[17.72] Jack: Sam dama bring on the sex box. [21.52] Jack: Hello and welcome. [55.26] Stephen: Once again, Curry Kitten has turned up admirably early. [58.7] Curry: This is this is my way. If I turn up on time, that's late. Always have to be 15 minutes early for everything. That is on time. I've tried, but I failed. [69.14] Curry: Disappointing could do better. It will send your report. [72.5] Curry: Is that a new screen in the background with the video games on? [76.3] Curry: That is my little you've heard, of course, of my very famous Tech Tuesday reviews. [81.38] Curry: I'm a fan of illustration. Yes, it's one of them. [86.86] Curry: Oh, it's got a little 64 by 64 pixel, big pixel thing. Very big pixel. Yeah, it's a jump of LED pixels. Looks like it's a bit of a light cannon. If you crank it up. [102.74] Stephen: Yeah, it's fun, though. Hello, Jack. Hello. [106.46] Jack: Hello. [109.06] Curry: Sorry, I'm late. Um, yeah, I, you know, I've been to hospital and back. Yeah, I'm surprised you went to hospital and they said, Yeah, you can go go home. You look like it should have held gay, gay, gay. [124.06] Jack: Yeah, I'm all right. Yeah, no, it's just a long old long drive. And yeah, I'm, I'm currently I'm doing the [136.3] Jack: zoom thing of I am in my pants as well. Well, we thank you for at least wearing pants, because it could be worse. Yes, I know it could be could be absolutely horrendous. I'm still building the 3d printer, I would show it to you, but I cannot move from my current spot. [157.7] Jack: I picked up some [160.58] Jack: I picked up some [162.7] Jack: HGO two's from magical pencil. They're very lovely. I might I'm a little bit concerned though, because I've got a stigmatism in my left eye. I'm I'm I'm finding the sort of adjusting the prescription not quite. And I'm slightly concerned that it may or may not give me [191.34] Jack: I might be [195.02] Jack: I'm back to the diopters I ordered a new diopter because one fell out. [204.62] Jack: Like, you know, you got the the frame, it's the same company that you recommended, you know, the real lenses in your video curry kitten, and they're a Hong Kong company and you send them weirdly enough, I contacted them and I was like, I only need one lens. [220.66] Jack: Because my prescription changed could have really done with two and I could order the lenses individually through them directly cheaper than just getting a set of [235.46] Jack: two new ones, which I thought was really weird. I was like, yeah, of course, my left eyes that the worst I that's the one with the studentism. [246.98] Jack: I hope I'm pronouncing that correctly. But yeah, so I'm worried I'm going to get headaches. [255.5] Curry: You don't have them on for like more than three, four minutes at a time, do you? So hopefully not. [262.54] Jack: Yeah, true. It seems it seems all right, because you can like over you can up the prescription on it and it seemed pretty clear. It just didn't quite seem right. It's a bit weird. [275.7] Jack: What's with the new goggles, then? [278.62] Jack: The other ones were, well, Magic Pencil has got a set of [288.82] Jack: HD zeros, which are lovely. They're so comfortable. And yeah, and I've got the three cores. And [302.18] Jack: what had happened, I was having some problems. My video kept cutting off. And it would go from like, whatever watching just a black screen. And what it was was, they they put a little bit of glue in the front of your goggles for the ribbon cable that connects the DVR to the to the actual [328.74] Jack: LCD drivers. And because it was just a horrible angle and glues. And it was like a 90 degree angle. It was really, like horrible crease. Yeah, perfect. [344.78] Jack: Perfect. You know, and obviously, like, yeah, and that crease eventually just cracked and just split there. And it didn't help that, like, my goggles had been opened several times because obviously it had [364.62] Jack: because they're V threes. I had the whole power issue with the rolling light shutter and everything. And it was like remove this one component. And then people were still having problems. And then it was like, yeah, now you've got to remove another component of the DVR board. And, you know, and stuff