: So we can guarantee absolutely no drone content. [2291.28] Frank: No, no, no, no. [2294.08] Andy: I've got an exclusive. [2297.04] Andy: I've got a couple. [2298.08] Andy: I've got a couple. [2298.96] Andy: We are not loyal. [2301.76] Tony: Are you going to get done again if you say this, Andy? [2305.2] Tony: I've got an ex... [2308.48] Andy: You see that box that I'm pointing to there? [2312.24] Andy: That one. [2312.96] Jack: I swear to God it's a good guy. [2315.28] Jack: Community guidelines thing. [2317.04] Jack: I'm driving up there and strangling you. [2319.12] Andy: I'm not allowed to say what's in that box, but... [2322.0] Andy: Well, then stop talking. [2327.84] Jack: Now I know how you feel, Frank. [2332.32] Jack: Just mute him. [2333.36] Jack: Just mute him. [2334.96] Jack: I'm muted him. [2337.92] Tony: It's for your own good. [2340.4] Tony: I'm not telling you what it is though. [2342.32] Jack: Okay. [2342.8] Tony: It looks like a controller. [2345.6] Tony: Tony, you stop talking. [2347.6] Tony: But I guess in the chat what it is. [2350.48] Andy: Yeah, no. [2351.28] Andy: Okay. [2351.6] Andy: So this box, I asked today whether I could talk about it today, [2355.44] Andy: but it's such a strange story. [2358.72] Andy: And when it comes out, it's going to be really interesting. [2362.48] Andy: But no, I can't talk about that one. [2364.4] Andy: But this one next to it, am I muted? [2371.12] Andy: This one next to it is really cool. [2373.68] Andy: So I'm going to show it here, okay? [2376.32] Andy: And I'm fine to show you this because it's well known off. [2379.92] Andy: And I've got permission to talk about it. [2383.04] Jack: I'm going to start having this habit where I eat glue or something. [2391.12] Andy: Anyone seen this thing? [2393.6] Jack: Looks like if a Mavic became a stormtrooper. [2397.92] Jack: Yeah, that's exactly what it looks like. [2400.08] Andy: I actually had to because I don't know. [2402.16] Frank: Stormtrooper helmet, like why is this thing in the front, isn't it? [2405.92] Andy: Because I don't understand science fiction. [2410.0] Andy: I said the word stormtrooper, but then edited it out [2413.52] Andy: because I wasn't sure if it was correct. [2415.68] Jack: Well, it's better than what I was thinking. [2417.92] Jack: I almost said it looks like a Mavic stormtrooper. [2424.08] Andy: What is a stormtrooper? [2425.68] Andy: Something out of Star Trek or something. [2428.56] Andy: Oh, wolves. [2429.76] Andy: Oh my god. [2430.96] Tony: I don't even know that. [2434.24] Jack: You just triggered half the chat. [2436.4] Jack: Tony, you need to light something on fire. [2438.48] Jack: You've shortchanged Mako React. [2440.4] Tony: Right, all right. [2441.36] Tony: And I like a big one, but I'd hate this popping bit. [2445.52] Tony: Is she still in the chat? [2446.88] Jack: Reactra. [2448.16] Tony: Reactra. [2449.36] Tony: There you go. [2449.76] Tony: I just call it Mako. [2452.0] Tony: What's this gone small now? [2453.52] Tony: This is even scarier. [2456.56] Jack: I don't like this. [2457.36] Jack: Oh, gods. [2457.84] Jack: Don't hurt yourself. [2459.04] Jack: Please someone. [2460.32] Tony: Livestream in which we see that bloody popping bit. [2464.88] Tony: There you go, Mako. [2467.52] Tony: You love it, Jack. [2468.48] Tony: You love it. [2469.28] Tony: Oh, one of my mates, Gary, he's in the chat. [2472.0] Tony: There's fusion. [2472.72] Tony: He's now a firefighter. [2473.92] Tony: So well done, Gary. [2475.36] Tony: You might have to come round first. [2477.2] Tony: That's a good idea. [2479.76] Jack: So you should make a calendar out of him. [2483.2] Tony: Well, he's quite hot. [2484.16] Tony: He's just shaking his beard off, though. [2485.76] Tony: He's not happy about it. [2487.04] Tony: Whatever I've said. [2488.64] Andy: It's sending the chat crazy. [2495.76] Andy: Look, Andy, yes, Andy, no, just no. [2501.12] Andy: Everyone's saying yes, no, yes, no, Andy. [2505.6] Andy: I'm allowed to say what this is. [2507.84] Andy: And do you know