[0.0] Jack: Hello and welcome to Let's Drone Out, the best, well the only UK FPV podcast,
[6.8] Jack: sponsored by the lovely people from our Patreon, patreon.com forward slash Let's Drone Out.
[12.88] Jack: In particular we'd like to thank these guys, Art Faulkner, Mikey Dredd, Wacky Wes, David Powell.
[24.24] Jack: Thank you guys, you're the best, we can edit our podcast, thank you.
[59.15] Jack: Hello and welcome to another episode of Let's Drone Out. Tonight,
[65.95] Jack: you are joined by everyone's favourite, Curry Kitten.
[69.15] Jack: Hello.
[70.51] Jack: Have you got a disclaimer?
[72.83] Curry: Yeah, do you want me to do it now or shall I wait for Andy Arcee to introduce himself?
[76.83] Jack: No, I'm about to, after we've done the disclaimer we can introduce Andy Arcee.
[82.51] Curry: Okay, any of you is expressed by any guest on this show, a person on my phone's ringing
[87.47] Curry: and now I've lost my track, may not reflect the views or any participant of the show and
[92.51] Curry: I'm not picking on Andy because he's been very well behaved lately and is doing an
[98.03] Curry: awesome blowjob impression.
[101.95] AndyRC: How would you know?
[103.71] AndyRC: We're so professional.
[105.07] Curry: Oh, you do protest a little bit too much there, Andy.
[111.07] Jack: We're also joined by Andy Arcee.
[113.39] Jack: I do.
[116.91] Jack: My little Tony.
[118.51] Jack: Bonjour.
[120.51] Jack: And of course our Lord of Master and Savior, Andrew slash Frank.
[125.55] Jack: He's not the Messiah, he's just a...
[130.91] Frank: Good evening.
[132.03] Jack: How is everyone?
[133.31] Jack: Has anything happened?
[134.19] Jack: Has anyone managed to achieve anything?
[140.08] Curry: I made two videos yesterday, but I haven't released them yet.
[144.32] AndyRC: You made two videos?
[146.4] Curry: Yes.
[147.28] Curry: What on?
[149.04] Curry: I've decided to do an open TX tutorial series because I could do that.
[153.76] Curry: But I did get according a sector 132 from HTLRC, which is flyable in the garden.
[159.76] Curry: Thank goodness.
[161.44] AndyRC: Oh yeah, I think Lee did that one recently, didn't he?
[164.56] AndyRC: Yeah, I just said, I've been just saying no to them because you don't know whether
[171.68] AndyRC: by the time it turns out you'll be able to do anything with it or not.
[175.04] Curry: At the moment, my doing stuff too, because HTLRC also sent GPS receivers and VTXs.
[183.28] Curry: And I was like, well, I'm going to have to invent a new type of video where I either
[187.2] Curry: do the range tests at six feet, or I say, here's how I set it up.
[191.2] Curry: I'll be back in six months time or whatever, when we'll be flying it properly.
[196.0] Curry: But until that time, this is what it looks like.
[198.08] Curry: It's what you can do.
[199.2] AndyRC: We should ask the audience if any of those have been out flying, if none of us have.
[207.28] AndyRC: I think it's been three weeks for me, which is the long, it's very frustrating,
[211.68] AndyRC: but there's not a lot you can do about it.
[216.24] Curry: Sorry, I was just going to say, when did you do that video you released today, Andy,
[219.36] Curry: which I haven't watched because apparently I've got one on the way,
[222.64] Curry: so I didn't want to know about it.
[225.36] AndyRC: Just before they were to announce full, like, can't go outside unless such and such, whatever.
[234.88] AndyRC: We had one sunny day where I did, and I was like, right,
[238.8] AndyRC: this is probably the last day that we're going to get.
[240.88] AndyRC: So I did five flights of products, which I never do because I always forget how they were.
[248.56] AndyRC: And then I thought that if I do just one video a week, that's five weeks.
[254.0] AndyRC: And that was the last one yesterday, but it was done a long time ago.
[258.08] AndyRC: So what I did was I wrote a load of notes down when I did the flight because I always,
[262.88] AndyRC: that's why I do a video, upload it, and then move on to the next one rather than
[268.0] AndyRC: do a load of flights because I'm terrible at remembering, you know,
[273.04] AndyRC: like, you know, so I just wrote them all down.
[275.04] AndyRC: But I guess the biggest issue for going out and doing flying is that
[284.16] AndyRC: the field that I fly on is busier than ever with people doing their one hour of exercise.
[291.2] AndyRC: So that's the challenge.
[292.64] AndyRC: I mean, technically, I could go out and fly, you know, but I'm trying not to if I don't need to.
[300.0] AndyRC: That's why I was going to put it to the audience.
[302.96] AndyRC: How many of them are getting a sneaky flight out there?
[306.4] AndyRC: Yeah, I saw him out.
[309.84] Frank: Well, I saw him put out a video a few days ago of him flying away from his garden.
[317.84] Frank: Yeah, just yeah, I can feel it outside the back of his house by the looks of things.
[322.32] Frank: That was an interesting video.
[325.12] Frank: I remember it had the YouTubers picked it up as back in black, but given the wrong artist.
[333.36] AndyRC: Well, that's not difficult to do.
[336.32] AndyRC: It does that all the time.
[337.68] AndyRC: You can upload your own music and it picks it up as someone else's and they get the money for it,
[342.24] AndyRC: such as YouTube is great for that.
[346.08] AndyRC: We're allowed to go out.
[347.2] AndyRC: It's just whether it's worth the hassle, you know, because you've got people doing their
[352.96] AndyRC: exercise and stuff that would have normally have been at work or whatever.
[357.28] Tony: And, you know, I've seen so many fat people trying to exercise.
[361.84] Tony: It's hilarious.
[363.2] Curry: It's all kind of unnecessary, though, is that I'm sort of going with the basis that if I don't have
[367.44] Curry: to go out, I mean, no one I'm not going to die if I don't get to fly anything.
[370.96] Curry: It's not like getting food or drugs, is it?
[372.8] Curry: So stay at home, use my garden.
[378.08] Curry: Our road is like a thoroughfare for getting to the park.
[381.04] Curry: It's busier than ever because everybody's using it to walk through with their dogs and stuff.
[384.88] Curry: It's just a nightmare out there.
[386.56] AndyRC: Yeah, that's my biggest worry is, you know, plus there's going to be
[391.6] AndyRC: people I'm seeing families everywhere doing their exercise.
[395.6] AndyRC: And so it's not dog walkers anymore.
[398.4] AndyRC: And it's whether they are, you know, they're not used to seeing a quadcopter flying around this
[405.76] AndyRC: area because they're usually at work or at school or whatever, you know, they're not locals like
[411.2] AndyRC: not usually.
[412.64] AndyRC: So that's that's my biggest worry.
[415.68] AndyRC: But technically, I could go out and fly.
[417.04] AndyRC: It's just like, is it worth it?
[418.16] Curry: You know, I have really felt like
[421.36] Curry: standing in my garden and chucking a plane up because it's very there's nothing going on.
[425.6] Curry: But bear in mind, my guard is about 20 foot square and is surrounded by houses.
[429.12] Curry: I think the landing would be interesting.
[431.28] Curry: It's like a one time landing.
[435.84] AndyRC: It's not always guaranteed you get your guard neither, is it?
[438.72] AndyRC: So once it's in your neighbor's garden, that's it.
[441.52] AndyRC: You can't go around there.
[442.72] AndyRC: Contaminate.
[443.2] AndyRC: Oh, no, if we're not saying that word.
[445.04] AndyRC: Carry on.
[446.4] Frank: Get him to chuck it over the fence.
[447.6] Frank: Be fine.
[448.96] Curry: So our fence is down.
