Thank you to Carlos campos art folk now Sam Dharma [19.4] Frank: Mikey dread [21.2] Frank: On with the show [24.84] Stephen: With us this week everyone's favorite curry kitten [58.06] Curry: Hello, I thought Jack was doing the interest look he's not doing the intro Jack [65.02] Stephen: Hello, I was everybody's favorite and everyone's new favorite Zorro [72.7] Stephen: And myself Steven hello everyone [76.7] Jack: Curry disclaimer [79.1] Curry: Steven press the button press button any of you is expressed by any guests on this show a [83.78] Curry: Personal and may not reflect the views of others and anything about [87.38] Curry: Legal aspects of stuff. We don't know consult a lawyer or something. Thank you [92.58] Curry: Safety notice do not be on fire. Oh, don't be on fire. Yeah rule zero [98.74] Jack: Yeah, do not leave lipos unattended [101.62] Stephen: So this week we are joined by Zorro who's got a pretty interesting story does f fpv does art [109.34] Stephen: It's had an interesting journey into the hobby Zorro. Do you want to tell people a little bit about yourself? [115.06] Stephen: Well, everyone my name is sorry [119.69] Zoroe: I make for the past like four years of you making videos on YouTube [125.01] Zoroe: But I wanted to kind of make more like light-hearted [129.33] Zoroe: outside of [131.01] Zoroe: normal drone stuff, so [134.77] Zoroe: Yeah, I've been making videos like you are I've been doing like graffiti since 93 [139.25] Zoroe: And now I do like canvases and whatnot and I'm a designer and I love my cat [149.17] Jack: That video of where you gave your mom some art and she didn't like it that broke my heart [156.13] Zoroe: When I gave my mom my canvas if you laughed at hardest. Oh [160.97] Zoroe: Yeah, no [162.49] Zoroe: Yeah [164.57] Jack: My god, my heart bleeds [169.97] Stephen: From art into a fee because on the face of it like you imagine they might have a happening near each other [175.29] Stephen: But then there's not an obvious overlap. So how did you discover fpv? So I used to I loved RC cars [181.85] Zoroe: It's like I used to put together. I don't know if you guys remember the grasshopper if you have it over there like [188.09] Zoroe: Yeah, you sell this kit. You know me. Yeah, yeah, I don't it. So I've been into that forever [195.17] Zoroe: and then I worked at Pandora and [197.77] Zoroe: my [198.97] Zoroe: So I used to take an RC car to work and put like a GoPro on it [203.09] Zoroe: And then like go down the hallways and like record, you know, cuz that was not really a thing [208.61] Zoroe: And then my boss is like, oh you like RC stuff. You're like I fly [212.93] Zoroe: fpv and then I for me drones were like really I [218.41] Zoroe: Didn't know what fpv was. So for me drones was like, you know the Mavic style type experience more sedate experience [225.05] Zoroe: Yeah, yeah, and I was like, I know [227.93] Zoroe: So, um, he let me [230.77] Zoroe: Try his like tiny whoop. You got a tiny whoop and if you win a conference room in the office and [237.77] Zoroe: She let me try it and I was like, I mean I don't quite get it like goggles whatever but then I got bored [243.53] Zoroe: I was like, let me try this fpv thing. You know when I got [247.97] Zoroe: You know goggles and the radio and like a pre-built I think it was like [253.77] Zoroe: The oh my god [256.05] Zoroe: What was it the 250 something? It was like really old like in this case that came with it [261.61] Zoroe: and [263.17] Zoroe: Then I just started kind of like flying I kind of I don't know [266.57] Zoroe: It's weird also because it's the reason why I started making videos [270.29] Zoroe: I it just gave me a reason to kind of like express myself and it just went on a viewpoint like yeah [277.01] Stephen: Yeah, an interesting viewpoint to see the world by [280.41] Curry: Are you doing some of the drone stuff professionally now because I saw you when you were talking about doing a shoot and getting [287.09] Curry: Devoured by mosquitoes and and poisoning oak and stuff. So is that is that a big proportion of your time? [293.65] Zoroe: so [294.89] Zoroe: last year almost about this time I [298.85] Zoroe: I couldn't take working anymore. Like I've been designing for like 20 years and I had like I don't know [306.33] Zoroe: I would be creative. Yeah, like [309.29] Zoroe: And I went through this like really weird period and I kind of like put a pause on everything [318.09] Zoroe: Sorry, what was the question? [320.93] Curry: It's about your commercial flying [326.61] Zoroe: What of the people I used to work with his wife works in production for like PBS and Salesforce and whatever right and [334.25] Zoroe: She needed a drone pilot and her husband knew that I flew because I would fly like in the office and stuff [339.57] Zoroe: So they they hooked us up. So while I took a break, she's like hey [344.01] Zoroe: We need someone in like two weeks. Can you can you fly for like a broadcast like documentary? [350.57] Zoroe: You know, it's like yeah, I'll do it [352.05] Zoroe: So I rushed on and I took my 107 test I studied for like two days like non-stop like day night [358.65] Zoroe: And then the next day I went and took my 107 [361.77] Zoroe: I passed it and then I've been doing like commercial drone stuff for like about a year now [367.45] Stephen: Wow, so is that like a main income or is it that plus the art? Yeah, I mean, yeah that plus the art [376.01] Zoroe: Sounds like I don't want to live man. I mean it it is but I like I [382.65] Zoroe: Made a lot of money in my regular job and there's no way to be a bit of a gap [388.69] Zoroe: Look, yeah. Yeah, like I would have to fly a drone like every single day and you know, so I'm [394.97] Zoroe: This past year has been great and I've been like focusing on [399.25] Zoroe: what I want to do and like cultivated all these like little things happening, but [405.85] Zoroe: Like I could just like switch over real quick and like bring my life back together [410.73] Stephen: It's like I've been living like two days a week of UX design and be like that bills are paid bills are paid [417.01] Zoroe: It's all good. And then yeah, yeah, yeah, so I definitely make me appreciate [423.29] Zoroe: People that only do that for living like if you have to rely on your heart or whatever [429.41] Zoroe: It's it's so hard man. It's crazy [432.09] Stephen: So you've really got to travel at the drop of a hat as well [434.57] Stephen: It's like you just don't know where you're gonna be at any time because you could be a thousand miles away tomorrow [439.49] Zoroe: Yeah, and what's funny is when once I started getting to know TV and you know making videos whatever [445.49] Zoroe: I guess the next step was like to do it professionally and [450.25] Zoroe: It's not the way that I imagined it isn't quite as glamorous as in reality [456.21] Zoroe: Like I imagine like you're on sand and he's like super good [459.53] Zoroe: it is really cool actually is a really cool experience, but you're you're part of the crew like you're [465.17] Zoroe: Lugging your stuff up to wherever you have to go [468.05] Zoroe: Like you have to be ready on a drop of a hat like, you know, get the shot of the director once [473.89] Zoroe: It's just like a lot of [476.09] Zoroe: It's a lot of pressure, which is actually the fun part. I think the adrenaline kind of like part but [481.41] Zoroe: it's also a lot of traveling and eating, you know crappy food because you're [488.41] Zoroe: You're out. You know I mean and like waiting around like especially for my stuff like I'll wait for [495.37] Zoroe: six hours [497.37] Zoroe: Like fly for like two minutes [499.77] Stephen: Is it difficult to guess what the other person wants to see cuz most people they're freestyling [504.25] Stephen: They're just filming what they want to see what they think is fun [507.37] Stephen: But if you're on a shoot you've got to imagine what someone else wants you to film and that could be completely different for them [513.65] Stephen: From what is the the fun and natural maneuvers you might do totally. How do you do that? It's it's it's extremely hard because [522.17] Zoroe: Sometimes they want a thing that's like really [527.89] Zoroe: Outside of the realm of possibilities, you know, they're just imagining like oh, you know you come from [533.25] Stephen: Whatever. Yeah, you can go and like power loop and then go straight in through the window [536.85] Stephen: It won't crash and you'll go down there and then the other window and then your power loop that all in one shot [541.61] Stephen: Right. Yeah, no, that's gonna take like a hundred props to do [545.93] Zoroe: Yeah [547.25] Zoroe: Yeah, I would go to shoot. They're like, can you can you get the be bridge from here? [551.97] Zoroe: I know it's like if she was just going like miles away [559.97] Zoroe: But I guess if you don't know you don't know right, I mean we know my drones because that's what we do [565.73] Zoroe: But if you didn't, you know, you would just [568.21] Zoroe: Know sure you can all powerful and visible force [572.25] Stephen: I remember [574.25] Jack: I remember on like Tommy. Well Tommy's latest videos on deadly catch. Yeah him to like [581.77] Jack: fly backwards and pan out and it's like [585.69] Jack: Yeah, we angle the GoPro so, you know, but it doesn't work like that, you know, right? [592.73] Stephen: I can fly backwards, but I have to like goes down at the same time. Yeah [598.25] Stephen: So long [600.97] Zoroe: It's actually made me appreciate like dual control drone set up a lot [607.33] Zoroe: Like it makes more sense to have like the inspire, right? [611.13] Zoroe: You can have like two pilots one's flying the drone and the other one's controlling the camera [616.13] Zoroe: So you have like way more control because trying to do everything at once like as a pilot [622.37] Zoroe: Especially because I also fly like a maverick or for work [626.81] Zoroe: like that type of a drone [629.97] Zoroe: And I don't know just