like that. So eventually, and then I sort of like got tired of, I [394.62] Jack: put in a regulator in order to run the fan because now and again, you know, I'd have like a, you know, bigger three s pack or, you know, use a four four s pack to like regulate, you know, like, for a little pocket back and stuff and putting the fan on the winter and stuff. It meant that I didn't have to keep plugging the balance JST in and stuff. [423.06] Jack: So yeah, I'd like done a few mods, had to open a few times. And eventually, it just cracked. And I was able to like tap and people look I look like I was just like hitting myself in the head. [438.22] Stephen: But you're not replace the ribbon cables, because ribbon cables should be commodity items shouldn't they should be? [443.18] Jack: Yeah, I did. I the lovely Patrick, if you email fat shark support, they'll ignore you for the longest time. And eventually, the lovely Patrick from New Zealand or Australia. I'm not too sure. Yes, somewhere down there. He got back to me, sent me a new ribbon cable. [473.18] Jack: For free. And I was able to then repair my repair my my beloved fat sharks. And yeah, I mean, I did I did repair my ribbon cable and got it working. And I borrowed a pair of goggles, the kind of emergency things from painless. [500.98] Jack: But I don't know whether you can see. Yeah, it was a ribbon cable. What I'd done was I scraped away and you tried to do some tiny wrapping wire and bridge. Yeah. And it worked fair play to it. And then I realized, oh, the glue, because it was in the depths of winter was UV curable. And there wasn't enough sun. [530.98] Jack: I just had to I just had to leave it in there. But you can see the horrible see that like 90 degree angle, something like that just should be it really is a very steep 20 p on an express horrible angle. Yeah, it's a very weird one, because obviously it does the whole like one one sides exposed thing and it flips to the other one and doesn't have a twist in the cable. And also it's staggered. [559.3] Stephen: So it's very sort of, you know, like, s, you know, lead shaped cable. So I just have a weird one. I think over time in radios, people speaking real issue with those, if you look at a lot of radio reviews through like 23 and 24 people pushing manufacturers to stop using ribbon cables for that reason, and to move on to using just wire connectors with, you know, [590.87] Stephen: like, like, either JSTs or DuPonts, because yeah, yeah, Mini Mo let's call it Kiko blade anything, anything that isn't a ribbon cable, because the number of cycles you get off a piece of wire is immeasurably larger, and the fatigue rating is just so much higher for a bit of wire versus ribbon cable. So if you are going to ever take it apart more than, say, two times, it's really nice to not have ribbon cables. [620.95] Jack: Speaking of goggleness, Curry, you released a new video, IPC. [626.47] Curry: Yeah, I showed you some stuff last week, although some of it was a bit of a slideshow. That is my video of me flying the RunCam VRX module, which I then found out records into my goggles automatically, which is quite handy. But I didn't know that at the time. So after two flights, I took the SD card out of my goggles and put it in the GoPro because I didn't have a [650.79] Curry: card in there. Yeah, that was all right. That was that was a while ago. And that was actually last this time last week, I think I flew it first time. [661.07] Curry: This week, as the last week, I've been playing with the DJI 04 quad, which does seem magical in what I can do. [672.11] Curry: Yeah, I, I was trying to make it like go far enough or behind enough stuff to actually make the video degrade, which is tricky because it's only a 65 mil whoop. So I can only fly out like a minute before I have to come back again. But I flew it down this I tried lots of things I flew it like round the trees and ran there. It's like, okay, nothing's happening. It's still 50 megabits a second. And I've got full signal, I eventually flew it [700.99] Curry: down this track. And this track sort of goes like this left and right. And there's trees either side. So as you go further, there are more and more trees lined up. So