[450.0] Curry: As long as I hit one of the two gardens, that's mine.
[453.04] Curry: I'll be all right.
[454.88] Curry: Yeah.
[455.36] Curry: A fence is still down because no one's coming to fix that from from the storms we had
[460.08] Curry: when we were allowed to fly.
[461.84] Curry: And of course, that flipped around to gorgeous weather when we can't fly.
[465.36] Curry: And as soon as we get out of this, I'm sure the better weather will return.
[469.28] Tony: I see the Amazon boss geezers made 24 billion in the last three weeks.
[476.24] Tony: It's all right, isn't it?
[477.2] Tony: Someone's doing well.
[478.48] AndyRC: It does all right.
[479.2] AndyRC: Anyway, I hear term.
[480.56] AndyRC: I mean, yeah, apparently $7 million an hour.
[483.84] AndyRC: It's not bad to go in.
[485.2] AndyRC: Yeah, it's not too bad, is it?
[486.56] Tony: I mean, 24 billion in three weeks.
[489.2] Tony: What could you do with that?
[490.4] Tony: Oh, yeah.
[491.68] Tony: I don't know.
[493.92] Frank: I vaguely remember some statistics, something like he's made $10 for every year that the
[501.76] Frank: universe has been in existence or something stupid like that.
[505.44] Tony: What is that God's point of view or the big bang from the universe has been in existence
[516.5] Frank: according to the real world?
[518.34] Frank: Okay, it's frankly clear that up.
[523.22] AndyRC: Mr. Fruity Cake says $11,000 a second.
[526.66] AndyRC: That's not bad, is it?
[528.18] Jack: How much money could if he was to divide his money out equally to everyone on Earth,
[534.66] Jack: how much would they get?
[536.82] Jack: What is it?
[537.22] Jack: 11 billion people?
[538.02] Jack: We did.
[538.5] AndyRC: I think we said $16, didn't we?
[540.9] AndyRC: Or $16?
[542.18] Tony: We really got 152 people watching, and we got bots on here or something.
[548.26] Tony: Everyone literally bought out of their heads and thought, we're not going to watch this.
[553.06] Tony: I posted it.
[553.94] Tony: 173.
[555.94] Jack: That is not right, is it?
[560.1] Tony: We've never had 173 long views.
[562.58] Tony: We've got viral.
[564.74] Tony: We've got the $16, whatever way.
[568.58] AndyRC: Didn't we celebrate when it got to 100 once?
[576.5] Tony: Someone's got the bot scene.
[579.78] Tony: Something's gone wrong.
[582.66] Curry: When it was really windy and everybody started watching Big Jet TV,
[586.34] Curry: they've accidentally come over to this channel because of the breakthrough happening mistakenly.
[591.78] Curry: When it gets to 213.
[596.5] Tony: Yeah, you've got to get your boobs out if it gets to 200.
[600.42] AndyRC: We've got our own vote, ridiculous.
[602.58] AndyRC: Something's going on here.
[604.5] Jack: Someone's paid for viewers funding Daphne.
[608.1] Frank: Good evening, everyone who's joining us now, who isn't usually here on a Thursday evening.
[613.06] Frank: I'm on 142.
[616.02] Frank: Why don't you comment in the chat and let us know what you'd usually be doing between
[620.18] Frank: 8 and 9 on a Thursday evening.
[621.94] Curry: What you were expecting to see when you came here,
[624.98] Curry: and why you came here, because we're confused.
[628.1] Curry: We're not talking about anything.
[629.22] Tony: Thanks for joining us.
[630.66] Tony: Anyway, if it hits 300, Jack, you've got to literally light two of them and do the old
[636.02] Tony: farmer nickel thing.
[637.14] Curry: 260.
[638.18] Curry: If you're a bot, just shell out your favorite binary number and the real person that knows
[645.22] Curry: what's happening.
[646.66] AndyRC: Perhaps, Jack, it's a good idea to post that we're going to go live.
[655.22] Tony: Maybe there's something in that.
[656.82] Tony: You're going to hit 300, Jack, you've got to light two and do your nipple special.
[660.74] Tony: I think at this point, we should all start adding what we are and what we are.
[665.62] Jack: If it makes it three, I'm putting this in between my butt cheeks.
[670.18] Curry: I knew for what you'd take as a bot.
[678.82] Jack: There's nothing wrong with that.
[680.26] Jack: There can't be 300 people here.
[685.86] AndyRC: No, I don't want to be 9-3.
[687.86] AndyRC: Start being entertaining.
[689.06] AndyRC: No, 303 it says for me.
[691.14] Tony: It says 293.
[696.98] Curry: We didn't ask for it.
[698.34] Curry: You suggested, so come on, light up your butt cramp.
[702.74] Curry: I will cause injury.
[704.74] Frank: Currie, how's the simulator going?
[708.02] Curry: Slowly.
[709.22] Curry: Apart from playing with an intro, which I must have shown all you guys it about six
[713.46] Curry: million times now of a quad smashing through a wall, I haven't done anything.
[717.54] Curry: Although my pal that's doing some of the modeling for me did send me some bits in order to make
[723.7] Curry: up buildings so I can do some part built buildings where the side of the building can
[729.3] Curry: be open, you can go in and you can go through doors and stuff.
[732.9] Curry: That'd be cool. 350, it's actually increasing.
[737.38] Frank: Can you remind these 350 people where they can download an early copy of your free to
[743.14] Frank: download news simulator?
[746.1] Curry: Yes, you can.
[747.06] Curry: It's on GitHub, especially for you bots.
[750.26] Curry: Let's hope you follow links.
[752.02] Curry: I'm going to post it in there because it's like, you know, GitHub.com forward slash
[758.5] Tony: carry kitten forward.
[765.06] AndyRC: I think you should start talking about the stuff that you're talking before we went live now.
[769.14] AndyRC: That would really be entertaining.
[771.46] Frank: Just quickly, so this is a free simulator that works pretty much anything because it works on
[778.66] Frank: my crappy little 13 inch laptop that doesn't have a discrete GPU.
[783.54] Curry: Yes, the idea behind the sim is you don't have to have a gaming PC.
[787.7] Curry: It should run on quite low end systems and it runs on Windows 3264, Linux 3264 and Mac.
[798.34] Curry: If you've got any one of those computers in your house, you can run it and you can connect
[802.5] Curry: it to all the radios, all the joysticks.
[808.26] Curry: Just shove them in there and it'd be good.
[810.98] Tony: Can I line of sight fly on it?
[813.54] Curry: Yes, you can, Tony.
[815.78] Tony: I'm going to have to download it.
[816.98] Curry: I'm a simulator has reduced our viewership.
[824.58] Tony: What are we talking about to make it going?
[827.06] Curry: We're talking about Jack's bottom.
[828.98] Frank: I don't think you can chase goats in the sim zero,
[831.54] Frank: but there are some other things you can chase, right?
[835.78] Curry: You can chase cars that drive around and skid around and jump over things,
[840.9] Curry: and you can chase a plane that flies all over the place.
[843.54] Tony: Cool.
[844.66] Curry: It's just fun to do.
[845.54] Curry: Have you tried it?
[847.94] Curry: Frank, are you up to the current release?
[850.02] Frank: I'm not up to the current release.
[852.02] Tony: You've been a bit busy.
[853.22] Tony: You are excused.
[854.18] Tony: Yes, a bit busy.
[854.98] Tony: Bye, green patches.
[856.9] Tony: 60 hour days.
[858.34] Frank: Hmm.
[859.86] Tony: He's on his break.
[862.1] Frank: I should have had some more time soon,
[864.1] Frank: so I'm looking forward to flying and chasing the plane.
[869.94] Curry: Why are people leaving?
[871.46] Curry: Fair enough.
