[5.0] Curry: We record the show live on the Thursday night on youtube.com forward slash Let's Drone Out [10.0] Curry: and our lovely patrons help with the editing costs. [12.0] (Patrons): These are Wacky Wes, Mikey Dread, Art Faulkner, Carlos Campos. [19.0] (Patrons): Thank you. [51.42] Jack: Hello and welcome back to another episode for Let's Drone Out. [57.42] Jack: Tonight you are joined by my little love vegan sausage. [62.42] BlueOwl: Bonjour. [66.7] Jack: And Andrew slash Frank. [68.7] Frank: Good evening. [70.7] Jack: The lovely and beautiful blue owl. [74.7] BlueOwl: Hello. [76.7] Jack: And my crime mystery solving partner, Kerry Kitten. [82.7] Jack: Hello. [85.46] Jack: I didn't know we'd do a musical interlude Tony. [89.46] Jack: I'm the dirty sponge sniffing bright until I fly. [93.46] Jack: You don't have a guest tonight. [97.46] Jack: So it's going to be a general chit chat and hopefully blue owl will come back next week [103.46] Jack: after what we really like and how drone information or. [110.46] Curry: I will start off with an on topic question if I may. [114.46] Curry: I saw this thing on Facebook where the BFMA claim that the rules are changing. [120.46] Curry: But they've they only the BFMA have negotiated a special exclusion just for their members. [127.46] Curry: But they really don't go into detail what they're doing and what's different about what they is. [132.46] Curry: What they is what they're doing differently than like anybody else. [135.46] Curry: Frank, do you know the detail? [137.46] Curry: Could you be bothered to read it all? [138.46] Frank: So it's a an exemption for the model flying associations of the UK. [143.46] Frank: That includes BMFA, FDK, the large model associations and the Scottish era modeling associations. [152.46] Frank: So there's those for associations, members of those associations get some extra exemptions. [163.46] Frank: Kind of the one most interesting in terms of FPV is for FPV events. [171.46] Frank: Basically saying where there's a sterile area, where there's an area where people can't get into and quads can't get out of. [183.46] Frank: You can fly there up to a reduced height of I think it's about 50 feet without having to have a specific spotter for every individual pilot. [195.46] Curry: This is essentially racing inside a netted area pretty much then. [199.46] Frank: Yeah. I mean, I imagine that you could probably also say if you've got it fenced off and with an exclusion zone around it, you could probably do that as well. [211.46] Frank: Basically, if you were flying at an event, a race event, then you wouldn't need a specific spotter for each person is how I've understood it. [218.46] Frank: But I haven't read it in detail, so don't quote me on that. [220.46] Frank: Read the thing that they've sent everyone. [223.46] Curry: I couldn't be bothered. That's why we rely on you. Frank will read it and make us understand and then we will ignore it. [230.46] Tony: And then we won't look at the spreadsheet and then keep asking him the same question over and over and over again. [236.46] Tony: It's like I'm back at work. [240.46] Frank: Sorry, Frank. [242.46] Frank: But this is interesting. [245.46] Frank: There's some actual actual exemptions there, which could be. [250.46] Frank: Yeah, I think it probably is worth reading, but there was like four documents to read of a number of pages and I just couldn't be bothered when I'm not going to be flying. [261.46] Frank: Probably before they've released the next set of some documents, so there's no point in me reading at the moment. [268.46] Frank: So there we go. [272.46] Curry: That's all I have for you. [273.46] Curry: Karen, as you are, and as you know, always take your spotter with you, whatever that might be. [279.46] Curry: Mine right now is an invisible elephant called Harvey. [282.46] Tony: Mine's my dog. [285.46] Jack: Mine's my dog with eyes drawn on it. [292.46] Tony: Blue owl, what are you drinking? [295.46] Tony: It looks like you have a bottle of champagne, but is it just beer? [301.46] BlueOwl: That's, yeah, just beer. [304.46] BlueOwl: It's not champagne. [305.46] BlueOwl: Not yet. [306.46] Tony: It's not that I have a couple of more days till Christmas. [309.46] Tony: Are you going to have champagne at Christmas? [311.46] BlueOwl: Yeah, of course. [312.46] BlueOwl: So I'm actually traveling home this Saturday. [316.46] BlueOwl: You're going to see yet another background probably next week. [319.46] Tony: Oh yeah, because it's our Christmas next week, isn't it? [322.46] Tony: Thursday, is it Christmas Eve Thursday? [325.46] Tony: Yes. [326.46] Tony: Oh my God, we're all going to have to be Christmas-y then for our next episode. [331.46] Tony: Can we have snow in the background, Frank? [333.46] Tony: Do you reckon you could do that? [335.46] Frank: Maybe, I don't know. [337.46] Frank: And then after that, we've got New Year's Eve is also a Thursday. [342.46] Frank: So that's come well. [343.46] Frank: Really? [344.46] Jack: Do you want to have a go at trying to do what we talked about for New Year's Eve? [350.46] Frank: I don't know, maybe. [351.46] Frank: At the moment, I don't feel like doing much at all, but that's just because I've had a long day. [356.46] Jack: Yeah, I know. [359.46] Jack: I managed to get myself locked out of my bank account, and I got refused entry to the blood test place. [371.46] Tony: Is it your rideable again? [374.46] Curry: Well, the photos start hacking his bank account now. [380.46] Frank: And spending all your money on different rooms is going to feel a little army. [385.46] Frank: No. [386.46] Frank: A bit like you're saying, Daniel from Aussie Test Flight, but it's all autonomous railroads. [392.46] Frank: There's just going to be a swarm of them driving around, eating slugs. [397.46] Tony: I've already enjoyed this video. [401.46] Jack: I think the thing I'm struggling with the most today is that something that Tony said to me was they have the ability to turn you off. [412.46] Jack: And what he means by that, hang on, let me let me just identify a minute. [418.46] Jack: I need to get over there. [420.46] Jack: This is tin foil time, everyone. [425.46] Jack: Tinfoil Tony time. [427.46] Jack: Let me just get a tin foil hat sticker so that anyone listening to this editor, if it turns out to be an absolute load of bullshit, please feel free to cut it out. [439.46] Frank: And the whole program is just like the intro music and then a brief segment of us introducing ourselves, then saying goodbye and then the actual music telemetry. [451.46] Tony: Some people don't like this and actually like it when we talk completely. [457.46] Jack: This is tin foil time. [459.46] Jack: I use the tin foil