[317.65] AndyRC: sure if we were going to be able to fly because the forecast was rain all weekend anyways I was
[323.09] AndyRC: up to like two in the morning trying to find local spots I found one which I thought was great I flew
[329.25] AndyRC: Tony flew and also Joker flew so we got lucky there and then on the Saturday we went to Weston Park
[339.97] AndyRC: uh which is like you know one of the biggest model shows and you you know Tony made me laugh uh
[348.69] AndyRC: because because like pretty much all day he just pointed the thing that was flying and said and
[355.49] AndyRC: would say is there a man in that so Phil's the guy that taught me how to fly some 27 years 28.
[364.13] AndyRC: Why accused him of trying to molester you? Anyways I like I think I um I rang I rang
[369.81] AndyRC: Philip yesterday and I said because we go to this indoor thing and uh I said um I said are
[377.65] AndyRC: we flying because it was raining and he said well there's me and a man in in a car park and
[384.93] AndyRC: we don't know what to do with each other or something like that and I said have you been
[389.41] AndyRC: and he's like I've never heard him say anything like that before I was like you've
[393.25] AndyRC: you've been listening to too much Jack mate his tour is slow but that's that's what happened to
[398.53] AndyRC: me I was so innocent and then you know Jack he's just brought out the worst of me all the best.

[1479.33] AndyRC: because 16 by 10 is sort of in the middle between four by three and 16 by nine
[1487.41] AndyRC: so the problem that you've got is if you use four by three goggles it and you use a four
[1494.13] AndyRC: 16 by nine cam is that it squishes it on the vertical axis so when you do a roll it just
[1501.81] AndyRC: looks weird now you can get away with a four by three camera on 16 by nine because it stretches
[1508.61] AndyRC: the horizontal and it it it looks fine um but for some reason it just um it's it's different more
[1516.61] AndyRC: difficult to fly so i think they've gone 16 by 10 so that you can use four by three and 16 by nine
[1524.53] AndyRC: cameras and you you you'll sort of be able to use both and not have to change settings unless it was
[1531.57] Curry: just a fluke and a screen i reckon it's probably like oh look we can get these uh these little
[1537.01] Curry: strings cheap uh do what aspect ratio then uh whatever just stick them in there for for
[1543.25] AndyRC: that for oled they're really low resolution though aren't they they're like oh really
[1547.89] Curry: really weird weren't they they're sort of uh are they 640 by 400 or something bizarre yeah yeah
[1553.81] Curry: that's it that's a really weird well like you said it's a bit of a weird ratio isn't it but
[1558.13] Jack: i would imagine you'd see a lot of pixels through that yeah but do you run v3s curry i do yeah ah i
[1566.53] Curry: didn't i thought i was just all on my own no i've got them i had to i had to do the power mod in mine
[1573.33] Curry: which is frightening very easy isn't it it's easy but i made it look easy taking a screwdriver into
[1580.05] Curry: it in order getting the face the the the face thing off is the hardest thing because that's
[1585.97] Curry: like a screwdriver into the goggles to get the little tabs open to get it open what is the power
[1591.97] Curry: mod the power mod so the l1l10 thing to do the bypass because it was it was the fault of the
[1600.13] Curry: furious fpv 2dx where it's like oh it comes with the extra board so you can put it in the
[1607.41] Curry: head tracker bay but what i didn't know until i read the instructions properly after i tried it
[1613.81] Curry: you have to solder over a jumper on the module itself to say i'm using external power which
[1618.69] Curry: i thought was a bit weird i thought well i'm gonna have to solder anyway i'll just open it up and do
[1622.53] Curry: it and i stupidly only did one of the the module changes so that i just did the l1 i plugged my
[1629.97] Curry: rapid fire then that seemed fine so i closed them all up again and flew with them and then like one
[1635.09] Curry: minute into the flight one of the one of the receivers in the rapid fire shut down and decided
[1639.33] Curry: it had low voltage again so it starts off being fine and shuts down so i had to open it all back
[1643.97] Curry: up again to do the l10 mod and then it was all okay which was annoying is it better than rapid
[1653.17] AndyRC: fire anyways because like rapid fire it's just what the 2d the yeah the true well true x whatever
[1659.57] Curry: it's called well i'm glad i said no then i mean there's some really nice features on them and
[1668.13] Curry: i have to say that furious fpv are much better in terms of their support stuff so you ask them a
[1673.65] Curry: question you get an answer within 24 hours immersion rcr though because they're basically fat
[1679.09] Curry: sharp yeah yeah but they've been it depends what question you ask them if you ask them a question
[1684.85] AndyRC: they don't want to answer them and they're never answering it well my button was was unusable and
[1690.37] AndyRC: within a week it was back with me you know it's in fact immersion rcs customer service is the
[1697.33] AndyRC: same as fat sharks it's um dave and bibian is it yeah well that sort of hardware support and stuff
[1705.65] Curry: from from those guys is good but if you have a question about hey tell me about your old
[1711.01] Curry: immersion rc 600s which sander told me ages ago would work perfectly on the rapid fires
[1719.81] Curry: and they don't seem rocks and glass houses people rocks and then so i dropped the message on
[1725.81] Curry: facebook and i gave him a video showing here's how it looks in the the old um next wave module
[1733.89] Curry: which was perfect it looks in rapid fire which is awful what's going on and then nobody answers me
[1740.13] Curry: so i try pinging a message to he doesn't answer me and so then i go i think the message is done
[1748.69] Curry: but he doesn't answer me so i don't think they want to answer it because it doesn't work