have limited capabilities [633.81] Stephen: what's your take on this whole like let's slap the most expensive camera we can on like an [640.69] Stephen: Octo it seems to be kind of a trend right now. Everyone's going to the come on day [645.73] Stephen: Modo served and the red and I just saw a guy here who in the UK who's designing like a naked black magic [652.93] Stephen: Pocket for yeah, which is on the lower end but still quite an expensive camera compared to a GoPro [658.29] Stephen: Everyone's gone nuts for this stuff [661.21] Zoroe: This but the saucy you get are pretty amazing [665.85] Zoroe: Mmm, it's just I don't know if you have like [670.01] Zoroe: ten twenty thousand [672.45] Zoroe: Dollars worth of equipment like flying. Oh, that's [676.69] Stephen: You have a proper proper lens instead of something that's like half an inch thick. That's just right [682.65] Stephen: cell phone camera pretty much [686.17] Curry: Does flying commercial and and I saw some of your videos that sort of suggested like I can't rip as good as I used to [694.05] Curry: Yes, I keep worrying about damaging my drones. Does it also take away? [698.37] Curry: The enjoyment you get from regular flying or is because once you make sort of a hobby a bit of a job [704.01] Curry: Then did the two sort of merge and is a crossover there or can you still have fun basically? [710.81] Zoroe: Now doing it professionally [713.33] Zoroe: stole my [716.05] Zoroe: Excitement or happiness for flying like it totally killed it. It completely killed a [722.73] Zoroe: 100% like I didn't want to fly at all not only because I don't want to break my stuff [727.61] Zoroe: But it's like I don't know it it's true. It actually made me think of like how excuse the [734.65] Zoroe: comparison by like how like porn stars might be where [738.61] Zoroe: You're doing this thing all day long and like it probably robbed you from like enjoying it. Otherwise, you know me [746.01] Zoroe: And same with doing it professionally with drones man. Oh god. It's just I'm seriously [753.81] Zoroe: If it wasn't actually for me going out and flying with like my friend Ian or like getting like kind of back into it [760.25] Zoroe: I think I would have probably just lost it a few times. I mean, they're like just not caring about it anymore. Yeah [767.21] Stephen: How do you salvage that? [770.17] Stephen: Have you found a way? [772.57] Zoroe: My channel really helps me like stay in line [777.69] Zoroe: because like people expect certain things and [781.49] Zoroe: I [783.65] Zoroe: Know that I'm gonna have to [786.49] Zoroe: Slide around at some point, you know, I mean like it's just I don't know [789.41] Stephen: You know when you rediscover ways to make it fun though [791.89] Stephen: Does your channel like reminds you that it can be fun or does the channel just this guy that's knocking on your door saying? [797.33] Zoroe: Do another video do another video both? Yeah. Yeah, it can be an egging thing. Do another video [805.17] Jack: For sure, but eventually I get back into it. Yeah. Oh, are you? Yeah, are you actually not creative or [813.53] Jack: Is the pressure of like what you do for work and having the YouTube [819.93] Jack: force you down that road because like I [824.81] Jack: Yeah, I struggle with that a bit [829.05] Zoroe: Okay [832.85] Jack: Thank you, that's not a good thing [837.33] Zoroe: What? Oh, yeah now, but he was [840.69] Zoroe: A character for a long time. Yeah, he turned a little dark towards the end [846.33] Zoroe: So so for me, okay [848.25] Zoroe: A lot of a lot of people that have YouTube channels can put on their YouTube personality and you know do whatever [855.93] Zoroe: But for me is like I'm being myself and I don't have that kind of [861.53] Zoroe: like [863.25] Zoroe: Facade, you know mean of like a YouTube [866.45] Stephen: Video you and it's just me. Yeah, I'm you. Yeah, it's it's me [871.45] Zoroe: being silly and having fun and that's always like the best if I try to go outside of that and [878.89] Zoroe: Force myself. It's never good. Like it just doesn't it doesn't resonate [884.25] Zoroe: I don't feel good about it. You know, I mean, so I have to be into it to actually do it [890.41] Zoroe: I can't just you know put on my [893.77] Zoroe: My makeup and my wigs and just go on [900.13] Stephen: That's interesting do you think that comes from kind of [903.17] Stephen: Having artists the place where you started out rather than trying to be an influencer and trying to have that persona [909.49] Stephen: Like I think maybe a bunch of people do [912.49] Zoroe: so I think that [915.05] Zoroe: although first of all like drone [917.85] Zoroe: Video our industry if you were to call it, it's really small like some of the most popular [925.49] Zoroe: drone [927.73] Zoroe: FPV pilots or you know, even drone pilots [930.73] Zoroe: Wouldn't have the same [933.05] Zoroe: Would be a lot bigger if their channel was about anything now [937.21] Zoroe: Drones just kind of like makes the audience a lot smaller as it is [942.25] Stephen: If they were just playing the latest video game they'd have an audience that's like a thousand times larger exactly. Yeah. Yeah, so [952.53] Zoroe: I know we're going to that. I totally forgot again, but [959.09] Jack: limits [960.69] Jack: like [961.73] Jack: You know sort of shoot she warned you enough into a box. I'm guessing. Oh, yeah [968.57] Zoroe: I [970.57] Zoroe: Don't know. I don't think so because it's a part of me that [976.61] Zoroe: Brings out I don't know exit my channels are around more of like the drone thing [981.09] Zoroe: Although I do art on it sometimes I do whatever it's kind of like the cornerstone. So I always have to go back to [989.45] Zoroe: Doing drone stuff, which is good. I think it's great and it was just me [994.17] Stephen: You also describe yourself as a psychonauts [997.61] Stephen: Yeah, do you want to kind of unpick what that means to you? [1001.69] Zoroe: um, I used to rave in the early 90s, I got into like rave parties here in [1009.13] Zoroe: the Bay Area [1012.49] Zoroe: It's an experience right with a lot of [1015.65] Zoroe: Substances and mind-expanding things so I've always been into that for a long time [1021.89] Zoroe: Then took a long break of like maybe like a decade of not doing any psychedelics or anything [1028.25] Zoroe: And because towards the end I had a long [1032.57] Zoroe: Addiction problem was like methamphetamine like in the back in those days because one thing went to another and I was like [1040.25] Zoroe: super skinny and homeless and [1042.29] Zoroe: Like a horrible like I was a totally different person that you would not want to know that guy [1048.89] Zoroe: But so I've always been into to the kind of like, you know substance thing and then [1057.01] Zoroe: after a long time I [1060.25] Zoroe: Any some life changes like I got a divorce like a whole bunch of things that kind of reset who I was [1066.25] Zoroe: I mean [1068.17] Zoroe: Then I saw like oh, you know [1070.37] Zoroe: people are doing mushrooms to help depression and people are there me it's becoming more of a of a [1077.13] Zoroe: More of an accepted thing is not so underground anymore. So not so nice anymore as well. Yeah, exactly [1083.69] Zoroe: Yeah, yeah, like so stupidly demonized as well [1087.73] Zoroe: So for me, I was like, you know, like maybe I'll just try a little bit, you know [1092.89] Zoroe: just to see what just like and then I just like I got back into [1097.89] Zoroe: into being able to like explore that part without being [1101.33] Zoroe: Because my point of the addiction thing was I was also doing like psychedelics and whatnot [1108.33] Zoroe: And things kind of like my trips started getting dark and weird like towards the end [1113.01] Zoroe: So when I stopped for like 10 years, that was my last memory of psychedelics was like really bad crazy trips [1120.05] Zoroe: And I was like a little weirded out to try it again, but then I used it back in there [1123.97] Zoroe: I was like, oh man, just freaking amazing. Like I feel so much better like my brain works better [1128.89] Zoroe: and [1130.17] Zoroe: then I started [1132.17] Zoroe: Trying like DMT [1134.61] Zoroe: And that was like crazy. You guys go to my channel. I have this [1139.41] Zoroe: my most popular videos about [1142.01] Zoroe: DMT it was [1144.17] Zoroe: Yeah, I just I love the idea of [1150.65] Zoroe: Like who you really are, I mean I don't want to get into this cuz I'm gonna go on forever but [1155.61] Zoroe: We're in this situation and it's interesting. Yeah. Yeah [1158.49] Zoroe: I mean, we're we don't know who we are right as far as like humans like we don't know where we came from [1163.29] Zoroe: We don't know where we're going. We're floating in space on [1166.81] Zoroe: You know on earth this thing and we don't know if anybody else is out there [1170.01] Zoroe: It's like a it's like a movie scenario like a black mirror type of right? [1175.21] Zoroe: You know, I mean, it's like a strange scenario [1177.53] Zoroe: But we're trying these like we all have made our lives like our day-to-day and totally [1183.01] Zoroe: Don't think about that. Like nobody's freaking out. Like why are we here? [1187.37] Zoroe: You know me so for one way is that explore that as they say? Yes [1192.25] Zoroe: so for me exploring that I think it's uh, I [1196.61] Zoroe: Think these like who we really are. We we come from a different place [1200.29] Zoroe: We're here on earth for a while and then we go back to wherever and for me that is really interesting [1206.61] Zoroe: And I love exploring [1209.13] Zoroe: Outside of like just this is like thinking about thinking [1213.65] Stephen: exactly. Yeah, I [1216.29] Stephen: was gonna yeah razor that there's the kind of specter of fpv and [1221.13] Stephen: maybe [1222.85] Stephen: Kind of issues and the way that helps people and I think there's it's it's kind of not spoken about [1228.93] Stephen: But there's definitely a lot