Massive thank you to. [14.0] Jack: Carlos Campos. [16.0] Jack: Art Faulkner. [18.0] Stephen: Sam Dahmer. [20.0] Frank: On with the show. [22.0] Frank: Let's Drone Out now. [52.42] Jack: And welcome back. You're listening to Let's Drone Out. Tonight we are joined by a Lord of Master, Andrew S. Frank. [59.42] Frank: Evening. [61.42] Jack: The man with my star, Steven. [63.42] Jack: Good evening. [64.42] Jack: My darling wife, Tony. [66.42] Jack: Bonjour. [67.42] Jack: And I am bright until I fly. Welcome to the show. [72.42] Jack: Steven, do you want to continue? [78.42] Stephen: So, yeah, probably not done a lot of flying, as I was just saying, I went for a walk for about like five minutes today and was so soaked I had to hairdry my trousers when I got back inside. [88.42] Stephen: So, limited flying has occurred. [92.42] Frank: Absolutely rubbish out there, isn't it? [94.42] Frank: I think we've got a break tomorrow. [97.73] Frank: I think Saturday was meant to be all right, possibly. [103.23] Frank: What about tomorrow? I've got to earn some money. [107.23] Stephen: Well, you might be able to go and do some windows, but flying is difficult, especially where it's like clay here. [113.23] Stephen: And even if the rain does stop for a half hour, you're still six inches deep in water everywhere. [118.23] Frank: I can't mountain bike, can't fly. [121.23] Frank: I could just about play airsoft. [123.23] Stephen: Canoeing, on the other hand, is prime condition to that. [127.23] Frank: What on the other hand? [129.23] Stephen: Canoeing. [130.23] Stephen: Canoeing. [131.23] Frank: Get your kayak out. [132.23] Frank: I could kayak. [133.23] Stephen: Kayak everywhere right now. [135.23] Stephen: Universal kayaking territory. [137.23] Frank: Yeah. [138.23] Frank: Kayak could do better down some of my roads than the car does. [142.23] Frank: Kayak down the shops, get a Kit-Kat. [145.23] Frank: It's been a proper wet month, isn't it? Absolutely correct. [150.23] Frank: Yep, absolutely. [153.23] Frank: It was reasonable last Saturday and I ended up spending it all building a shed. [160.23] Frank: So, I didn't get out to fly either. [162.23] Frank: Ah. [163.23] Frank: Never mind. [164.23] Frank: But it means I have a shed. [166.23] Frank: Ah. [167.23] Frank: So, you've got a proper workshop now. [169.23] Frank: At the moment, the only thing in the shed is a garden shredder, which will chew through [178.23] Frank: a load of hedges. [180.23] Jack: I've been quiet about it. [182.23] Jack: How many kilowatts is it? [185.23] Jack: How many horsepower? [187.23] Stephen: Two and a half kilowatts. [189.23] Stephen: You found suitably dangerous. [192.64] Stephen: Good luck. [193.64] Frank: Yeah, exactly. [194.64] Jack: Don't cut your dick off or macerate your face. [199.64] Jack: Please, Frank. [200.64] Stephen: So, as you may have noticed recently, we're now past Valentine's Day and I got my wife [211.64] Stephen: a special Valentine's Day present this year that she's been looking for. [216.64] Stephen: And I thought, you know, place my strengths. [218.64] Stephen: So, I got her a CNC router. [221.64] Stephen: You've got voice booth. [223.64] Stephen: Nice. [224.64] Stephen: Now I've got sitting on the kitchen table waiting to be set up. [226.64] Stephen: So, that will be interesting. [227.64] Stephen: Absolutely. [228.64] Frank: Yeah. [229.64] Frank: Nice. [230.64] Frank: What sort of CNC router have you got? [233.64] Stephen: It's from Sainsmart and they seem to get great reviews for, they make 3D printing filament [239.64] Stephen: and they've got some really good reviews for their beginner kits. [242.64] Stephen: So, I got something largely unpronounceable. [245.64] Stephen: String of figures that was very highly reviewed. [247.64] Stephen: Genmitsu 3018 Prover 2. [253.64] Stephen: Yeah. [254.64] Stephen: Yeah. [255.64] Stephen: They do this thing where every time they do a model revision, they add in like another [259.64] Stephen: word on the end. [260.64] Stephen: So, you end up with these colossally long unpronounceable, unmemorable names that you [264.64] Stephen: just have to like copy and paste. [268.64] Stephen: Yeah. [269.64] Stephen: She seems very happy with that. [270.64] Frank: I've appreciated it. [271.64] Frank: Yeah. [272.64] Stephen: Yeah. [273.64] Stephen: She seems really, really chuffed with it. [274.64] Stephen: So, that's good. [275.64] Stephen: Got a little offline controller. [276.64] Stephen: Had to shop around to find the offline controller which is the bit that lets you put an SD card [281.2] Stephen: into it so you don't need to leave laptop tethered to it because especially with one [285.04] Stephen: of these guys, you know, it's throwing out dust and crap and you don't really want your [290.48] Stephen: computer stuck right next to it the whole time if it's just spewing sawdust everywhere. [294.64] Stephen: So, yeah, that should come in handy. [297.28] Stephen: And they were quite difficult to find that set me back a bit. [300.64] Stephen: But yeah, I say this because they actually had Valentine's Day promos on these and I [305.64] Stephen: started off thinking that's hilarious. [306.64] Stephen: And then I was just like, actually, wait a minute, actually, good work. [310.64] Stephen: Nice. [311.64] UNKNOWN: Very good. [312.64] Frank: I'm just saying there's not any drama going on in the FPV scene we could talk about. [322.16] Stephen: Yeah. [323.4] Stephen: Ensuring FPV influencer slap fights or something. [329.48] Jack: Someone who's not been watching any of this can someone explain to me what's going on? [337.12] Jack: Shall I have a shot? [338.12] Jack: Who's up there? [339.12] Stephen: Okay. [340.12] Stephen: So, Bot Grinder did a video about kind of what happened with FPV and he traced through [344.52] Stephen: what people did. [345.52] Stephen: We talked about this with Curry and, you know, Andy, I'll see him people in the past where [348.8] Stephen: there was a period of time where you could make a decent bit of cash just doing honest [353.52] Stephen: technical reviews and then the affiliate stuff got a bit more aggressive and people were [358.76] Stephen: trying to push really hard to get affiliate links and then it became, you know, you had [363.4] Stephen: these awkward arrangements where you had to say nice things about products and some people [367.0] Stephen: kind of backed away from that and some people went all in on it. [370.56] Stephen: And so you've got very much this split that's occurred where some people are absolutely [376.2] Stephen: just taking money to do reviews or at the very least, you know, please send me lots [379.8] Stephen: of free products that I'll give away to grow my channel and other people are like, alright, [384.4] Stephen: I'm going to be an arbiter