[460.94] AndyRC: I pick up I can pick up crossfire S bus spectrum even and I'm like PPM PWM can't tell the difference.

[470.94] AndyRC: But these racer guys can can't they with the they say I mean did you watch Thomas.
[474.94] AndyRC: I just watched Thomas's video actually.

[478.94] Curry: I watched him going around flying perfectly saying oh this isn't really my radio I'm not
[482.94] Curry: very good at it yet doing all the bits through the trees.
[487.94] iPeel: Do you think they really can tell the difference.
[490.94] iPeel: Or is it just I mean gamers are the same aren't they gamers are like oh I need like a you
[495.94] iPeel: know 960 FPS monitor because I can absolutely sense it.
[499.94] iPeel: But can they really.
[501.94] Curry: I could tell the difference between crossfire and S bus because I happen to put it on a
[505.94] Curry: quad and I literally had my free sky receiver flew a couple of batteries and I could just
[511.94] Curry: flick it over to crossfire and flew it again and it felt completely different.
[515.94] Curry: It did feel much more I was going to say instant.
[518.94] Curry: And then when I went back to S bus it felt really weird.
[521.94] Curry: All the timings were out.
[522.94] Curry: So even a non racer like me an old person that's not got many reactions can feel it.
[528.94] Curry: But feeling like I forgot the name of the new product now that against crossfire.
[535.94] Curry: That's probably more of a.
[537.94] Curry: It's what you mean.
[538.94] Curry: It's incremental.
[539.94] Curry: Crossfire.
[540.94] Curry: Well whatever it was.
[541.94] Curry: What's the new what's the new TBS thing.

[551.94] Curry: But are you going to feel some between that level of.
[556.94] AndyRC: According to Thomas that is that's going to feed through to crossfire anyways eventually
[564.94] AndyRC: what they're doing with this tracer system as in latency and that.
[569.94] AndyRC: So really it's going to be.
[571.94] AndyRC: I suppose it's it's all to do with this when you're racing and like Andy was mentioning
[576.94] AndyRC: about the telemetry issue that they have when they all get crossfire together.

[582.94] Frank: They turn the telemetry off for that to be able to handle that.
[587.94] Frank: So this you know we'll see how the different protocols or engines or whatever they are

[671.58] iPeel: So we stopped doing drones and we got into airsoft because there's actually less legislation
[677.06] iPeel: and it's easier easier to navigate the regulations than it was than it ever was with drones guns

[687.58] Tony: And those ones and everything that look real feel real work real anyway that we got any
[695.94] Jack: scary stories from me earlier that was that was pretty scary scary story and I told him