of people here in this community like myself included who find fpv [1235.29] Stephen: Helps them in one way or another like that. It makes you feel like you're a [1240.37] Stephen: Freaking bird and you don't have any stress anymore [1243.29] Stephen: It makes you you know [1245.01] Stephen: Just get away from whatever's bugging you because all of a sudden you're up above the trees and you're moving at 80 mile an hour [1251.13] Stephen: And who gives a right? It's empowering [1255.77] Stephen: Do they so what is the thing? It's a very little out-of-body experience, isn't it? [1260.93] Stephen: As far as you define escapism [1262.97] Stephen: I am locked here in this crappy reality where maybe I've got problems down here and then all of a sudden [1267.77] Stephen: You're not all of a sudden you're a bird except you're doing like 80 miles an hour [1271.81] Stephen: And there's not a lot of birds that do that and you're flipping upside down and screaming along [1276.37] Stephen: It's it's escapism and there's definitely an aspect that it's kind of healing about that to help [1282.69] Zoroe: Things that bugging you. Yeah. Yeah, but also like so that was one of the first key moments that I've ever [1288.57] Zoroe: Liked with STV that you hit like a different note with me [1291.73] Zoroe: It's like I was flying a tiny whoop and uh, and then I turned around and I looked at myself flying and I was like [1298.85] Zoroe: Holy shit. I was like Mike my brain like my consciousness is on this drone right now [1304.13] Zoroe: And I'm looking at like a shell of a person like you know because I can't like adjust myself while I'm flying [1310.17] Zoroe: You know me like your body my body at least is like locked in is like a shell mechanically doing stuff [1316.17] Zoroe: But it seems like your consciousness is like now transferred on the robot. It's like, what are we doing? This is crazy [1324.17] Stephen: Pretty good. We think that fits in with the art to a certain extent [1328.17] Zoroe: Oh, yeah, everything it is art in a way. Yeah, I mean [1333.61] Stephen: I mean not a lot of people want to watch their mates freestyle videos, but it's undeniably still art [1337.85] Stephen: I mean if someone filming themselves playing the video games are then freestyle definitely is [1344.01] Curry: Yeah, there's a little side note to this thing about the the outer body experience and one of the funniest things for me [1350.97] Curry: Is i'd set up a camera because I wanted to do some flybys and I I could see myself in the sticks [1356.49] Curry: And I did not know the weird amount that I would move and yeah [1361.29] Curry: We used to call it the turnigy lean where you just get into this position and filming other people [1366.73] Curry: They're completely different. Some of them go into this little fetal position [1370.17] Curry: It's really funny because they've got their really good patch antennas sticking out and then the first thing they do is [1375.05] Curry: Put their head into the ground where the reception is going to be awesome [1378.65] Curry: And you just all the time slightly stevey wonder sort of flies. It's fantastic [1382.41] Curry: I could feel that more than drones sometimes. It's about a couple hundred bucks on expensive patch antennas. And what do you do? Yeah [1390.25] Zoroe: Dude my head will drift up like so i'm like landing and i'm like i'm like looking up and now [1396.73] Curry: Because this is like [1398.41] Zoroe: Yeah, while i'm flying i'm like dude your head's high up [1401.53] Zoroe: But i'm like trying to adjust my head while i'm flying and it's like impossible. I'm like [1407.37] Zoroe: Like being in a dream where you can't quite do this [1411.45] Zoroe: Turn over there. No over there. No, where is it? I don't know how [1416.57] Jack: I remember um [1418.33] Jack: like [1419.29] Jack: back in the back in the day [1421.61] Jack: when we used to flow atone and that like [1424.57] Jack: Um, we would we would race and i'd find myself leaning forward to go faster [1429.69] Jack: And it's like doesn't work like that [1432.41] Curry: And we we must anybody who's done race skates for the first time must have done the [1437.45] Curry: Just like if you're not quite getting under [1440.33] Curry: That's fantastic. I love that. Yeah bowling. So you crouch when you come up to the race gate [1446.01] Stephen: Yeah [1448.01] Stephen: It's like bowling isn't it? [1449.37] Stephen: You see someone who's doing but they like throw the the bowling ball and five seconds later [1453.77] Stephen: They're leaning over enough to almost fall over [1456.33] Stephen: Yeah, do it all the same symptom [1459.05] Curry: I don't know how it was for you guys, but the very first time I flew on goggles [1463.21] Curry: Um, I didn't get the sort of the instant feeling [1466.57] Curry: Of quite being connected to the quad. It took a couple of couple of goes because at the start my brain was still [1472.73] Curry: With me and so when I turned my head [1475.61] Curry: And nothing happened on the camera position you get annoyed you got sort of a brain fart and it's like, oh what's happening? [1482.09] Curry: This is not right [1483.29] Curry: Couple of a couple of flights in and it it just clicks but those couple of first flights are really weird a really weird mental place [1490.49] Curry: For your head to be it's like you're sort of kind of out of it and not you're not very not here [1496.81] Jack: Wonder [1497.93] Jack: Wonder what you'd be like with pan and tilt [1500.49] Curry: Oh, i'm only on a plane that absolutely fine [1503.29] Curry: But I didn't I didn't get into fixed wing until i'd i'd done like loads of flights on the dodgy helicopter [1508.97] Curry: But by that time I could just [1511.45] Curry: I'm no longer [1513.29] Curry: In a weird place [1514.81] Curry: But I did the the weirdest thing I tried I did this experiment once I had an old [1519.93] Curry: Cheap nasty 450 style quad [1522.81] Curry: And at the time the kk2 board, this is how old it was [1525.85] Curry: You could attach it to a servo [1528.57] Curry: And thus every time you lent forward the camera position would change and the idea was oh, that's good because you'll always be able to see [1536.31] Curry: completely screwed my brain up because we [1539.61] Curry: We work out our altitude and everything based around like positional references we're getting from a camera [1545.37] Curry: And when you start moving that camera up and down [1548.25] Curry: It's it's fine if you like on a mavic, but if you're on a fast quad like a couple of feet off the ground [1552.49] Curry: It's like oh my brain can't I couldn't I couldn't work out my attitude at all [1556.73] Curry: I was just hitting the ground and all sorts. It was terrible [1559.45] Curry: You should all try it as a as a fun and interesting experiment. This is very weird [1564.09] Curry: Over while they were flying. Oh, yeah [1566.97] Zoroe: I know a couple of people. Yeah, yeah, yeah [1568.97] Zoroe: Yeah, that's the reason why I don't fly standing. I can I can lean up against something in flying time [1574.97] Zoroe: Uh, but it's like it's so immersive for me [1578.65] Zoroe: Like I try to tell myself like you're just looking at a monitor [1581.69] Zoroe: You know me like so I can like stand and do it [1584.65] Zoroe: But I get so like immersed in what's happening that like even like watching sometimes like fv videos like I can feel myself like [1592.41] Zoroe: Tilting you know, I mean so every time I try to fly standing up [1595.21] Zoroe: I can feel like I have to hold myself back from tilting forward, you know, and i'm like that's too much [1600.89] Zoroe: I can't thank you. Thank you. Yeah [1605.29] Zoroe: And I watch like mr [1606.25] Zoroe: Feel like standing on top of a tower with like a little platform like standing, you know, he does climbing and stuff [1613.45] Stephen: That's got some crazy reflexes i'm sure [1616.17] Stephen: But yeah when I fly if i'm just cruising along doing cinematic stuff, it's okay [1620.09] Stephen: But if i'm doing flips and rolls i've got to be leaning against a wall or leaning against a tree because otherwise [1624.81] Stephen: I feel myself start to go and if I don't have a point of reference i'm i've staggered a couple of times in stumbles [1630.81] Stephen: I've yet to fall on my face, but it's come really close really really close [1634.89] Stephen: Yeah, and that's [1636.89] Stephen: You don't want that? [1638.01] Stephen: No [1638.81] Stephen: Like that's what you do. Do you have a new tgi goggle stephen? [1642.65] Stephen: Don't ask don't ask I face planted trying to do a power loop [1647.61] Stephen: Power loop is fine, but I fell on my face. I think you have like a bruise of like the goggle outline on your face [1658.25] Jack: I've fallen down a badger hole while standing up [1661.77] Jack: Because like there was a there was a badger hole next to me and I like [1665.29] Jack: Adjusted my foot and went straight down into it. That was pretty horrible [1670.65] Curry: Have you ever tried moving in the camera? [1672.65] Curry: I was flying around and I I realized I was standing in between two trees and I thought oh [1678.17] Curry: That would be awesome to fly through so I [1680.33] Curry: Positioned my quad in front of myself and then attempted to move out of the way and of course I went completely wrong direction [1686.89] Curry: Because that's that's not right. It should be this way. It's really weird really weird [1691.77] Curry: I suggested we should do a whole thing where we have a foot race [1694.73] Curry: Where we start at one end of a field and we have to fly quads filming ourselves and whilst in the goggles run to the other [1700.57] Curry: End without dying. I think that would be an interesting fun race to do. I don't think it's possible [1706.57] Stephen: Has anyone tried to like to try? [1708.81] Stephen: Navigate with the camera on the quad like you pick up the quad and you just like