I'm going along going along going along. And I'm looking directly at the little four bars. And it dropped a bar. And I'm like, Yes, I've got it. I've got something here. What I hadn't noticed is that the Express LRS receiver was now at minus 107 dB. Because it wasn't enjoying the fact I was behind a lot of trees. [730.99] Stephen: So it when the radio squeaked like RC critical, I was like, Oh, turn around. At that point, I dropped it down to two bars. So welcome to the reason why a LRS receivers have one watt output. It's DJI. It's you can't you can't get their own analog DJI. You need to have one watt output power because it's actually pretty good. [753.39] Curry: I do. Unfortunately, I only had my I had two problems here. I had a radio master pocket. Max was 250 milliwatts, I think. And I was using a 65 mil woop. And the LRS antenna was just this piece of wire underneath it. So you're flying out with the null point pointing directly at you all the way. So the fact he got that far was actually quite good. [776.99] Curry: Well, well done. Have you still got the weight? Yeah, yeah. [782.67] Curry: Can't ask for that. No, it got back because it's like, you know what these things are like with a little 300 mile battery. You're like, Yeah, go, go, go. And after a minute, it's like, I think it wants to die now. Yeah, that's not good. Yeah. Why do I need 65% to hover? That's a bit much. [800.59] Stephen: Even it's your birthday soon. Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna be disappearing for my birthday. I'm gonna be having a bit of a party out and about. Oh, Steve time part time. If you want to re celebrate your birthday with the drone. You sprung this on me. I haven't made any plans. I generally the older I get, the less I feel like celebrating, the more it just becomes here we are again. Okay. Well, I guess [830.83] Jack: maybe have slightly more beer than usual. And that's about it. Yeah, I mean, we could do that. Maybe we could, I don't know, we can, I can always come to London. And we just find someone with a big enough beer garden that we can fly some whoops and get kicked out from sounds lovely. I think we should probably have an actual planning session for this possibly with people who are eligible for planning privileges. I think mine and Jack's [860.43] Jack: might have been resented. Yeah, well, I think I think Frank Frank did send a message. He said, running late, I'll be there as soon as I can, but we'll be at least five minutes past. I sent the message that I said now for the last pass, it didn't look like it would gone through. I don't know where Frank is now. That's because I said [883.47] Curry: so much for five minutes late. I was here early, as on time as I call it, sitting here on my own. [890.83] Stephen: Curry, you were making noises about building some kind of flying dildo. [896.51] Stephen: Was I? Rocket board? Oh, that thing. I just noticed it. It popped up on Bangor. [906.67] Stephen: Every year, there's like a different trend. Like a couple of years ago, it was long range. And then [910.99] Stephen: like, you've got these tiny little like two, two and a half inch, not quite camera drone, but sort of got guards on things. And then, you know, we're up with rocket quads, aren't we? This year's trend is the rocket quad. [927.23] Curry: It seems to be and it goes back much further than that, of course, when you had like, the gimbal, the the idea of this soft mounted motor. That was a good one. [937.31] Curry: And yeah, a bunch of other stuff like that, either the tilted motors, if everyone remembers. And yeah, now it's rocket quad. I thought when I first saw this, because it just popped up on an ad, I hadn't noticed on the site or anything. I thought it's going to be some isheen special. [953.23] Stephen: But apparently, it says it's an iFlight thing. Well, is it iFlight or is that an iFlight rendition of Chris Ross's thing? Because he's collaborated with iFlight in the past. [964.11] Curry: So it's like a Chris Rosser frame or an iFlight frame that all the information I know is currently on the screen. [972.27] Curry: And then I sent it to the group chat. [975.87] Stephen: Let me see. I remember Chris Rosser releasing some