sticker to indicate the nutty rants that I have to deal with from Tony, the government. [468.46] Tony: Oh God, I'm going to get a drink. [471.46] Jack: The Earth flat, the Royal people. [480.46] Curry: I particularly like the one where he decided he wasn't an anti-vaxxer, but you should only have one vaccine, not a booster. [487.46] Curry: That's like half anti-vaxxer. [490.46] Tony: I can't even remember saying that. [492.46] Tony: Should I tell you the story about the wetsuit? [499.46] Jack: But anyway, I literally have my bank account turned off. [505.46] Jack: And yeah, that sucks. [507.46] Curry: Wow. [508.46] Curry: Why did they turn your bank account off? [510.46] Curry: Did they decide you were wrong? [512.46] Jack: What happened was I tried to spend money and they were like, whoa, hang on. [519.46] Tony: He hasn't done that for a long time. [522.46] Tony: What's with the white noise in the background? [525.46] Jack: Who is that? [526.46] Tony: I think it's blue ale. [528.46] Jack: Are you like boiling seven kettles at the same time? [534.46] BlueOwl: No, is it really that loud? [536.46] BlueOwl: It could be my laptop. [538.46] BlueOwl: Can you still hear it? [541.46] Tony: That's better. [543.46] BlueOwl: Okay, so I'll just stay away from you guys. [547.46] BlueOwl: That's always worse. [551.46] Tony: That does sound a lot better. [554.46] BlueOwl: Yeah, anyway, if you'll continue. [558.46] Curry: No, no. [559.46] Curry: I hoppered in my garden. [561.46] Curry: Does that count? [563.46] Tony: No. [564.46] Curry: Okay, then no. [566.46] Tony: What? [568.46] Tony: No. [569.46] Tony: Frank? [571.46] Tony: What? [572.46] Tony: Do you have pride? [574.46] Curry: No. [576.46] Curry: Don't worry, because Tony's been out flying. [579.46] Tony: I have actually gone out and been flying. [583.46] Tony: What have you been out flying? [586.46] (Patrons): Let me show you. [587.46] (Patrons): Yes, again. [591.22] Frank: Oh, that's a big one. [593.22] Frank: Or is it just a small Tony? [596.22] Curry: Both is probably true. [598.22] Curry: Shut up. [599.22] Tony: This is the fossil stuff, Tomahawk, which I've been flying and testing. [606.22] Tony: I flew it the other day on Be Your Flight. [610.22] Tony: And it was okay. [612.22] Tony: It wasn't great. [613.22] Tony: And then I got speaking to our friend that we had asked on the show a couple of weeks ago, [620.22] Tony: film for Top Gear, Andrew Lawrence. [622.22] Tony: And he said, why don't you try EmuFlight? [627.22] Tony: So I put EmuFlight on it. [628.22] Tony: It's got presets for 7-inch, 5-inch, and different presets. [633.22] Tony: Anyway, I tried the 7-inch preset, and it flew so much better than Be Your Flight. [639.22] Tony: I mean, I upped the PIDs quite a lot, but it was 10 times better than Be Your Flight. [646.22] Tony: So Emu for the win at the moment. [649.22] Tony: Has any of you guys tried EmuFlight at all? [653.22] Curry: No, I keep meaning to do it. [654.22] Curry: Does it still have GPS rescue? [656.22] Curry: It does have that. [658.22] Tony: I haven't put that on this quad yet, but I'm going to. [663.22] Tony: I'm going to soon, but yeah. [665.22] Curry: I've only got one 7-inch. [666.22] Curry: I've got that. [667.22] Curry: I'm just looking towards it. [668.22] Curry: Just that Tyro 129 thing, which was the dodgy Ishin build. [672.22] Curry: But it didn't fly bad, but I was keen to see if it could go better, [676.22] Curry: because I stuffed a massive battery on that, a stupid size like 4S5200. [682.22] Curry: Just like, just shove on there. [683.22] Curry: Let's see what happens. [684.22] Curry: And just to try and get more out of it. [687.22] Curry: So how did your long flight time attempts go with it? [692.22] Tony: 10 minutes, which is not a 6S2200, 2200. [702.22] Curry: So not amazing. [704.22] Curry: No. [705.22] Curry: What else are you going to try? [707.22] Tony: Well, I've got a few things I can try. [709.22] Tony: I can get a 2700 because I think that'll fit without being ridiculous. [714.22] Frank: More battery. [716.22] Tony: Yes. [717.22] Tony: More weight. [718.22] Tony: I know. [719.22] Tony: But I think there's a few things I can try. [723.22] Tony: I'm going to try a 2700. [726.22] Tony: And I've ordered dual blades instead of tri-blades. [730.22] Tony: So that's another thing. [731.22] Tony: But I know I'm going to have to retune it again by putting the dual blades on. [738.22] Tony: And then we've got an, not using lipo, using, is it lithium ion? [746.22] Tony: That could be the next thing. [747.22] Tony: So there's three things I can try to get to the 15. [753.22] Tony: I was so bored flying flying. [755.22] Tony: I actually got cramp in my hand. [757.22] Tony: 10 minutes flying was boring. [760.22] Tony: Really boring. [761.22] Tony: I got cramp because, you know, I'm pinching on this side. [765.22] Tony: I'm like, thumb this finger and I pinch on the throttle. [769.22] Tony: So I'm a bit of a hybrid. [771.22] Tony: And I've got cramp. [775.22] Tony: But apparently, 3.5-meter flight was the best. [780.22] Tony: That is what my X-class flies on and quite a lot of my race quads [785.22] Tony: when I flew the race quads. [788.22] Tony: And then it all went downhill from there. [791.22] Tony: Apparently, EMU flight is based around a beta flight when it was 3.5, [798.22] Tony: when the filters were all good and it was flying really nice. [801.22] Tony: So, yeah. [804.22] Tony: I found it really so much better. [808.22] Curry: So Fruity Cakes is saying he's getting 18 minutes on a 1600 for us. [813.22] Curry: I don't know how. [815.22] Curry: What are you doing? [817.22] Curry: I'm getting 10 minutes from this with a 450 mAh success. [825.22] Curry: It gets 10 minutes on this one. [828.22] Tony: Do you carry an E-care and HD camera? [831.22] Curry: No, it's tiny. [833.22] Curry: But, yeah, I mean, there's obviously things to do, but it seems... [838.22] Curry: One interesting question I had from that, and this is where Andy could be here [843.22] Curry: because he'll always have stats on that. [845.22] Curry: Is it better to go 4S or 6S on this, or doesn't it matter? [849.22] Curry: Does it count about battery density, how much you can get? [852.22] Curry: So can you shove a big 4S on and not use as much throttle? [856.22] Curry: Well, suppose more throttle than 6S, or less amount of 6S, [862.22] Curry: but you don't need as much throttle for the same RPM. [866.22] Curry: What lasts more? [867.22] Tony: Well, I made it on 4S and my throttle was at 60% to hover. [873.22] Tony: And then as soon as I put the 6S on, it was, like, 45. [877.22] Tony: So it was a bit better than that respect. [881.22] Tony: But, I mean, I don't know. [884.22] Tony: I spoke to