what? [2508.96] Andy: For a podcast that's got drone in the name, [2512.24] Andy: the fact that none of you know what this is [2514.8] Andy: is really quite alarming. [2518.16] Andy: None of you know what this is. [2520.4] Tony: It's a drone, isn't it? [2521.28] Tony: You found it. [2521.84] Jack: People in defense, I don't care. [2523.68] Jack: But yeah, carry on. [2526.48] Andy: You should care. [2527.84] Jack: Why? [2529.6] Andy: It's not a magic. [2531.52] Andy: Let me let me real off some. [2533.28] Jack: Does it vibrate? [2536.48] Jack: I can't believe I just said that out loud. [2539.04] Andy: Yeah. [2539.68] Jack: Look on Frank's face. [2541.6] Andy: It does, actually. [2543.52] Andy: So clearly, it's a folding drone, [2547.04] Andy: a bit like the Mavic. [2551.36] Andy: It's got a 4K capable camera, three axis gimbal. [2558.32] Andy: It looks very similar. [2563.68] Andy: The thing is, though, any folding quadcopter [2566.48] Andy: looks like a Mavic, doesn't it? [2568.72] Tony: Yeah, but no, I was talking, I was just saying, [2570.88] Tony: the gimbal looks good. [2574.32] Andy: Yeah, and that's the thing. [2576.96] Andy: So this is the FIMI X8 SE. [2584.08] Andy: FIMI is an offshoot of a company called Xiaomi. [2589.04] Andy: So you'll probably know Xiaomi. [2591.76] Andy: They actually used to call them Xiaomi drones, [2595.84] Andy: but they had to change the name to FIMI [2597.84] Andy: because people were getting confused [2599.6] Andy: between the phones and the drones [2603.04] Andy: because there are 4K capable phones [2606.48] Andy: and 4K capable drones. [2610.4] Andy: Even though it's made by the same phone company Xiaomi, [2613.68] Andy: they call it FIMI. [2615.84] Andy: So yeah, 4K, three axis. [2618.56] Jack: Can you imagine a phone drone? [2621.28] Jack: Sorry, I just thought about that. [2623.92] Frank: Drones exist because of phones anyway. [2626.24] Jack: Yeah, but can you imagine just having your phone [2630.16] Jack: flying around and then talking to it while it's in the air? [2635.44] Jack: Yeah, and then accidentally arming whilst you're talking on it. [2638.64] Tony: Brilliant, Jack. [2639.36] Tony: I think you should go to Dragon's Denon. [2641.84] Andy: Well, if you were in a DJI, [2643.68] Andy: you are actually doing that technically. [2645.76] Andy: I mean, you're certainly sending [2647.52] Andy: all of your personal information directly to them. [2651.2] Andy: In theory. [2655.84] Jack: You are, you are. [2657.6] Jack: Are you claiming that everyone is defecting? [2660.8] Jack: Well, that's what Facebook does as well. [2663.04] Frank: Yeah. [2667.28] Tony: Can I have a new lighter from the LDO money? [2669.84] Andy: I really get the feeling that you are worried [2673.12] Andy: that any word that comes out of my mouth. [2678.88] Andy: Is this useful to this show, what I'm showing to you? [2682.24] Frank: Yeah, just keep going. [2684.72] Frank: Because it's showing up quite low res on my screen, [2686.56] Frank: but that's probably my bandwidth. [2688.8] Frank: Or your shirt. [2690.08] Frank: DJI on the sort of the end of it, [2693.68] Frank: the opposite end from the tail end. [2696.4] Frank: From a distance, that looks like the DJI logo to me. [2699.52] Andy: No, it couldn't be any further from DJI. [2704.08] Tony: I agree. [2704.56] Tony: It looks more like your shirt than DJI, I think. [2709.12] Andy: Yeah, clearly DJI started the whole folding drone thing. [2716.8] Andy: But in the same way that Apple started off the iPhone, [2721.28] Andy: and then Android just completely took over. [2725.36] Andy: Anyways. [2727.28] Andy: Now their phones fold. [2729.36] Andy: Let me reel off some specs, [2731.2] Andy: and you guys tell me how much you think it costs. [2734.32] Andy: So it's got a five kilometer range. [2737.68] Andy: Too far, legal. [2741.2] Andy: Yeah, but so does DJI. [2745.12] Andy: So it's got a five kilometer range. [2747.6] Andy: It does 4K. [2750.56] Jack: Are we doing the right rules? [2753.76] Tony: I have no idea why. [2755.6] Tony: Who gets the closest wins, I think. [2757.84] Frank: But if you go over, then you lose. [2760.24] Tony: Then you've got to take a cloving off. [2763.2] Andy: It's got ultrasonic sensor underneath. [2766.24] Andy: It's got optical, only need one these days, apparently. [2772.4] Andy: If you speak to Vernon from my... [2775.6] Andy: In fact, he says you don't need one at all. [2778.56] Andy: But yeah, just one. [2780.96] Andy: An optical flow camera for precision landing. [2785.68] Tony: We've got 299 in the chat. [2787.12] Tony: 3A, E29, E279, 501 pounds, 199, 600 quid. [2792.72] Tony: It's quite a lot of different... [2794.96] Jack: 350 is my guess. [2796.56] Tony: 499. [2797.84] Andy: So the cheapest DJI Mavic Pro that I could find was 624 pounds. [2808.64] Andy: This costs... [2810.16] Tony: I haven't guessed. [2811.44] Tony: Yeah, you went 499. [2813.84] Tony: Oh, I'm reading the chat. [2815.6] Tony: Mikey Dred says 100 quid. [2818.8] Tony: I reckon it's 380 pounds. [2824.0] Jack: You're all the me. [2826.08] Jack: What? [2827.12] Jack: I said 399. [2828.48] Jack: You're 380 and Frank said 20 pence. [2832.0] Andy: Right. [2832.48] Andy: Who's the winner? [2834.16] Andy: It's 388 pounds for $500, which... [2839.44] Jack: Jack, you've got to take an item of coving off. [2844.0] Jack: It's only my shirt left. [2846.96] Andy: It's almost half the price of a secondhand Mavic Pro. [2855.92] Andy: And it's pretty incredible. [2858.32] Andy: It's fairly new. [2859.36] Andy: This is like a prototype version, but it's going to be coming out in like, [2864.64] Andy: I think maybe a week's time. [2866.56] Tony: If it's got all that, it's pretty good money for that, isn't it? [2869.76] Andy: It's incredible. [2870.88] Andy: Yeah. [2871.2] Andy: And the footage that it produces is great as well. [2874.4] Andy: So that's my exclusive that I can talk about. [2878.56] Andy: In fact, the video is uploading as we speak. [2882.4] Andy: I don't know. [2883.76] Andy: Because it's 4k though, it can take up to two days for YouTube to render it. [2889.12] Andy: So yeah, pretty interesting company because whatever they do, [2899.36] Andy: they take their time with it and they seem to get it right [2904.08] Andy: where a lot of people rush it and get it wrong. [2907.68] Jack: Are they the same people who made the Yao Me? [2910.8] Andy: They're the same company that, do you mean the Yi camera? [2917.44] Andy: There's the Xiaomi Yi camera that was like, [2923.04] Andy: they're basically a company that just looks at horrendously expensive stuff. [2929.52] Andy: So like the G word, I'm not going to say the company name, but the G word. [2935.04] Andy: So they came out with a camera that at the time competed with that, [2942.64] Andy: but at a huge fraction of the price. [2945.28] Andy: And that's basically what they do is, but they don't copy. [2952.24] Andy: They do things in a completely different way. [2956.4] Andy: So I appreciate that. [2958.96] Andy: And yeah, so yeah, that's my exclusive. [2964.88] Andy: The controller is awesome as well. [2967.76] Jack: It sounds like FOMO, the G word. [2974.96] Andy: This is the controller. [2978.56] Jack: Do the little things unscrew? [2980.56] Jack: Ooh, that's just a controller that went that way to that way. [2990.48] Andy: Yeah, but they've been so clever about it compared. [2993.52] Andy: Like, I don't know if any of you guys own a Mavic, [2996.72] Andy: but the controller on the Mavic is so clumsy to try and get your phone in. [3003.28] Andy: In order to get my phone into a Mavic, I have to take the case off it. [3007.76] Andy: You have to mess around with wires. [3009.84] Andy: This one has got a little indent in there and this wire just fits in perfect. [3019.52] Andy: Any phone, any tablet will fit in. [3022.32] Andy: And this is just a completely different way of thinking than DJI. [3028.16] Andy: And yeah, I really like it. [3032.08] Andy: What's the plastic build quality like? [3034.48] Andy: Build quality is just amazing for the price. [3038.24] Andy: I