[714.22] Jack: I need to call me I need to call me actually because I've become much very disappointed
[719.34] AndyRC: become much better since the last time we spoke so that's you know we need to need to
[724.1] AndyRC: hang out but we can't because of this tier business everybody we're all going into tier
[729.9] Tony: three you know after today we're all going to look down one link is France that's a horror
[734.9] Jack: story that's a horror story and it is do we move on yes horror story horror story well
[743.22] Curry: I invited this guest IPL here also known as my arch nemesis because he had a horror story
[748.46] Curry: that I particularly remembered he was doing some training runs because back in the day
[753.66] Curry: before we cared so much about regulations we may or may well he may or may not been
[758.14] Curry: doing a bit of training runs for sort of a a certain 13 kilometer going out to it what
[763.62] Curry: was it called see sea sea land that was the idea was it was it the offshore well no wind
[770.7] iPeel: thing Callie we were going to do David's Callie we we had all manner of things in the planning
[779.38] iPeel: I mean we we I mean just before we gave it up we had a contract with Bach gas to buy
[789.74] iPeel: to buy hydrogen so that we could lift an unpowered glider up to space and fly it back so yeah
[798.62] iPeel: we we we were testing we're testing avionics and I don't know where to start really probably
[804.58] iPeel: probably with Rob because it's all Rob's fault really isn't it so anyone remembers flying wings
[812.58] iPeel: and Rob I was kind of his crash test dummy I guess so you know Robert Robert designed these planes
[823.06] iPeel: you know for like a 3s you know 2200 and and he'd give me like these airframes and say oh can you
[830.82] iPeel: just validate this for me and of course I'd put a dual 100 amp success powertrain on it and you
[839.5] iPeel: know and fly it around and give it back and say yeah yeah it's a bit hairy and the CG is not where
[844.78] iPeel: you think but you know that's fine it's a good laugh and then he'd usually roll his eyes but
[851.22] iPeel: one day he just kind of came to me with this thing and it was I don't know whether it's the the
[858.42] iPeel: bastard child of it I think a venturi some I don't know then they're not they're not falcon
[867.74] iPeel: wings are they but some powers like the best part of three meters wide and that's that's a 12 inch
[878.06] iPeel: prop on the back of it so he kind of gives me this and just goes well you know you're basically the
[883.46] iPeel: only they could really kind of touch the sides of this thing just see what you can do with it so
[888.7] iPeel: I kind of kitted it out with like you know 433 and 1.3 gigs and and you know in the day this this
[899.34] iPeel: is kind of this is this is travelling light when when you're doing long range and I think full
[906.46] iPeel: disclosure here a lot of wrong things were done but we kind of went up to probably just south of
[913.22] iPeel: Edford somewhere I think this was and we made end it and we got about 37 kilometers out of it on
[921.18] iPeel: this maiden flight out and then brought it back and it just didn't even touch the sides of the
[926.22] iPeel: battery so you know very very positive thought yeah you know there's a lot to a lot to get out of
[933.02] iPeel: this so took it back home rebuilt it as you do kitted it out with a nice T motor put a again I
[945.5] iPeel: think that's a 12 by 7 carbon prop on the back of it rekitted out all the avionics all the batteries
[953.66] iPeel: you know all the antennas and stuff and prepped it for another long-range test and there it was in
[963.42] iPeel: the back of my car with all the kit I'm at work and I just thought I know it's there I know it's
[969.1] iPeel: in the back of the car so stupidly I thought I just go to the flying site on my own and I just
[974.26] iPeel: skived off work and I drove to the site and I got set up again and yeah so that's the that's all the
[984.9] iPeel: work on me I do actually yeah oh yeah they know me so I got set up and obviously I mean when you do
[998.42] iPeel: long-range you know you don't exactly do it your local BMFA club so this is like you know slap bang
[1004.02] iPeel: in the middle of nowhere and I get set up and obviously you know you've got all your onboard
[1013.86] iPeel: systems all your you know your hi-def camera on board you've got the video link coming down you
[1019.7] iPeel: got your DVR and you've got all your kind of you know I think we had our DVRs set up so that it
[1027.38] iPeel: always recorded the the audio from the ground station rather than rather than the plane
[1032.42] iPeel: obviously because just nothing's coming down so I've got everything set up and all kind of
[1041.65] iPeel: calibrated all my fail safes and stuff and powered up went to lob it and obviously this is a rear
[1054.21] iPeel: engine plane and as I kind of pushed forward on it the plane just completely tipped back
[1064.45] iPeel: and the prop took three slices through the back of my hand and I think the first thing I heard was
[1071.57] iPeel: just the noise I mean just you know not like you know kind of cutting through flesh and stuff but
[1077.25] iPeel: just the kind of grunting noise yeah of the propeller and then I felt the pain my size prop
[1084.45] iPeel: wasn't because it looks like a big plane I say carbon fiber I mean yeah carbon fiber 12 12 by