Andrew, the Top Gear guy, today, and he said he's got a 7-inch in it. [891.22] Tony: He felt the weight of this and was like, [893.22] Tony: oh, this is really light compared to his 7-inch. [897.22] Curry: Is that because he's got, like, a red epic camera on top of it or something? [901.22] Tony: It could have been that. [904.22] Tony: But I know 10 minutes is quite good, but I was hoping, [910.22] Tony: well, I said 20 to 15. [912.22] Tony: So there's still a bit of work to be done. [916.22] Tony: But fuel blades, that could up it a lot. [920.22] Tony: Fuel blades, different battery. [922.22] Tony: Yeah, there's several things we can do. [925.22] Tony: And I've still tuned it properly, so there's a bit of tuning in there. [929.22] Tony: And if you've got the wrong tune, that can heat up your battery, as well. [933.22] Frank: Also, how were you flying it? I mean, is... [936.22] Tony: I was cruising, like, it's a cruising cord. [939.22] Tony: It's, like, literally just cruise. [942.22] Tony: Mind you, the cruise speed on it is quite quick. [945.22] Tony: You know, it's, like, probably a 5S. [948.22] Curry: You didn't have a blue hour camera angle, did you? [950.22] Curry: Because if you think you're just cruising, [952.22] Curry: you're actually going about 100 miles an hour. That's your problem. [955.22] Tony: No. [956.22] Tony: I mean, I'm getting a little bit of jello back from it, [959.22] Tony: but it could be the captain's chair mount. [963.22] Tony: I think that's what you called it, the captain's chair. [965.22] Tony: It's up in here. [967.22] Tony: Have you heard it called that before, or are you just making it up? [970.22] Curry: No. [971.22] Tony: Captain's seat. [972.22] Tony: I haven't heard it. [973.22] Tony: Captain's seat. [974.22] Curry: Has it sat at the top? [975.22] Tony: Yeah, sat on the top of the GoPro mount. [978.22] Tony: So it could be getting a bit of jello from movement, I'm not sure. [982.22] Curry: Oh, yeah, because you've mounted it on top of movable stuff, I guess. [985.22] Curry: Maybe that's a bit of a... [987.22] Tony: It could be that. [988.22] Tony: But it sounded so much better than when I was running it on the beater flight. [994.22] Tony: When I run it on the beater flight, you know, you get that wobble, [998.22] Tony: that horrible wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-wha, [1000.22] Tony: when you fly in it. [1001.22] Tony: That went away as soon as I put emu flight on. [1005.22] Tony: So the filters and stuff were so much better. [1009.22] Tony: So I'm going to fly emu flight from now on, [1013.22] Tony: on most of my cords. [1015.22] Tony: Apparently, you're really good on... [1017.22] Tony: See, look, by blades, you get 18 minutes. [1020.22] Tony: There's Andy... [1021.22] Curry: It's Andy who declined to be on tonight, because he's busy. [1024.22] Curry: He's saying we'll get you 18 minutes. [1026.22] Curry: That's quite an upgrade from 10 minutes. [1028.22] Tony: Well, this is a test I'm going to do. [1030.22] Tony: So I've got some on order. [1032.22] Tony: They should be here tomorrow or Saturday morning. [1035.22] Tony: So that's next thing I'll do. [1036.22] Tony: Keep the same battery. [1038.22] Tony: But yeah, I really, really think if you're bored of beta flight [1043.22] Tony: and think it's gone too far, try emu flight. [1046.22] Tony: Because I got... [1047.22] Tony: When beta flight got to four point whatever, [1050.22] Tony: it seemed every time I put it on a cord, it seemed crap. [1056.22] Tony: I don't know if anyone else found that at all. [1059.22] Curry: I very rarely do anything with it now, [1061.22] Curry: because I don't understand some of the things anymore. [1064.22] Tony: It's all all right. [1066.22] Tony: What else is there? Are we not in the news? [1069.22] Tony: Well, FPV news, not a lot. [1072.22] Jack: Yeah, pretty much. [1074.22] Jack: Have people started receiving the Fat Shark digital stuff? [1080.22] Jack: Have you seen any news stuff on that? [1084.22] Curry: No videos about it. [1085.22] Curry: The only thing we were chatting about before you got here [1088.22] Curry: is Daniel RC Test Flight. [1090.22] Curry: We were talking about his Rover [1092.22] Curry: and his interesting mix of high tech and low tech. [1096.22] Curry: Like just for extra battery power, [1098.22] Curry: let's strap a couple of the old solar wings to the Rover to see how it goes. [1102.22] Curry: We're enjoying his stuff, but we have approached him to come on [1105.22] Curry: and we did not get a response. [1107.22] Curry: He doesn't want to talk to us. [1110.22] Curry: Very wise. [1112.22] Curry: I think it's fair. [1116.22] Tony: I'd like him to do the outro though. [1120.22] Curry: Thanks for watching. Bye. [1123.22] Jack: I know. [1124.22] Jack: Yeah. [1125.22] Jack: Has there been any more news update on the DJI thing? [1129.22] Jack: I think it's called the Spark, [1135.22] Jack: Ignite, [1137.22] Jack: Flash in the pan, [1139.22] Jack: Coughlage. [1141.22] Tony: I saw something on Facebook, but I don't know. [1144.22] Jack: It literally looks like a coffee maker. [1148.22] Tony: Yeah, I'm not sure, man. [1150.22] Tony: I haven't seen anything in any of it. [1154.22] Jack: What's the old curry kitten? [1156.22] Jack: I've noticed your Rush Blade Super 60 amp board. [1160.22] Jack: How have you been getting on with that? [1162.22] Curry: Clearly you haven't watched a review, [1164.22] Curry: else you'd be saying what an interesting design they had [1167.22] Curry: to put a big power filter board on the end of it [1169.22] Curry: so it won't fit in your frame properly. [1171.22] Jack: No, I could see that. [1173.22] Jack: It's two great big caps that are tumors on the end of the board. [1177.22] Curry: Two massive caps means it doesn't fit in quads. [1180.22] Curry: So their stuff is generally really good. [1184.22] Curry: I really do like Rush FPV. [1187.22] Curry: Their VTXs are awesome. [1189.22] Curry: The flight controller was really nice. [1191.22] Curry: It was also encased in an aluminium shell, [1194.22] Curry: so there's no electronics. [1196.22] Curry: Each of the solder pads is all on the outside. [1199.22] Curry: None of this inside horribleness. [1201.22] Curry: Nice and easy to solder. [1203.22] Curry: They give you about 50 leads so you can plug it in. [1207.22] Curry: It's generally the same as ESC, [1209.22] Curry: and then they gave you this power board. [1212.22] Curry: All I can suggest is they produced all this [1215.22] Curry: and then put it together and said, [1216.22] Curry: oh, we've got noise. [1217.22] Curry: Quick, produce something to fix it. [1219.22] Curry: And their fix has stopped fitting into frames [1222.22] Curry: because it sticks out