yeah, HS5. That's the codename for Chris Rosser's one. Yeah, yeah. So it's already a sale from UnmanTech. [985.95] Stephen: If you want to go buying it there, that's wow. 38 pounds. That's not bad, is it? It's not bad for a frame. [997.07] Stephen: Because it has $100 million on my screen. Yeah, US $500. That says excluding fat. I don't know why they've got an ex-fat price. But even if you throw fat on it, that's 50 quid. [1010.43] Stephen: So that should be fine. [1013.79] Jack: Oh, yeah, tariffs. That's the Trump tax. Are we allowed to talk about tariffs? [1021.47] Jack: Yeah, like I received a message from Skystars. And he was talking, are you guys going to talk about the tariffs? And I was like, we're British. [1038.75] Stephen: Well, it didn't lie a death of empire thing a hundred years ago, didn't we, in America is just rolling through the whole death of empire thing now. [1048.99] Curry: It's going to be pretty serious in terms of FPP retailers in the States actually keeping afloat, because they're at the point like some people already putting their prices up. [1062.19] Curry: And I know MadsTech did a video about this. This is terrible. This is the worst thing ever. But I've got to say, it's like 50-50. It's a gray area here because it's like, if you sell all your stock off cheap, or normal prices, then how can you replace it? [1079.15] Curry: So I almost think like, put the prices up just to see if anyone has the appetite to buy at that price. And if they do, then maybe you can reorder it. [1088.19] Curry: But I don't think anybody's going to buy anything at the moment, because the way that Trump goes, it's like, oh, I've changed the tax and I've done the tariff and I'm changing it again tomorrow. [1098.83] Curry: And it's like up, down, up, down, up, down. Or if you're my pension, like 30% wiped out or whatever, but hopefully it comes back. [1106.75] Jack: Cory, you know that animated screen behind you? [1110.43] Curry: Yes. [1111.55] Jack: Why isn't there any space bear cutscenes in it? I'm deeply disappointed. [1116.43] Curry: Because I haven't configured it yet, because I did my unboxing, and then I wanted to film setting up, but then my camera ran out of battery. [1124.75] Curry: But apparently it's got this like a tracked mode. So that's what it's doing. It's also got this thing where you can make it respond to voices. [1134.19] Jack: Oh, you got like a graphic equalizer of voice. [1136.67] Curry: And a reflection of this screen in there. [1139.87] Stephen: Weird thing is there's so many frames that are apparently defective, but it's quite cheap. I mean, would you give it a punt? I'd probably give it a punt. How wrong can you go with a bit of carbon? [1149.63] Curry: It depends what the defect is. You know, we've got this quadcopter, but it's only got three arms. It's quite a big defect. [1155.79] Curry: I'm counting to four. [1157.95] Curry: That looks all right. What's the defect? [1159.55] Stephen: Cosmetic defects. I mean, come on. It's not pretty. It's going to be much less than pretty after it hits the ground. [1167.55] Stephen: But over 100 mile an hour, I can tell you that much. So you've got 25 quid for that. And then I think the other parts were. [1177.07] Stephen: Okay, so that's the carbon bit. And then you want the dildo shape thing. [1180.35] Stephen: You need the 3D prints as well. So there you are. [1185.39] Jack: I mean, the cosmetic defects. I mean, does it really matter when it's who's going to see it when it's inside you? [1193.07] Jack: I suppose a doctor. [1195.23] Curry: You guys been out this week? [1196.35] Curry: Have you ever been all right? [1198.27] Stephen: I've actually been working out in a disgusting image of some stupid self-help book. [1204.99] Stephen: I've decided to do exercise instead of flying, and I'm feeling pretty good for it. [1209.07] Stephen: So I should probably have done some flying because I'm on a flying related podcast. [1213.31] Stephen: But FX is really nice and sunny, and I didn't want to just stand in the field with sweaty goggles on. [1217.79] Stephen: I thought I'd make everything sweaty instead. [1220.27] Curry: That's another good thing. [1222.51] Curry: If I was rating goggles, the good old