try and walk around. Yeah [1713.85] Zoroe: I can do [1715.29] Zoroe: Yeah [1716.57] Curry: I can do that a little better [1718.65] Curry: I've I've used it to test in my garden when it's pitch black and this camera says it's night vision [1723.37] Curry: I'm if the neighbors could see me i'm wandering around the garden with a pair of goggles on holding this quad [1728.97] Curry: Where I can't see and saying things like oh, this is good. I can't see that in my eyes [1732.89] Jack: I remember that like filming down the edge of your house and stuff. Yeah, we're super dark. Yeah. Oh my word [1739.93] Jack: God your your neighbors must think you're absolutely nutty. Well, they do keep moving out [1745.05] Curry: Perhaps it's because there's some nutter that lives next door. I don't know [1749.21] Stephen: It's a strange screaming whirring noise every minute. No, they can't figure out what's going on. They go out there [1754.81] Stephen: There's nothing out there. They just hear this [1758.33] Frank: It's happening in the middle of the night it's true [1762.41] Frank: This episode was recorded in front of a live online audience downloaded and edited to make sense when it played audio only [1769.13] Frank: Censored to please the itunes people hosted on the internet forwarded through to your podcast provider [1773.93] Frank: Downloaded playing on your device and is now playing in your ears all thanks to our patreons [1779.69] Frank: Consider joining them and you'll also get other online benefits [1783.13] Frank: Find out more at patreon.com [1786.09] Frank: Let's drone out [1788.01] Jack: Did radio master name their [1790.97] Jack: Their little transmitter after you do you think? [1794.97] Zoroe: Uh, I think which is two eighties. I think yes subconsciously they did [1800.17] Stephen: And they didn't know I'm just kidding. No people do I get you need some radio master rep at any point [1805.77] Stephen: Do they comment on the feel? [1808.01] Zoroe: Dude, they I get uh, all these like congratulatory [1811.93] Zoroe: messages on like uh on facebook like congrats on the radio man, you know, like [1818.09] Zoroe: So I save them with like a show of my friends. It's so hilarious [1822.01] Curry: You should you should make a little ball of them. They're so embarrassed to make that typo and they didn't get your name quite right [1829.61] Stephen: A little skin for the radio that's got like a little goatee that hangs around below the screen. Yeah, that'd be awesome [1838.33] Zoroe: Yes, yes, please [1840.33] Zoroe: Also is uh, just just so your audience knows because my videos are a little different on youtube [1847.37] Zoroe: uh, as far as like drone videos go go and uh, I [1852.01] Zoroe: started so when I first started at pv, I noticed there was a very [1856.73] Zoroe: elitist kind of like thing with pilots and [1861.13] Zoroe: To me that was really funny because I wasn't in the industry. It was always like watching like larping [1867.93] Zoroe: People like talk, you know me like [1870.57] Zoroe: Like brag about which is fine, right? [1872.73] Zoroe: But then you're you're kind of laughing out because you're not a part of it and you're like, that's silly [1876.25] Zoroe: You don't mean you're just flying your drone like calm down [1878.33] Zoroe: So for me, I really wanted to make a channel that it's like anti that [1882.73] Zoroe: Where it I get to be myself doing stupid stuff [1886.41] Zoroe: uh [1887.69] Zoroe: You know, the edits are like really different like awkward or maybe like funny [1892.41] Zoroe: so to me like it was [1894.81] Zoroe: it was a way to [1898.17] Zoroe: To that if somebody wanted to come into a pv [1902.33] Zoroe: They knew that it's not all like that. You know, I mean you could feel comfortable like being yourself [1906.73] Stephen: There is a bit of Napoleon dynamite vibe sometimes [1910.49] Stephen: Yeah, yeah people convinced they're so cool [1913.85] Zoroe: Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. I love that the fpv life from the old [1919.77] Curry: Yeah, I liked it the reason the reason I like some of your videos that I was catching up with today is because firstly it's not [1927.37] Curry: All about the flying it's it's mostly about you and making vlogs and and having a good laugh out with friends and stuff [1934.01] Curry: And and secondly, and I think you said it in one of your videos that [1937.61] Curry: watching a really good freestyle [1940.17] Curry: Um is sometimes slightly unwatchable. It's like if anybody's seen a really good fpv racer s you can appreciate the skill [1947.85] Curry: But it's like oh jeez, I can't I can't watch this. It's just like yeah [1952.17] Curry: It's it's it's not watchable so I prefer I prefer to see you know someone [1957.05] Curry: Having you know and showing plenty of your crashes [1960.25] Curry: Hitting bits of car park and stuff and just you know having a laugh and and sort of talking about what's going on. I think that's um [1967.29] Curry: Much well in my opinion much more interesting. Just pure. Here is some flying [1971.29] Curry: Look at me do lots of little tiny whizzy whizzes around trees and bits and pieces and stuff [1977.21] Zoroe: Hey what I was talking to my friend Ian that I go and fly with [1981.37] Zoroe: Pretty much like the only person that I go fly with uh, just because i'm weird like I don't like [1986.65] Zoroe: New people you know, I mean like I I don't know i'm just kind of weird like that [1990.49] Zoroe: I'm kind of like private when it comes to like kicking it with new people [1994.73] Zoroe: um [1995.93] Zoroe: But I was talking to him, you know, I get a lot of messages like a lot of people telling me [2001.93] Zoroe: Hey, you know i've been like depressed and your video like been my day [2006.17] Zoroe: Thank you. You know what I mean? I get a lot of those [2008.81] Zoroe: and [2010.09] Zoroe: It really could have helped me especially lately be able to focus on [2016.01] Zoroe: that part like the fun [2018.55] Zoroe: uplifting kind of part instead of like trying to make myself look like i'm [2023.69] Zoroe: Awesome, and you know, i'm an artist and i'm you know, a grown pilot know this shit. Um [2030.41] Zoroe: it's [2031.69] Zoroe: like [2032.73] Zoroe: I don't like if if I feel like it has like i'm actually [2037.69] Zoroe: Making a tiny bit of a better difference in the world and it makes me feel good [2043.13] Zoroe: Like I at least even though I don't have my shit together [2046.97] Zoroe: And I don't know what i'm doing with my life sometimes, you know [2049.53] Zoroe: Like I know that this one thing that I do that I really enjoy is actually like making other people feel [2054.97] Zoroe: better and nowadays [2056.49] Zoroe: Like even a little relief even for like 10 minutes [2059.21] Zoroe: You can just have really like i've gone through so many crazy life experiences [2063.77] Zoroe: Uh, and sometimes like just a minute of relief from like thinking about your problems from all this [2070.97] Zoroe: Stuff happening all around you like it's it's a pretty big deal. So it's not [2077.45] Zoroe: you know, I just uh [2079.13] Zoroe: It it fulfills me a little bit. I think too [2083.29] Stephen: It sounds really good [2084.41] Stephen: I don't think in some ways the youtube economy kind of slowing down a bit [2089.13] Stephen: Which I think it has over the last couple of years has perhaps been a good thing [2092.57] Stephen: But it allows people to get back to reality instead of trying to build their following [2097.69] Stephen: Constantly pushing pushing pushing constantly looking for new products [2101.77] Stephen: Pushing the products pushing the products more thumbnails more thumbnails, you know [2106.41] Stephen: It's just it's the thumbnail [2108.65] Stephen: He's got a good thumbnail game as curry. He's got some strong faces. He pulls. Yeah [2112.25] Stephen: Yeah [2116.01] Curry: That's my that's it [2118.33] Curry: Sad [2121.13] Curry: That's it that's my repertoire [2124.41] Stephen: But it's nice to see people be a bit more honest and like going through covid [2127.69] Stephen: I think everyone had a bit more time with themselves to sort of [2131.05] Stephen: Face these things like you can't just brush it under the rug when you're sat with yourself 24 hours a day, right? [2136.09] Stephen: Just got to yes, you know deal with it [2138.89] Stephen: And that's that's nice. Yeah, it's it's healthy rather than just like being in the rat race [2143.45] Stephen: Whether it's youtube rat race or work rat race or whatever. Yeah [2147.61] Stephen: Yeah, I totally agree [2149.69] Stephen: Sorry, you're serious there guys. Uh [2152.09] Stephen: I wish you put a knob put a put a knob joke in if in doubt. I found a drone that looked like a banger [2159.37] Jack: No, do you want to [2161.37] Curry: Hold on we've got a question coming just just in time [2164.65] Curry: Clan fpv says a question for you zero. He used to always ask the viewers in your vlogs [2170.65] Curry: Is this what you want ever figure that out? [2173.77] Zoroe: Uh, I there was a period of time that I used to scream like is that what you want? [2178.65] Zoroe: Like as a thing. I don't know where he came from [2181.13] Zoroe: It became a thing that everybody was saying it back to me. Is that what you want? So it was like [2186.73] Zoroe: Yeah, I used to have like I used to do so many fun things before I did drove professionally [2192.25] Zoroe: I actually want to do I want to do a video like do not like if you love flying drones don't ever do professionally just [2199.45] Zoroe: you know, uh [2201.29] Zoroe: Yeah, it takes the [2204.65] Zoroe: Fix the fun out of everything guys. Yeah, i'm [2207.69] Stephen: Yeah, I do it and i've kind of uh, I was really enthusiastic about it until someone asked me to actually okay now go do that [2214.49] Stephen: Yeah, I feel like uh [2217.29] Stephen: The reality is you're never going to be able to do it properly. It's all a compromise. It's all [2223.13] Stephen: Uh [2224.49] Stephen: Probably got get an empathetic nod from curry on that one [2228.01] Stephen: He's free of that now [2229.77] Curry: Now it took me two years before I enjoyed looking at computers in a fun way again [2235.21] Curry: um, and it's mainly [2236.81] Curry: Corporate stuff's mainly about you can't just get stuff done because you have to have a bunch of meetings about it [2241.69] Curry: And then somebody wants a chart and a powerpoint and it just goes downhill from there, doesn't it? Let's face it [2248.25] Stephen: It's nice. Yeah, you've got to keep your hobbies separate from work [2250.57] Stephen: I think the hobbies have got to be something that it allows you to escape from your nine to five [2255.69] Zoroe: It's hard though because when you love it so much like especially when I first started flying fb [2260.81] Zoroe: I was like addicted in in a way that a few things i've ever done that in my life where [2267.13] Zoroe: Like that's all I think about like obsessed [2269.77] Zoroe: I would like try to have a regular job while being obsessed with fbv [2274.41] Zoroe: It's like that's why I really enjoyed uh working with my [2278.33] Zoroe: Ex boss now friend from pandora because we got to both like go out at lunch like to try to squeeze a couple flights in [2285.61] Zoroe: you know, um [2287.45] Stephen: But it's it's crazy addicting. I don't know. It just consumes. I was quite jealous of one of our offices over [2295.77] Stephen: Forgotten where it was now [2297.61] Stephen: Over in boston just north of boston. We used to have an office up there. We shared with hp [2302.97] Stephen: And um, they used to have a whole bunch of space out back and they go and fly planes at lunch and [2308.33] Stephen: Fly some microquads and stuff and I went out. It's like jeez you guys do this at lunch [2313.77] Zoroe: Yeah [2320.41] Stephen: Yeah, it's nice to be able to do that because like in london [2323.29] Stephen: It's like okay [2324.01] Stephen: You know you can go from this one box where you're working to this other box and go to the gym or he goes [2328.25] Stephen: Another box and queue up for food [2330.49] Stephen: It's like you know [2331.77] Stephen: There's not a lot of green spaces around here [2333.53] Stephen: And uh, yeah [2334.09] Stephen: I was pretty jealous when I found out they could just go and like fly planes around for it for a half hour [2338.57] Stephen: And then you go pick up a slice of pizza and go back to the desk. Yeah [2345.05] Zoroe: But uh [2346.41] Zoroe: the the obsession [2348.25] Zoroe: of fbv [2349.69] Zoroe: Made me think that I would want to do it [2352.25] Zoroe: All day long which I did but like it's different again like for hobby versus not [2357.29] Stephen: Well, that's kind of the upskilling level, right when you're learning so fast [2360.89] Stephen: You're going from crash into stuff all the time all of a sudden. I can fly a whole pack. Oh, I can fly like 10 packs [2367.05] Stephen: Oh, I can now do stunts. Oh, I can do really cool stunts [2370.41] Stephen: Oh, i'm like crashing way bigger than I was at the start all of a sudden [2374.73] Zoroe: Yeah, yeah, totally [2375.85] Zoroe: but also being able to [2377.93] Zoroe: like I remember how frustrating it was when I first started flying because I I couldn't even like take off it was like constantly like [2384.41] Zoroe: bouncing off the [2386.65] Stephen: Everyone does that [2388.25] Stephen: You ever see a kid kid try and learn like uh, throttle control on a car [2392.73] Stephen: It's the same thing when they're like bunny hop along the road stop start stop stop stop stop start [2397.13] Zoroe: Well, because like you don't know and you think like oh pull the throttle up and you're like bring it to like a full [2401.93] Zoroe: You know what I mean? You just think like oh, yeah, but then you start learning how delicate the movements are [2407.37] Zoroe: That need to happen [2409.05] Zoroe: You know to make it smooth and then left foot breaking [2412.97] Zoroe: Yeah, exactly, but it was really frustrating [2415.05] Zoroe: I felt like I didn't have control of what I was doing like [2418.49] Zoroe: Even starting to fly like sometimes I start flying backwards and like I didn't know where I was like [2425.29] Zoroe: It takes a while so he got four spins [2428.01] Zoroe: And I uh, I I use this horrible simulator. That's like it came with a cd-rom like a dongle [2434.81] Zoroe: And I was actually there were no other simulators [2437.37] Zoroe: But they had like a map or yeah, like a phantom looking drone that you're actually flying [2442.33] Zoroe: I just wanted to get the controls down because [2445.13] Zoroe: They're not like anything else you can compare with like I could give you an can you identify this sim? [2451.45] Curry: Yes [2452.81] Curry: Or is this the author and he's been around a lot a cd and a dongle could have been phoenix came with it [2458.33] Curry: That was 95. Yeah, big thing back in the day. Yeah, and I found it yesterday. I found it in my little [2465.45] Zoroe: Stuff and I found the cd with a little I was like, oh my god horrible [2468.89] Zoroe: but it really did help me be able to because I knew that [2473.85] Zoroe: only all it would take is to [2476.49] Zoroe: Have the controls be like a second nature where it's like muscle memory [2482.09] Zoroe: You know me to get to that you need to do it enough, but when you start flying you can't fly enough [2488.33] Zoroe: To be able to progress fast enough. I think [2491.85] Zoroe: You know, I mean so like you get to actually practice without meaning to like break everything [2497.77] Zoroe: Um, yeah, and then I crashed actually when I was learning I flew over [2503.05] Zoroe: This lake that my in-laws live at and a few of my videos [2507.77] Zoroe: take [2509.13] Zoroe: place there and [2511.93] Zoroe: Then I lost my drone in the lake how many quads are in that lake? [2516.25] Zoroe: Just one york was just one. Oh, yeah. Yeah that one. Yeah. Yeah, and after that too. I just like I [2524.33] Zoroe: Now I fly like underneath all the [2527.13] Zoroe: Onnies and all the like pier stuff like it really helped me [2532.09] Zoroe: Like I did. I love flying over water because of that just because I was like so [2536.73] Zoroe: Trying to fly over the lake. Um, but yeah, I lost my drone there and I don't swim [2542.89] Zoroe: I'm not like a swimmer at all. And when I lost it I like [2548.89] Zoroe: Like I went in the lake like trying to find my drone [2551.45] Zoroe: dude, I looked for it for so many years and it was always this big mystery like [2557.45] Zoroe: What sometimes I even question like did did it even happen? Like was just like where is this drone? [2566.09] Zoroe: Yeah, every time I would go to my in-laws house I would look over at the lake [2570.41] Zoroe: uh [2571.45] Zoroe: nothing and then uh [2574.01] Zoroe: months ago or like yeah like last year I was walking by the lake and the [2579.69] Zoroe: There was it was like washed up three years later [2584.09] Zoroe: It's pretty how did how was it? [2587.37] Stephen: Do you have it? Oh, yeah [2591.45] Zoroe: It's like a hollywood moment jesus. Wow. Wow. I didn't clean it but this is it. Oh the session's still under dude [2599.61] Zoroe: beauty [2604.89] Zoroe: Yeah, I didn't I don't know I just can't [2607.85] Zoroe: Uh, I can't I don't want to like clean it. I don't want to put like an art installation [2616.49] Zoroe: But you guys it's so weird because [2619.53] Zoroe: It's been like a really big thing [2622.65] Zoroe: Like wondering what happened to the freaking drone and then just walking up one day [2627.77] Zoroe: I looked down and it was right in front of me and you could set that a block of clear resin for future generations. Yeah [2637.21] Zoroe: It was such a surreal moment i'm like is this oh my god, that's my drone it's crazy [2643.61] Stephen: How many years was it down there? [2645.69] Zoroe: Three it was down for three years. Yes. Wow, and I have a video about it. Uh, [2650.57] Zoroe: and actually I pulled the sim card out and I retrieved the [2654.57] Zoroe: Uh, the footage from it of like the crash and I was like, oh [2660.33] Zoroe: Can I play it for you? [2662.01] Stephen: Yeah, it's have you got to do like a share thing on the bottom if you have the video [2666.65] Zoroe: I can I can share a little link [2669.21] Zoroe: Uh, yeah, put the link in the chat. My internet probably not to make it bad [2674.73] Jack: Yeah, my my other [2676.41] Jack: while the screen isn't [2679.13] Curry: I can do it. Okay. It's it's one of the videos I saw before actually [2682.57] Zoroe: Let me have a look see if I can get on [2693.52] Stephen: Everyone's all about the sims, but I have to say when I when I started learning I I smashed [2698.88] Stephen: the one frame to pieces at least 10 times [2702.8] Stephen: And it was a very light quote. It was uh a qav 105, uh, which is you know, um [2709.6] Stephen: A micro version of the full-size qav and I pasted that thing across the landscape so many times [2716.64] Stephen: Um, but I rebuilt it and rebuilt it and the thing is still flying. It's got an f3 the dodgy aio [2724.48] Stephen: The and i've still got umpteen spare frames because I was buying those frames every week [2730.24] Zoroe: Oh, here we go. Oh, yeah, this is it. This is the last footage [2734.48] Zoroe: And I think i'm flying on her uh horizon mode as well [2737.84] Curry: I don't know. Yeah, it looks a little bit wobbly bubbly. Looks like it's kind of fighting you a little bit. Oh, man [2743.84] Stephen: There's some birds around there. Was they was that the reason for crashing? Yeah, it's the bird's fault. Yeah, for sure [2749.84] Stephen: I remember this from [2752.4] Curry: Oh [2754.8] Curry: Sketchy sketchy crash [2756.88] Curry: That's the good thing about gopros. They record the whole underwater session for this one. It was recording [2763.84] Zoroe: for like [2765.36] Zoroe: almost