mean, you know, yeah, I really can't complain. [3042.72] Andy: Maybe not quite as on par with DJI, [3049.28] Andy: but we're talking nowhere near DJI money, but similar results. [3056.64] Jack: Without getting you into trouble, I have got a question. [3062.56] Jack: What's that in that box behind you? [3064.4] Jack: No. [3065.52] Jack: That would get me into trouble. [3067.04] Jack: Any news on Hubsan? [3069.44] Jack: What have you been up to? [3071.76] Andy: They released the Zeno, which is a very similar product to this, [3079.36] Andy: but it doesn't quite hold its position as well. [3085.2] Andy: The Zeno has got a very good camera and gimbal, [3088.72] Andy: but it doesn't have the optical flow, the sonar. [3094.48] Andy: So basically it's choosing like two, three year old technology, [3100.8] Andy: which isn't as accurate. [3103.2] Andy: So it can't be just using dead reckoning. [3108.16] Andy: Like when you buy a DJI or something like this, [3114.4] Andy: you can be in like 10, 20 mile per hour winds, [3118.88] Andy: and the thing just sits there like it's a tripod. [3123.44] Andy: Whereas the Zeno, because it doesn't take pictures of the ground [3128.8] Andy: and it's not using ultrasonic, [3133.28] Andy: this thing when you turn it on, it's clicking straight away. [3138.16] Andy: You can hear the clicking and that is sending the ultrasonic [3145.12] Andy: and then reflecting it back to get an accurate height, [3150.0] Andy: which the Zeno doesn't have. [3152.32] Andy: But the Zeno is a little bit cheaper as well. [3155.04] Andy: So yeah, there's a lot more options out there now than just DJI. [3161.44] Andy: There's the Parrot Anafi, which I've got as well, [3166.4] Andy: but I haven't tested that one yet. [3172.16] Andy: The thing that excites me about the Anafi is the fact that it can look up. [3176.56] Andy: Look up, yeah, that's quite good. [3177.84] Andy: Yeah, and I thought that would have been cool to have at the cooling towers, [3184.16] Andy: just looking straight up without getting any props in shot. [3189.44] Andy: That was my main thing for that. [3191.2] Andy: I want to go back to there and get some cool shots of those cooling towers. [3196.4] Tony: I want to go back there as well. [3198.0] Tony: Spring maybe. [3199.92] Frank: I thought it would have been back there since and it was not accessible anymore. [3206.64] Tony: I don't think I'm sure I've seen anything. [3212.56] Andy: I knew someone that went there last week. [3215.76] Frank: That's pretty recent. [3217.28] Andy: But what you have to remember is there are always new ways to access places. [3224.48] Andy: Okay, but from what I have learnt, [3230.0] Andy: the way that me and Tony got in was probably the hardest way. [3235.2] Andy: Oh, great. [3236.64] Andy: And there is a much easier way. [3240.32] Andy: Typical. [3241.28] Tony: So we had to run past a farmer with the shotgun, [3245.28] Tony: wade through that horrible yellow sludge. [3250.32] Andy: It wasn't sludge, was it? [3251.84] Andy: That was uranium. [3253.12] Tony: I think it was sheep poo. [3255.12] Tony: It was poo. [3256.32] Andy: It was definitely poo. [3259.92] Andy: Those shoes had to go in the bin when I got home. [3263.28] Andy: And my legs were covered in nettles because I went in shorts. [3270.16] Andy: And apparently, if you attack it from a different angle, [3273.6] Andy: it's just basically all concrete and just a gate that you can open. [3280.72] Andy: We won't go there. [3283.12] Andy: But I'd love to go back there. [3286.0] Jack: We do not encourage trespassing or any illegal activity on this show. [3292.56] Tony: I could dread sitting once to go, so we have to invite him. [3297.2] Andy: This is the problem that we face now, though, because of the G word. [3302.32] Andy: It's sort of like harmless things like that have now become newsworthy. [3312.64] Andy: If we were doing some of the stuff that guys are doing in America, bouncing off buildings and [3322.72] Andy: not to mention any names, but people are literally flying their [3327.36] Andy: five, six-inch cotters in the street where there are cars. [3336.4] Andy: We just couldn't do that here. [3339.84] Andy: It does make me wonder, could we post a video at those towers these days after what has happened? [3349.04] Jack: I mean, you were sweating on the train upload, weren't you, really? [3353.76] Andy: Yeah, I was. [3356.72] Andy: There are videos out there copying exactly what I did, but before the whole G word happened, [3364.16] Andy: so it wasn't a problem. [3365.68] Andy: People are like, oh, yeah, that's awesome. [3367.92] Andy: Anytime you see someone do something that is, I guess, technically outside of the regulations, [3375.84] Andy: but safe, people never look at it in a negative aspect. [3385.2] Andy: When an airport gets involved, all of a sudden, it's all over the news, and it just makes you [3392.8] Andy: think, where can you think? [3394.16] Andy: I mean, it's never really worried me, because I just like flying in my field. [3400.08] Andy: I just like doing aerobatics. [3402.32] Andy: People say that's boring, and you have to push the boundaries, and you have to be flying [3408.0] Andy: through the underneath of trains and stuff like that. [3417.28] Tony: Well, you know what we could do? [3418.72] Tony: Use a Cine Woop, set up some kind of train track in someone's house or something. [3428.64] Andy: Yeah, get one of those big scale trains. [3431.44] Jack: Railway at Weston Park. [3434.32] Jack: Legoland? [3435.76] Jack: Can't go there. [3438.48] Jack: No, it'd be badass. [3441.52] Tony: Anyone in the chat got any ideas of any guests that we can invite on? [3448.96] Tony: We got someone next week, haven't we, Jack? [3451.92] Jack: I'm not too sure how it's going to go down, but this is me trying. [3457.52] Jack: In my recent run, I've tried, and I've fallen flat. [3465.28] Jack: Hopefully, it will be an interesting one, at least it's drone related. [3469.6] Tony: It's drone related. [3470.48] Tony: It's not more mowers or anything. [3472.4] Jack: Okay, well, that's good. [3474.24] Jack: Right, sorry. [3475.04] Tony: Well, Mr. King said, anyone with boobs. [3478.64] Frank: We've got Jack. [3479.2] Frank: What more do you want? [3480.24] Frank: Yeah, five. [3481.36] Andy: And Andy. [3483.28] Jack: I deserve it because I've been a total dickhead. [3486.88] Andy: Agreeing, you haven't. [3490.48] Jack: I have. [3490.96] Jack: I don't like stressing Frank out. [3493.84] Jack: Frank, the conversation we were having about how quiet it is and you saying, [3499.28] Jack: I wonder if people have been flying, but not uploading. [3504.64] Frank: Yeah, because Jack was saying, oh, no one's doing anything. [3507.12] Frank: The hobby's dead. [3508.48] Frank: It's all gone away. [3509.2] Jack: I weren't that bad. [3510.8] Frank: He's like, no one's ever flying ever again. [3513.68] Frank: Everyone's leaving the hobby, everyone's selling their stuff. [3517.12] Frank: Well, there's a card in the room. [3519.36] Frank: There we go. [3521.04] Frank: That was word for word exactly what Jack said. [3523.12] Frank: Who wasn't? [3523.68] Jack: I said, it's public attitudes of trains. [3526.48] Jack: Not him. [3526.88] Frank: He's taking it all back now. [3529.44] Frank: God. [3530.48] Frank: I just thought, you know, maybe. [3532.16] Jack: I mean, I'm in an even worse mood than I am. [3536.0] Jack: Yes, I carry on. [3537.44] Frank: Well, I just thought, maybe people are still. [3540.4] Frank: Flying and just not posting it on social media, [3543.68] Frank: because that's where kind of the trouble lies. [3548.96] Frank: Even if someone's flying perfectly reasonably, [3551.12] Frank: perfectly legally, they might not feel as confident posting that video up on anywhere [3559.6] Frank: now or talking about it or anything like that, because who knows who's going to have an issue [3566.32] Frank: with it? You know, even if you're perfectly in the right, you might get grief for it. [3573.12] Frank: So it might stop people from posting as much as they used to. [3578.72] Frank: So just because it's gone quiet doesn't necessarily mean that no one's flying. [3586.16] Andy: You are absolutely right. [3587.76] Andy: In fact, believe it or not, like, because I see these huge statistics, [3596.64] Andy: and, like, boost in interest, and believe it or not, since the whole Gatwick, Heathrow, [3604.8] Andy: and all of that thing, you would think that would scare people into thinking, [3609.6] Andy: I don't want to do this yet. [3612.88] Andy: I've seen a trend, which really surprised me, that ever since that has happened, [3620.24] Andy: there have been more views on YouTube, there have been a lot, considerable, [3627.2] Andy: a lot more sales of drone parts since those events have happened than before. [3635.68] Andy: So even though the stories may have been negative, what it has actually done is it said, actually, [3644.16] Andy: there are these drone things, and some people might have thought, yeah, that could be a hobby [3650.96] Andy: for me. And I think that, surprisingly, out of all the negative, you know, they say there's no [3658.0] Andy: negative publicity. I think that's kind of what's happened. And I think you are right, [3664.88] Andy: people maybe aren't posting more about it. But from what I can see more people, I think, [3671.52] Andy: from a view perspective, I haven't had this many views on YouTube since the height of the thing. [3683.28] Andy: And yeah, so I'm feeling pretty, despite all of this Gatwick stuff, and I know Jack's feeling like [3691.12] Andy: negative, and all of this regulation stuff, all I'm seeing, I'm seeing actually growth for the [3698.08] Andy: first time since the hype began. So it's maybe all of this. Any news is good news. [3712.4] Jack: Not it, is it? No, I'm not saying that. No such thing as bad publicity. [3719.52] Andy: There we go. So that's some real stats for you there. [3725.44] Andy: Well, that's really good news. To put a positive spin on it. [3729.28] Tony: So people in the chat have said they would like, quite a lot of people said, Chad Nowak, back on, [3735.52] Jack: so we could try that. He's having a bit of a break at the moment. [3740.32] Tony: Well, I know he hasn't flown, but he might want to come on. Exactly. Dave's story says he wants [3746.88] Jack: Rachel Riley on, I'll see what I can do. Tony, I would, two things I would do, I would, I would [3756.24] Jack: suck your dick. I can't let you, I'd rather you not do it if I got all right, there you go. [3765.12] Jack: And also, if anyone, by the way, Grace Neutral this weekend is in Brighton at the tattoo convention, [3773.92] Jack: if anyone can convince her to tattoo T-N-Y on my buttocks, I'll do it. [3783.92] Andy: Rachel Riley's vegan as well, you know. Well, she needs marrying to me then. [3789.04] Andy: She's already married to her. Well, she can divorce whoever it is. [3792.96] Andy: She got this strictly cursed, didn't she? Is that what they call it? [3798.16] Jack: Where she was, like, engaged to somebody. Yeah, then they get a dance partner. [3807.04] Tony: Is that what happens? Have I got to go dancing? [3814.48] Andy: I mean, I mean, when you think about what dancing is, it's a, it's a, like, pre-rich, [3820.4] Andy: it's like, this is very physical. These are my, these are my moves that I can do with my clothes [3827.2] Andy: on. Imagine what I can do without them. I've been told a period of time. [3831.76] Jack: Anyway, thank you for joining Litch Drone Out. Tonight you've been joined by Andrew Scratch Frank. [3837.12] Jack: Goodbye. The liability that is Andy RC. [3841.68] Andy: Why am I a liability? Just because I'm talking about dancing. [3846.32] Jack: My little Tony who's no trouble at all. Bonjour. [3850.32] Jack: And I do apologize for my Frank and foul mouth, but don't forget I'm heavily medicated [3856.4] Jack: and suffering from post-traumatic and possible child abuse. I've been brought until I fly. [3862.24] Tony: Good night. Thank you, Patreons and everyone who [3865.52] Tony: tunes in on a Thursday. We love you all. Telemetry lost.