HD zeros also come up very good on their fans. [1229.79] Curry: I've never got like lens seen by sweaty people for sweaty people. [1234.67] Curry: Not like the DJI integras that I was using, because I'm like hiking 40 minutes into a forest. [1242.11] Curry: And I'm like, oh, all sweaty and you put the goggles on. [1245.47] Stephen: Yeah, DJI integras are like those cars with lots of fake air scoops that don't do anything. [1250.91] Stephen: It looks like they've got a couple of massive air intakes, but it's all just molding. [1254.35] Stephen: It doesn't do anything at all. [1256.83] Curry: There's some little sort of noise that sounds like a fan, [1261.47] Curry: but it's like some like child from 50 feet away going, [1266.19] Curry: so I can't really feel that. [1267.31] Curry: They're just useless. [1268.51] Stephen: The big box goggles, the V1, V2, or goggles too, I can't remember. [1274.43] Stephen: Anyway, the big ones, they actually had a decent fan in them, [1277.95] Stephen: but then they made them a lot smaller. [1279.55] Stephen: And I think they just kind of, they forewent a lot of the cooling. [1284.67] Curry: It's a shame, baby, rubbish. [1286.67] Curry: In the summer when you're just sweaty and you get even sweeter when you put your goggles on. [1291.95] Curry: It's Frank, just five minutes late. [1294.59] Stephen: Only five minutes late, Frank. [1296.19] Stephen: Well done. [1297.79] Frank: Yeah. [1299.55] Frank: Well, I don't know. [1301.07] Frank: Turns out when a Domino's delivery lorry, or like Arctic delivery lorry and a bus [1307.95] Frank: have an argument on the road away from work, it makes it harder to get home. [1312.51] Frank: Oh, yeah. [1313.31] Stephen: Just loads of jams from a shovel. [1315.15] Stephen: Pizza ingredients into their face, fights each other. [1318.59] Curry: Like pounds of people looting it for pizza, as is going along. [1323.15] Curry: So, Frank, have you been flying? [1325.71] Frank: I haven't been flying yet, but plans to go flying are materializing every weekend. [1334.03] Frank: Potentially more than once. [1337.55] Frank: We'll find out. [1338.83] Frank: A report about AXP. [1340.35] Frank: But in the Discord over the past week, over the past few days even, [1348.11] Frank: Failsafe has posted in Discord about FPV Drone Fest for this year. [1353.63] Frank: Yes. [1354.83] Stephen: I was thinking Brighton. [1355.55] Stephen: What is worth mentioning? [1356.59] Stephen: Was it? [1356.99] Stephen: No, not Brighton. [1359.47] Frank: Not Brighton. [1360.03] Frank: Somewhere in the coast. [1360.75] Frank: It's Dover. [1362.11] Frank: Brain. [1363.15] Frank: White Cliffs of Dover. [1364.91] Frank: I don't think it's potentially at the White Cliffs, but it's definitely round Dover way. [1369.07] Stephen: I think if they do a punch out, it potentially will be by the White Cliffs. [1373.79] Frank: Well, exactly. [1374.75] Frank: If you go far enough. [1375.79] Frank: But there is very tightly controlled airspace around Dover. [1380.43] Frank: They're still working on that, judging by their announcement. [1383.47] Stephen: Excellent wording, Frank. [1384.83] Frank: Yeah. [1386.27] Frank: So FPV Drone Fest 25, 8th and 10th of August, dates subject to airspace approval, [1394.27] Frank: is the announcement. [1396.27] Frank: So there we go. [1397.63] Frank: So it sounds like they've got the venue sorted, but they're still working on the permissions [1404.43] Frank: that you would need to fly in the airspace, which is very tightly controlled. [1408.83] Frank: But I mean, that is a very interesting venue. [1413.63] Stephen: I think Brighton is called Server for each year they do it in a event. [1417.31] Stephen: What is the venue? [1419.47] Curry: Can you give us anything? [1420.75] Frank: Well, they haven't announced it officially, but they've put some photos out and you can [1427.31] Frank: work out where whereabouts it is within the port of Dover. [1431.79] Frank: So that's the challenge. [1435.47] Curry: It sounds like a fun guest if you're unfamiliar with the port of Dover. [1439.63] Curry: I know there's some cliffs and there's some sea other than there. [1443.15] Stephen: It sounds like Frank literally went out with