like an hour and I have so much footage of fish going by I just pulled a [2772.48] Zoroe: I just pulled a couple of uh, like seconds of fish, but I have like an hour worth of uh [2779.52] Zoroe: a footage of like fish flight or like [2782.24] Stephen: Swimming by can you upload it? It's a really calming video. Just a 4k zeros fish experience [2789.28] Zoroe: Yeah, I used to and I still view this sometimes when the lake is clear. Yeah [2793.68] Zoroe: Um [2794.8] Zoroe: so I do I because at the lake they fish right, but I really I [2799.44] Zoroe: I love fishing. I just don't like hooking the fish and [2804.3] Zoroe: Terrorizing them. Uh, so what I like to do which is boring, you know [2809.52] Zoroe: Yeah, I put a gopro on uh on like a lure on the fish or on the spring [2814.56] Zoroe: You know just like a gopro hanging from a string [2816.8] Zoroe: And then i'll tie like a piece of hot dog right above it [2820.16] Zoroe: So the fish are attracted to it and now you're throwing the lake and fish will like come [2824.8] Zoroe: You know what I mean? And then you get to check them out. I kind of like that better [2827.92] Stephen: So you're not hurting fish. You're just kind of yeah her thing on them a little bit more of a fish [2837.76] Zoroe: I'm a fish boy [2841.52] Jack: The video that really done me was when you flew your quad into your face [2846.72] Zoroe: on a professional [2849.68] Zoroe: With everybody I was gonna say everyone's done it but yeah, yeah, not when they're paid to yeah [2856.88] Zoroe: We were I have another video you guys should go check it out. Uh, but uh, yeah [2862.96] Zoroe: Oh now right now, but yeah [2864.96] Zoroe: So yeah, it was like my turn to fly it and we were at the San Francisco mint [2868.72] Zoroe: Which is like one of the oldest historic buildings where they used to mint, you know money [2873.68] Zoroe: Uh, it is really old and you know, whatever so they're doing all these crazy nice [2878.88] Zoroe: Shots everywhere and then it's my turn and I have to follow these people down the hallway [2884.0] Zoroe: And i'm using like a small drone and uh, so i'm tracking them, right? Everybody's like, okay quiet [2889.6] Zoroe: You know right on the side directors like okay go like so i'm sitting down and there's every like the whole crew [2895.52] Zoroe: Everybody is just watching me right and i'm flying behind the people [2899.9] Zoroe: Beautiful. It was like it was on a [2902.56] Zoroe: It was so straight. It was so good. I was like awesome. Then I turned back [2907.36] Zoroe: And I got another shot of them going the other way [2910.72] Zoroe: And then people were like yay. They're like like laughing like oh, that was so good, right? [2915.28] Zoroe: People were like impressed. They'd never seen fpv. So like this guy is like doing this [2920.4] Zoroe: So as i'm coming back [2922.8] Zoroe: I wanted to land on my lap because I usually do that right? I don't want it to go on the floor. So I tried to [2930.56] Zoroe: To time it so as it's falling it falls on my lap [2934.16] Zoroe: And because everybody was like yay, you know [2936.96] Zoroe: My adrenaline was going you accidentally punched it [2942.16] Zoroe: And he went [2944.24] Zoroe: Dude like in front of everybody it was hilarious like and everybody went from going yay. They were like, oh [2951.44] Stephen: I'm like concerned. At least you hit yourself in the pool. I mean it could have been work [2956.24] Zoroe: Dude and people after were like are you okay? Like is it dude so funny, but that's the whole thing [2963.04] Zoroe: I could I could do a thing where i'm like i'm going on a drone shoot everybody. Look how cool I am [2968.16] Zoroe: You know what I mean? Like oh, it's the worst people will remember you like that's gonna be etched in their mind now [2974.16] Zoroe: Yeah, but for me like I love pointing out [2976.88] Zoroe: my [2978.16] Zoroe: weaknesses [2980.16] Zoroe: It's it's funny to me like everybody screws up, right? [2983.2] Zoroe: Nobody's perfect and it's funny to me when that kind of stuff happens like for me [2987.36] Zoroe: It's like youtube goal like I want like I don't mind if I look like the ass [2993.12] Zoroe: But it's it makes for a better story. You know what I mean? [3000.17] Stephen: Yeah, it does [3001.53] Stephen: It it I think everyone's getting well, I say everyone i'm just assuming everyone's like me getting a little bit worn down by kind of [3008.41] Stephen: Robotic mannequin style influences and it's nice to be reminded that yeah. Yeah people people screw up people are human [3016.49] Jack: Yeah, you are really human especially with like the way you like put your [3022.65] Jack: Uh [3024.01] Jack: You know your your mistakes there and you know [3027.77] Jack: Like what you choose to record and show is like thanks for that man. But you know like [3035.05] Stephen: cinema verity [3037.77] Stephen: Let's eat yourself in the face of the quad [3040.25] Jack: Yeah [3041.69] Jack: Uh, do you want to cover some news articles? I was wondering I I guess we should just discuss this on air because we are [3048.65] Stephen: Professionals after all I was going to suggest uh jack wanted to do a bonus pod before [3054.25] Stephen: And we didn't announce it [3056.41] Stephen: So I was going to suggest if we did if we announce a bonus pod now [3059.85] Stephen: Maybe we could talk about some news items because i've got a whole bunch of different items we could talk about but i'm really talking [3066.49] Stephen: Over zorro who's got some amazing stories to tell us. So how about we do the news in the bonus pod? [3072.73] Stephen: Does that work? [3074.01] Jack: Yeah can do. Um, I should do that then trying to trying to line up maybe to chat with tommy on our bonus as well [3082.65] Jack: so if you're patreon [3085.29] Stephen: Well, we can cool our heels while I rattle off a bunch of bs news items [3091.05] Stephen: Let's see see how that goes [3095.05] Stephen: So yeah patreon's afterwards we're going to be doing a bonus pod and we'll run through some some news bits and pieces talk about the [3102.81] Stephen: Naked black magic pro 4k and and curry's open hd experiences and other bits and pieces afterwards [3110.57] Curry: so [3111.53] Curry: Whilst we contemplate that let me ask zorro several questions all at once. So you have to remember the answers [3118.17] Curry: First off. What was your [3120.81] Curry: First fpv experience. I think you said you got some whoop. Where did you go from there? [3125.05] Curry: Did you start making stuff and experimenting and also as a bonus question? [3129.21] Curry: Have you tried flying fixed wing fpv? And if not, why not? [3134.41] Zoroe: Very good question. Thank you for asking all those questions. Uh, okay [3141.37] Zoroe: So [3142.33] Zoroe: Well, what was my first experience of fpv? Is that yes, I mean you mentioned having the tiny whoop [3148.17] Curry: But where did you go yourself in terms of the progression? Obviously, you've got yourself [3152.25] Curry: Um a quad when did you start sort of building things and putting stuff together? [3156.41] Curry: What was it two hours question in terms of like or bits and pieces and and where did where did they go? [3163.93] Zoroe: I have a I have a [3165.93] Zoroe: Interesting thing because like one thing that really rubbed me the wrong way about fpv [3170.89] Zoroe: Is that you had to build your own quad and I used to build my own rc cars and I loved it and it was great [3177.13] Zoroe: but like [3178.65] Zoroe: I'm, like, why do you have to be it's almost like you have to be a mechanic to drive a car [3183.69] Zoroe: You know what I mean? And that was like the the thinking like you have to be able to build your own stuff [3188.41] Zoroe: so my boss that uh [3190.89] Zoroe: That got me into fpv [3193.29] Zoroe: He used to like help me. She used to like build drones, right? That was like you think you enjoyed it [3198.25] Zoroe: so you do for me, but I [3200.97] Zoroe: Yeah, yeah, and that was fine [3202.49] Zoroe: You know, but I could repair them and I could still like work on them and stuff [3206.09] Zoroe: But like I was against like needing to know how to build to fly [3211.85] Zoroe: uh, and [3214.33] Zoroe: I went and then like sorry [3215.93] Zoroe: I was buying a lot of pre-builds that was kind of like my thing [3218.65] Zoroe: And then I was getting sponsored by companies and they were like sending me pre-builds constantly as well [3224.25] Zoroe: But I I always wanted to so i've only built one drone in like four years [3229.53] Zoroe: In my whole career like from scratch just one and I [3234.41] Stephen: I hate I hate I hate it. What's your go to bnf then? What's your like daily driver? [3241.85] Zoroe: So when I was flying analog [3244.73] Zoroe: Uh, I was sponsored by armotine. I mean, I still am I guess but uh [3249.69] Zoroe: So all armotine quads [3252.33] Zoroe: Were like my go-to and I still love them. I think that was like the bad. So they chip you like a whole bind and fly [3259.77] Zoroe: Yeah, yeah. Yeah, if you you know, whatever or if I would crash and be like hey I crashed [3264.57] Zoroe: You know, I mean like wow, uh, it's a hell of an idea having a motor sponsor [3269.53] Zoroe: Yeah, yeah, and I've been kind of like spoiled but [3273.37] Zoroe: And I totally I mean, I know how a quad works like all the parts and I could put it together. I just [3279.05] Zoroe: Um, I hate the trouble [3281.05] Zoroe: When I started things were not as smooth as they are now [3284.89] Zoroe: We're like now you can just buy one of these and one of those and put them together and just you know [3288.89] Zoroe: It's gonna work. There was a lot of like voodoo [3292.49] Zoroe: magic [3294.41] Zoroe: Bull crap that I hated it's like everything is right [3297.85] Zoroe: Right. All the parts are in but someone's not working [3300.73] Zoroe: so like having to figure out why it's not working and [3303.69] Zoroe: When you want to slide like it's okay if i'm in