in the back [1224.22] Curry: exactly where all the standoffs would go. [1227.22] Curry: So that's a problem. [1229.22] Jack: Could you desolder them and add normal caps [1232.22] Jack: but have them flopped over? [1235.22] Curry: But I was following what their recommendation was [1241.22] Curry: because I always do that to start with. [1243.22] Curry: It's like, this is what they've asked to do. [1246.22] Curry: I don't know why they won't just have one big cap coming out [1249.22] Curry: of the power wire connector like loads of other people do. [1254.22] Curry: Perhaps Caroline's saying, [1256.22] Curry: designed to make you buy their frame. [1258.22] Curry: So far, it fits in one frame. [1260.22] Curry: I can't believe they're short-sighted enough to say, [1263.22] Curry: don't worry, everyone will just buy this frame [1265.22] Curry: if they want to see a seaboard. [1266.22] Curry: That doesn't seem like what they're going to do. [1269.22] Curry: I don't know what's going on. [1270.22] Curry: Hopefully, they'll fix it. [1272.22] Curry: But it seemed to fly very smoothly [1275.22] Curry: as far as hovering in my garden goes. [1278.22] Curry: Didn't have a particularly useful flight. [1280.22] Curry: Had a very short FPV flight [1281.22] Curry: where I'm looking at a screen like this, [1283.22] Curry: trying not to hit my fence. [1285.22] Curry: That was about it, really. [1288.22] Tony: I'm really impressed with the member, [1290.22] Tony: the member combo that I put in my, [1293.22] Tony: the F7 in this seven inch. [1296.22] Tony: Really, really good. [1297.22] Tony: And it had a physical button to put it into DFU mode. [1303.22] Tony: So you didn't have to join two solder pads together [1306.22] Tony: and all that. [1307.22] Tony: You literally press a button in to get it into DFU mode, [1311.22] Tony: which I found fantastic. [1313.22] Curry: That has been my case for about four years now. [1317.22] Curry: Yeah. [1318.22] Tony: All the flight controllers I've had in the last couple of years [1321.22] Tony: have literally had to bridge... [1323.22] Curry: Was your last flight controller, literally, [1325.22] Curry: a Naze 32 Rev5 or something? [1329.22] Jack: All the boot buttons. [1330.22] Jack: What were you on about? [1332.22] Tony: We had to bridge. [1333.22] Tony: Every time I've had to put something in DFU on any of my quarters, [1337.22] Tony: bridge this, bridge that. [1340.22] Tony: Anyway, that was originally... [1342.22] Jack: You actually got dementia. [1344.22] Tony: People... [1346.22] Curry: We're all saying boot buttons exist all the time. [1350.22] Curry: Anybody in the chat can think of a flight controller recently. [1354.22] Curry: We've had to take like a paperclip or whatever [1356.22] Curry: and try and bridge two contacts, put it in DFU mode. [1359.22] Curry: Please let us know. [1361.22] Curry: We think Tony's lost a couple of years here to doing it. [1364.22] Jack: Yeah. [1365.22] Jack: Well, maybe I haven't done that. [1367.22] Jack: In the TLI, what were you on about? [1369.22] Jack: You demented OAP. [1372.22] Tony: That and you just literally put the lead into... [1378.22] Tony: from the ESC straight into the flight controller. [1381.22] Tony: Brilliant. [1382.22] Tony: And then the lead from the DJI cam straight into the flight controller. [1386.22] Tony: Well good. [1387.22] Jack: Blavao, were you going to say something? [1389.22] Jack: You unmuted yourself. [1391.22] BlueOwl: Yeah, I unmuted myself so that he could check my sound. [1396.22] Jack: Very, very good. [1397.22] BlueOwl: But yeah, it's true. [1399.22] BlueOwl: I remember bridging the little two pins to enter the boot mode. [1405.22] BlueOwl: The bootloader mode. [1406.22] BlueOwl: But that was like three, four years ago. [1410.22] BlueOwl: What's that? [1411.22] Tony: Just fucking come on, be on my side. [1414.22] Tony: Sorry, Tony. [1415.22] Tony: I'm going with the guys. [1417.22] Tony: All right, I'm going to leave. [1419.22] Curry: I am. [1420.22] Curry: I can't help you. [1421.22] Curry: I've got one. [1422.22] Curry: Look, and you notice it says Afro Flight 32 on it. [1426.22] Curry: That's how long ago you had to get before you had to hold pins down and boot things. [1431.22] Jack: The SPF3 was boot as well. [1435.22] Jack: Join, I think. [1438.22] Jack: Yeah, it was. [1439.22] Jack: That didn't have a boot button. [1442.22] BlueOwl: Oh no, Tony, come back. [1444.22] BlueOwl: I think you've got a man and left. [1447.22] Jack: He's used to it. [1448.22] Jack: He's just been a diva. [1450.22] Jack: Or failing that, Danny's gnawed his way out or something. [1455.22] Frank: This episode was recorded in front of a live online audience, [1459.22] Frank: downloaded and edited to make sense when it played audio only, [1463.22] Frank: censored to please the iTunes people, [1465.22] Frank: hosted on the internet, [1466.22] Frank: forwarded through to your podcast provider, [1468.22] Frank: downloaded, playing on your device, [1470.22] Frank: and is now playing in your ears. [1472.22] Frank: All thanks to our Patreons. [1474.22] Frank: Consider joining them and you'll also get other online benefits. [1477.22] Frank: Find out more at patreon.com forward slash let's drone out. [1483.22] Jack: Are you crazy done now? [1484.22] Jack: Are you all right? [1486.22] (Patrons): Yeah, I'm fine. [1487.22] Jack: When you own this, they have boot buttons. [1489.22] Jack: That is the FU boot buttons. [1492.22] Tony: Are we still going to carry on this effect? [1499.22] Jack: No, I just, I'm concerned about your health. [1503.22] Jack: Can you wash your hands after soldering with lead solder? [1507.22] Jack: Tony doesn't solder. [1508.22] Tony: I use chewing gum, idiot. [1512.22] Frank: Tony, instead of using the button, [1515.22] Frank: just picking the button away and then just shorting the buttons out. [1519.22] Curry: I can't find that. [1520.22] Curry: I can't get to the patio. [1522.22] Curry: Let me take this button thing off so I can get my team. [1530.22] Tony: Look, Tweezers did the job. [1532.22] Tony: Yeah, exactly. [1533.22] Tony: I used to use Tweezers. [1534.22] Curry: Martin's the only person we can think of that's older than you at this point. [1537.22] Curry: So I don't trust his opinion. [1539.22] Tony: There is you carrying it in. [1541.22] Curry: Yeah, but you wouldn't think of it right now. [1544.22] Curry: Who's the one stuck back in time? [1546.22] Tony: Maybe I haven't brought it flight controller for that long. [1549.22] Jack: You know what I mean? [1551.22] Jack: Mateks have boot buttons as well. [1553.22] Tony: Not their ones. [1555.22] Tony: Well, they might have all snapped off while I was waiting. [1558.22] Tony: I didn't really like