[1092.85] iPeel: seven and did it slice the trunk yeah yeah yeah it snapped the prop oh yeah yeah yeah that's the
[1101.81] iPeel: fall off and so there I am I'm in blood absolutely everywhere and I could I look to the
[1112.85] iPeel: back of my hand and I could actually see I could actually like looking into the back of my hand I
[1119.41] iPeel: could actually see inside my hand and I just thought and I am I'm the founding member of
[1127.09] iPeel: team squeamish and I just thought oh yeah I'm describing it so first thing I mean obviously I
[1140.13] iPeel: had nothing up there with me other than this stuff so all I had was like a fleece on so I
[1144.93] iPeel: took the fleece off and I wrapped it around the back of my hand and I just looked at all of the
[1151.01] iPeel: ground station setup the whole all of the plane everything I just thought how the f*** am I going
[1156.37] iPeel: to get this back down the road was probably about a kilometer away have you been to my field
[1163.09] iPeel: Wayne no so it's about a kilometer down this lane I just thought I'm gonna have to phone my missus
[1170.45] iPeel: but you know it's one thing slicing through the back of your hand but having to actually phone
[1175.65] iPeel: your missus is a completely different thing so I kind of picked up the phone and is that why
[1182.05] Tony: you live in the shed now yes but you're asking for pics believe me the pics are coming so
[1192.21] iPeel: anyone that's phoned anyone that's phoned their missus in the middle of the day knows that
[1196.13] iPeel: the conversation's never about you so I kind of preempted this and she picked up the phone and I
[1202.29] iPeel: was like stop I've hurt myself get a get a medical kit you know get a first aid kit and drive it to
[1210.05] iPeel: the field and she's like oh my god are you all right what's happened look can you please just
[1214.53] iPeel: get in the car so she she gets in the car she's driving over and I just look over all this stuff
[1219.89] iPeel: and I just think how the hell am I gonna get this down I just decide I've got to pack it all up
[1224.45] iPeel: and I just chuck it oh so did I keep the blood on the wing yes I did and I think there's some
[1229.73] iPeel: on my ground station I should probably find it but um so I managed to kind of pack everything
[1236.21] iPeel: at the best I could I mean I basically got one and a half hands I chuck it all in like this
[1241.01] iPeel: um in the long grass and then um I just start to feel really weak so I phoned my missus again I
[1249.01] iPeel: said look uh I don't think I'm gonna make it I think I'm gonna pass out you're gonna have to
[1253.09] iPeel: phone an ambulance so she's like oh my god are you all right blah blah blah blah so I'm like
[1257.89] iPeel: trying to console her while like trying desperately not to pass out and so she's like yeah okay I'll
[1263.97] iPeel: phone the ambulance so she phones the ambulance and then I kind of come around a bit and I think
[1269.41] iPeel: okay I can make it to the road so I walk down to the road and she pulls up and finds me kind of
[1276.61] iPeel: slumped over at the side of the road and then she tries to cancel the ambulance and of course you
[1282.37] iPeel: wouldn't you find an ambulance you can't cancel an ambulance so this ambulance has to turn up get
[1287.81] iPeel: me in the back of the car in the back of the ambulance and all the time my wife is just now
[1293.89] iPeel: just obsessed with what's gone on with my hand she's like wanting to like kind of look at the
[1298.93] iPeel: wound and she's getting me to open up she's like really interested in kind of you know all the
[1303.49] iPeel: tendons and stuff that are moving around there's me just kind of I can't even look at it so I I've
[1311.09] iPeel: got my hand like that while she's looking at it because if I look at it I'm just gonna I'm just
[1315.41] iPeel: gonna pass out so the ambulance arrives anyway we get in the back of the ambulance and there's
[1319.49] iPeel: this guy's like look um I don't want to worry you but this is a big thing this isn't like
[1326.37] iPeel: just kind of yeah this isn't just a bandage you up and send you on your way so they take me to
[1331.49] iPeel: Milton Keynes I've got all the knee gnaws on um nj way sorry to interrupt you you must be near
[1340.05] AndyRC: and jay then do you know and jay he's bad for area isn't he and jay I don't know just google
[1346.45] Jack: the textiest man on earth and he should come up because your wife might well you know look at your
[1356.53] iPeel: google history and think you know where the big hangars are in bedford cardington yeah yeah
[1369.65] iPeel: doxing i'm not yeah i've flown around cardington not not not the big thing do you know i was just
[1376.53] AndyRC: asking if a new nj is all from the show no gave up and started shooting people got you
[1384.05] iPeel: so anyway so we get to the hospital and i'm in one of these bays and they're they're literally just
[1389.57] iPeel: about to sew me back up like there's some nurses kind of there prepping this kit to sew me back up
[1394.77] iPeel: and this doctor just kind of pokes his head around the curtain like
[1398.37] iPeel: what's going on and she goes oh it's uh hurt his hand he goes oh what on and she goes oh propeller
[1405.57] iPeel: and obviously the puzzlement on this guy because i went so and says hello you must think like oh
[1411.33] iPeel: you know full size so this guy's obviously thinking well how has he even got a hand still so it's like