the mood to build but like if i'm trying to fly [3308.89] Zoroe: And then there's all these like troubleshooting crap like I just hate it. So I I'd rather have somebody [3315.05] Jack: Give me their hole. I hate you. Yeah, I I remember the days of like you'd spend 50 to like [3322.33] Jack: 70 pounds on new eses [3325.13] Jack: And without even testing whether they work you had to cut them open [3330.17] Jack: Desolder them flash new firmware on them [3334.41] Jack: You didn't even know if it worked then solder them up and then it would smoke a motor [3339.13] Jack: Yeah, you know like I kind of understand but a little bit i'm just like is zorro the kind of guy who's like [3346.25] Jack: He breaks a motor and he just pulls out a new quad like, you know [3352.57] Jack: In the garbage you're like [3354.57] Jack: yeah, like the [3356.33] Stephen: The tire blows out on this car. It's a bad just slides in from the side of the screen [3361.61] Jack: Shot of tequila lights the bottle on fire and then throws it through the window and it's like time to go to the dealer [3368.73] Jack: Yeah [3370.81] Curry: There there's a lot of negativity about buying and flies, but there's some fantastic models [3374.81] Curry: Some of my favorites are still hanging on the wall. The national five [3378.57] Curry: The emotion i see stuff that all the holy bro stuff amazing bills that just work out of the box. I absolutely started [3386.49] Stephen: But i'm i'm the sort of person that [3388.65] Stephen: Absolutely gets down in the weeds. Um complete nerd [3392.33] Stephen: And and so I bought a bunch of binder flies and i'm like, well, I don't like this about this one [3397.77] Stephen: I don't like that about that one [3399.77] Stephen: How do I make them better and then that was the the journey for me and now i'm kind of like I just shot for components [3406.73] Jack: Did you ever feel like a wizard? [3409.13] Jack: being able to like [3410.73] Jack: Change the direction of the motor just by spinning it around [3416.33] Jack: Does anyone know who's that to I feel like a wizard all the time [3419.37] Curry: Every time I see stuff in the way there every time I realize I can see my own mustache. I feel like [3425.53] Jack: If you span the motor [3427.93] Jack: Are you powered it up? And if you span the motor [3431.05] Jack: The direction you wanted it to spin. Yeah [3434.25] Curry: Did there there was a lot of stuff in the vortex quads [3437.69] Curry: That I really feel should have made it into beta flight stuff like hang on [3441.77] Curry: We're detecting what sort of receiver you have [3444.49] Curry: Can you move the sticks and we'll sort it out for you and stuff with like spin the motor and we'll make sure that's the motor [3450.87] Curry: Direction these are it sounds like pretty useful little wizards to having stuff like beta flight, but it never it never made it there [3457.93] Stephen: Yeah, shame. Well, it's got uh, kind of a motor twitch thing now in 4.3 [3462.57] Stephen: I'd say it took them a long time [3464.25] Stephen: But the priority for beta flight seemed to be on people who already knew what they were doing which was a little bit elitist [3470.81] Stephen: I thought that's still a priority [3472.41] Stephen: It's like you press a button and it will twitch the one that it thinks is that motor and you can correct it [3478.17] Stephen: It's kind of where they've got to and you can change the motor direction [3482.33] Stephen: It does it quite nicely. It doesn't just like give it a hundred percent throttle [3485.45] Stephen: It just gives it enough to like jerk it round by a few degrees. You can see [3489.37] Zoroe: Mm-hmm [3490.73] Zoroe: Uh, and also to your question. However, it's loading a fixed wing. See how I remember that guys [3496.65] Zoroe: Let's just take a moment to uh [3501.13] Zoroe: Thank you, thank you jack I appreciate you [3505.61] Zoroe: So no i've never tried actually I never had a chance to [3509.45] Zoroe: uh [3510.73] Zoroe: I would be i'll be down to try it for sure [3513.77] Curry: Give it a go. It might be a new fun way of experience fpv [3517.85] Curry: in a whole sort of [3519.45] Curry: Different scary way, which is completely different to have quad sphere [3523.37] Stephen: It's more just like drifting along from what I see [3526.17] Stephen: It's kind of yeah, you can't see it. You have to experience it [3530.65] Stephen: I've seen it for very short periods before meeting the ground again. That was [3535.53] Jack: That's my first thing [3537.05] Jack: Do yourself a favor buy buy an actual four channel [3542.57] Jack: like trainer slow fly fun [3546.41] Jack: Thing with a propeller on the back of it don't just buy a wing [3551.21] Jack: an fvv wing [3553.45] Jack: 120 miles an hour [3555.45] Jack: Yeah, like extreme [3557.53] Jack: If you do buy a wing buy the biggest wing that you can [3562.81] Jack: Chuck really? [3564.25] Zoroe: I would think a smaller one just so I have more like I know smaller ones are wobbly. Yeah [3569.93] Jack: Yes [3571.93] Jack: It's just sweet spot [3574.89] Jack: You need to be able to launch it [3581.29] Jack: Yeah, don't give it to a quad pilot who's never launched a wing find find someone who flies [3589.13] Zoroe: Like fixed wing. Yeah, I love the way they sound [3595.93] Zoroe: Yeah, I [3597.29] Zoroe: Like when I first started flying I would always look for like big open fields to go fly at [3603.05] Zoroe: And i'm kind of glad I don't have to do that anymore and having to go back to trying to find a big open field [3609.21] Zoroe: Would be kind of an interesting thing [3612.57] Zoroe: Is it is it? [3614.81] Zoroe: like can a can a drone pilot [3618.09] Zoroe: Figure it out like if you're flying [3620.73] Curry: Yeah, yeah, like it's not so outside [3623.61] Curry: drone pilots tend to fly differently than a regular fixed wing pilot who would [3628.41] Curry: The immediate thing a normal fixed wing pilot would do is go up to about like 100 meters [3632.41] Curry: In in american speed that's about 300 feet and fly circles [3635.53] Curry: Whereas a drone pilot would like I'm flying this five feet off the ground just like I was a quad which is more fun [3641.37] Curry: Because then you get all this uh turbulence and the whole wing's shaking. Oh, really? Oh my god [3647.21] Stephen: It's like i'm gonna break out that's strange. Oh, the cornering's not yeah, that's that's when you got the feel of it [3653.05] Stephen: Have you changed it? It seems to wobble [3655.61] Curry: Yeah, it's good. I like it. I I think everyone should try a bit of both and and really couple of mistakes [3661.85] Curry: Oh, yeah [3664.49] Zoroe: I have a friend that got into [3667.05] Zoroe: We all fly drones. He got into planes and he's like going to town like he loves it [3674.41] Zoroe: he's building all these like models and [3678.25] Stephen: Yeah, one thing I noticed recently that might start me with something a bit safer is uh [3684.97] Stephen: It looks like the uh, the blue jay guys have attracted [3689.37] Stephen: Uh a little pr from someone who's added brushed [3693.45] Stephen: Output so I might dick around and put really small brush motors on broken [3698.81] Stephen: I've got a bunch of broken flight controllers at all and ones [3703.05] Stephen: With just a couple of working outputs and so I might dick around with those a bit [3708.09] Stephen: I'm loath to my quad wing thing because it's [3711.53] Stephen: I don't really know where to start [3713.45] Zoroe: The only thing that fvv is missing from right now like a big part of what my videos were [3720.65] Zoroe: Was uh gorilla whooping and that was like [3724.49] Zoroe: expand [3726.17] Zoroe: Uh, that's when you go to like a mall or anywhere where there's people in stores and whatever [3733.13] Zoroe: And you fly in there and kind of trolling the people and like trying to see where you can fly in the store [3737.61] Zoroe: I would go to department stores and fly around [3740.81] Zoroe: um [3742.17] Zoroe: like some of my more [3744.17] Zoroe: Popular videos and what kind of got me a little bit more out there was those because it's uh, i've gotten kicked out of [3752.09] Zoroe: Places like I have a video that the lady's like screaming at me [3756.57] Stephen: Uh all kinds of pretty awesome in an entirely like non [3761.93] Stephen: Yeah, yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, like like the guy who would chase police cars with his RC [3767.93] Zoroe: No, no, no, no, no or like trying to scare people or like, you know, like whiz pile or whatever. No, this is more of like [3774.65] Zoroe: I love [3775.69] Zoroe: People's reaction when they just see this like little thing flying around they have no clue. What is their brains trying to like? [3782.01] Zoroe: Is this uh, you know me though? They they're like girls could be that spot [3785.53] Stephen: If I saw it, I'd just grab the workman be like hello [3789.05] Stephen: And just hold it [3790.73] Stephen: I came over [3792.17] Stephen: I guess people don't do that [3793.85] Jack: I I have got some excellent footage where we were at a pub and I was flying [3798.49] Jack: And we flew around the pub and then the bouncer was chasing after me and trying to find me [3804.09] Jack: and Dom robinson [3806.17] Jack: Lifts up his hat and then I just landed his hat and he puts his hat back on and I just [3812.57] Jack: Turned my goggles around throwing my transmitter in my bag. And then the the bouncer's like [3818.25] Jack: Sorry [3820.25] Jack: Dude it's so fun, bro. I love it. I need to find I need to find that footage. Oh, man. Yeah with [3826.33] Jack: with donna [3828.09] Zoroe: But the the thing that I hate like right now there isn't a good so I switched over to dji, right? [3834.01] Zoroe: and I don't fly analog anymore and uh [3837.85] Zoroe: We're missing like a good actual like whoop size [3842.01] Zoroe: Hd version and I know people are like, oh [3847.93] Zoroe: Like i'm talking about