[871.94] Curry: Because we started talking about my simulator.
[873.78] Curry: Quick, start talking about something else.
[875.38] Tony: Like some fireworks, it seems.
[877.46] AndyRC: Tony, come out with some outrageous conspiracy theory.
[880.26] AndyRC: That'll keep them in.
[881.14] AndyRC: Yeah, Tony, what were you talking about,
[883.7] AndyRC: people on Instagram, before we went live?
[888.02] Jack: And the bots have realised this channel is really like
[891.54] Jack: and are running away.
[892.98] Jack: Yes, speak on with you, dirty bots.
[896.66] Jack: I don't care.
[897.22] Curry: We were riding a high there for a minute, weren't we?
[899.3] Curry: That was good.
[901.06] Jack: It can't be real, because no one watches this.
[905.62] Curry: Nothing's real.
[906.26] Curry: Just ask Tony.
[909.22] AndyRC: The number of lights shut up to like 25,
[911.46] AndyRC: so I don't know.
[912.02] AndyRC: Maybe it was bots, though.
[913.14] AndyRC: You never know, do you?
[914.1] Curry: Maybe it's that bot Tom, so Bruce keeps going on about.
[918.66] AndyRC: What's that about?
[919.62] AndyRC: Who's bot Tom?
[921.14] Curry: Oh, he just noticed he keeps getting these things
[923.62] Curry: like this bot called Tom, which keeps saying,
[926.74] Curry: great video, keep more coming.
[928.42] Curry: But the weird thing about Tom,
[930.18] Curry: Tom has no content on his channel,
[932.1] Curry: but he's got like 400,000 subscribers.
[935.38] Curry: And the idea was, could this be a stolen account,
[938.9] Curry: which they got rid of all the content
[942.02] Curry: and they're thinking about selling it on to somewhere?
[945.46] Tony: There must have been a phrase that one of us said
[948.02] Tony: to draw in 300 and whatever people it was.
[951.22] Tony: What was the top school?
[952.58] Tony: Did anyone see what it went up to?
[955.14] Tony: I saw over 300.
[956.98] Tony: There went about 360 analytics at the end, about 360.
[960.18] Curry: And he was finding a blowjob thing.
[962.1] Curry: Maybe that did it.
[963.54] Curry: One of the special bots could see that
[965.62] Curry: and it's like, we've got action here,
[967.38] Curry: or the Pornhub has jumped over.
[970.18] Jack: Yeah.
[971.64] Jack: I can't tell if that Lewis guy is a bot.
[975.56] Jack: Lol, I get them now and again.
[978.92] Tony: Well, Lewis, no, I think he's...
[982.2] AndyRC: No, it's not true.
[984.04] AndyRC: I get them all the time.
[985.4] AndyRC: They usually say something like,
[987.8] AndyRC: you know, great video, like and subscribe
[991.8] AndyRC: to my channel or something like that.
[993.48] AndyRC: And then you go and check and then there's no videos.
[995.24] AndyRC: And I had a similar sort of thing.
[998.36] AndyRC: I don't know what it is.
[1000.76] Tony: If you're real, Lewis...
[1005.48] Jack: Tell us what your mum's name is.
[1011.24] Frank: Name of your pet.
[1016.2] AndyRC: Your postcode, Frank.
[1018.92] AndyRC: The first three digits of your password,
[1021.96] AndyRC: followed by the last three and then...
[1027.96] AndyRC: Debbie.
[1029.16] Jack: He's given it to us.
[1033.08] Jack: Give Frank a photo of the view outside your window.
[1036.52] Jack: That's it.
[1037.08] Curry: I don't need any of these.
[1041.4] Curry: That's popped up time and again.
[1042.84] Curry: I was like, this is creepy.
[1045.72] AndyRC: Yeah.
[1047.72] AndyRC: It's even more creepy when Tony says it.
[1050.6] Jack: Drow racer, for a minute there,
[1052.44] Jack: we were riding big Clive numbers.
[1055.0] Jack: I mean, big Clive numbers when he first switches on.
[1059.08] AndyRC: Still at 156.
[1061.96] AndyRC: Some of the bots have stayed around.
[1063.8] AndyRC: They're just checking up on you.
[1065.32] Jack: And I was so glad when Tom left a comment
[1067.4] Jack: under my latest video.
[1069.0] Jack: What, Tom Smith?
[1071.88] Frank: No, the bot, Tom.
[1074.76] Frank: Keep up, pay attention.
[1076.2] Frank: Have you not been listening?
[1077.88] Frank: No, sorry.
[1079.16] Curry: He's watching something else on Twitch.
[1080.76] Curry: That's what's normally happening.
[1082.04] Frank: Yeah.
[1082.52] Jack: No, I'm not.
[1085.08] Jack: Don't let me use my honk button.
[1087.32] Frank: So who's got any plans for building anything?
[1092.84] Jack: I'm clearing my bench.
[1094.76] Jack: That's as exciting as it's got.
[1097.8] Tony: I got a picture sent to me of something happening
[1100.76] Tony: with your bench.
[1101.56] Tony: Jack, the other guy literally fell over.
[1105.64] Frank: I was very worried for your health, Jack.
[1109.16] Curry: What the...
[1110.84] Curry: Oh, he was speaking to me live from under his desk
[1113.96] Curry: on the basis that it fell on him.
[1116.04] Curry: I would still be on the line, and I could call the police.
[1119.4] Curry: Although that would only be like a 50-50.
[1122.2] Curry: I would do it, and I'd laugh a lot, I think.
[1124.52] Frank: I got a photo from Jack of the space where his desk
[1128.52] Frank: usually is being hovered.
[1133.88] Frank: Instantly forward that to Tony and be like,
[1135.88] Frank: Tony, you've got to get ready to go down there
[1139.48] Frank: because he's obviously not well.
[1142.44] AndyRC: How come I was the one that got the picture of his ass?
[1146.2] Tony: Well, you know, horses for courses, right?
[1150.52] Tony: You obviously got the bot.
[1154.92] Jack: Because I know you won't use it as a weapon against me.
[1157.8] Jack: Tony would probably use it to start an OnlyFans in my name.
[1163.16] Curry: And I have some sort of bottom-related photos from Jack.
[1166.2] Tony: I've got a lot of pictures of you, Jack.
[1173.32] AndyRC: He usually says evidence, not pictures.
[1176.04] AndyRC: Yeah, I know.
[1179.4] AndyRC: On the back of your back.
[1182.92] AndyRC: I've heard that you guys were talking about
[1185.64] AndyRC: some new t-shirt designs.
[1186.92] AndyRC: Are you going to talk about that today?
[1190.68] Jack: Frank, out of all of them, I can't show any of them
[1195.4] Jack: because I showed them to Andy RC, and he's like,
[1199.48] Jack: you can't show that.
[1202.2] AndyRC: I said I wouldn't show that.
[1204.44] AndyRC: I didn't.
[1205.8] Frank: On the Bankholo Monday, I did a little test demo
[1214.44] Frank: doing a stream of Jackbox games, which is like they're
[1221.56] Frank: a developer that do all sorts of kind of party
[1225.16] Frank: interactive games between one big screen
[1230.6] Frank: and then all your phones around.
[1232.28] Jack: This is my favorite.
[1233.96] Frank: Oh, dear.
[1234.6] AndyRC: I'm not sure we're allowed to show anything.
[1236.44] AndyRC: Is it the Jack one?
[1237.72] AndyRC: That's probably the only one you can show.
[1239.64] Jack: The Jack one.
[1241.8] Jack: Big Tony Boner.
[1243.8] AndyRC: No, don't show that one.
[1245.48] AndyRC: I can't show that one.
[1247.16] AndyRC: No, no.
[1247.88] Frank: Show the Jack one.