it. [1560.22] Jack: You may never know whatever have boot buttons. [1563.22] Frank: Mr. Shady has a sensible question. [1566.56] Frank: How much can a tiny 7-inch weigh? [1568.56] Frank: Mine comes in at 425 grams without battery or GoPro. [1573.56] Tony: Let me go and get my scales. [1576.56] Jack: I'll be back. [1586.22] Frank: If you pick up a number, it's 50 meters that you could fly in a scale area under a race event. [1594.22] Frank: It's 160 feet. [1596.22] Frank: We've got the unit fixed up. [1598.22] Frank: Hang on. [1600.5] Jack: Let me just jam my screen, right? [1602.5] Jack: I know he owns one of these. [1605.5] Jack: That is a boot button. [1608.5] Curry: Maybe he's confused about what the button does. [1612.94] Frank: It's me too. [1614.94] Frank: No problem. [1615.94] Frank: He's trying to turn his quad on. [1617.94] Curry: It's just not what happened. [1619.94] Jack: It's just a power button. [1621.94] Jack: That also is a boot button up there. [1625.94] Jack: I mean, it's dangerously close to these power bits, but that too. [1629.94] Tony: Of course. [1630.94] Tony: It's miles away. [1631.94] Tony: Are you still going? [1632.94] Tony: I'm going back again. [1634.94] Jack: What are the flight controllers have you got? [1639.94] Frank: No, he's done. [1641.94] Frank: He's had enough. [1644.94] Jack: I'm literally just trying to figure it out. [1647.94] Jack: Please. [1648.94] Jack: I'm done mocking you. [1650.94] Jack: I'm just... [1652.94] Tony: I don't know. [1653.94] Tony: I bought a job lot. [1654.94] Tony: 531 grams. [1657.94] Curry: I weigh mine as well, just for measure. [1659.94] Curry: This is a crappy seven-inch quad. [1661.94] Tony: There's props on and a DJI A unit. [1665.94] Curry: 531. [1666.94] Frank: Now we go live to curry. [1668.94] Frank: Time to turn on his scales. [1671.94] Curry: They turn on. [1672.94] Curry: They just won't zero. [1673.94] Curry: Right, here we go. [1674.94] BlueOwl: But is there a button or do you have to short two pads to turn it on? [1677.94] Curry: After I'm going wrong, I'm pressing a button. [1680.94] Curry: 394. [1683.94] Curry: Oh my God. [1684.94] Curry: The turbo on 129 ways. [1687.94] Jack: She fits right in. [1689.94] Jack: I was worried. [1690.94] Jack: I worried that you just started mocking all of us. [1694.94] Jack: It's fantastic. [1696.94] Jack: It's like she's always been here. [1700.94] BlueOwl: I just figured I have to give you some time so that you don't get scared too early. [1707.94] BlueOwl: You don't kick me out too soon. [1711.94] Jack: I do dumb stuff at the time. [1715.94] Frank: Jack standing there with his band hammer, [1717.94] Frank: ready and waiting, watching all of them. [1719.94] Tony: I do dumb stuff all the time. [1721.94] Tony: He's got a sheep on his swimming mic and a dog thing in his background. [1725.94] Jack: I'm just a bear who lives in a cave that just gets poo everywhere. [1732.94] Frank: Face bear 3D. [1734.94] Jack: I know, yeah, basically. [1737.94] Jack: I loved Andy RC's Dave video where they've been playing around with a lot of head tracking. [1747.94] Jack: Andy RC and his favourite anonymous man servant Phil. [1755.57] Curry: You know the thing that got me most about that video, [1758.57] Curry: and this is for our older viewers who are around at mine or Tony's age, [1763.57] Curry: is how crap an action man is these days. [1766.57] Curry: I had one as a kid. [1768.57] Curry: They had articulation here, here, on the wrist. [1770.57] Curry: They had fingers that would do that. [1772.57] Curry: They had eagle eyes so you could move the eyes around. [1775.57] Curry: It's just like a bad sextal. [1778.57] Curry: It's just like that. [1780.57] Curry: It's absolutely stiff and doesn't move. [1782.57] Curry: No wonder he has to cut it up to make it work. [1785.57] Curry: Action man, gone way down. [1787.57] Jack: No, you get your battery voltage in your goggles. [1790.57] Curry: Have I actually got the lightest 7-inch, although I've not got a GoPro on it? [1798.57] Curry: Have he sheen accidentally made a light 7-inch without knowing about it? [1804.57] Tony: Maybe. [1806.57] Tony: I don't know. [1808.57] Jack: Flight tester figured out you can fiberglass foam board, by the way. [1814.57] Jack: Frank, have you seen that? [1817.57] Frank: I think Fraser in the chat has been doing some things along those lines for a while. [1823.57] Frank: Who? [1825.57] Frank: Fraser in the chat, Fraser's team. [1827.57] Jack: Oh, Monroe, Monroe. [1831.01] Tony: Can you turn your washing machine off, please? [1835.01] BlueOwl: It's still going? Okay. [1837.01] BlueOwl: I'll turn it off. I'll just shut up. You guys keep talking. [1842.01] Curry: This is what happens when you're throwing out the Christmas room. [1845.01] Curry: The computer works against you. He wants to be back there. [1848.01] BlueOwl: Yeah, unfortunately, the mic is stupidly close to the fan on this laptop, and it's an old laptop, so... [1855.01] Jack: Have you got any ice packs to help cool the laptop down? [1860.01] BlueOwl: No, I don't think it's going to help. I think nothing's going to help. It's too old. [1865.01] Jack: You could call it by just pouring water directly onto it. [1869.01] BlueOwl: Okay, let me try it. You reckon that beer will work? [1875.01] Curry: It's a waste of beer, but it might work. [1878.01] BlueOwl: Yeah, that's true. That's what I'm asking before I do it. [1883.01] Frank: Where were you? Was it...? Oh, no. I can't remember. No. [1888.01] Curry: Now Frank's gone as well. Where's the dementia? [1891.01] Tony: Oh, that's a place to venture. [1893.01] Tony: If I have to have the dementia thing come up, you have. [1897.01] Jack: Yeah! [1900.01] Jack: Frank, what is it you were thinking about? [1905.01] Frank: About a beer cheaper than water, that I'm sure we were talking about when Dua was first done. [1912.01] Tony: Yep, Czech Republic in Czech. [1915.01] BlueOwl: That is true. I confirm. I check it every time. [1920.01] BlueOwl: The beer is cheaper than bottled water in the shops in Czech Republic, so beautiful country to live in. [1928.01] Jack: You're just like, oh, they've made the decision for me. I've got no choice to be, but be drunk. [1934.01] BlueOwl: That was basically my, you know, decision-making process. [1941.01] Frank: The financially responsible thing to do is to drink lots of beer. [1947.01] BlueOwl: Literally, stay hydrated, folks. [1951.01] Tony: That's brilliant. I think I might move there. [1955.01] Jack: Jack's Pro Tech Tips, Tailspin. [1961.01] Jack: My personal favourite is, if Tony has something that's dismantled, broken, completely dismantled it, violate that warranty as hard as you can. [1975.01] Tony: No, warranty has gone, but you