of what works and what doesn't work and you can see like Curry's [389.56] Stephen: last review he did is like getting a 3D printer, uses the 3D printer, it completely fouls up [396.04] Stephen: prints and he leaves it in the video and says, look, it's fouling up prints and this is something [401.88] Stephen: you might find if you buy the product but you can fix it and here's how you fix it and [406.84] Stephen: now I've done these things, my prints really good. [409.28] Stephen: So this is useful to people who might buy the product and you have other people who [414.92] Stephen: say this is the best ever and you can scroll through their videos and you can see that [419.48] Stephen: time after time, they will say the product is the best ever and they might say for example [425.8] Stephen: that they have the drone of the year three or four times running month after month after [432.48] Stephen: month and you begin to question why is it every time you review a drone, it's the drone [437.96] Stephen: of the year? [438.96] Stephen: Are these all great? [439.96] Stephen: And you look down the list and there's things like an Isheen Tyro which is given the best [444.08] Stephen: beginner drone and you think Isheen normally just throws a bunch of crap in a box and then [449.76] Stephen: discounts it. [450.96] Stephen: So is it, would you recommend that for a beginner? [453.64] Stephen: That's interesting and a bot grinder, you know, threw in some thumbnails from one of [458.2] Stephen: these people when he did his little kind of, didn't mention them by name, just thrown in [462.0] Stephen: some thumbnails and the person got so aggravated that they decided to call attention to who [466.64] Stephen: they were. [467.64] Stephen: No one even knew who he was talking about until they started making a big noise about [473.2] Stephen: it and they could have got a lawyer involved which they probably should have but instead [478.44] Stephen: they appear to have... [479.44] Jack: Hang on. [480.44] Jack: Hang on. [481.44] Stephen: Wait, wait, wait. [482.44] Stephen: Hang on. [483.44] Jack: They looked like it was written by a... [484.44] Jack: If you were inspired by any edits on the show, personal may not reflect the views of others. [489.2] Stephen: They sent a letter out that looked like it had been ghostwritten by an AI that didn't [495.12] Stephen: make sense and looked sort of like a cease and desist if you squinted and then when questioned [500.44] Stephen: about it by Bardwell said that, oh, it's not a cease and desist, I didn't get a lawyer [505.48] Stephen: to write it. [506.48] Stephen: I just want him to take the video down. [507.92] Stephen: So they sent someone a cease and desist without legal backing just to try and give someone [515.32] Stephen: the fear and get them to... [517.2] Stephen: It's just all massive strides and defects, basically. [521.48] Stephen: Instead of softly, softly, hello, mate, it'd be really nice if you did this, it's all just [526.28] Stephen: like threats, threats, threats. [528.28] Frank: I mean, all good reviewers who say it's good to do our podcast, yeah, it's really good, [537.92] Jack: well, no, I mean, we were reviewed as not even being a drone podcast anymore. [544.92] Jack: There was too much twatting around. [547.92] Stephen: When has there ever not been too much twatting around? [551.92] Stephen: Is citation required? [554.92] Frank: Yeah. [556.92] Frank: I liked it when we twatted around even more than now. [561.92] Jack: Are we not twatting around? [563.92] Jack: There have been some panties in a twist. [566.92] Jack: Oh, yeah. [567.92] Stephen: But I think everyone kind of knows that the person involved wasn't really reviewing. [571.92] Stephen: They were doing puff nieces because you just had to look at their video thumbnails and [575.92] Stephen: there's not a single negative. [577.92] Stephen: I mean, look at someone like Mads Tech or Curry Kit and someone like that who's getting [582.92] Stephen: products and they're looking at them and they'll have things like, oh, this didn't work or [586.92] Stephen: there's a problem with this. [588.92] Stephen: They'll be good bits and then they'll be bad bits. [590.92] Stephen: But if you look at someone and everything is amazing and everything is hyperbole, it [595.92] Stephen: paints a very clear picture. [598.92] Frank: Unless maybe they get loads of things and they only review the good ones. [604.92] Frank: Maybe that's what they're doing. [607.92] Stephen: When the same product's sent to another site, they find problems with it. [611.92] Stephen: This person, you know. [614.92] Jack: They're just a happy person. [616.92] Jack: It's not necessarily the reviewer's fault. [619.92] Jack: Look at DK Aldi's. [624.81] Stephen: Maybe he's just a very capable reviewer and he works around problems that might stop other [628.81] Stephen: people. [630.81] Stephen: He looks at an E-Sheen drone and he's like, yeah, I mean, that's just 72 hours of resoldering [636.81] Stephen: and reprogramming and I'll have that. [638.81] Stephen: Good as rain. [639.81] Stephen: I won't mention any of it. [641.81] Stephen: That's what you expect, right? [644.81] Stephen: That's what every beginner does. [645.81] Stephen: Best beginner drone. [647.81] Frank: I think people should do follow up videos. [650.81] Frank: Six months in, what do you really think about it now? [654.81] Jack: Six months in, you can no longer buy it, but it's been all right. [659.81] Stephen: But for stuff like goggles and radios, that makes a ton of sense. [663.81] Stephen: Things that you're going to live with. [666.81] Frank: Yeah, I think you should do that. [671.12] Stephen: You look at a desk chair or something. [673.12] Stephen: If you were to review something like that, you'd want to review someone who's been sitting [677.12] Stephen: on it for a while, not just, oh, it's all shiny. [680.12] Stephen: Oh, look at all the plastic. [683.12] Stephen: I think Andy also used to do a few of those, didn't he kind of revisit stuff a little bit [687.12] Stephen: later and kick the tires. [690.12] Jack: I remember when Andy got praised for the best tuned quad in the world. [696.12] Jack: That caused him upset. [698.12] Jack: Do you want some real panty twisting action? [702.12] Jack: Yeah, I remember that. [704.12] Jack: He released some pits and someone wasn't very happy about. [709.12] Jack: And having Andy know how to tune a quad. [713.12] Jack: No. [715.12] Jack: Andy's the dog pit level reviewer. [719.12] Stephen: He always used to retune everything. [721.12] Stephen: It's kind of stopped now. [722.12] Stephen: But I remember seeing his videos. [724.12] Stephen: He'd be like, oh, yeah, this wasn't quite right. [726.12] Stephen: So I up the D Danes and I did this. [728.12] Stephen: And there was a bit of a wobble. [729.12] Stephen: And now look after I tuned it flies like this. [733.12] Stephen: I can't remember the last time I saw someone do that. [736.12] Jack: Yeah. [738.53] Jack: No one knows to have a tune anymore. [741.53] Jack: And also I liked Andy and his speed gun as well. [746.53] Jack: He was like one of those grandmas that stand on the tennis ball measuring thing. [757.53] Frank: I've got a cool. [758.53] Frank: I've got grannies. [761.53] Frank: You got caught by granny in a hair dryer. [767.53] Frank: Also 35 and a 30 and she threw her fist up. [770.53] Jack: Maybe. [771.53] Jack: Allegedly. [773.53] Jack: This is your reverse back at 40. [775.53] Frank: Just to run away. [783.53] Frank: I'm a good boy. [784.53] Frank: I'll drive at 30 everywhere. [786.53] Frank: Even on the motorway. [788.53] Jack: Even in car parks. [796.53] Frank: So slowly when you get into 20s. [803.53] Jack: Well, no, it's important. [804.53] Jack: You might as well just get out of your car and walk. [806.53] Frank: Yeah. [808.53] Frank: And he says a lot of the time early bird bind and flies had junk pits. [813.53] Frank: I come up with me. [815.53] Frank: Amazing. [816.53] Frank: They would end up getting shipped with them. [819.53] Frank: Yeah. [820.53] Frank: Yeah. [821.53] Frank: Just to show you that Andy. [824.53] Frank: Let's just do a tune. [827.53] Frank: They should have. [828.53] Frank: They make it right. [830.53] Frank: And then we copy it and then send it. [832.53] Frank: That's definitely a complaint that Lee's made, isn't it? [836.53] Frank: The painless 360. [839.53] Frank: And he's said he's not taking any more retail models because that basically they [843.53] Frank: were just shipping him hardware that technically operated with that. [848.53] Frank: It wasn't tuned at all. [850.53] Frank: And then we just kind of hope that it worked out because they couldn't work it [854.53] Frank: out. [860.53] Frank: Yeah. [861.53] Frank: So it's sort of, you know, you have to put a limit on. [865.53] Frank: I know Andy's found that as well at times that just being swamped with just so many [871.53] Frank: things that people have sent you to review, it's like, well, you know, I don't [876.53] Frank: have time to fix all this. [878.53] Frank: Yeah, right. [879.53] Stephen: And he would wait until the thing flew properly before filming it. [883.53] Stephen: These days you see some of the big guys that, oh, this flies terribly. [887.53] Stephen: And that's it. [888.53] Stephen: I'm like, okay. [889.53] Stephen: And Andy would just sit down there and be like, oh, it wasn't flying properly. [893.53] Stephen: Therefore I did this like two weeks worth of troubleshooting and put like 20 hours [898.53] Stephen: into fixing the thing for, you know, 15 minute video. [902.53] Frank: I think that's, you know, that's worthwhile doing occasionally. [906.53] Frank: Like, particularly if there's like a slightly, like if a new product has come out that's [911.53] Frank: slightly different from everything else or it's like much cheaper than everything else [915.53] Frank: that meets that same requirement, you know, maybe it's an entry level thing. [918.53] Frank: You know, maybe it is worth putting a bit of time in and working out how to get the [922.53] Frank: most out of that hardware because that's the sort of person who's going to get it. [927.53] Frank: But, you know, if a manufacturer is just not even bothering trying to tune it and just [931.53] Frank: sending you loads and loads and loads of whatever they've come up with, then that's not, [936.53] Frank: that's not really fair, is it? [938.53] Frank: And he's here saying the Dynatone 349 would not even fly without his tune. [943.53] Frank: That's what Jack's referring to. [945.53] Frank: And they came into this habit of shipping them without flying them. [948.53] Frank: And he got fed of it, fed up of it. [951.53] Stephen: Yeah. [952.53] Stephen: That's when he got the speed record with, I think, the 349, the six S1. [957.53] Jack: Like his friendship with Jack. [960.53] Jack: He got sick of that as well. [964.53] Jack: It's all the dog's bottoms. [966.53] Frank: Not the rowing bottoms. [969.53] Jack: No, it was the dry humping. [972.53] Frank: Yeah. [973.53] Stephen: That's what he said. [975.53] Stephen: It's an entirely correlated friendship, dry humping. [979.53] Frank: Tailspin obviously says he's not flown any five-inch and up in about four years, just [984.53] Frank: sub-250 micros, which I think makes a lot of sense. [989.53] Frank: Yeah. [990.53] Frank: The sort of thing you can just chuck in a bearing and fly anywhere. [993.53] Frank: Yeah. [994.53] Frank: There's definitely an appeal to that. [996.53] Stephen: Yeah. [997.53] Stephen: That's kind of where I'm going as well. [998.53] Stephen: Like, you know, I've built seven inches, built a whole bunch of five inches. [1001.53] Stephen: And I find I hardly ever fly them. [1004.53] Stephen: It's great you've got all this space for the fanciest this, that, and the other. [1007.53] Stephen: And everything can carry a GPS. [1009.53] Stephen: Everything carries a GoPro. [1010.53] Stephen: But if you hardly ever fly them, it's difficult. [1015.53] Frank: Cheers. [1017.53] Frank: Especially when it's raining on. [1022.81] Frank: We need to go on holiday. [1023.81] Frank: Go fly somewhere. [1025.81] Stephen: Well, I think the trip to Croatia is going ahead. [1028.81] Stephen: There you go, right there. [1030.81] Stephen: I'm not sure I will. [1032.81] Stephen: Just didn't enjoy the flying bit. [1034.81] Stephen: And I haven't got time to do the road trip. [1036.81] Stephen: So it wasn't sure how to make it work, really. [1040.81] Stephen: But yeah, if anyone's interested, then the unmanned tech crew are heading over there. [1045.81] Stephen: I'm sure you can reach them on their Discord. [1047.81] Stephen: Say hi. [1049.81] Jack: I thought you had unlimited time off. [1053.81] Stephen: Yeah, I just there's a lot of places I want to go. [1056.81] Stephen: And I can't just take two weeks. [1059.81] Stephen: I don't know. [1061.81] Stephen: I wasn't feeling too great when they were setting it up. [1063.81] Stephen: And I thought I just needed a bit of actual quiet time. [1066.81] Stephen: Not like, you know, spending all my time. [1069.81] Jack: I'm tired of the CNC router. [1073.81] Stephen: Yeah, yeah. [1075.81] Stephen: Well, just, you know, standing around Bandos all day and eating junk food all the time. [1080.81] Stephen: I thought, I don't know, quite tired at the end of it. [1084.81] Stephen: So a low key holiday. [1089.81] Frank: I do feel like FPV road trips usually require, like, a week to recover from. [1095.81] Stephen: There's a lot of time in the car. [1097.81] Stephen: You're getting