[1248.92] Frank: I reckon it's the Jack.
[1249.96] Frank: A lot worse.
[1250.76] Frank: Well, the problem is that, I mean, if you've listened
[1253.0] Frank: to the show at all, some of those 300 of you,
[1257.16] Frank: you'll know that Jack enjoys offending people.
[1261.96] Frank: And I had on playing this game with me, both Jack
[1265.96] Frank: and our editor, who's my brother.
[1268.92] Frank: And they ended up in a kind of game of chicken
[1272.36] Frank: of trying to out-offend each other.
[1274.92] Frank: And it went very dark very quickly.
[1280.84] AndyRC: That's what the t-shirts were.
[1283.8] AndyRC: The t-shirts were trying to offend each other.
[1287.0] Frank: Well, he may have only sent you the early ones, I imagine.
[1292.6] AndyRC: No, I've seen some towers.
[1298.6] Frank: Yeah, that kind of precipitated the whole event.
[1302.68] Frank: But yeah, it's not good.
[1305.32] Frank: So I'm not going to be doing that one live again.
[1309.64] Frank: But maybe come up with some other ideas.
[1313.56] AndyRC: What's this Zoom program everybody's using to communicate?
[1317.88] AndyRC: And it's like, it's got a problem or something like that.
[1320.92] AndyRC: I don't know much about it.
[1322.36] AndyRC: It's like a conferencing thing that people are using
[1324.84] AndyRC: to do stuff like this.
[1327.8] AndyRC: Oh, we've lost Jack completely.
[1329.48] AndyRC: What is it?
[1329.88] AndyRC: I've never heard of Zoom.
[1331.08] AndyRC: What is it?
[1331.56] Curry: Can we talk about Zoom?
[1334.68] Curry: Hangouts went away, but there were worries about the security.
[1337.96] Curry: Yeah, I think the security is still very good.
[1340.84] Frank: Yeah, it was because, well, just as Hangouts went dead
[1345.4] Frank: and we were having to come up with a new system to do all this,
[1349.56] Frank: we looked at Zoom and just at that point,
[1351.72] Frank: there was a big exploit on Mac with Zoom, I believe.
[1357.56] Frank: So we decided, we're not going to use Zoom.
[1359.96] Frank: That doesn't seem like a good idea.
[1361.8] Frank: And so we ended up using Jitsy
[1364.44] Frank: and now we're using StreamYard.
[1367.08] Frank: But StreamYard is pretty specific to people
[1369.64] Frank: that are doing streaming.
[1370.52] Frank: So I wouldn't recommend it for people
[1371.88] Frank: just generally doing conference calls
[1373.32] Frank: because it's more fast than it's worth.
[1377.24] Frank: Oh, that's what they're using it for, conference calls.
[1379.96] Frank: Yeah, but Jitsy is really good.
[1382.52] Frank: I would always pick Jitsy over Zoom personally,
[1387.08] Frank: but that's just me.
[1389.96] AndyRC: Security is compromised for the app.
[1392.92] AndyRC: Yeah, I think that's happening a lot, isn't it?
[1395.8] Jack: Even when it's not being compromised,
[1397.72] Jack: Boris Johnson decides to take a photo, tweet about it,
[1402.28] Jack: and then display everyone's user names
[1405.64] Jack: and the room address so that everyone
[1409.0] Jack: can just gate crash the cabinet meeting.
[1412.2] Frank: Did that really happen?
[1413.4] Frank: Did it not wear a password anyway?
[1415.4] Frank: Anyway, it doesn't matter.
[1417.16] Frank: We're getting dangerously close to current affairs.
[1419.96] AndyRC: See, I haven't watched any news for like a week,
[1423.64] AndyRC: so I didn't know that.
[1425.4] AndyRC: See, that's the way to live.
[1428.04] Curry: It can't turn the news on
[1429.4] Curry: because it's all the same news currently.
[1431.64] Curry: Just ignore it.
[1432.68] Curry: We're heading to the stand.
[1433.64] Frank: I think we're moving the topic away.
[1436.6] Curry: As the week-end reviewers.
[1439.88] Curry: So who is building something?
[1442.12] Frank: That was the question, wasn't it?
[1443.72] Frank: Not only is Jack being tied to his desk,
[1446.12] Frank: but I tidied my desk over the bank holiday weekend
[1448.68] Frank: doing some screen cleaning.
[1449.48] Jack: He's got an underneath desk.
[1451.56] Frank: I have an underneath the desk.
[1453.56] Frank: Notice how close I am to my microphone and my camera.
[1457.56] Frank: What happened?
[1458.76] Frank: I know, right?
[1459.48] Frank: Like a whole pool around.
[1461.08] Frank: Bank holiday weekend.
[1462.12] Frank: So I did some screen cleaning,
[1463.24] Frank: and I now have a desk again.
[1464.92] Frank: And not only do I have a desk,
[1466.28] Frank: I have a number of boxes
[1468.52] Frank: where I've actually sorted out the parts
[1470.36] Frank: for different products.
[1471.4] Frank: So when I have some time off work,
[1475.48] Frank: I will be actually building some things.
[1479.0] AndyRC: What are you going to be building now?
[1481.56] Frank: So up here, I have a power supply for my camera
[1487.16] Frank: so that when we eventually can go to places
[1489.72] Frank: like Milton Keynes' makerspace
[1492.68] Frank: or to an event, you know.
[1495.08] Tony: Just seems like a distant memory now going in.
[1498.04] AndyRC: That was January.
[1501.0] Frank: That was this year.
[1502.84] Frank: That was only a few months ago
[1504.36] Frank: that we were all together in MK makerspace.
[1507.8] Frank: But yeah, when we can next actually go back there
[1509.96] Frank: and see each other,
[1511.32] Frank: then I can set up my fancy camera
[1514.52] Frank: to do some streaming
[1515.8] Frank: and not have to worry about it.
[1517.16] Frank: Running it at battery,
[1518.6] Frank: five minutes into a stream, which would be nice.
[1521.8] Frank: I've also got a tiny little gimbal
[1526.68] Frank: that I've been working on
[1527.8] Frank: for I think probably literally years now
[1531.8] Frank: that's been kind of,
[1533.16] Frank: I've been doing five minutes of
[1534.76] Frank: every month in the other month.
[1537.24] Frank: Oh, my camera.
[1540.04] Frank: That's not the point.
[1541.64] Frank: A tiny little HS1177 type kind of little camera.
[1547.08] AndyRC: So when you say gimbal,
[1548.2] AndyRC: you don't mean like to smooth out footage.
[1550.6] AndyRC: You mean for head tracking.
[1552.44] Frank: Yeah, pan tilt kind of thing rather than...
[1555.24] Frank: Got it.
[1555.56] Frank: Yeah.
[1556.12] Tony: So we're going down to our normal levels of...
[1559.0] Tony: There we go.
[1559.56] Tony: Yeah, so we're back to normal.
[1561.4] Tony: How are we having it?
[1562.12] Tony: It sounds about...
[1563.16] AndyRC: 69 and normal levels about 10, isn't it?
[1567.08] Frank: It still ends in the 60s.
[1568.92] Frank: I've also got a box
[1571.16] Frank: of some thrust vectoring stuff
[1573.72] Frank: that I want to do.
[1575.48] Frank: Like a rocket.
[1578.69] Frank: Basically, yeah.
[1580.53] Frank: Cool.
[1581.01] Frank: That'd be cool.
[1582.69] Frank: Yeah, but I'm going to use it.
[1585.09] Frank: Well, yeah, when I get closer,
[1587.01] Frank: I'll talk a bit more about it,
[1588.85] Frank: but it might be a while.
[1591.17] Frank: But yeah, I will have some projects to do
[1594.85] Frank: when I have some time.