fixed it, to be fair. [1981.01] Tony: Have you got your package that I've sent you? [1984.01] Jack: No, no. [1986.01] Tony: Well, it might be slow because of the time of year. [1990.01] Jack: Yeah, no worries, mate. It's all good. [1993.01] Jack: I've just got, I don't even know what happened to that VTX anyway. [1997.01] Jack: I'll probably just have to buy another VTX. It's completely lost. [2002.01] Jack: I don't, I've been sorting out, I've been writing my Christmas cards and that. [2007.01] Tony: I don't do cards. My mum really likes Christmas cards and I just like, I might do my mum one, but I just can't send Christmas cards. [2018.01] Tony: I don't know. Even birthday cards and stuff. I just don't, I don't like receiving them. I don't like giving them. [2026.01] Frank: Well, I just had it here, folks. [2028.01] Frank: Everyone's sent Tony a Christmas card. [2030.01] Frank: Please don't. [2031.01] Jack: He leaked his address on Instagram. [2035.01] Tony: I've got nothing through the post, so it didn't, it didn't last so long. It didn't last long. [2043.01] Jack: If you need Tony's address, just message me and I will share a screenshot. [2050.01] Frank: You know how they say services where you can buy like a hundred likes on YouTube for like 50p or something. [2057.01] Jack: Is there like a Christmas card version? [2059.01] Jack: Yeah, I've sent you a Christmas card, Tony. [2063.01] Tony: What, this year? [2064.01] Jack: Yeah, mum. I posted it. Yeah, you should get it tomorrow. [2069.01] Jack: It says, do my darling wife. [2073.01] Tony: Probably words. [2074.01] Tony: You know, I've got, I think I kept your one from last year. [2077.01] Tony: You know, when you get, see, this is what I mean about Christmas cards. [2081.01] Tony: You get ones that are sentimental to you and you can't rip up, but then there's ones from Long Lost Aunties and Uncles. [2088.01] Tony: You just go, put it out in the recycling. [2090.01] Tony: And then you get one what says to my darling wife from your husband and stuff. [2096.01] Tony: I can't rip that one off and put it in the right recycling. [2100.01] Jack: I spoke to my mum late last night and I think she's slightly convinced I am actually a homosexual. [2110.01] Jack: My significant other. [2112.01] Jack: So that's going to be an interesting Christmas conversation around the table. [2117.01] Tony: It's like, what's going on? What are you talking about? [2121.01] Jack: So, Lily, if you wouldn't mind, would you mind, you know, coming back and being my beard? [2129.01] Tony: I'm definitely not that way inclined. [2134.01] Jack: I'm going to have a little look through my saved pages and stuff about topics that we can talk about. [2143.01] Frank: The only thing is Richard was saying about the noise of seven inch byblades. [2152.01] Frank: How's on the scale of, yeah, the scale of a gravity to a Thor. [2159.01] Frank: Where's the Tomahawks at? [2163.01] Tony: In the middle, in the middle. [2166.01] Tony: I do like by by by by by by I can't even talk. [2171.01] Tony: I used to I used to have them on my I used to put them on my five inch. [2176.01] Tony: Do you remember I used to fly my five inch fossil twenty six hundred KV on five S. [2185.01] Tony: That used to make a great sound on my plane back in the day. [2191.01] Tony: But yeah, I don't know. Hopefully it'll make a nice sound. [2194.01] Tony: I just want the longer flight time, really. [2198.64] Tony: That's what we're looking for. [2200.64] Tony: I thought you're saying that you can't even last 10 minutes. [2203.64] Frank: Got no stamina. [2205.64] Curry: That's not what he said. [2207.64] Curry: The old man hands aren't working off the 10 minutes. [2219.64] Curry: Just a little bit of arthritis in that claw hand and that one stick. [2223.64] Jack: I've got this right. [2225.64] Jack: And it says is quad noss legal in a race. [2230.64] Jack: So you've got like this little post and it shows people freezing their motors. [2235.64] Jack: Yeah, they freeze motor and you've got like cryo spray. [2239.64] Tony: This is quite interesting. [2241.64] Jack: Yeah, it's got from from a company called KO Technologies. [2245.64] Jack: Cryo has landed USA Europe and Australia now has cryo spray on the ground. [2251.64] Jack: On your KO motor, if your motor has the cryo logo and spray and the black stator, [2261.64] Jack: your motor is fully compatible with cryo spray, spray the point nozzle into the windings [2266.64] Jack: and give a short three to four second burst on all four motors. [2270.64] Jack: Then repeat one more time for max effect. [2273.64] Jack: So what it shows is like this motor and it's all frosted up like how you'd get from, [2279.64] Jack: like, a liquid canister of like, say, nitrogen. [2287.64] Jack: And when you release the pressure, it frosts up. [2290.64] Jack: Is that right, Frank? [2291.64] Jack: Is that how you describe it? [2293.64] Tony: That's how you used to break locks. [2296.64] Jack: You're not, Frank. [2299.64] Curry: Why is this? [2302.4] Curry: Why is this a thing, Frank? [2304.4] Frank: I imagine it's about reducing the temperature to reduce the resistance of the coils [2310.4] Frank: because that's where the kind of the main losses is in the current that you've got producing the torque in the motor. [2318.4] Frank: The actual losses are going to be down to the resistance. [2322.4] Frank: And I imagine the idea is that by reducing the temperature, you're reducing the resistance [2327.4] Frank: and therefore I squared R, you're reducing the power loss, I imagine. [2333.4] Curry: Does this further balance of the motor off potentially? [2336.4] Curry: You've got ice crystals sticking all over the place. [2339.4] Frank: Yeah, I think the ice crystals is probably not a good idea, I think. [2342.4] Jack: Oh, you know, it's waterproof. [2346.4] Frank: Wow. [2347.4] Frank: Yeah, I mean, I think it will survive, but it seems like a bad idea. [2352.4] Frank: Like, you generally want to avoid condensation and they're getting it so cold that it's not condensing, but it's also freezing. [2362.4] Frank: It seems like a bad idea. [2364.4] Frank: Gimme a key. [2366.4] Frank: I mean, I guess if you're looking for all-out performance, if you're the sort of person who's going to save half a gram [2371.4] Frank: by replacing all the screws in your frame with something that's got a hole down the middle, [2376.4] Frank: then maybe the extra three milliseconds round the lap that you get by doing this might make a difference. [2386.4] Jack: But yeah, the fact that they call it NOS, nitrous oxide, it just irritates the **** out of me. [2396.4] Tony: Like, engines run better in cold weather. [2400.4] Tony: Like, you know, my type R will run better on a frosty