a camera, possibly like a 360 on a pole, and [1449.79] Stephen: just walked round Dover in circles of increasing radius after he had the announcement. [1454.43] Stephen: And now he needs to put it together. [1457.87] Frank: Yeah, yeah. [1458.67] Frank: But yeah, I'll be interested to hear the full details when they're announced, [1462.51] Frank: but that's at least something to put in the calendar, especially as it is the weekend [1467.31] Frank: before LDO's 10th anniversary episode. [1471.87] Frank: So there's a fair chance that coal will be over in the UK. [1478.19] Frank: And then there's that event on, which is a sort of one-off chance to go flying in that [1483.23] Frank: particular bit of airspace. [1484.51] Frank: So that all sounds very exciting. [1487.07] Frank: And we said we'd do a load of sites along the coast. [1491.63] Curry: In my calendar for August 2025, I have possible LDO things down for the 9th and 10th. [1497.55] Curry: Is that still a thing? [1498.67] Curry: Really? [1499.07] Curry: Yeah. [1499.31] Frank: Oh, yes. [1501.55] Frank: That is when we originally said we were going to do LDO no. [1505.95] Frank: And then LDO no after game, but then it seems like multiple FPV events have been organized [1515.87] Frank: for that weekend. [1516.83] Frank: So we haven't actually organized anything. [1519.39] Stephen: Could we get an LDO gazebo one of these events, preferably a gazebo with three or four broken [1526.43] Stephen: legs that's made mainly out of tape? [1529.55] Frank: That's definitely doable. [1531.31] Frank: I definitely have one of those. [1532.83] Frank: Don't be fizzy. [1534.67] Frank: The flags speak all across it. [1540.94] Jack: I don't know whether I'm allowed to say this, but Digby Dan has a medical grade trailer [1547.9] Jack: with the batteries. [1548.54] Curry: A medical grade trailer? [1550.46] Curry: Is it like something in a stretcher, a carry patient's hospital bed? [1555.1] Stephen: Is it an ambulance? [1556.62] Stephen: Is it a hospital bed? [1558.7] Stephen: I don't know. [1562.22] Jack: Yeah, it's like proper. [1565.1] Jack: It was, we've done some automotive, can you say automotive? [1572.54] Jack: We've done some archaeology on it and discovered that it was a purpose-built COVID test. [1580.38] Jack: Oh, right. [1581.26] Jack: Trailer. [1581.98] Jack: I see. [1582.46] Jack: And it has, it had like, it's had its air, positive air pressure, light filler thing [1591.34] Jack: removed, that's gone, and the fridges, the biological fridges have been removed. [1595.74] Jack: Well, I imagine you're so keen to be near that, Jack. [1601.02] Jack: Dan, text me, Dan! [1602.86] Curry: I'd say it's like the worst place to hang around. [1604.7] Stephen: There's no one gets much for you, Jack and Joe. [1607.18] Stephen: As someone immunocompromised, would you like to visit my dirty medical grade, [1611.34] Stephen: possibly human waste trailer? [1613.26] Curry: Yeah, wear proper shoes because the needles are a bit pointy. [1618.7] Frank: Yeah, but this is, you know, Jack is someone who decided to go to the sewer to fly his drone, [1626.22] Frank: so, you know, he's got form for this. [1631.26] Frank: I've got form. [1632.78] Stephen: It looks clean. [1633.82] Stephen: What is the purpose of a trailer? [1635.98] Curry: What would it be used for? [1639.34] Curry: Is it mobile gazebo? [1640.54] Curry: Is this what we're talking about? [1645.34] Jack: Well, I just, you know, I just saw Fraser, [1651.1] Jack: wedge some stuff in there. [1654.22] Frank: I feel like this is Jack's Airbnb on wheels for all events. [1661.18] Frank: The other event that has been announced for that same weekend, [1665.1] Jack: mobile podcast studio, that's the word I was looking for. [1672.06] Jack: Okay. [1674.3] Jack: Has Wi-Fi and CCTV. [1677.02] Stephen: So it's not a medical trailer. [1678.38] Stephen: Let's just clear this up because I think I was being rude there. [1680.78] Stephen: It's not a medical trailer. [1682.3] Stephen: It's now a mobile podcast studio and there is no, its history has been excised. [1692.14] Curry: So is it like a challenge podcast where we all [1694.38] Curry: spit in it while it goes over speed bumps and we try and do the