[1596.69] AndyRC: Jibba Jabba, he says that he's got a...
[1600.93] AndyRC: What's the name of that model?
[1602.29] AndyRC: Tyro 69.
[1603.89] AndyRC: I've got one of those,
[1604.69] AndyRC: but I never ended up building it.
[1606.21] AndyRC: Did you build that one, Wayne?
[1607.81] AndyRC: It's like, was it a little toothpick thing?
[1610.53] Curry: Yeah, it's here, actually.
[1611.81] Curry: I was helping somebody out.
[1613.57] Curry: One of my patrons wanted to know
[1615.65] Curry: because it's got a bit of a weird
[1616.93] Curry: sort of all-in-one VTX and camera
[1619.01] Curry: and he wasn't sure about the wiring.
[1620.85] Curry: But it was quite good, actually.
[1622.21] Curry: I swapped out the props
[1623.25] Curry: for these little Avan two-inch ones
[1625.89] Curry: and then it flew quite nicely, quite smoothly,
[1628.05] Curry: but the camera was a weak point.
[1629.73] Curry: So I've actually got a camera and VTX
[1631.81] Curry: to swap that out with,
[1632.69] Curry: which I haven't got round to.
[1635.17] Curry: I've got a whole bunch of projects.
[1636.61] Curry: I'm kind of split between
[1639.25] Curry: sorting out stuff I had going on,
[1642.45] Curry: the odd review piece,
[1643.81] Curry: like this and bits and pieces,
[1645.81] Curry: and like programming time
[1647.41] Curry: because I can't put in like one hour
[1649.97] Curry: here and there on the coding
[1651.97] Curry: because you're not being like,
[1653.65] Curry: what was I doing last time?
[1654.93] Curry: And then you've run out of time again.
[1657.17] Curry: I need to spend several days on that.
[1658.85] Curry: So it's like I'm sort of flitting around
[1660.61] Curry: sometimes between thing and whatever
[1664.05] Curry: and whatever and then other times
[1665.41] Curry: I'm like, oh yeah,
[1666.21] Curry: I'm going to get on and build some stuff.
[1667.81] Curry: So yeah, the last couple of days
[1669.57] Curry: I've been trying to create
[1670.29] Curry: some actual video content
[1672.69] Curry: and then I might go back to some programming
[1674.29] Curry: over the next couple of days
[1675.73] Curry: and then go back to other stuff again.
[1677.65] Curry: I'm just flitting around.
[1679.17] AndyRC: Every YouTuber's doing like a stay-at-home build
[1682.45] AndyRC: and I'm just like,
[1683.17] AndyRC: oh, I want to do something different than that
[1685.33] AndyRC: because I've done so many...
[1686.13] AndyRC: I've done a home build for a year, haven't we?
[1687.89] AndyRC: That's nothing different there.
[1689.33] AndyRC: I've done so many builds as well
[1691.09] AndyRC: and once you've got the formula down,
[1693.25] AndyRC: nothing changes, you know?
[1694.85] AndyRC: So I think, you know,
[1696.37] AndyRC: how many builds do you need to do?
[1698.05] AndyRC: I think the only thing that you could do
[1700.77] AndyRC: like benefit in people showing you your build
[1703.57] AndyRC: is like the maybe doing it for the cheapest
[1707.09] AndyRC: but the most decent components, maybe.
[1709.65] AndyRC: I thought, but then people are doing that anyway
[1712.37] AndyRC: because a lot of people will just throw money
[1714.93] AndyRC: at a quad, sometimes unnecessarily, I think.
[1720.05] AndyRC: So I think for about 150 quid
[1722.45] AndyRC: you can get a nice five-inch success model built
[1727.25] AndyRC: and rather than going something, you know,
[1731.01] AndyRC: but going for crazy money.
[1732.85] AndyRC: So I thought about it.
[1733.97] AndyRC: I've always got the components for that.
[1737.25] AndyRC: The problem is, it's all very well
[1738.85] AndyRC: for doing a stay-at-home build
[1740.45] AndyRC: but then you can only really hover it in the garden.
[1743.17] AndyRC: You can't do the tuning part and stuff
[1745.97] AndyRC: or you can but it's, you know,
[1749.01] AndyRC: it's risky to do so, yeah.
[1751.09] AndyRC: I don't know.
[1751.57] Jack: Your live drone FPV quiz, we could do.
[1756.61] Jack: That is a good idea.
[1758.13] AndyRC: Might look into that one.
[1760.13] AndyRC: Well, I'm not sure it's a good idea if it was
[1762.37] AndyRC: because we came last the last time.
[1765.25] Frank: And even the quiz had questions about LDO.
[1769.17] Frank: We failed that quiz.
[1770.77] Frank: And we came last, that's how.
[1774.05] Jack: If you call LDO.
[1775.49] Jack: I have, I don't know whether I've mentioned this
[1777.97] Jack: but I have the parts to make a,
[1782.21] Jack: is it called an electronic suite?
[1785.33] Jack: It's the Chinese DIY make your own clock.
[1792.21] Tony: God, you're not making another clock.
[1795.01] Jack: Yeah, I thought so.
[1796.53] Tony: Well, the last time you did that, it failed.
[1798.69] Tony: It didn't ever tell the time.
[1801.09] Jack: Well, no, I just put the chip in backwards.
[1806.05] AndyRC: Mr. Shady, has anyone tried the Diatome Mamba F405
[1809.97] AndyRC: 30 millimeter stack?
[1812.13] AndyRC: Yes, I did a build video on it.
[1813.73] AndyRC: It's called the hundred pound GBP as in pound sterling
[1818.37] AndyRC: hundred pound freestyle drone.
[1823.25] AndyRC: And it got that stack in it.
[1824.85] AndyRC: Cause it's just, I think it's about 35 quid
[1827.09] AndyRC: for ESC and F4 flight control.
[1829.49] AndyRC: I think it's like the cheapest, one of the cheapest stacks.
[1832.93] AndyRC: And it's now got, I believe it's in a V2.
[1836.77] AndyRC: And I think it's got a built-in regulator for the VTX
[1840.13] AndyRC: which the first one didn't.
[1841.57] AndyRC: So yeah, it's a good one that I think the Mamba stack.
[1846.85] AndyRC: I've ran into issues with it.
[1849.33] AndyRC: He says.
[1850.77] AndyRC: Yeah, I got two of them and did a build, right?
[1859.32] AndyRC: And it's still, it's one of my main rigs, actually
[1861.96] AndyRC: the hundred pound build.
[1864.12] AndyRC: But I wanted to do a budget success version
[1869.48] AndyRC: because no one's really done.
[1871.0] AndyRC: It's quite difficult to do budget success,
[1873.0] AndyRC: but you can sort of do it.
[1875.16] AndyRC: So that was, that was sort of one of my plans.
[1878.92] AndyRC: So maybe I'll do that.
[1880.6] AndyRC: Perhaps.
[1883.8] Frank: One thing I'd like to get some thoughts on.
[1888.6] Frank: Now that it looks like I might have a bit more time
[1892.04] Frank: to do some organizing, I'm wondering whether we should,
[1897.16] Frank: or whether anyone's got any ideas for how kind of
[1901.0] Frank: on a mini air show virtually.
[1907.86] Tony: We could all get pissed.
[1909.62] Tony: Like a campfire.
[1913.3] Tony: Get like fireworks on the drones and fly them around the room.
[1918.74] AndyRC: There's my ideas.
[1920.18] AndyRC: Buy a lot of that weed and sense stuff to get the atmosphere.
[1927.78] Frank: Curry, how much work is it to get the multiplayer going?
[1933.22] AndyRC: About three years worth.
[1935.46] Curry: It was going to be my next thing after I finished with the intro
[1940.34] Curry: and put it into beta.