up pretty early, spending a lot of time in the car. [1100.81] Stephen: Unless you're driving, you kind of just have to hang around [1104.81] Stephen: until everyone else wants to go back. [1106.81] Stephen: And then, you know, on the beers in the evening [1108.81] Stephen: and then someone's always up at stupid o'clock in the morning afterwards. [1114.38] Jack: Yeah. [1115.38] Jack: And then put the sausages in the dark and, you know. [1121.38] Jack: Is that what they call it? [1123.38] Jack: You know, we all have our little voices, shall we say? [1127.38] Jack: Isn't that right, Andy? [1129.38] Frank: Hello, Lumbskull, just during the chat. [1133.38] Jack: Hey, Lumbskull, how's it going? [1136.69] Frank: I think he was building RC cars, didn't he say? [1142.69] Frank: Oh, am I doing another one of them? [1144.69] Frank: I think the grass on mine is quite cheap. [1146.69] Frank: We might do the grass hopper. [1148.69] Stephen: Yeah, I've still got one kicking around down there. [1152.69] Stephen: I've got a tank down there as well. [1155.69] Jack: You've actually got an official release for your radio master. [1163.69] Jack: RC car, haven't you? [1165.69] Jack: Controller. [1167.69] Stephen: Excuse me, pardon? [1169.69] Frank: The MT-12. [1171.69] Stephen: Oh, yeah. [1173.69] Stephen: That's been out for a while. [1175.69] Stephen: Yeah. [1176.69] Stephen: I recommend getting out. [1178.69] Jack: Yeah, I was saying this, I think, what's it called? [1184.69] Jack: Not OpenTX. [1186.69] Jack: The HDX has got an official release now for it. [1190.69] Stephen: Ah, I may need to actually upgrade. [1192.69] Stephen: I did check HDX the other day. [1196.69] Stephen: I think. [1199.69] Stephen: I've heard. [1201.69] Stephen: Things have really slowed down the last year. [1205.69] Stephen: There's not been this flurry of new software releases. [1209.69] Stephen: Well, it hasn't been new hardware either. [1211.69] Stephen: Everything just seems to have gotten a bit of a damper on it. [1213.69] Jack: Well, there is a war going on and can't tell me. [1221.06] Stephen: I mean, there's a war going on, which has a lot of FPV equipment going into it as well. [1227.06] Frank: So the point where the UK government has released a press release saying they're spending, [1237.06] Frank: well, they're committing £200 million to FPV equipment for Ukraine. [1243.06] Stephen: That's 200 quads built in Sheffield. [1247.06] Frank: They said thousands of quads or thousands of drones. [1252.06] Frank: So I'm taking that to mean somewhere between £1,999 and maybe £19,999. [1264.06] Frank: Because if it was £20,000, it'd be tens of thousands. [1267.06] Frank: So it's less than that. [1269.06] Frank: Well, it's going to be safer than missiles, isn't it? [1273.06] Stephen: Well, there is that. [1274.06] Stephen: I imagine they've got some old stock kicking around. [1278.06] Jack: With the gyros off a few things. [1282.06] Jack: Yeah, get some old stuff. [1284.06] Jack: They are screwed into them. [1286.06] Jack: Don't use that as a sound by the editor. [1292.06] Jack: It's actually my destinations. [1294.06] Frank: Yeah. [1296.06] Frank: What's the kind of feel within the community, do you think? [1302.06] Frank: The fact that the government is spending £200 million on drone equipment. [1308.06] Frank: Is that a good thing? [1310.06] Frank: Is that a bad thing? [1312.06] Frank: We should not trust it. [1314.06] Stephen: Do you trust our government? [1316.06] Stephen: I mean, it comes down to it. [1320.06] Jack: I wouldn't trust them to operate a microwave. [1326.06] Jack: Who stuck a screen in it? [1329.06] Stephen: If it was a serious aid package, [1332.06] Stephen: I think Russia would probably be complaining about it. [1335.06] Stephen: So I'm going to say it's not a serious aid package. [1339.06] Frank: Well, they probably work better than the stupid things firing out of a supper. [1344.06] Frank: Oh my God. [1346.06] Frank: Oh, Monday Curry Club. [1349.06] Jack: That was fantastic reading this afternoon. [1353.06] Jack: Oh my God. [1355.06] Jack: You little whingers. [1358.06] Jack: It's a secret society. [1364.06] Frank: Well, we go for a curry on a Monday. [1369.06] Frank: We went for a curry on a Monday like twice. [1372.06] Frank: Three years ago. [1377.06] Frank: It's the secret. [1379.06] Jack: And the fact still exists. [1382.06] Jack: And it consists of Tony said something stupid. [1385.06] Jack: Frank tells him why he's wrong. [1388.06] Jack: Or Frank says something. [1390.06] Jack: Oh my God, have you seen this? [1392.06] Jack: And then Tony whingers about it. [1394.06] Jack: And the tin foil hat just goes straight on. [1397.06] Jack: And then you don't hear off Frank and I'm left to deal with it. [1400.06] Jack: I've just got like reams of like, [1403.06] Jack: wow, the aliens are coming. [1406.06] Jack: And I'm just like, [1408.06] Jack: yeah. [1411.06] Stephen: I did check on HTX and I don't see any mention of the MT12. [1416.06] Stephen: So I don't think they actually have added that yet. [1420.06] Jack: What about OpenTX? [1423.89] Stephen: That's not live anymore. [1425.89] Stephen: That's been dead for years, mate. [1428.89] Frank: Don't ever upgrade your transmitter. [1432.89] Frank: I've still got stuff that you need to rebind. [1438.89] Jack: Well, I don't. [1440.89] Jack: I'm not there anymore. [1441.89] Frank: Well, that's no excuse. [1445.89] Stephen: There's no excuse for not fixing my kit. [1448.89] Stephen: I don't want you to come over here. [1450.89] Frank: Well, he did ruin it all, so. [1454.89] Frank: What did you do, Jack? [1457.89] Jack: I updated that. [1459.89] Frank: You updated stuff, which didn't update the quads, obviously. [1463.89] Stephen: Oh, here we are. [1464.89] Stephen: The last OpenTX release, 22nd of April 2022. [1468.89] Frank: That was the day he ruined everything. [1476.89] Frank: What have you got there, Jack? [1479.89] Frank: You've got like a cotton bud. [1481.89] Frank: What are you doing? [1484.89] Frank: I think Clive in the chat said bring back fireworks and stuff. [1489.89] Frank: I wasn't sure if it was a lithium battery or like a little stick of dynamite. [1495.87] Frank: It's one or the other. [1499.31] Frank: Either way, it's a concern. [1502.75] Frank: A cause for concern. [1504.75] Frank: Let's have a look. [1505.75] Frank: You're not playing the new Logos, are you? [1509.75] Frank: No. [1510.75] Stephen: Oh, Frank, do you have a picture of the new battery technology that you dug out? [1515.75] Frank: Yeah, the new battery technology, the Flow batteries. [1518.75] Frank: I mean, they're not exactly new. [1520.75] Frank: They've been around for like... [1522.75] Frank: TSA approved, I think, as well. [1524.75] Frank: It's been 50 years or something stupid, but they're