show or something? [1701.34] Stephen: Oh my God. [1702.3] Stephen: Are you a television executive? [1704.14] Stephen: Christ, that was great. [1706.3] Jack: Quick. [1707.18] Jack: No, not with those metal workbenches, mate. [1711.18] Jack: It crack your head on one of them. [1713.5] Frank: This episode was recorded in front of a live online audience, [1716.62] Frank: downloaded and edited to make sense when it's played audio only, [1720.22] Frank: censored to please the iTunes people, hosted on the internet, [1723.1] Frank: forwarded through to your podcast provider, downloaded, playing on your device, [1726.78] Frank: and is now playing in your ears. [1728.7] Frank: All thanks to our Patreons. [1730.78] Frank: Consider joining them and you'll also get other online benefits. [1734.22] Frank: Find out more at patreon.com forward slash let's drone out. [1739.18] Frank: The other event that has been announced for that same weekend is the Wings Over the Valley, [1745.34] Frank: which is the Valley Flyers in South Wales hosting some wing racing, [1751.34] Frank: which I've been to almost all of these that they've done in previous years, [1757.9] Frank: and they have been great fun. [1759.26] Frank: I highly recommend them. [1761.1] Frank: Caroline Tyler was the last one as well. [1763.74] Frank: It's a great event. [1765.98] Frank: Very, very friendly people. [1768.06] Frank: I mean, they constantly feed you. [1770.46] Frank: It is great. [1772.7] Frank: Highly recommend it. [1775.98] Curry: So which one are you going to get, Frank? [1777.34] Frank: Yes. [1779.02] Frank: Well, that's the question, isn't it? [1780.86] Frank: I'm definitely going wing racing. [1782.22] Frank: And then it was like, Cole's coming over and it's FPV drone fest. [1786.86] Frank: Maybe that's where we're going to end up. [1790.06] Stephen: Well, we should let Cole know that it's all his responsibility. [1793.34] Stephen: We'll be sure to tell him when he next turns up. [1797.74] Frank: Yeah, exactly. [1799.02] Frank: When he lets us know when he's coming. [1802.7] Frank: Also, the other thing is FPV drone fest. [1804.94] Frank: I don't think, as far as I can tell, isn't 100% confirmed [1809.58] Frank: because they're still working on the airspace, [1810.78] Frank: so they're not selling tickets. [1812.46] Frank: I feel like there's going to be a rush on tickets. [1815.42] Frank: I imagine there'll be limited spaces [1817.02] Frank: because it's an FPV event, [1818.54] Frank: and therefore you can only have so many people before it becomes a problem. [1823.58] Stephen: I mean, that's something that you say is not generally something [1826.38] Stephen: that lots of head organizers necessarily subscribe to [1829.74] Stephen: because we are now living in post-facts territory, Frank. [1833.66] Frank: Yeah, okay. [1835.1] Frank: Well, also, I mean, is there less of a problem [1837.82] Frank: if you're confident that almost everyone is on DJI, right? [1841.1] Frank: Because it seems like they can use more frequencies at once. [1844.94] Frank: They'll be fine. [1845.58] Frank: Yeah, I will be now. [1847.58] Frank: I mean, now I have DJI V2. [1853.18] Frank: Yeah, do we know how 04 plays with previous versions? [1858.78] Frank: Like, I mean, DJI is known for being quite rude [1863.1] Frank: and stomping over everything else. [1864.86] Stephen: I would say like an angry parent with an urge to slap, probably. [1869.82] Stephen: That's what I'd say. [1871.58] Stephen: Based on prior DJI experience, as you ascertained, [1874.3] Stephen: it will probably just beat the living **** out of anything [1877.02] Stephen: that solves the next because it's new and shiny. [1879.34] Frank: Yeah, it would just be like, I take priority [1883.58] Frank: until the next thing comes along. [1885.1] Frank: Yeah, that's what I figured. [1887.26] Frank: So me with my V2s, [1889.5] Frank: and I'm going to have the same problem [1890.94] Frank: that I had at the last one with my analog stuff, yeah? [1893.66] Stephen: Well, I mean, even the DJI 03 stuff did have problems. [1898.3] Stephen: If you're in an environment where there were a lot of other digital systems, [1903.42] Stephen: I flew someone's KISS Ultra Quad when it