[1941.54] Curry: But to get it in beta, I've probably already,
[1943.14] Curry: I wanted to do the switches as well.
[1945.38] Curry: And then I thought about redoing the race courses into something.
[1948.34] Curry: So he's kind of a meeting with himself.
[1952.58] Jack: Yeah, and then sprint reviews as well.
[1956.26] Curry: There was, there was also the likely thinking about putting it on steam
[1960.5] Curry: after I did that bit as well, which would take an extra bit of hassle.
[1963.38] Frank: There's a lot of feature creep going on here.
[1965.22] Frank: That's all I know.
[1966.5] Curry: It's always been there.
[1967.46] Curry: It's been in the issues thing.
[1969.7] Curry: The issues like number one was like, make multiplayer,
[1973.3] Curry: make quadball at all.
[1975.22] Curry: And that's quite a big feature, to be fair.
[1977.46] Curry: There's quite a lot to that.
[1980.42] Curry: Yeah, that would be cool to do, though.
[1981.86] Curry: That's kind of the next thing I wanted to do
[1983.86] Curry: because I thought it'd be laugh chasing around real people
[1987.54] Curry: and going for brilliant journeys.
[1990.34] Curry: And Andy can show us again how to do the inverted dual spin.
[1993.38] Curry: It still makes me smile when I think back to that.
[1996.02] Curry: I think that's the clip of it somewhere.
[1997.22] Jack: Is there a clip of that somewhere?
[1999.78] Jack: I'm sure I clipped it.
[2001.46] AndyRC: Yeah, you clipped it and then copied Mr. Steel in and all of Rocha Riot.
[2010.18] Curry: You can laugh about it now, though.
[2012.58] Jack: Yeah.
[2015.62] Jack: He drops himself and listens to Lincoln Park.
[2019.86] Jack: Whilst claiming it's not new mail.
[2022.26] AndyRC: It's funny because it's true.
[2026.26] Jack: I phoned you off and tried to cheer you up today.
[2030.34] AndyRC: Yeah, as you do every day.
[2032.58] AndyRC: But I just pick up once a week.
[2035.94] AndyRC: I'm just kidding.
[2037.22] AndyRC: I pick up when I'm at my phone.
[2039.86] AndyRC: Actually, I called you, didn't I?
[2042.26] Jack: Call me back.
[2043.06] Jack: But I called you first.
[2044.18] AndyRC: Oh, I feel like I'm not going to say that.
[2051.22] AndyRC: No, say it on your high horse.
[2054.82] AndyRC: It feels all too familiar, these kind of arguments, Jack.
[2061.78] Frank: No, you hang up.
[2063.46] Frank: This episode was recorded in front of a live online audience,
[2066.66] Frank: downloaded and edited to make sense when it played audio only,
[2070.18] Frank: censored to please the iTunes people, hosted on the internet,
[2073.06] Frank: forwarded through to your podcast provider,
[2074.9] Frank: downloaded, playing on your device and is now playing in your ears.
[2078.66] Frank: All thanks to our Patreons.
[2080.74] Frank: Consider joining them and you'll also get other online benefits.
[2084.18] Frank: Find out more at patreon.com forward slash let's drone out.
[2088.5] Frank: Tony, that's the only one who's ever seriously done any racing.
[2091.78] Frank: Have you done any online virtual simulator racing?
[2097.54] Jack: That means knowing how to use a computer.
[2099.3] Tony: We we tried to get him on anyway.
[2103.38] Curry: Did we buy him Velocidrone?
[2105.22] Curry: Jack, you put in Velocidrone, didn't you?
[2107.86] Curry: But then he didn't, he couldn't install it.
[2110.1] Curry: It could figure out.
[2112.82] Jack: Yeah, something like that.
[2113.86] Jack: I just picked up my keyboard and I'm absolutely horrified
[2116.74] Jack: at the amount of stuff that's come out of it.
[2118.34] Jack: The bogeys and things like that.
[2120.58] Curry: The keyboard where you managed to replace the keys
[2122.42] Curry: with the wrong keys and that explains your awesome typing.
[2126.34] Tony: No.
[2126.98] Tony: Oh, that's a well good way else.
[2129.7] Tony: Spelling mistakes, isn't it?
[2132.5] Tony: Well, oh my God, it's gone up again.
[2134.42] Tony: Three forty seven.
[2135.94] Tony: What's happened?
[2137.14] Tony: That's weird.
[2138.34] Tony: Not true.
[2138.9] Tony: It's not.
[2139.38] Tony: It's something we say or something and then it goes.
[2142.66] Tony: Ah, what happened?
[2143.62] Tony: I think it's just making me excited.
[2147.3] Jack: Speaking of which, I've lost the key.
[2148.9] Jack: I've lost.
[2149.38] Jack: What goes next to Q?
[2151.54] Jack: W.
[2154.58] Curry: Qwerty.
[2155.14] Jack: How much do you use that?
[2156.1] Jack: Well, I use it quite a lot for writing my name down.
[2164.82] Curry: Searching things to wank to.
[2166.58] Curry: That's not quite useful.
[2175.3] AndyRC: I don't think anyone would have searched for that.
[2178.9] Curry: I think it's pretty obvious.
[2180.98] Curry: It's not obvious to me.
[2182.18] Curry: Maybe trends have changed, Andy.
[2184.58] Curry: What are the erotic trendings at the moment?
[2191.62] Curry: I don't want to be embarrassed cracking one out to the wrong thing.
[2194.58] AndyRC: What if someone found out?
[2196.82] AndyRC: To be fair, I have to be embarrassed.
[2198.34] AndyRC: I don't know.
[2198.82] AndyRC: I'd have to type in what you just said to find out.
[2201.22] Tony: You've literally got nothing to like, Jack.
[2203.14] Tony: We're over 400 live viewers.
[2205.22] Tony: Right, nothing.
[2207.7] Tony: Set your f*** hair on fire for f***'s sake.
[2210.98] Curry: We'll have to do something for your mini airshow,
[2216.02] Curry: even if we have to do like Velocidrone online or something,
[2219.46] Curry: because that was quite fun when we did it, wasn't it?
[2221.14] Curry: And we could invite people in to mess around with us.
[2224.5] Jack: Is there any way to have planes and quads in a simulator?
[2230.58] Curry: Yes, but let me get to it for Christ's sake.
[2234.18] Tony: Yes.
[2234.9] Tony: Come on, we've got another three weeks lockdown.
[2237.54] Tony: Get on with it.
[2238.74] Curry: I always think I've got less time than normal,
[2242.9] Curry: because my wife is here who is like,
[2245.38] Curry: what are you doing right now as I'm doing this work?
[2248.26] Curry: Your work now is the house.
[2250.82] Tony: That's what I care.
[2253.78] Curry: She cracks her knuckles.
[2255.38] Jack: And then when he drives over, she hits him because she's done with him.
[2261.46] Curry: During a conference call, bad move.
[2263.46] Frank: So if anyone's a coder and bored at home,
[2266.26] Frank: they can go on to GitHub and see the source code, right?
[2268.66] Frank: And maybe like suggest some things.
[2270.82] Frank: No, is that not a thing?
[2272.02] Curry: No, it's close.
[2274.98] Curry: Mine, no one's touching it.
[2276.98] Curry: I'm just abusing GitHub to distribute the binaries
[2280.18] Curry: and use it in issue tracking.
[2282.66] Curry: So there.
[2283.62] AndyRC: Isn't that against that GPO thing or whatever?
[2286.9] Curry: It's not under GPO license.
[2291.3] Jack: Just complete control freak.
[2293.62] Jack: I wish, I'm going to order some Kit Kats so I can eat them whole,
[2304.9] Jack: even though they're going to make you ill.
