[377.78] Frank: your proof of membership that you are part of one of those associations, so the BMFA or FPV UK,
[384.34] Frank: or the Large Model Association or the Scottish Air Remodelers or all these UK model flying
[391.86] Frank: associations. If you've got your proof that you're a member of one of them and you've got a copy of
[400.42] Frank: this exemption, so literally just download it from the CIA's website, you're good till July,
[406.74] Frank: turns out, and you don't need to bother with your operator ID or getting that on your craft.

[495.3] NJ: This is basically the CAA is that guy that sat there and decided,
[501.22] NJ: oh, God, have I actually got to sit down and do this? Like, I've just been happy on donut

[510.02] NJ: do it? All right, I'll do it. And then panicking within an hour, realizing the mammoth task that
[514.74] NJ: was in front of them. That's kind of what's happening here.
[521.78] Frank: From what I can tell, because there have been quite a few people that have registered through
[526.98] Frank: multiple ways, so either the CAA and the BMFA or CA and FPVUK or BMFA and FPVUK or all three or
[535.62] Frank: others, they kind of assumed that people wouldn't do that. And by doing that,
[542.98] Frank: that's kind of stopped their import and it's not worked very well. From what I can tell.
[547.22] Tony: Hopefully, the nine quid thing will start in July rather than so we're paying our lives.
[554.74] Frank: So that is what is now happening, is that they've gone, oh, well, this is taking longer than we
[559.94] Frank: thought. We're not going to be able to get everyone sorted out. We don't want those more
[564.74] Frank: people signing up as soon as the weather turns good because we don't want to keep up with it.
[569.06] Frank: So let's kick it down the road until July when everything else is changing every way anyway,
[575.46] Frank: which is basically what we were kind of all wondering why they didn't just do that back
[579.38] Frank: in November. Yeah, so that's what's been done is now everything changes in July instead of
[586.1] Frank: it changing in October, then November, then February, then January, then whatever else.
[593.14] NJ: I'll just pick up quickly on a good question. Do we need reg numbers now
[598.82] NJ: if we have them already? Now, to my understanding, if you have the reg number
[602.58] NJ: and you've already paid and you've got your registration number, then yes,
[606.74] NJ: you do still have to use that operator ID on your craft according to what I said.
[611.3] Frank: I spoke to Simon about this, Simon Dell, FPV UK, and he said the side effect of the exemption is
[618.1] Frank: that as long as you've got the exemption and your membership documents, then the operator ID
[622.5] Frank: requirement isn't there anymore because it's exempt from that. So even if you've got it,
[627.54] NJ: you've put it on your craft. That conflict's what I read,
[631.78] NJ: but it was a CAA thing that I read. Okay. Part of their statement that said you
[637.62] NJ: still should fly with your operator ID if you've got one. But that may have been talking directly
[643.3] NJ: to the people who have registered directly with the CAA and not your organization, but yeah.
[650.34] NJ: So gray area likes so much more of it. Oh yeah.
[656.9] NJ: Go on, you swear, Jack, you're back. I mean, an exemption is an exemption as far as what's
[662.74] NJ: written as the exemption document. And if you're to take that at its word, then even if you have
[667.86] NJ: registered and you have your number, if you fill the criteria of their exemption as it's printed,
[672.9] NJ: then you shouldn't need to put your operator ID up. So yes, I think the answer is carry those
[679.38] NJ: two things and you shouldn't have to cover your models in labels. Yeah, absolutely. Which is all

[3222.87] NJ: You've got a deeper back and the contrast will give you a clearer picture for sure.
[3229.03] NJ: For me, going as you say, subjective to me, I'm going from the HD threes, which are an LCD panel
[3235.59] NJ: to a bigger, very nice, clear LCD panel, which is very nice experience.
[3240.63] NJ: Higher res, probably as well.
[3242.71] NJ: But if someone says it's that analog experience or the fat shark,
[3246.55] NJ: and there's not like a big difference between the two other than you've got a bigger,
[3252.39] NJ: physically bigger screen in there, which is obviously nice.
[3255.91] NJ: In terms of the visual sort of how nice it looks, as I'm not comparing it to an OLED panel,
[3262.47] NJ: it looks as great as it ever has for me, works fine.
[3265.35] NJ: The big seller for me is the fact that you've got that awesome 20 megapixel DVR and it's 60
[3275.11] NJ: FPS. That is worth its weight in gold because now my DVR footage looks way smoother and nice.

[3284.87] NJ: If I'm going to go out and do a video review on a work or anything that is going to be running analog,
[3292.15] NJ: then I will take those DGIs with me now and get the great footage from the DVR that's on board.