morning and go faster than a hot day. [2407.4] Tony: Is that the same kind of thing? [2409.4] Jack: Well, that's the thing with engines, is that they might be warm so that everything's expanded and the oil's moving a bit freer. [2421.4] Jack: Obviously, if it gets too hot, it will seize. [2425.4] Jack: But the whole cold thing and it running better is because cold air is more dense. [2431.4] Jack: So you'll be getting more oxygen into the cylinder and therefore the ratio of air to fuel mixture is better. [2442.4] Jack: So you're closer to the, what is it, 14.7 to one or something? [2447.4] Jack: I don't know, stoichiometric bollocks, I don't know. [2450.4] Jack: But that's it. [2452.4] Jack: You have more oxygen and then you can add a bit more fuel and you get a bigger bang. [2457.4] Jack: So it seems better. [2459.4] Jack: But, you know, engines don't really like being cold because everything's all clamped together and, you know, more friction. [2467.4] Jack: So you want the optimum running temperature. [2470.4] Jack: Thank you. [2471.4] Frank: Thank you. [2472.4] Frank: Welcome to the cold. [2474.4] Frank: The cold improvement is from PV equals NRT instead of the electric situation where it's P equals I squared R. [2482.4] Frank: It's perfectly simple. [2484.4] Jack: Frank is way smarter than me because I have no idea what he said. [2489.4] Frank: What did he just say? [2490.4] Jack: I don't understand what he said. [2492.4] Jack: What does P stand for? [2494.4] Frank: Well, that's the thing. [2495.4] Frank: In the two different equations, they mean different things. [2497.4] Frank: In P equals I squared R, P is power dissipated through ohmic losses. [2502.4] Frank: And then in PV equals NRT, the P is pressure because it's the air pressure. [2507.4] Tony: What's your shopping list like? [2512.54] Frank: Who's that to and about? [2514.54] Frank: Frank. [2515.54] Frank: My shopping list? [2516.54] Jack: He doesn't have a shopping list. [2518.54] Jack: His mind's so powerful that he just orders stuff from Google directly. [2526.54] Jack: So anyway, this person who I accidentally flashed their name, I'm very sorry. [2531.54] Jack: So please don't go on his Facebook and take the piss out of him. [2536.54] Jack: But anyway, this young gentleman has got a flight one tattoo. [2540.54] Curry: Now, I think he kind of deserves to have the piss taken out of him, surely. [2546.54] Jack: We're not advocating bullying here, but why would you want that? [2554.54] Jack: And on your neck. [2557.54] Tony: Terrible, that is. [2558.54] Frank: And this is coming from someone who's repeatedly talked about having what tattooed on him? [2566.82] Jack: I don't know. [2567.82] Jack: What was it? [2569.82] Tony: I think it was across your butt cheeks, wasn't it? [2572.82] Curry: Yes, you let us turn it out on someone's butt. [2574.82] Curry: I can't remember whose. [2575.82] Curry: It's Tony's or Jack's. [2577.82] Tony: An LDO on your left cheek was LD and then the O was... [2586.82] Jack: No, I don't think I'd ever get another tattoo really ever again. [2594.82] Tony: Well, I definitely wouldn't get flight one or kiss or anything. [2600.82] Curry: How much would I have to pay you since you're a fan now? [2604.82] Tony: I'm just saying, go and check it out, people. [2609.82] Tony: I'm not getting a tattoo of emu flight on me. [2613.82] Curry: I don't quite. [2614.82] Curry: I mean, it's a bit like if you're talking about getting flight one or something there, [2618.82] Curry: you want to step away from having like Joshua Bardwell or LDO tattooed across your neck. [2624.82] Curry: It's strange. [2626.82] Jack: If anyone gets LDO tattooed on them, I will reimburse you with whatever it costs. [2634.82] Jack: And tell Frank to help you find psychiatric therapy. [2642.82] Jack: Any views expressed by any guest on this show or personal, I may not reflect the views of others. [2648.82] Curry: We thought we were on safe ground because only our season are here, but we're just going off on tangents. [2653.82] Jack: It's me. I do apologize. It's me for bringing this stuff up. [2658.82] Jack: I'm very sorry. I don't mean anywhere. [2661.82] Curry: So is anybody going to get any flying in over the next couple of weeks is the big question. [2667.82] Jack: Everywhere is level three. [2669.82] Jack: Of course. [2671.82] Tony: I'm going to fly again in Edenbridge tomorrow. [2679.82] Tony: If you wanted to meet me, Richard Warwick, because I saw you fly exactly where I flew today. [2686.82] Tony: I'll be there tomorrow. [2688.82] Tony: There you go. That's where I'm flying tomorrow. [2691.82] Curry: Try not to lick each other. [2693.82] Curry: Yeah, we stand apart. [2697.82] Jack: Okay. [2700.82] Tony: I know what that is, Jack. [2702.82] Tony: It's fun. [2707.83] Tony: You have to go to Wales, then. [2709.83] Jack: Any views expressed on. [2714.83] Jack: May not reflect the views. [2716.83] Jack: Sorry, Karen. [2718.83] Frank: There's there was some other news. [2723.83] Frank: With the drone corridor that's been announced. [2728.83] Curry: This is you mentioned this 15 minutes ago. [2732.83] Curry: What's this all about? [2734.83] Frank: The drone corridor is being set up. [2738.83] Frank: It's going to be like a stretch. [2740.83] Frank: I think it's up in Oxford somewhere. [2741.83] Frank: So probably somewhere quite close to the Amazon place, I imagine. [2745.83] Frank: Where they're going to start allowing beveloss and autonomous flights for certain people. [2753.83] Frank: And it's going to be kind of mixed use between unmanned and manned aircraft all using the same corridor. [2760.83] Curry: So we can just go up there and fly beveloss. [2763.83] Frank: I don't think we can. [2764.83] Frank: I think these people who have the specific permissions can. [2767.83] Curry: The ones that have paid the government lots of money. [2769.83] Frank: Yes. [2771.83] Tony: Well, that's all that then. [2773.83] Frank: Yeah, that's how that works. [2774.83] Tony: That's how I normally get away with it. [2777.83] Frank: Yeah, they've just got a Tony there with just lots of 50 pound notes. [2781.83] Curry: Someone turns up. [2782.83] Curry: There you go. [2783.83] Curry: You didn't see anything here. [2785.83] Tony: I think this year is a 50. [2788.83] Tony: Mum's a word. [2790.83] Tony: Normally helps. [2792.83] Tony: That's how we flee the castle. [2796.83] Tony: Anyway, not for that. [2801.14] Curry: I'm still I'm not I'm not suggesting anyone should do this, of course. [2805.14] Curry: But if the Amazon drone delivery takes off, how much fun would it be to form little groups of quad patrols [2812.14] Curry: and basically knock them out of the sky for spare parts? [2815.14] Curry: Just just