[2309.3] Tony: Well, you're not going to end up on the toilet again, are you?
[2312.02] Jack: Well, I haven't left.
[2313.06] Jack: I've been on antibiotics for a week.
[2318.18] Frank: So moving on from Jack's bowel movements,
[2320.5] Frank: Richard Warwick asked about the E.R.S.R. eggs.
[2323.86] Frank: Oh, that will produce some viewers.
[2326.74] Tony: Are you sure?
[2328.66] Tony: Then we're dropping the flies.
[2332.98] Tony: Someone's still working on that, are they?
[2335.62] Frank: Basically, no, that is the news.
[2343.38] Curry: I could not be more livid about paying at £9.50 on that very last day.
[2347.54] Curry: Firstly, they come back in the next week and say, don't worry,
[2349.78] Curry: we're delaying it for a while.
[2351.14] Curry: And now look what happens.
[2352.34] Curry: Nothing is flying ever.
[2354.34] Frank: And I want my money back.
[2359.54] Frank: So all the new rules that were coming in in July,
[2362.18] Frank: so anything that's under £250 that has a camera on it,
[2366.18] Frank: is going to need registering.
[2371.22] Frank: Any new quads or any new anything that is put onto the market.
[2377.86] Frank: As a kit or as a almost ready to fly, or as a ready to fly,
[2381.94] Frank: or as a fully built thing.
[2386.26] Frank: All the classifications that those would have to meet
[2388.66] Frank: and all that kind of thing.
[2390.9] Frank: There's the kind of lighter categories that can be closer to people
[2396.34] Frank: and all this kind of stuff.
[2397.22] Frank: All that kind of thing that was all going to happen in July.
[2400.34] Frank: That has been delayed by some time.
[2407.86] Frank: At least months, nobody knows.
[2411.54] Frank: They'll figure that one out when they get there.
[2413.86] Frank: But for now, everything stays as it is.
[2421.38] Frank: Carry on as it currently is.
[2424.34] Tony: Yeah, poor Lewis Stevenson's drone is in a lake with his GoPro.
[2432.34] Curry: Do you have any friends with scuba gear that can go get it for you?
[2436.34] Frank: Or one of those little ROVs.
[2438.18] Frank: I think fishing or something.
[2441.22] Curry: I'd love to mess with one of those little ROVs.
[2444.18] Curry: Somebody was playing with it whilst I was on my last tropical holiday.
[2448.02] Curry: I couldn't really work it out because the water temperature was like 30 degrees C
[2451.7] Curry: and they were driving a little ROV about instead of just snorkeling.
[2454.58] Curry: But they look enormous amounts of fun.
[2457.46] Curry: I would just love it.
[2458.66] Jack: I do like them as well, man.
[2460.98] Jack: Like Thunderbird 4, man.
[2464.18] Jack: I'm well up for that.
[2466.42] Frank: Just as a point, just as I've thought about it,
[2469.7] Frank: to clarify, registration for stuff above 250 grams,
[2475.22] Frank: to fly stuff above 250 grams, that is still a thing.
[2480.18] Frank: Because that was written into the rules in 2017.
[2485.86] Frank: And that came in, so it was written into the ANO in 2017,
[2491.54] Frank: actually came into effect in 2018.
[2495.54] Frank: Either way, years ago, it was written into law.
[2499.3] Frank: It came into effect in November.
[2502.5] Frank: There's exemptions for, if you're part of the associations,
[2506.42] Frank: but read the rules from your associations, otherwise register.
[2512.18] Frank: That's still a thing, when we can eventually leave the house.
[2515.86] Frank: But I just don't want to get told off spreading lies.
[2522.26] Frank: Spreading the virus.
[2523.46] Frank: If you're not doing builds, what have you got lined up for your channel?
[2527.46] AndyRC: Well, I figured that there's a lot of, I've got a lot of footage of quad cops and drones.
[2535.78] AndyRC: And I thought, I wonder if I can maybe repurpose some of that.
[2540.1] AndyRC: A lot of people, usually I'll post a video,
[2542.9] AndyRC: and someone will just go this or something, or another product like that.
[2547.86] AndyRC: That will not like, hi, I'm such and such or whatever.
[2552.1] AndyRC: It's this product or this product.
[2554.42] AndyRC: And I'm like, so I could run back through.
[2558.98] AndyRC: The Cine whoops last year were very popular,
[2562.34] AndyRC: and toothpicks were very popular last year.
[2564.66] AndyRC: And so I thought, well, kind of like,
[2568.5] AndyRC: which is the best value for money?
[2573.86] AndyRC: I think freestyle exploded last year as well over racing.
[2579.06] AndyRC: A lot of freestyle, people were doing more freestyle builds than race cop to build.
[2584.5] AndyRC: So I thought, maybe doing some content on that.
[2588.9] AndyRC: But on the other hand, I have got new products.
[2592.82] AndyRC: As you know, the DJI Menace Antetapac.
[2602.18] Tony: So Greg, our friend.
[2604.74] Tony: You might have to get Greg Gell naturally.
[2606.42] Tony: He's got something else up his sleeve that might be interesting for people.
[2610.74] Tony: And it's good at this sort of time, because it's very small.
[2617.94] AndyRC: Small is good.
[2619.38] Tony: Yeah, it is very small.
[2621.14] Tony: And it looks very good.
[2623.7] Tony: Maybe I should give him a text after the show.
[2626.26] Jack: So tempted to make a Tony penis joke,
[2628.98] Jack: but I don't want to upset Tony because he's doing the AMA.
[2634.34] Jack: Yes.
[2634.98] Jack: So if you do the AMA, I will be nice to you, Tony.
[2640.02] AndyRC: Yeah, okay.
[2641.46] AndyRC: But on the other hand, I've got loads of products that came in
[2646.74] AndyRC: before certain restrictions were put in place.
[2650.74] AndyRC: And technically, I can go and fly them.
[2652.5] AndyRC: It's just whether I run into any issues, you know, whether I can do.
[2658.5] AndyRC: But I can still fly.
[2659.62] AndyRC: I can still make videos.
[2663.38] AndyRC: I'm lucky that my spotter lives in this house and has an ACET as well.
[2670.66] AndyRC: So, you know, that's always good to have.
[2672.98] AndyRC: Secondly.
[2674.26] AndyRC: But one of the biggest disappointments is I joined a club this year,
[2678.98] AndyRC: which I'd have to drive to to go and fly at.
[2681.94] AndyRC: And we can't fly there.
[2684.34] AndyRC: Basically, it's on a farm and we can't do that.
[2688.82] AndyRC: So that was disappointing.
[2690.02] Tony: Oh, it's got a shutdown as well.
[2692.1] Tony: Yeah, because it's a little get together and said, look, we're going to shut it.
[2697.14] Tony: So I don't know.
[2698.26] Tony: Thanks, Charlie.
[2698.74] AndyRC: Yeah.
[2699.46] AndyRC: So, you know, I'm looking forward to being able to go back there because it is just miles and miles
[2705.78] AndyRC: of nothing, which I've never, never flown or had the opportunity to have before.
[2711.7] AndyRC: So, yeah, I want to do some plain stuff, get into, you know, iron oven stuff.
[2718.5] AndyRC: It's a good time to go and watch Lee's videos.
[2720.98] AndyRC: And what was the chat we had on last week?
[2724.26] AndyRC: Pavel is his name.
[2725.46] AndyRC: Is that how you say it?
[2726.58] AndyRC: Jack kept saying it wrong and he didn't know it was.
[2728.26] Jack: Yeah.
[2728.5] Jack: Pavel is not Pavel.
[2732.82] Curry: Pavel Baskovsky.
[2735.7] Curry: Can we just call him meerkat number six and have done with it?
[2741.38] AndyRC: And you read the disclaimer for me.
