[472.5] Aries: Not lipos, but lie on sale batteries for quads

[478.34] Aries: You know that that three to five minute flight time that usual people get with uh, lipos
[485.06] Aries: I'm trying to breach 15 16 minutes with a lie on pack
[490.18] Aries: Just to get well on and five inch or a long range or
[494.74] Aries: Uh six inch so i'm currently testing it with the project 399 steez
[500.42] Aries: um, and what i'm actually using right now is
[504.5] Aries: Early days testing, but it's this guy here

[514.66] Aries: 3000 milliamp hour battery. Yeah, so this this is a 300 gram pack
[519.86] Aries: Okay with uh, I think it's a burst of 20 amp output. So it's not for like mental

[529.78] Aries: Uh that type of scenario, so I did a test um a couple of weeks back in my local park
[536.02] Aries: The circumference of the park is about 0.78 of a kilometer. Um
[542.58] Aries: Ended up being 17 laps about 13.08 kilometers before the the pack was

[551.62] Tony: What is it success 3000? Yeah success
[555.14] Tony: I need to buy one and then about 50 quid ain't they yeah 55 bucks. Yep
[560.02] Tony: 55 bucks. Yeah, I think mine was getting 15
[564.66] Tony: 16 minutes on his he put two together and got a flight on for over half hour. Yeah. Yeah, definitely. Definitely

[622.18] Tony: Isn't it you normally sort of come in and land at with a lipo?

[644.26] Aries: The pack the pack does get a little warm, but you know, I was I wasn't hauling
[649.3] Aries: Ass or anything like that. I was doing about 40 50 kilometers an hour
[655.06] Aries: It's it's pretty decent um for what it is. I mean there's a

[662.42] Aries: Uh lion rc you don't know if you've heard of them or not, but they do higher amp output

[670.9] Aries: specifically for longer flight times
[673.94] Aries: But the they're having trouble shipping to the uk

[683.3] Frank: Charging like like do you have I mean, I guess there's you know a separate program and everything in the charger

[693.06] Frank: For charging or something or like i'm just trying to work out. What's what's the catch? I feel like there must be a catch

[705.7] Curry: So if you want to go mental like let's fall for it all the time, you can't yes, exactly

[718.1] Aries: Um, unless you've got lightweight quad obviously but um typical
[724.18] Aries: Quote unquote long range quads are around the six to
[728.42] Aries: 900 gram range really you're not going to be able to lift
[732.74] Aries: Or pull yourself out of a dive. I'm using that battery
[736.1] Aries: But you know, it's early days, isn't it? You know get some higher amp output packs
[742.9] Aries: In the mix and you know competitors to lipos

[748.98] Tony: Yeah, I mean that's the only thing you'd want it on a long range. You wouldn't want to stick it on a five inch

[2124.74] Frank: Were clearly of you know, you can see it's the police helicopter
[2129.14] Frank: With a bright red light on and you can just see the sort of the yellow outline of where the cockpit is

[2139.62] Curry: I'm an expert at this and I can say that's definitely a drone and frank you could see quite clearly
[2144.74] Curry: On the flight report that that was a helicopter hovering exactly above where he was saying. That was a drone