[1427.65] iPeel: assessed at ailsbury so we have to drive down to ailsbury and they give me because it's the nhs they
[1433.25] iPeel: give me a couple of ibuprofen for my trouble and send me on my way down to ailsbury and they
[1441.49] iPeel: then take eight hours to assess me wow and eventually we managed to kind of get it assessed
[1449.97] iPeel: and he said yeah you've been through a tendon so um he was like um we're not going to operate
[1456.29] iPeel: on you tonight we do those we do basically idiotic drone tendon operations um every friday
[1464.45] iPeel: so i'm just going to bandage you up and um and send you on your way and you'll come back for
[1470.93] iPeel: an operation on friday so he kind of he does that to me um which is nice so that's um
[1477.33] iPeel: um that's what i have to put up with and and then literally yeah which um
[1487.41] iPeel: funny you should say that but yes i could still fly so um so they send me home like that and they
[1494.05] iPeel: they're literally inside there so i can open wound um they just didn't even bother you said
[1498.53] iPeel: i'm not going to stitch you up there's no point because we're going to operate you on a few days
[1501.97] iPeel: so um so they sent me home like that so that is how i had to go into work the next day
[1509.41] iPeel: and and explain uh explain that one away um so i went in there and um then they
[1516.61] iPeel: operated on the friday and i had three tendons repaired um literally the worst thing i've ever
[1525.25] iPeel: had because like when you have tendon surgery they um i mean they're stitching together tendons
[1531.49] iPeel: i got no idea how they do it but you cannot move your hand at all through it and they ended
[1536.69] iPeel: up putting a tourniquet on me um i was in a to stop bleeding through so they put a tourniquet
[1542.93] iPeel: on me for 45 minutes um can't move your hands sorry did they do it in a local then or is this
[1547.89] iPeel: a general uh local it's all local and a setting yeah yeah how are you distracting yourself
[1554.37] Jack: and this is literally the worst person in the world so they also draw right this is you get
[1563.17] iPeel: you get extreme confidence from the the fact that the guy in pre-op gets a permanent marker out and
[1570.45] iPeel: draws an arrow on your hand as to where they've got to work on you yeah so and um and you get in
[1581.17] iPeel: and i walked into the theater so i walk into the theater and um they're all they're like getting
[1587.57] iPeel: prepped up and there's this huge table obviously you're not normally meant to see it i think you're
[1591.09] iPeel: normally out out of it by then but they kind of go up hop on the bench and it goes oh what music do
[1596.05] iPeel: you want on i'm like come again and it goes oh yeah well you know it'll calm you down what
[1601.09] iPeel: what music do you want on i just went whatever the surgeon wants yeah whatever the surgeon wants on
[1608.77] iPeel: i'm cool with it so i had about four guys operating around me so um it was about an
[1614.21] iPeel: hour and a half in total 45 minutes i was in a tourniquet so it cuts off all the blood supply
[1620.45] iPeel: to your hand and the worst by a country mile was after the operation when they took the tourniquet
[1629.89] iPeel: off and you feel the blood coming back to your hand and the pain of the of the blood just coming
[1637.33] iPeel: back into back into all the vessels it's just it's the most painful thing i've ever felt
[1644.37] iPeel: and then so three months of post-op um you know with exercise balls and stuff like that um but
[1653.65] iPeel: you know at that point at that point i could fly so you can see there that's some thermoplastic
[1659.09] iPeel: that's kind of holding my hand holding my fingers in place yeah but then there's a bit where because
[1664.37] iPeel: obviously you've got scabs on your tendon so you're like this you've actually got to break through
[1669.09] iPeel: the scab so you have to kind of keep exercising and stuff yeah it wasn't great um it's not how
[1675.33] iPeel: how is it you can see in the oh yeah yeah yeah i mean i'm i'm gonna stop sharing that for you
[1682.53] iPeel: probably you're probably losing um you can see just can you see kind of there and i've got like
[1688.61] iPeel: a little yeah yeah but there's like this little kind of thing i don't know whether they left
[1693.33] iPeel: something in me like a bit of carbon fiber or something there's a solid bit there that could
[1698.69] iPeel: be um yeah you have to keep doing that so and i wasn't doing that enough which means i i ended up
[1704.13] iPeel: locking it up and um they i mean they they just told me off all the time they said look you can't
[1711.17] iPeel: break it it's it's fully healed you've got to exercise otherwise you'll lose all the all the
[1717.57] iPeel: kind of capability in your hand so and there was a bit where i just did that one day and then it
[1723.49] iPeel: just went clunk like that and i must have just kind of peeled the scab off or something inside
[1728.13] iPeel: the tendon so yeah yeah not not ideal so yeah um props off but this was actually taking off
[1739.09] iPeel: so this was actually uh in launch so i had a newfound respect for um for large prop planes
[1750.85] Tony: have you gone out on your own and launched stuff since uh yeah yeah it took me a while to get back
[1757.01] iPeel: into it but i mean that that one um no um it was bungee launch from then on it was on the
[1763.65] iPeel: noughtiest it was on the naughty shelf for um for about three months and then started to fly
[1769.33] iPeel: again i flew at great hazley didn't i did the um the tower trip i think so i still don't remember
[1774.85] Curry: the bungee launch because that had didn't the bungee launch have plenty of like hilarity in like
[1780.37] Curry: that bungee's or until you get it going right the the right time yeah it's always um yeah it
[1787.01] iPeel: always takes you you you basically just got to pull on it until you absolutely can't pull any
[1791.89] iPeel: farther but uh bruno used it a while um that's what the jet was launched off wasn't it um a few
[1798.77] Tony: times so he got got some good action but i still think ndlc is walking into a granny trolley story
[1805.49] AndyRC: is worse it's not as deeply related though is it and it's definitely not worth because i didn't