like because uh, tiny whoops are great because it's a brush motor usually [3854.09] Zoroe: And they're quiet and it's uh, it just has a few characteristics [3859.61] Zoroe: Where you're flying like a brushless inside. It sounds different like it's you know, I mean, uh, so I wish they [3867.45] Zoroe: Had a good like small form factor [3872.33] Zoroe: Analog to or uh [3874.57] Stephen: You mean the version of the what because I mean the like a naked a naked vista is still chunky, you know, that's yeah [3883.61] Zoroe: like you can't fly that in the store around people without [3889.45] Stephen: The problem like you can carry it [3891.05] Stephen: but you need like a 2s to really get it moving and then your props sound like screaming banshees and [3897.21] Stephen: People will notice that [3898.73] Zoroe: Yeah, so that's what I miss and I don't want to do I was thinking about [3902.49] Zoroe: putting analog setup on my goggles so to fly my [3906.65] Zoroe: Tiny whoop by analog looks so [3910.33] Zoroe: bad [3911.37] Stephen: Like it looks so horrible. Like even for take an hd0 because happy model just dropped like an hd0 version of the mobula 7 [3919.37] Stephen: Would you go for that? [3921.13] Zoroe: uh [3922.89] Zoroe: and it's [3925.21] Stephen: It's a mob 7 and so it's like 75 mil and it's got the hd0 vtx on it [3930.57] Stephen: only they did like a special board that was a little bit lighter than the [3935.53] Stephen: The normal one so it's like a thinner board and I think the back is only like a 1s or 2s back [3942.73] Stephen: So it's about as light as you can get an hd set up and [3946.33] Stephen: People have been saying it's more like 480p than 720p. That's the thing. I but it's better than analog [3953.53] Zoroe: Looks a lot better than analog. Yeah, anything looks better than analog like [3958.25] Zoroe: That's why like making videos even just having like what the tiny whoopsies with analog [3964.49] Zoroe: It just looks like especially after you've gone [3967.45] Zoroe: Uh digital [3969.05] Zoroe: It is pretty bad [3971.05] Zoroe: You know, it's so i'm like, what's the point like I wouldn't even want to make it into a video [3975.29] Zoroe: So i'm not even gonna fly it, but I do want a better [3979.13] Zoroe: really small [3981.61] Zoroe: Whoop thing that I can I can go back and do my gorilla whooping [3986.01] Stephen: She's got to go 85 mil. I guess [3988.17] Stephen: chunky whoop [3989.69] Stephen: fat whoop [3991.29] Zoroe: Yeah [3992.89] Zoroe: Definitely. It can't look menacing or actually you can't like [3996.89] Zoroe: hurt somebody you know what I mean like [3998.97] Stephen: Yeah, like when i'm flying around my cats, there's a very definite size like beyond a certain size [4004.33] Stephen: It's no longer prey, but it's a threat. There's like a cut off in a certain size range [4009.21] Stephen: I noticed that too like that's scary [4011.85] Zoroe: But it's not scary [4014.97] Zoroe: Yeah, because I can I just see uh, so I would find a store whatever and they would come out [4020.09] Zoroe: Yeah, sometimes I say oh, sorry my daughter like [4023.53] Zoroe: Sometimes I usually say like I lost you [4025.93] Zoroe: One of the funnier things is I love saying that I was flying outside and just lost control and like went inside [4031.37] Zoroe: Just people buy it. You know what I mean? They don't know [4034.33] Zoroe: Just turn me out of control when I was close to the end of that. Yeah [4039.05] UNKNOWN: What? [4041.05] Zoroe: Oh, it's it's the best I love gorilla women [4046.49] Curry: This sounds like a good fan, which we sure try but I feel we should have to read the disclaimer five times over just to say [4052.33] Curry: maybe maybe consult a lawyer [4055.37] Curry: About doing it watch out for that [4057.53] Curry: But but do it and send the videos and just say you found the sd card or something that seems to work [4062.57] Zoroe: Yeah [4063.21] Zoroe: and I used to think like [4064.73] Zoroe: You know, it's a because it looks like a toy also is like so people can't get really mad [4069.69] Zoroe: They're like, oh, you know, I mean you can see it's a tiny little like toy drone. So is that a big deal? [4075.29] Zoroe: but I have heard of [4077.61] Zoroe: a person [4079.05] Zoroe: that flew in a mall and [4082.09] Zoroe: They so you have to also know how to like [4085.29] Zoroe: Work with people like from my graffiti days. I like compared to graffiti on a headstock [4092.17] Zoroe: Yeah, like where you're actually doing something that's like damage you're studying that spray can't go oh [4099.61] Zoroe: So to be like the [4101.85] Zoroe: Flying a drone that i'm not even touching anything or anyone [4105.77] Zoroe: it's so less on the [4109.21] Zoroe: You know bad scale that it's not a problem [4112.25] Zoroe: but I did hear of someone that was out of all and they were flying like really moving and [4117.69] Zoroe: The situation escalated I think maybe they weren't being cooperative with security whatever [4123.13] Zoroe: And then police came and got arrested and I was like, what can you get arrested for flying a drone and it's um [4130.57] Zoroe: What was like disturbing the peace was one of the thing [4133.53] Zoroe: Uh, there's another one about like people gathering like you can't do certain things when people gather. I don't know [4140.17] Zoroe: yeah, so uh [4142.09] Zoroe: So even though like you just never know so yes, the disclaimer is true [4147.45] Stephen: Don't do it. I don't be careful. I'm surprised malls still exist [4150.81] Stephen: I think around here most of the malls are shut down and everything's just like delivered to your house now [4155.85] Zoroe: That's true, too [4157.53] Zoroe: Mm-hmm. I couldn't go gorilla whooping [4159.93] Zoroe: during the covet thing anyways [4162.57] Curry: Just figure all the empty moles you can take full-size quads in there and yeah and have fun. Yeah. Oh my god [4168.25] Zoroe: That'd be so much fun [4169.93] Zoroe: Free. So yeah, I'd love to do that for sure [4172.97] Zoroe: Yeah, i've lost one in a mall too [4174.97] Zoroe: I mean, uh, my friend wore gorilla whooping and I was doing some [4179.05] Zoroe: Sigs and it got stuck in the awning like really high up on the mall and it's still there [4184.17] Stephen: Sorry, I thought you meant you'd lost like a five inch in a mall and i'm like how [4188.65] Stephen: where [4195.13] Zoroe: How is it like flying where you guys are at is it the have [4198.81] Zoroe: As far as like ease of finding places to fly are people [4203.69] Stephen: Cool with I don't really have any urban environments. It's all like round some trees [4207.93] Stephen: I'm in the middle of the city, but I fly in parks because there's no there's not like bandos around here [4213.93] Stephen: And there's no certainly no malls. I don't these guys are in a different sort of area to me [4218.97] Curry: Well, we're we're further down south and if you look at google maps, there seems to be lots of green areas, but [4224.97] Curry: They're not accessible any accessible green place is instantly filled up with people [4230.33] Curry: Picnicking or somebody builds on it. So it's that that is the biggest struggle [4234.81] Curry: I find is is finding a place where you can fly [4237.93] Curry: Which doesn't seem to offend people i'm lucky enough to [4241.37] Curry: Know a couple of farmers that I get access to their land [4244.41] Curry: Although sometimes the cows eat my models, which is a bit of a pain really but yeah [4249.85] Curry: Yeah, literally a cow ate my camera once but I used to fly in a place really close to home [4255.69] Curry: Which was like it's almost a secret amazing place because only professional dog walkers would go there [4260.41] Curry: And now there's 2000 houses there instead. So any spot that's like free is going to be taken up at some point by building [4268.49] Curry: Yeah, and as steve says we just we just don't have bandos because [4272.09] Curry: As soon as there's an empty building it's either like oh, we should knock it down and rebuild it into some flats or [4277.53] Curry: Somebody takes over it and does something else with it. Unfortunately a case in point [4281.37] Stephen: One of our regular viewers here a guy who makes a bunch of express LRS video radios fail safe [4287.61] Stephen: He was talking the other day about how he was going to go and fly in a bando [4292.89] Stephen: And to go and fly in this bando and meet some people he was going to travel for five hours [4298.01] Stephen: That that gives you an insight into the prevalence of bandos in the united kingdom [4303.61] Stephen: Wow [4305.13] Stephen: There's not a lot of them [4307.21] Zoroe: Yeah, where do where your homeless people do heroin in [4312.01] Zoroe: the top of the street [4314.65] Stephen: Some things bridges. Yeah, let's go about in the great outdoors [4320.89] Curry: Shop doorways where they can find parks [4325.61] Zoroe: Yeah, by the way, have you guys seen this have you guys seen me in the back grinders, uh movie? [4331.77] Stephen: No, what's this? [4334.01] Zoroe: Yeah, it's a [4335.45] Zoroe: rotor I it presents, uh, bob grinder and uh, we did a like a little movie with [4344.25] Zoroe: Chad caver it was like a [4346.01] Zoroe: actual like little [4347.61] Zoroe: Movie that was really dope. It's a really good story and it was so much fun [4353.05] Zoroe: But nice to miss that one. It's called, uh rotor right [4356.49] Zoroe: If you look at it, yeah, yeah, it's really well. Chad caver is like [4361.21] Zoroe: so good at the [4363.69] Zoroe: Directing say like that's just what he does and it's crazy to see people [4370.17] Zoroe: Knowing how to pull a thing together, you know, I mean [4375.13] Zoroe: It's not easy to direct something [4379.13] Zoroe: i'm sure [4380.17] Stephen: Try directing something. I mean, yeah, sorry. I'm just disappearing off to look now, but yeah [4386.7] Stephen: We'll go find out [4388.7] Jack: Um, should we call it there guys?