[2745.22] Curry: The fact he lives in Poland and hasn't seen the meerkat adverts is just,
[2749.38] Curry: we should show him an advert.
[2750.42] Curry: And so this is how we think of you.
[2753.06] Curry: A lovely company meerkat.
[2755.06] AndyRC: Meerkat's a Russian.
[2757.22] Curry: Yeah, I know, but it doesn't mean the same thing.
[2761.86] AndyRC: So, what's Poland got anything to do with it?
[2765.94] Curry: They don't show the commercials there.
[2768.02] Curry: That's why he's not heard of meerkat.
[2769.78] Curry: It's not like you go out and see a wild meerkat and it starts speaking in a Russian accent to you.
[2774.18] Frank: I think they're pretty much an exclusively UK thing.
[2778.5] Frank: Apart from there is a version of them in France,
[2782.5] Frank: but they're animated differently and don't have silly accents.
[2789.62] Frank: What? Really?
[2790.9] Frank: Yeah, the French meerkats,
[2794.74] Frank: they've completely missed the point of why the meerkats are entertaining in any way.
[2800.1] Frank: Maybe they just don't have the same level of casual racism in France.
[2802.98] Frank: I don't know.
[2806.02] AndyRC: Everybody's hitting the disclaimer buttons tonight, except me.
[2810.5] AndyRC: Frank, you know everything.
[2811.62] AndyRC: Have you ever thought about going on like The Chase or something like that?
[2815.22] AndyRC: I think you'd be great.
[2816.02] AndyRC: What's The Chase?
[2818.5] Jack: Knows everything.
[2819.62] Jack: What's The Chase?
[2824.34] Jack: Frank, you know everything.
[2826.98] Jack: What about this?
[2829.86] AndyRC: The reason why Frank doesn't know what The Chase is,
[2831.94] AndyRC: is because he's the only one out of all of us that doesn't have,
[2835.62] AndyRC: he's not at home watching it every single day because
[2838.74] AndyRC: it's a daytime television quiz on TV.
[2842.26] Tony: I don't have a TV license, so no TV for me.
[2847.38] Jack: It would be good on Pointless.
[2850.26] Jack: No, I think you'd get confused.
[2852.18] Jack: You'd be like...
[2853.3] Jack: What about Countdown?
[2854.5] AndyRC: You're no Countdown, surely.
[2856.34] Jack: No, man.
[2857.14] Jack: No one can concentrate on Countdown since What's Her Name is on there.
[2863.54] Frank: Yeah, I agree.
[2864.18] Jack: I've heard that took over from Carol Bauderman.
[2866.74] Jack: Carol Bauderman.
[2868.1] Jack: No, the new one.
[2870.98] AndyRC: Rachel Riley.
[2872.58] Jack: Rachel Riley.
[2873.94] AndyRC: She just had her baby though, so she's dead to me.
[2879.3] AndyRC: Wow.
[2879.78] Tony: That's what it has to happen.
[2882.18] AndyRC: Too much baggage now.
[2888.26] Frank: Anyway, there was another question I saw someone ask.
[2892.5] Frank: Jabba asked me, what's the guidance for flying if you can walk to your field?
[2899.7] Frank: Personally, I would say don't put yourself in a position where you might hospitalise yourself
[2905.94] Frank: because that would suck.
[2910.66] Jack: And police don't like it when you have fun.
[2913.38] Frank: There is a bit of that.
[2914.5] Frank: But if you're in the middle of nowhere and doing something small on foam,
[2920.02] Frank: then I guess the risk is failing negligible.
[2923.3] Frank: But they just don't hospitalise yourself.
[2927.14] AndyRC: The thing is, you could hospitalise yourself in the house.
[2929.78] AndyRC: I think you have to get to a certain point of, you know,
[2933.14] AndyRC: you could cut your finger badly on a chopping board at home, you know, whilst, you know.
[2939.06] AndyRC: Yeah, but you need to eat.
[2940.34] AndyRC: So, you know, chopping food is important.
[2942.82] AndyRC: Yeah, but what if you need to fly because otherwise you're
[2945.14] AndyRC: going to stab everyone else in your family.
[2947.06] Jack: That's a quite a risk to, you know, whoa, you know, I might be able to be held against you.
[2956.34] AndyRC: Well, I'm not going to stab anyone yet much.
[2962.18] AndyRC: Just a little prick.
[2966.26] Curry: He needs help.
[2968.34] Curry: Don't tell me the disclaimer is not for you.
[2972.66] AndyRC: I'm just trying to lay down low today.
[2975.54] Tony: Crawling in my skin.
[2979.22] Tony: Jibber jabbers thing.
[2982.9] AndyRC: I was just going to say that this is the thing.
[2985.14] AndyRC: Yeah, people spending time together.
[2988.98] AndyRC: Jibber jabber.
[2989.7] AndyRC: My wife's already threatened to hospitalise me half a dozen times.
[2997.54] Jack: Right.
[2997.94] Jack: Should we call it there?
[3001.46] Tony: Yeah.
[3001.86] Tony: I'm upset that we didn't get to a thousand.
[3005.78] Tony: Maybe next week when the bots return.
[3008.58] Frank: Well, I mean, you can get naked if you want, Tony.
[3012.18] Frank: No, no one's there to stop you.
[3015.14] Jack: Okay.
[3016.34] Jack: I will try.
[3017.86] Jack: I need everyone.
[3018.9] Jack: This is a call to action.
[3020.66] Jack: Everyone go harass David Windestal and tell him to come on the show.
[3025.86] Tony: I want to buy him his ring.
[3027.38] Tony: So if he comes on the show, I might buy it.
[3029.22] Tony: You know what?
[3030.5] Jack: Do you know how much they cost?
[3033.06] Jack: $800.
[3034.42] Jack: Yeah, they cut the ground.
[3035.94] AndyRC: Is that what he's doing now full-time, making rings?
[3039.54] AndyRC: I want one of them.
[3041.22] Tony: Tony wants David's ring.
[3043.22] Tony: I want two, but...
[3044.66] Tony: He wants two.
[3047.67] Frank: So another thing I just want to take the opportunity to say.
[3051.83] Frank: There's been a lot of thing about doing sky lanterns.
[3057.51] Frank: Don't do that.
[3058.71] Frank: No, don't add it.
[3059.59] Frank: They're really stupid.
[3061.27] Frank: What it is, is you take some fire and you release it to the wilderness.
[3065.51] Frank: Like, don't do that.
[3066.55] Frank: No, it's so stupid.
[3067.19] Frank: It sets fire to things and says, no, now's not the time to just be releasing fire into the world.
[3074.87] Frank: Biggest...
[3075.35] Frank: Not a good idea.
[3076.39] AndyRC: Biggest killer of owls.
[3078.71] Curry: It's like a freak-like model, but the model's already on fire.
[3081.91] Frank: Yeah, just don't.
[3088.47] Jack: Keep the combustion inside the engine, people.
[3091.59] Jack: You know what I mean?
[3094.07] Jack: Thank you, guys.
[3095.11] Jack: You've been listening to Let's Drone Out.
[3096.63] Jack: And on that note, I think we're done for this evening.
[3099.91] Jack: You've been joined by Curry Kitten.
[3102.55] Jack: Goodbye.
[3103.67] Jack: Andy R.C.
[3106.79] Jack: My little Tony.
[3108.15] Jack: Bonjour.
[3109.43] Jack: He's my wife.
[3110.95] Jack: Andrew slash Frank.
[3112.47] Jack: Night.
[3113.67] Jack: I know you've been bright until I fly.
[3115.35] Jack: Thank you very much.
[3116.15] Jack: Good night.
[3120.93] Tony: Andy, stuff your hand up, Lee.
[3123.57] Tony: Never end.