[1878.21] Curry: he's decided to remain uh anonymous but um he may be someone we both know neil um so the story is
[1885.25] Curry: my friend was it was back in the day so he was flying a skywalker because that's what everybody
[1889.49] Curry: had in in fpv back then um and he was he's flying it around and he had his old turner g9x
[1895.81] Curry: with the free sky module which is what everybody had uh until we got the tyrannis and back then
[1902.85] Curry: that came with this little insert with you could put like eight double-a batteries in it
[1906.85] Curry: and it started beeping he's like oh no my batteries are running low and he was flying around he had
[1910.85] Curry: argy pilot going he's he thought oh no problem i'll just take the batteries out and replace them
[1915.97] Curry: because argy pilot will just return home it'll do a nice figure eight so he he opens the radio
[1921.73] Curry: and takes the batteries out and uh starts getting these other batteries to put them in and he's
[1926.29] Curry: noticing the plane's not doing a figure eight it seems to be just sort of flying but it's keeping
[1930.61] Curry: level it's going okay so there's no problems he puts his new batteries in his new batteries are
[1935.01] Curry: flat so the the problem is now that um he's got no radio he's taking the batteries out he's put
[1942.05] Curry: other batteries back in the plane has basically flown away and it's keeping going it's not coming
[1947.89] Curry: back um he he thought about running back down to his house to get some more batteries to buy them
[1953.09] Curry: in but he figured this would be a half an hour trip and it would probably be out of sight so
[1956.85] Curry: instead he sort of watched it through his goggles as far as he could go and after about sort of five
[1962.05] Curry: kilometers he lost signal and it just kept on going what had happened is he hadn't set up his
[1967.65] Curry: fail safe correctly so instead of going into return at home it went into fly by YA which is
[1972.85] Curry: just if everybody knows it's just basically stabilized it doesn't it doesn't try and keep
[1977.25] Curry: a direction it doesn't try and keep a height it just flies stabilized so basically he'd lost the
[1982.29] Curry: plane but um i sort of chatted with him and we sort of figured out a sort of a search pattern and
[1988.37] Curry: most likely where it would be and we figured if he got on there and drove down there quickly
[1993.09] Curry: and tried to sort of look in fields and maybe got like a quad in the air um he'd be able to
[1997.57] Curry: find it and surprisingly he did find it it was over 10 miles away it basically got along um
[2005.01] Curry: and then the engine had cut and it had come back down and he was surprised there was absolutely
[2009.41] Curry: no damage now the the interesting thing about this because that's not a particularly interesting
[2013.57] Curry: story as it is there is when he got the sd card and he looked at the the last bit of footage on
[2020.53] Curry: it and this is it coming down to land and you will notice those power lines and to remind you
[2027.41] Curry: this is not under any control this is on its own glumiding look what happens here
[2040.93] Curry: the actual noise that happened when that plane went through the power lines and that was picked
[2045.17] Curry: up just from that little um a little even eight eight or a mobius picked up that noise as it went
[2050.13] Frank: through that is unbelievable not the little wooden pole power lines but like mainly the proper
[2065.17] Frank: national grid makes fluorescent tubes for us if you stick it in the ground sort of thing
[2073.65] Curry: if you stand near it yeah but i i think that would have been more known about if it had
[2079.17] Curry: hit one of those power lines there would definitely been some sparks at the very least