for fun. [2819.14] Curry: I think anyone do. [2822.14] Curry: We've read it. [2824.14] Curry: I don't know. [2825.14] Curry: Build it. [2826.14] Curry: Build other things like my legs has gone wrong. [2827.14] Curry: Let me just knock this Amazon drone out the sky. [2829.14] Curry: I'm sure we'll find some parts. [2831.14] Jack: What would they use, though? [2833.84] Jack: Surely be like all long range bespoke. [2836.84] Jack: Yeah, not bespoke proprietary. [2839.84] Jack: Is that right? [2840.84] Jack: You do. [2841.84] Curry: You don't want out the sky and have a proper look at it. [2843.84] Curry: Would you? [2845.84] Curry: I think we've got a team. [2848.84] Jack: I mean, yeah, loads of people be like, Curry, you son of a bitch. [2854.84] Jack: I'm in. [2858.84] Curry: Oceans 14. [2859.84] Curry: The weirdest, the weirdest film ever where we just knock things out of the sky. [2865.47] Tony: Yeah, I'd be up for stealing stuff. [2870.47] Curry: We need to read the disclaimer again. [2874.47] BlueOwl: That's a very honest one. [2877.47] Jack: Anyone on this show, a person may not. [2883.47] Tony: I don't live near Gatwick. [2885.47] Jack: We're all idiots. [2888.47] Frank: There was the Guardian put out a special kind of one-off podcast about the Gatwick drone, [2899.47] Frank: or not drone, depending on who you believe. [2902.47] Frank: It definitely wasn't there. [2905.47] Frank: Where they kind of speak to lots of people, including a couple of people that you might know [2910.47] Frank: from the drone community in the UK, Ian Hudson and Eddie Mitchell. [2918.47] Frank: By the end of it, they were like, the government says there definitely was a drone, [2924.47] Frank: but everyone else says there probably wasn't. [2927.47] Frank: Who's to believe? [2930.47] Frank: It's kind of interesting. [2934.47] Frank: That's gone. [2937.47] Frank: The final report from the police was that there was definitely at least two drones. [2944.47] Tony: What flew for four hours a piece in the night and in wet weather? [2949.47] Frank: I don't think that's what they said. [2951.47] Frank: They definitely at some point were drones. [2955.47] Curry: I think the problem was that there were some drones at some point. [2958.47] Curry: Yeah, there were Gatwick drones. [2962.47] Tony: Yeah, Gatwick have their own drones. [2964.47] Tony: They scare off birds and stuff like that. [2966.47] Frank: Gatwick have their own drones and also there was the police brought along their drones [2971.47] Frank: and the other drones. [2973.47] Tony: It was just a prime fest. [2975.47] Tony: It was just like a meetup at Gatwick. [2980.47] Frank: One Christmas a couple of years ago. [2983.47] Curry: It was much like any other meetup where they're trying to do some chase footage. [2986.47] Curry: Where are they? I can't find them. [2989.47] Tony: I'm in the building. [2992.47] Curry: Which runway? What were the planes on it? [2998.47] Curry: Richard. [3002.47] Curry: We saw you on TV. [3005.47] Curry: You might be suspicious still on top of a van with goggles on. [3009.47] Tony: I can't believe I saw you on the runway. [3012.47] Frank: Was it Sky or was it BBC Euron? I can't remember. [3016.47] Frank: I think we see. [3018.47] BlueOwl: Seriously? I don't know the story. [3022.47] Tony: There's some baseball somewhere. [3027.47] Tony: I'll share it with you later. [3029.47] Tony: If I can find it on my Facebook or I'll find it and share it. [3035.47] Jack: I've never been so embarrassed for him in all my life. [3039.47] Tony: I was sticking up for our community, I'll have you know. [3043.47] Jack: Oh my God. [3045.47] Jack: Yeah, we're all nuts. [3048.47] Jack: We stand on top of our vans and shoutings at the sky. [3054.47] Jack: We stand on top of our vans and shoutings all lies and the government of evil. [3061.47] Tony: They knew it was real and they looked like a demented lass. [3071.47] Tony: I'm not even going to come back for the Christmas. [3076.47] Frank: I think he was quite lucky not to get arrested, to be honest. [3080.47] Frank: I mean there was that couple that did the terrible crime of owning a helicopter. [3085.47] Tony: To be fair, I wouldn't have got 50k. [3090.47] Jack: Yeah, but he didn't, did he? [3092.47] Tony: Well, he probably got 25, but still. [3095.47] Jack: I think the other thing is that you were there, they checked your van and all you had was window cleaning stuff. [3104.82] Tony: That is exactly what I was doing Richard. [3108.82] Frank: Van surfing with FPV goggles on lol. [3114.82] Jack: What did the roster say to you anyway? [3117.82] Jack: What did they question you? [3119.82] Tony: Caroline, Tyler has only been watching his podcast for about two weeks and she already knows. [3125.82] Curry: She's got the hang of it already. [3128.82] Frank: Totally sticking up for us, we're all doomed. [3133.82] Tony: Oh my god, can I leave? It's been five years. [3137.82] Tony: I've done enough. [3139.82] Jack: It's time to put the old dogs down in here. [3143.82] Tony: Me and Toni. [3145.82] Tony: Yeah, no one seems to f***ing like me. I'm just going to go forever. [3149.82] Jack: Oh Toni. [3150.82] Tony: Toni without you now. [3152.82] Tony: That's a shame. [3153.82] Jack: I know. [3154.82] Tony: Toni without months. [3156.82] Jack: I know you're the only one who's seen the outside world. [3159.82] Tony: I have to go out to earn a living. [3162.82] Jack: Strong enough, the immune system. [3165.82] Tony: Yeah. [3166.82] Jack: I don't believe the government's lies of Covid. [3169.82] Jack: I don't believe it. [3172.82] Frank: The views of others not in the views expressed. [3177.82] Frank: Yes, not. [3178.82] Jack: That was facetious sarcasm and I'm allowed to do that for a comedic value. [3184.82] Tony: Literally, let's end on an hour dead on quickly. [3188.82] Tony: Look at the time. [3189.82] Tony: Let's just end it. [3190.82] Tony: I want to end. [3191.82] Tony: I'm going. [3192.82] Tony: End it, Frank. [3193.82] Tony: Dead on one hour. [3196.82] Frank: All right, Jack. [3197.82] Frank: Do you want to call us out then? [3198.82] Jack: Guys, thank you so much for listening. [3202.82] Jack: Thank you so much for the donations. [3204.82] Jack: And thank you so much for all our Patreons. [3208.82] Jack: Love you guys. [3209.82] Jack: Tonight, we've been joined by our little Toni. [3215.82] Jack: For sure. [3216.82] BlueOwl: Quick, hurry up. [3219.82] Jack: The wonderful blue owl. [3221.82] BlueOwl: Bye everyone. [3222.82] BlueOwl: See you next time. [3223.82] BlueOwl: Five seconds. [3224.82] Jack: Andrew slash Frank. [3225.82] BlueOwl: Three, two, one. [3226.82] BlueOwl: Just end it. [3227.82] Jack: First call. [3228.82] Tony: Bye. [3229.82] Jack: Telemetry lost.