sort of becoming more useful than that. [1530.75] Frank: Is it? [1533.75] Jack: Is that NSA approved? [1536.75] Jack: Is Tony allowed to say some things? [1538.75] Jack: What, Black Dad? [1539.75] Stephen: Is Tony allowed to really open his mouth next to a microphone? [1543.75] Frank: I'll say yes. [1545.75] Frank: Oh, dear. [1547.75] Frank: What's wrong with the fact that battery was a thing? [1550.75] Frank: Yeah, absolutely. [1552.75] Jack: It's a ceramic part, isn't it? [1554.75] Jack: With bits of metal sticking out. [1557.75] Frank: Yeah, it was one of the first batteries ever. [1560.75] Frank: Here we go. [1561.75] Stephen: So, yeah, I think you're actually encouraged to take one of these on a flight, [1565.75] Stephen: and the TSA will say, yes, sir, please go through the gate. [1568.75] Stephen: That's fine. [1570.75] Stephen: If you're going to be allowed 10 lipos, you carry 25 of these, no problem, mate. [1577.75] Frank: So, it's got two types of vanadium that it flushes through a little cell down here. [1585.75] Frank: So, it's powering a little propeller in this video here. [1590.75] Stephen: It looks like a cross between a prop of a bomb and a dialysis. [1596.75] Stephen: Yeah, that's about right. [1598.75] Frank: Yeah, definitely let you through. [1600.75] Frank: How did it work? [1602.75] Frank: What the... [1605.75] Frank: So, like a normal battery, you've got your two dissimilar materials [1610.75] Frank: that have got a potential difference between them, [1612.75] Frank: and it's pushing electrons around the circuit. [1616.75] Frank: On this one, instead of it being like a lithium electrode [1620.75] Frank: and a different electrode that I can't remember actually what's in a lipo battery, [1625.75] Frank: but instead of the two electrodes, it's got two liquids that are the two dissimilar materials, [1633.75] Frank: which means that you can have a lot more without worrying about the sort of internal resistance of it. [1641.75] Frank: But, yeah, it's just a thing that it's been around for decades and decades and decades, [1649.75] Frank: but it's coming into the new cycle again because there's some companies being set up [1654.75] Frank: to build them on a really big scale for power grid energy storage, [1661.75] Frank: because we've got lots of renewable energy, which doesn't happen at the same time [1665.75] Frank: that we actually use the electricity. [1668.75] Frank: So, there's some big sort of energy storage systems being built, [1673.75] Frank: and there's a company, I presume, somewhere building these flow batteries for that. [1679.75] Frank: But because they're building that, there's been some press releases about it, [1684.75] Frank: and so there's like loads of little newspapers are picking it up and being like, [1688.75] Frank: oh, you're going to be able to fill up your phone at a petrol station or whatever. [1695.75] Frank: So, I imagine at some point there is going to be a news article about how you're going to be able to have a drone [1701.75] Frank: that lasts for hours and you fill it up in seconds. [1706.75] Frank: And at the moment, it's good for something that's stationary and stores a lot of electricity. [1714.75] Frank: It's not going to be good for drones any time soon, but that could change at some point. [1721.75] Stephen: What people don't realize about the grid is it's just a means of moving electricity. [1725.75] Stephen: There's zero storage in there. [1727.75] Stephen: So, all this stuff about renewables aren't consistently putting out the same amount of power. [1733.75] Stephen: You need to store the peaks and soak it up during the troughs. [1737.75] Stephen: And right now, no energy grid really does that. [1741.75] Stephen: You need to splice batteries into it and redesign old grid, which is where the sodium matter is. [1753.75] Jack: I would really, really like to make a mockumentary about how Tony did do Gatwick and make it [1764.75] Jack: and be like, he had the possibility, he lived close, he had life. [1770.75] Jack: I've looked into it. [1773.75] Jack: He had a monkey called Jack that could have built him this said drone that could fly in. [1783.75] Jack: He was sponsored by tech tanks that make tanks for boats. [1790.75] Frank: You need to scroll that thing across again. [1794.75] Jack: Proper, like, nutty bits of string with photos of Frank being like, yes, it must be Tony. [1807.75] Jack: It would be so funny to see if anyone takes it seriously. [1812.75] Jack: The police, after like 40 years, show up at Tony's house. [1816.75] Jack: It really does look like the diode battery. [1819.75] Stephen: Yeah, this is one that's featured in the press, apparently, Frank. [1824.75] Stephen: This is a large flow battery, apparently. [1827.75] Stephen: This is exactly the type of thing that the TSA want you to take on aircraft. [1832.75] Stephen: Nice. [1834.75] Jack: Yeah. [1836.75] Jack: No problem there. [1839.75] Jack: Tony would probably piss in the batteries and be like, I'm better to get more. [1846.75] Jack: He's making his own water at one point when I first met him. [1852.75] Frank: Yeah, I was actually. [1855.75] Stephen: Wow. [1856.75] Stephen: I don't know what you can say to that. [1861.75] Frank: It's this kind of water that you could fill up a bath with and safely have a toaster and kettle in there at the same time and you wouldn't. [1871.75] Frank: That sort of water. [1873.75] Frank: Yeah. [1874.75] Jack: Yeah. [1875.75] Jack: What is it like? [1876.75] Jack: Deep in your eyes by some sort of polymer. [1881.75] Frank: Literally pure. [1882.75] Frank: So it doesn't conduct electricity. [1886.75] Jack: Yes. [1887.75] Jack: Yeah. [1888.75] Jack: What was it in those tanks? [1890.75] Jack: Resin. [1891.75] Jack: Resin? [1892.75] Jack: Mm hmm. [1894.75] Frank: They still use it. [1896.75] Frank: Yeah, they still use it to polish off the water. [1898.75] Frank: They use it in like big places where they make glasses and stuff like that. [1903.75] Frank: So your glasses were made were finished like that. [1910.75] Frank: And apparently the resin, you can restore it by using some kind of acid on it or something. [1916.75] Frank: Hydrochloric acid. [1919.75] Frank: And it does something. [1920.75] Frank: I don't know. [1921.75] Frank: But I know that you can make it work again. [1925.75] Frank: It cleans windows really well. [1928.75] Frank: That's all I know. [1930.75] UNKNOWN: I just buy it now. [1931.75] Frank: I don't bother making it. [1933.75] Frank: Do you remember hearing about sodium batteries, Frank? [1938.75] Stephen: I've heard about some really giant building size batteries where they just got a whole [1946.75] Stephen: bunch of like rock salt or something and they just had sodium chloride in an industrial [1953.75] Stephen: quantities, like tons of it. [1955.75] Stephen: And they used it to keep entire towns running if their power was flaky. [1960.75] Stephen: Yeah. [1961.75] Stephen: I agree. [1962.75] Frank: They are actually starting to make these big battery places. [1968.75] Frank: Yeah. [1969.75] Frank: The sodium batteries, I've seen them. [1971.75] Frank: They're running laptops now and stuff like that. [1974.75] Frank: It's not like small scale. [1976.75] Stephen: So I think small scale sodium chemistry is like a bit fancy, but they do really need [1981.75] Stephen: big ones that are just like rock salt. [1984.75] Stephen: Well, I definitely think they've done laptop stuff. [1987.75] Frank: I don't know if you've got it down to phone size yet. [1992.75] Frank: I think it was in which firm as well. [1995.75] Frank: In ejection seats, there's molten salt batteries that use the heat from the rocket motor to [2003.75] Frank: melt the salt so then it becomes a battery again. [2007.75] Frank: But while it's like a room temperature, because it's all solid and not molten, it's not a battery, [2015.75] Frank: but it's really, really shelf stable. [2017.75] Frank: So it means it's not a battery until you set the ejector seat off and then it's a battery. [2024.75] Frank: This episode was recorded in front of a live online audience, downloaded and edited to make sense [2029.75] Frank: when it played audio only, censored to please the iTunes people, hosted on the internet, [2034.75] Frank: forwarded through to your podcast provider, downloaded, playing on your device, [2038.75] Frank: and is now playing in your ears. [2040.75] Frank: All thanks to our Patreons. [2042.75] Frank: Consider joining them and you'll also get other online benefits. [2045.75] Frank: Find out more at patreon.com forward slash let's drone out. [2050.75] Frank: There's some other interesting batteries that people are working on. [2054.75] Frank: I think it's aluminium air or iron air, which are going to be good for drones and aircraft and things [2065.75] Frank: because they're really, really lightweight because one of the electrodes is the atmosphere, [2071.75] Frank: which seems a bit weird. [2073.75] Frank: It's got to be current limiting, surely. [2078.19] Frank: You would imagine so, yeah. [2083.19] Frank: It's like all of these, it's like someone's got something working that like produces like a million power in a lab [2092.19] Frank: and then a press release is put out and everyone goes, ah, this is going to, if we scale it, [2098.19] Frank: if we multiply this by a million, it's going to be amazing. [2101.19] Frank: And ignore the lab conditions. [2103.19] Stephen: Yeah, exactly. [2105.19] Stephen: Let's ignore the fact they only got this working for like 20 minutes. [2110.19] Stephen: Running at minus 200 degrees or something. [2113.19] Stephen: Exactly, exactly. [2116.19] Frank: But, you know, batteries like transistors have got a pretty good track record of improving over time. [2126.7] Frank: It used to be just like piles of paper and vinegar. [2129.7] Stephen: So, you know, we have come a long way. [2132.7] Stephen: It's better objectively. [2134.7] Stephen: Is it right? [2135.7] Stephen: The Honda and who's the other company? [2138.7] Frank: Toyota are skipping their battery tech in cars. [2141.7] Frank: They're going straight to hydrogen, I think. [2145.7] Frank: So all this, this is a pet peeve I've got. [2148.7] Stephen: People always assume that hydrogen batteries are going to work and it's complete. [2154.7] Stephen: It's basically a bad faith marketing campaign by coal and oil suppliers that they can plumb hydrogen in over technology [2165.7] Stephen: that would have been used to hold gas and oil. [2168.7] Stephen: And it's a bad faith argument because hydrogen can get through containers. [2174.7] Stephen: Like things that would hold oil and water are porous to hydrogen. [2178.7] Stephen: Hydrogen can leak through a steel pipe and you just can't hold it in any way safely. [2184.7] Stephen: And the density that you need to run a car would just be a massive it would leak out really quickly. [2190.7] Stephen: Like you leave a bunch of cars with hydrogen cells with liquid hydrogen in a garage. [2197.7] Stephen: Then the garage would be full of hydrogen and the cars would have all hydrogen left in them. [2202.7] Stephen: But they are selling them though, right? [2204.7] Frank: There's hydrogen cars on the road. [2207.7] Frank: I think they come in and there has to be. [2211.7] Frank: Bob Lazar from Area 51 over hydrogen driven car. [2217.7] Stephen: Just look at the kind of the correlation of like dodgy snake oil people and the hydrogen brigade and like the crossover is pretty epic. [2230.7] Frank: Sorry, it wasn't from Area 51, it was S4. [2234.7] Stephen: This was what the oil and gas companies were saying when they were asked to like clean up their acts. [2238.7] Stephen: They're like, oh, we'll just pipe hydrogen into everyone's houses. [2241.7] Stephen: It'll be fine. [2242.7] Stephen: Like our plumbing's Victorian era is like barely safe for natural gas. [2247.7] Stephen: You try and put hydrogen through it. [2249.7] Stephen: We're all just dead. [2251.7] Stephen: Goodbye. [2253.7] Frank: 115 in Tony's. [2258.7] Frank: It's actually a thing. [2259.7] Jack: And we have to put an inhibitor in some of our heating systems because it builds up hydrogen. [2269.7] Stephen: That was just a corrosion inhibitor. [2273.7] Frank: Yeah, I thought it was. [2275.7] Frank: It's just plastic. [2277.7] Stephen: Because you might have mixed metal in your pipe work. [2282.7] Frank: This is like, it's unusual that we stray onto like a serious tangential topic. [2290.9] Stephen: Jesus happened again. [2292.9] Stephen: Can we just talk about YouTubers slapping each other? [2294.9] Frank: That was the plan, genuinely, was just to talk about the drama. [2303.9] Frank: And we were talking about how we're going to solve the sustainable energy crisis. [2308.9] Stephen: We should ship an ERC over to the US and he can tell people how it is and just go around and slap them. [2315.9] Stephen: You don't know how easy you've got it. [2317.9] Stephen: I had to tune this for 20 hours before I made a video. [2320.9] Stephen: I made 25p of the video, man. [2323.9] Stephen: You know, I was like, bam! [2325.9] Frank: Around the chops. [2331.9] Frank: Did everyone see Jack's new video? [2333.9] Frank: Can you play it, Jack? [2334.9] Frank: Or play a clip of it? [2335.9] Frank: I know it won't be good for the end. [2340.9] Stephen: Which means you haven't got to the end of it. [2341.9] Stephen: You haven't never seen it before. [2344.9] Frank: I didn't say end of it. [2345.9] Frank: I haven't got good internet. [2347.9] Stephen: Oh, right. [2351.9] Frank: That's nice. [2352.9] Stephen: Yeah, so check out Bright Until I Fly. [2355.9] Stephen: Let's just premiere something. [2359.9] Frank: A flight from the 1970s. [2363.9] Stephen: I know. [2364.9] Jack: How long ago? [2367.9] Frank: I bet you fly really well now and all the videos that are coming out are still you in your infancy or something. [2374.9] Jack: I know. [2376.9] Frank: How long ago was this one? [2379.9] Frank: Was it like two years ago? [2381.9] Frank: Three years? [2383.9] Frank: They come out every four years. [2387.9] Jack: Have you noticed, right? [2388.9] Jack: Did the whole this drawing frames completely made out of wood? [2392.9] Jack: Have they copied this again? [2394.9] Jack: I know. [2395.9] Jack: Again, again. [2396.9] Jack: We should really look out for ideas. [2399.9] Jack: The wooden copter, like, yeah. [2402.9] Jack: We literally made it completely out of wood and it was great. [2407.9] Jack: Yeah. [2410.9] Stephen: They don't seem to understand, like, why it keeps flying off as well. [2414.9] Stephen: Like, it kept building up, like, resonant peaks and then just fail-safing itself, saying, fly away. [2422.9] Frank: Did it get warbled? [2423.9] Stephen: Yeah, they didn't try and tune it. [2425.9] Stephen: They could probably have dampened it down, you know, curbed all of those resonant peaks if they'd have tried. [2433.9] Frank: So what's the story behind your video, Jack? [2437.9] Frank: How did it come about? [2438.9] Frank: Because you obviously didn't edit it. [2441.9] Frank: What do you mean? [2442.9] Stephen: He obviously didn't edit it. [2444.9] Stephen: How can you tell? [2445.9] Stephen: How can you tell? [2446.9] Stephen: Because it says it in the description, but I was trying to... [2449.9] Stephen: Well, I was going to say, because we saw it on YouTube, like, instead of Jack's hard drive. [2455.9] Frank: It's not a series of slide shows on an overhead projector. [2461.9] Jack: I like our HPs and Tony's very fond of our APs. [2468.9] Jack: Hello, please. [2475.9] Jack: Sorry, time. [2476.9] Jack: You're my best customers. [2479.9] Jack: I come out every four years like clockwork. [2486.9] Stephen: I like the fact that you're a Team Brighton FPV pilot. [2491.9] Jack: I know. [2493.9] Jack: Well, you are. [2495.9] Jack: Yeah, that's what we used to be called. [2498.9] Frank: Hello, Zoe. [2499.9] Frank: Hello, Zoe. [2500.9] Stephen: Good to see you doing the three new rips. [2503.9] Stephen: That's cool. [2504.9] Frank: Very cool to hear about all your Mac one and DCL stuff. [2510.9] Stephen: Very cool. [2511.9] Stephen: Congrats. [2512.9] Jack: I'm glad you're doing all right. [2514.9] Jack: Me and Frank were worried how you were doing at one point. [2521.9] Jack: Yeah, you look like you're doing well. [2525.9] Jack: Indeed. [2526.9] Jack: Good luck. [2527.9] Frank: You have to come on and have a chat with Zoe if you want. [2531.9] Frank: I don't know what time you've been over there. [2533.9] Jack: I'm annoyed that you got Baby Shark stuck in my head earlier. [2537.9] Jack: Oh, fish. [2538.9] Jack: But it's unforgivable. [2545.92] Stephen: Yeah, so there's also... [2546.92] Stephen: She's been working on a preset for 3D flying to make it easier. [2550.92] Stephen: So now I think if you run beta flight, there's a 3D preset that Zoe's worked on. [2556.92] Stephen: Oh, nice. [2557.92] Frank: Get up and running. [2559.92] Frank: Yeah. [2560.92] Stephen: That is good. [2562.92] Stephen: Less faffing around. [2563.92] Stephen: I did notice that the dead zone she's got for arming is like two. [2570.92] Stephen: She's got like... [2572.92] Stephen: I think it's a range of like two or three for arming in the middle. [2577.92] Stephen: So she must have like one heck of a detent in the middle of that stick because... [2584.92] Jack: Yeah. [2585.92] Jack: You used to be able to do it with the old Tyrannus. [2587.92] Jack: You used to have a massive indent. [2589.92] Jack: Or if you're a scumbag, you fly spectrum and it makes a horrible beeping noise at you. [2597.92] Stephen: Wow, she's just a ninja. [2599.92] Stephen: She's not got a detent or anything. [2601.92] Stephen: She's just a ninja. [2603.92] Jack: Or she arms it and then wiggles sticks. [2608.92] Frank: Have we got any one booked in next Thursday? [2612.92] Frank: Not next Thursday. [2614.92] Frank: We do it next Thursday, Zoe. [2617.92] Frank: Well, there's a tip. [2618.92] Stephen: Forget that damping grease, the fancy radio master. [2621.92] Stephen: She uses butter, apparently. [2623.92] Stephen: Literally got butter on her sticks. [2626.92] Jack: Tony says that's not very vegan, though, for you. [2629.92] Jack: It's not very vegan, though. [2632.92] Jack: It's very smokey. [2634.92] Frank: I'd lick it if it was vital, aren't I? [2636.92] Frank: Oh. [2639.92] Stephen: Tony. [2640.92] Stephen: And Bluejay, they've dropped an update, which fixes 3D mode as well. [2644.92] Stephen: So, yeah, Bluejay. [2646.92] Stephen: She's not even kidding. [2647.92] Stephen: Look, we've got the full blown tips of how to do it here. [2650.92] Stephen: There you go. [2651.92] Stephen: She's separating the butter from... [2653.92] Stephen: You get the milk solids out, so you get the thin oil off the top of the butter. [2657.92] Stephen: And then a Q-tip in the oil. [2660.92] Stephen: And bam! [2662.92] Stephen: Butter sticks. [2663.92] Stephen: Get in. [2664.92] Stephen: Oh, my word. [2665.92] Stephen: The best smelling radio around. [2667.92] Frank: That sounds brilliant. [2668.92] Stephen: No one will refuse. [2670.92] Stephen: Oh, no, go round to this. [2674.92] Frank: That'd be a cool name, Butter Sticks FPV. [2678.92] Stephen: Clarify butter. [2679.92] Stephen: Yeah, Caroline Tyler's absolutely right. [2681.92] Stephen: This is what the Indian restaurants do for their frying. [2684.92] Stephen: They use clarified butter. [2687.92] Jack: Ooh, it's dull. [2688.92] Jack: Please. [2690.92] Stephen: No, that's lentils, mate. [2691.92] Stephen: G is clarified butter. [2693.92] Stephen: So they separate out all the solids so they don't burn. [2695.92] Stephen: And you do after frying it. [2697.92] Frank: Trying to be clever. [2698.92] Frank: Backfires. [2699.92] Frank: No game. [2700.92] Stephen: That's not right. [2701.92] Frank: You transmit. [2702.92] Jack: I'm sorry. [2704.92] Jack: Sorry, dude. [2705.92] Jack: Sorry, dude. [2706.92] Jack: I shouldn't. [2707.92] Jack: No, it's fine. [2708.92] Jack: It's all good. [2709.92] Jack: I'm not that awake anyway. [2712.92] Jack: Is that because you were up late doing your streaming last night? [2717.92] Jack: Yeah, I know. [2718.92] Jack: I think it was on... [2719.92] Jack: Oh, man. [2720.92] Jack: It's the Wednesday night show now, is it? [2722.92] Jack: What happened there? [2723.92] Jack: Triumphantly. [2725.92] Jack: Yeah, don't you know that once we get to episode 450, I'm out of it. [2729.92] Jack: I'm done. [2730.92] Jack: I'm retiring. [2731.92] Stephen: I'm done 10 years. [2732.92] Stephen: He was calling it quits. [2734.92] Stephen: He was done a hundred months ago and he's twice as done now. [2738.92] Stephen: What's wrong with that episode two? [2741.92] Stephen: Yeah, I don't know. [2742.92] Stephen: He meant to live. [2744.92] Frank: Let's just get to the 10 year thing. [2748.92] Jack: Literally be frank working me like a muppet from underneath this desk. [2755.92] Jack: I just follow the hand movements. [2758.92] Jack: The noise comes out. [2760.92] Frank: Yeah, you're streaming with curry. [2765.42] Frank: I only get the stick in my hands. [2767.42] Frank: You should plug your stream, Jane. [2769.42] Frank: You back stream with a curry kit on a Wednesday night doing weird voices. [2774.42] Frank: There were no weird voices. [2776.42] Frank: I was very disappointed. [2777.42] Frank: Oh, man. [2778.42] Frank: You've got to do the weird voices. [2780.42] Jack: Well, they had paid voice out. [2783.42] Jack: It's not our fault. [2785.42] UNKNOWN: What? [2786.42] Jack: You don't get to talk. [2788.42] Jack: No, we just stomped the case and that was it. [2792.42] Frank: By Jack mainly just brute forcing all the puzzles. [2796.42] Frank: That seems to be the stream is curry kind of intricately trying to work out [2802.42] Frank: are some theories about how this whole system works. [2805.42] Jack: And Jack can get the correct resolution of his canvas on the stream. [2815.42] Jack: The beginning of the stream was entertaining. [2818.42] Jack: The monitors and switch them around and then it worked. [2823.42] Jack: It's like a mid stream. [2826.42] Frank: For the first half an hour, maybe both Jack and curry. [2834.42] Frank: About sort of the full height of the screen and about a quarter of the screen [2839.42] Frank: wide is their entire faces. [2843.42] Frank: This may be ridiculous, but I don't know where this was broadcast and I had no [2848.42] Stephen: idea this was happening. [2850.42] Stephen: Where is this happening? [2853.42] Stephen: Was this Twitch or something? [2855.42] Jack: This is what it was like. [2858.42] Jack: Oh, my God. [2861.42] Jack: Welcome to 1997, where two grandads get on the internet for the first time. [2872.42] Jack: I gained seven foot. [2879.42] Frank: What the hell? [2881.42] Jack: Oh, dear. [2882.42] Jack: You guys, what have you done? [2885.42] Jack: The link. [2887.42] Jack: The link is in the link. [2891.42] Frank: It will be twitch.TV slash whatever your channel is. [2898.42] Jack: I said by five by four, it's two point three. [2904.42] Frank: I think we should just stream it like that. [2907.42] Stephen: I think we should track. [2908.42] Stephen: Zoe says, wait, where am I now? [2911.42] Stephen: What year is it even? [2913.42] Stephen: Are you my dad? [2915.42] Jack: Why did you leave Zoe in the mall? [2918.42] Stephen: Why did you leave Zoe in the mall? [2933.42] Stephen: Jack refuses to answer. [2935.42] Jack: He's waiting for his legal counsel. [2938.42] Jack: More opportunity there. [2942.42] Jack: It was the 90s. [2944.42] Stephen: Yeah. [2945.42] Stephen: Jack didn't have a chance. [2948.42] Jack: Yeah, I can't even spell 3D. [2954.42] Frank: I'll have it rolled on. [2958.42] Frank: Well, I'm smelling. [2965.42] Frank: Very, very last minute bit of actual vaguely serious news. [2972.42] Frank: Well, adjacent FPV adjacent, I'd say the BMFA are having a question [2979.42] Frank: time stream next Tuesday where you can submit questions. [2984.42] Frank: They're getting people from the CIA to come along. [2986.42] Frank: They're getting the BMFA board members to come along and you can [2990.42] Frank: submit questions to be asked to that sort of panel of people. [2997.42] Frank: So you can go to it 80 stands for in the air tonight. [3003.42] Frank: BMFA UK and you can submit questions for the question time. [3009.42] Frank: I've submitted a couple broadcast live or on YouTube or anything [3014.42] Frank: like that. [3015.42] Frank: I think they broadcast it on Zoom. [3019.42] Frank: I think it gets put out on YouTube later. [3023.42] Jack: Yeah. [3024.42] Jack: Tell me the link so I can write one of the questions. [3027.42] Jack: Did Tony done Jack Wick? [3030.42] Frank: Don't tell me what he think. [3035.42] Stephen: Oh, I mean, there's plenty of evidence of him standing on a van [3040.42] Frank: with some kind of apparatus. [3042.42] Jack: Have you got the video footage for that mockumentary? [3048.42] Jack: Who's got that video? [3050.42] Frank: Hopefully. [3051.42] Frank: There's appeal to the public. [3053.42] Frank: We need the footage from Sky News of Tony and his FPV gun laws on [3059.42] Frank: top of his van. [3060.42] Frank: I'm not going to come for a few months. [3064.42] Frank: I need another break. [3070.42] Jack: I would be so funny. [3074.42] Frank: I think if you have the bloody t-shirt, you keep going on about, [3078.42] Frank: you're going to. [3080.42] Jack: Tony done Gatwick. [3083.42] Frank: I'm just going to turn up one day and you'll be wearing it, [3086.42] Frank: your basket. [3088.42] Jack: That's the plan. [3090.42] Jack: It's all fun and games, us joking about it. [3094.42] Jack: But if anyone actually took that seriously, it would be awful. [3099.42] Frank: It's all fun and games until Tony gets black bagged. [3102.42] Stephen: Yeah. [3103.42] Stephen: Tony, if you considered buying one of these new flow batteries, [3106.42] Stephen: mate, it might really help the case. [3110.42] Frank: Along with the airsoft weapons, the X-Class, all of these things [3116.42] Frank: around your house are going to do really well. [3120.42] Stephen: Also, what's really in demand right now is because it's just [3124.42] Stephen: coming out of winter, what they want are some balaclava models [3127.42] Stephen: to take pictures. [3129.42] Stephen: So get some photos of you modeling the latest balaclava. [3133.42] Stephen: That would be really helpful. [3135.42] Jack: Thank you. [3138.42] Jack: You've been literally let shown out. [3141.42] Jack: You've been joined by our Lord of Master, Andrew Frank. [3144.42] Frank: Bye. [3146.42] Jack: The man with the moustache, Steven. [3148.42] Jack: Cheers. [3149.42] Jack: Good night. [3150.42] Jack: My darling wife, Tony. [3152.42] Frank: Bye. [3154.42] Jack: I've been bright until I fly. [3155.42] Jack: Thank you very much for tuning in. [3157.42] Jack: A massive shout out to our Patreons. [3159.42] Jack: Like and subscribe. [3161.42] Jack: Thank you. [3162.42] Jack: Leave a comment. [3163.42] Frank: Bye. [3164.42] Jack: And if you only touch your nipples, don't think of me. [3169.42] Stephen: Telemetry lost.