[2136.69] iPeel: come across it um and play it thinking it's something else there's no way i could watch that

[2197.81] Wynne: and uh you know you've kind of seen some cars there and oh hello there's two cars okay so basically
[2205.65] Wynne: i hit the gate um cartwheeled all the way past all the people and in between the two vehicles
[2214.21] Wynne: how i don't know and how i didn't hit anything i still don't know so basically you can see as you
[2223.89] Wynne: follow this gentleman here it went right between them two cars and that's the doughnut sitting
[2230.29] Wynne: down that flow that's me yep so every good pilot what do they do well quickly have a look around
[2237.17] Wynne: and uh dum dee dum dee dum pick up the card and uh yeah no i'm sorry yeah it means okay okay

[2338.45] Tony: on on this one tony this was race practice this was a few years ago when i was when i used to
[2344.93] Tony: race probably five four years ago race practice i can't even remember where we were um yeah so
[2357.39] Tony: we were racing around a track i crashed i said right everyone i'm going out on track made sure
[2363.87] Tony: i told everyone i'm going out on track going out on track going to get my quad walked over to pick
[2369.15] Tony: up my quad picked it up armed it pulled the battery out and as i was coming up like that
[2376.51] Tony: like a like like in the bad boys slow most this quad just went bad and it was a 5s quad with GoPro
[2387.63] Tony: and everything on it straight in straight into my face and i was i just went down and was just like
[2393.95] Tony: this and i was the pain was just oh so bad so so bad i was just like oh my god i'm um one of my
[2403.79] Tony: mates rich come over took his t-shirt and just literally stuffed it in my all around here because
[2409.23] Tony: i had there was blood just squirting everywhere you need you're bleeding and someone puts their
[2414.43] Tony: sweaty bloody t-shirt right under your nose it's disgusting and i was just like oh my god and he
[2419.71] Tony: called the call the ambulance and everything and it took about an hour to get there and i was so
[2426.75] Tony: scared like i was didn't want to talk because it hurt so much i literally thought my chin was
[2432.83] Tony: smashed to bits i had no teeth i was too scared to even move my tongue around my mouth
[2439.87] Tony: just just because i thought it was just really uh anyway i went to hospital and it what it
[2447.71] Tony: i ended up having about six or seven stitches and it it wasn't that bad after all i broke the blokes
[2453.07] Jack: quad i'm never gonna name who it was he's done it i will if you ever meet me i'll tell you exactly
[2460.27] Tony: what a little prick but yeah i never never said it was but the worst thing was is that i said i'm
[2467.87] Tony: going out on the track and then they took off from that start point and flew it's not as if
[2474.83] Tony: they were already going around the track they took off and then you know and i'd said i'm out
[2481.63] iPeel: on the track but the thing with the hospital is you have to answer the same questions over and
[2488.43] iPeel: over again as you see all the different people at the hospital it's like the amount of times you
[2493.55] Tony: have to explain what happened i mean when when the ambulance said remove your t-shirt and i
[2499.07] Tony: i went like that he went yeah you're gonna need plastic surgery son i thought oh great
[2505.15] iPeel: it well it doesn't look that bad are those stitches or beard where does one end in the
[2510.91] Tony: other begin yeah you've already seen i'm bruising around the mouth this is like i don't know five
[2519.95] Jack: hours into it but this is yeah that was that was saying about plastic surgery he doesn't realize
[2528.59] Tony: that tony is actually that ugly but i mean i'm just i'm i feel i was lucky that it hit me in a chin
[2539.63] Tony: basically it'd be in the hardest bit of my face if it had got me there their eyes throw i don't
[2547.23] Tony: know could have been i mean if i shave you can see a scar and i did for about a year i have really
[2558.67] Tony: bad you know i could push the bone and it would hurt but feels good now but that was a 5s quad
[2565.23] Tony: with a gopro on into my chin and i broke his frame so get in anyone wants to fight come on
[2574.03] Curry: does this mean there's gopro footage of it hitting your chin somewhere it was i told him to delete it
[2579.31] Tony: i've watched it and i've said delete that it's horrific it was horrible just see me stand up i'm

