[456.7] BOTGRINDER: Well Canada snuck in on a freight train because they wouldn't let me in without a passport

[460.7] BOTGRINDER: I wrote all around.
[461.7] BOTGRINDER: That was my main method of transportation since the late 90s was just riding freight
[466.7] BOTGRINDER: trains around doing doing cool stuff.
[468.7] Jack: How do you get off them though.
[471.7] Jack: If you go down or.
[473.7] BOTGRINDER: You wait till it stops or goes slow enough to jump off back then.
[477.7] BOTGRINDER: You know I was I was in my early 20s.
[479.7] BOTGRINDER: So it long as it's going about 10 miles an hour it's pretty easy.
[482.7] BOTGRINDER: You just jump off.
[483.7] BOTGRINDER: If you're going too fast when you jump off you just kind of tuck into a ball.
[486.7] BOTGRINDER: And you roll with it.
[487.7] BOTGRINDER: Nowadays I would break every bone in my body doing it like that.

[492.7] BOTGRINDER: You know if you're lucky be next to like some grass or something soft and not just ballast.
[497.7] BOTGRINDER: But a lot of times it was just the train rocks that you're jumping off into.
[503.7] Curry: I'm finding out some of the movies were actually true and you can just jump on the train.
[507.7] Curry: Are these the sort of like hundred two hundred carriage ones.
[510.7] Curry: So they have a sort of slow start up and they you can sort of run along a quarter of ten minutes before you go in.
[516.7] BOTGRINDER: See we do it when it's stopped right.
[518.7] BOTGRINDER: So there's yard clearance of a freight train leaving a train yard or going into a train yard.
[522.7] BOTGRINDER: It has to stop so they can make sure there's room on the tracks for them to go on and you just get on.
[527.7] BOTGRINDER: Then you wait till it's about to.
[529.7] BOTGRINDER: There's like an entrance and now trends you start to learn where all the spots are.
[532.7] BOTGRINDER: So in the United States you just go to the outbound yard.
[535.7] BOTGRINDER: There's usually trains all lined up.
[536.7] BOTGRINDER: You figure out which one you're supposed to get on these wait for it to be about to leave.
[539.7] BOTGRINDER: Then you go get on it and sometimes we'll have a railroad cop drive around full flashlight thing.
[544.7] BOTGRINDER: But he does that a hundred times a night.
[546.7] BOTGRINDER: So he's not like hardcore looking for you.
[548.7] BOTGRINDER: He's just like okay.
[550.7] BOTGRINDER: Then you go about your about today right somewhere.
[554.7] Tony: I think Stephen's having problems.

[559.7] BOTGRINDER: I got I got these teardrops for all the people that I killed and I got my brother's name because he killed himself.

[644.7] BOTGRINDER: So anything that came up on Google then I saw and I was like oh wow.

[690.7] BOTGRINDER: And everybody told me so many people be like you shouldn't get that dude.

[702.7] Tony: Well I must say watching your videos over the years and your your flying's improved so

[734.7] Curry: What I watched was where you were trying to break your distance record and go and be on
[739.7] Curry: 3K.
[740.7] Curry: And I think the story was I was going to install a Rush FPV VTX but I couldn't be bothered.

[749.7] Curry: And then someone else's like Wi-Fi drone was there and the video was like really bad.

[760.7] Curry: I mean the battery was alarming and the video was going all the way and then it completely
[765.7] Curry: lost signal and you had to do a rescue mode for a while.
[767.7] Curry: It was just fantastic to watch but lots of energy.
[770.7] Curry: I think energy is a really important thing in in watching somebody make some really good

[778.7] BOTGRINDER: I've had a few people offer to help me fix my long range issues and I've heard people

[789.7] BOTGRINDER: So no I want my thing to barely fly so it would be an interesting video.
[793.7] Curry: No I think people love they love the failures because more people come to YouTube and like
[799.7] Curry: well sometimes that people come looking for answers but at least if they can see it goes
[803.7] Curry: wrong for everybody they don't feel so isolated and in having problems.
[806.7] BOTGRINDER: Yeah especially with FPV you want to know other people are miserable too.
[811.7] BOTGRINDER: You want to be suffering to have ESCs fry or whatever else.

[840.7] BOTGRINDER: But I want to I want to make an actual Taser drone.

[1563.7] BOTGRINDER: And you know, the company had sued DJI and they just string out a court

[1567.7] BOTGRINDER: And it's like the Phantom was a good example of that.

[1572.7] BOTGRINDER: It was just like, no, this is our design.
