[831.44] Eric: I bought a spot welder from eBay for like 60 bucks last summer for just this purpose.

[841.68] Eric: The stationary one with the two leads you just push up on.

[846.24] Eric: Five minutes and I had the battery pack assembled.

[855.6] Eric: There's enough nickel or zinc strips came with that spot welder to make 20 packs.

[2488.15] AndyRC: It uses a modified lighter cigarette lighter.

[2493.59] AndyRC: With like a tube that goes out to an exhaust.
[2498.39] AndyRC: And it sort of uses the gas from the cigarette lighter
[2504.23] AndyRC: and the Arduino board to sort of send a pulse.
[2507.67] AndyRC: And so it's like a proper button.
[2510.95] AndyRC: The only problem is it's proper loud.
[2512.63] AndyRC: It sounds like firecracker.
[2515.67] AndyRC: I was going to display it on the show, but it's like,
[2520.07] AndyRC: so there's the backfire system, the exhaust system.
[2523.75] AndyRC: But then it's also having a, because it's a drift car,
[2527.67] AndyRC: a smoke system, which uses baby oil to light a filament.

[2562.63] AndyRC: So to use head tracking, they have trainer out ports

[2567.19] AndyRC: So you can play Colin McRae rally with your car controller,
[2571.03] AndyRC: but there's no programmable head tracking for an RC car.
[2574.71] AndyRC: You'd have to use a transmitter that like, you know,
[2579.91] AndyRC: for planes and quads and stuff, which is really weird on a drift car
[2584.07] AndyRC: because you need that precision steering.
[2586.55] AndyRC: So the only way to do it again are do we now and a bit,
[2591.75] AndyRC: put a bit of code on there to mix the PPM
[2595.43] AndyRC: signals separately from the board.
[2598.39] AndyRC: But I've got it somewhere, but yes, that's what a video,
[2602.71] AndyRC: but it's going to be a massive sort of video as well.

[2609.91] AndyRC: It's just going to be a sort of, because it's one of those things.