[3352.8] Jack: overflow tunnel so that light there will turn red and you'll hear klaxons and that is all i can say
[3362.16] Jack: is basically a river of sewage and if all of a sudden it rains you've got 15 minutes to like
[3373.44] Jack: two minutes to get out so if it suddenly starts hammering down with rain all this will flood
[3380.0] Jack: and you will die and drown in pieces and piss so yeah that is a full-on river there so we we hang
[3389.84] Jack: out here and this is a bit they're like i'll go to the bit more the go to zone e it's a bit more
[3394.8] Jack: open and you know there's two lights there and as you can see it's not it's not very good light
[3401.28] Jack: so anyway i'm like okay i'll see but look there's just there's just like river of just thing and
[3406.72] Jack: we're taking off from hand from your hand and and the camera's all wet now because it's just
[3414.72] Jack: sweaty it's just humid and horrible and gross and then you you you take off and then to cut
[3424.16] Jack: a long story short you know i'm flying i'm hovering around you know i'm you know just
[3430.72] Jack: testing it out i can't really go far and then i go into this other tunnel that's even wetter
[3436.16] Jack: that's not mud by the way you see there hang on you can see people's footprints
[3443.2] Jack: uh and there that's not mud uh that's that's something else and it definitely
[3452.56] Jack: smelt like something else so this this is what i class as a tunnel of doom and we fly there
[3460.16] Jack: you know and i'm flying down there and i'm you know i'm having a good time
[3463.84] Jack: and then it's so dark and then all of a sudden as i come back to the opening my
[3469.36] Jack: quad starts to freak out i don't actually hit anything hang on so i come i go in i'm like
[3476.4] Jack: so this so i turn around i come back and then all of a sudden just starts freaking out going
[3482.88] Jack: up on the wall and you saw my prop down and all i can say was that i the trouble is with spinning
[3488.88] Jack: props and mud that's not mud is that it then decides to flick all over me
[3505.36] Jack: you can't even see out of the camera anymore it is horrendous and um yeah and uh yeah you can see
[3514.24] Jack: all the you know where they rinse stuff down there's me actually wanting to die and uh yeah
[3521.28] Jack: i'm like oh do i really want to touch it i just take it by the camera and uh yeah i'm as you can
[3527.84] Jack: see i am absolutely covered in feces so this was scoping out this was scoping out potential sites

[3541.68] iPeel: the drone racing league had been to and you thought we can do that but in Brighton yeah yeah

[3612.56] Jack: to his work and i said i can't come in but i can't come in i said grabs him bettle and he grabs
[3618.48] Jack: him and i said just spray me and he starts spraying me and then i said no in the face
[3625.84] Jack: and he paused this and he goes are you sure and i was like yep my eyes and everything and i just
[3633.36] Jack: let him spray just hardcore i was like no i need it more up my nose uh my ear i i just like luckily
[3647.36] Jack: i just put my key in the door when i got home and my neighbors saw my ass because i just took all
[3654.0] Jack: my clothes off to be fair jack that's probably yours yeah turn my trousers upside down emptied
[3662.4] Jack: my trousers on the door mat and then took my shirt off and everything threw them outside
[3668.56] Jack: went in just got in the shower and um just scrubbed myself with an inch of my life
[3676.72] Jack: and then came down in a towel grabbed my wallet um and my stuff with with gloves and that and
[3682.08] Jack: then once i got dried i went outside and when i got dressed with gloves on picked up all my clothes
[3688.16] Jack: and my shoes just put them directly in the bin and i put the quad in the bin
[3696.56] Jack: and then i decided i'm gonna buy a tyrannis
[3701.2] Jack: and then put my old transmitter in the bin and uh yeah just oh and if you ever wonder why i don't
[3708.08] Jack: fly with a young lanyard is because that went in the bin as well that is bloody disgusting
[3716.72] Jack: yeah and then i was ill for two weeks after it was the worst that's why i don't mind sharing

[3832.56] Curry: loaded with a nice new gopro hero 7 drifted up and into the antenna landing upside down on the top
[3839.44] Curry: wedged it wedged in the wires i panicked randomly tossed the sticks in all directions and by some
[3845.2] Curry: miracle it dropped off the antenna and was able to fly back to me the whole instant only lasts
[3850.16] Curry: a few seconds but felt like an hour when i got the drone back and landed at my feet i was
[3854.48] Curry: seriously shaking i do have gopro footage of the entire thing but never posted it don't really
[3859.92] Curry: want the cell phone companies to see videos of my props trying to saw their way out of a bunch of
[3864.16] Curry: wires that's a good illustration of when something does go wrong time goes very slowly as you're