just absolutely carked it [1908.54] Stephen: and fell out the sky because the DJI link went. [1911.9] Stephen: I can't imagine someone's KISS Ultra Quad is falling out the sky. [1915.74] Stephen: Well, no, I was trying someone's very nice bills, [1920.94] Stephen: but unfortunately, slightly cursed on the flight controller side. [1924.7] Stephen: But yeah, because there was a setting where it was locked to a specific channel [1930.14] Stephen: and it didn't automatically move channels, [1932.22] Stephen: someone just jumped on it and boof, it's down the same way as analog would be down. [1936.38] Stephen: A lot of the DJI stuff, it'll do channel hopping, [1939.5] Stephen: but there was a setting with the 03 where you'd lock it to a channel [1943.1] Stephen: and that was supposed to be the sensible way to use it until it is, of course, [1946.54] Stephen: because fundamentally, if you're all digital, [1949.42] Stephen: you just pour as many people into the airspace as you can, [1952.62] Stephen: and everything just reorganizes its channels dynamically, [1955.66] Stephen: which works perfectly until you run out of slots. [1959.9] Stephen: Until it doesn't. [1961.26] Stephen: Until you run out of slots, and then a number of slots is very hypothetical [1966.94] Stephen: because someone could be using 80 megahertz, [1969.5] Stephen: someone else could be using 20 megahertz, so it's all just... [1973.58] Frank: Yeah, I mean, it's fine for the control stuff, right? [1976.7] Frank: Where you've got effectively 100 and something channels [1980.3] Frank: that everything can hop between, but yeah. [1984.46] Stephen: I mean, Andy, you're assuming that people in this hobby are fiscally responsible, [1989.1] Stephen: and I think you fought the first hurdle with that assumption [1992.62] Stephen: because I've been in a bando with people flying 03s to go, [1995.74] Stephen: oh my God, it's amazing. [1996.86] Stephen: Oh, I've just killed another 03. [2000.54] Frank: So what Andy was saying was you will find most people not flying 03 or 04 [2004.78] Frank: on a batch energy due to the cost. [2007.82] Frank: They will be on 02 and walks now. [2011.66] Frank: I'm not sure what his point is though. [2015.22] Stephen: Well, the 02 system, the 50 megabit channel, [2018.5] Stephen: everything was just a bit less likely to... [2022.34] Stephen: I think you'd lock it to a certain channel, [2025.78] Stephen: it wouldn't dynamically jump around, and the bandwidth was lower. [2029.54] Stephen: You didn't... [2030.1] Stephen: With 03, you've got an option to use more bandwidth, [2033.46] Stephen: so essentially more slots. [2035.3] Stephen: A 50 megabit, I think, roughly equated to a 40 megahertz channel width, [2041.62] Stephen: and the 25 megabit was a 20 megahertz channel width, [2045.22] Stephen: and 03 can go up to 80 megahertz channel width. [2049.7] Stephen: So that's bad. [2051.14] Curry: That's basically half your 5.8 gone for one pilot. [2055.46] Curry: I'm using this funky setting called Auto, [2057.7] Curry: which could take all the bandwidth for everything, [2060.82] Curry: but I'm literally a soul man, creepy little person in the woods jumping out at people. [2070.02] Frank: It is the challenge, is multiple people flying together, right? [2075.06] Frank: One person, you just need the noise floor to be low enough, [2080.18] Frank: and you need enough power from your transmitter, [2084.1] Frank: and a good enough receiver to pick it up. [2086.9] Frank: Those are the three things you need when you've got one person. [2089.62] Frank: When you've got two people, you just need the spacing between them to be enough. [2095.78] Stephen: You need to trust the other person, that's first and foremost, [2098.66] Stephen: because you can agree as many things as you want, [2101.38] Stephen: but if you say, I'm on channel one, [2105.06] Stephen: and they're like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, okay, [2107.46] Stephen: and then they just go onto channel one without even thinking, [2111.62] Stephen: that way it happens. [2114.02] Frank: Yeah, that is true. [2115.38] Stephen: They're like, oh, hello feet. [2117.86] Frank: Everyone powering up before you take off is a good thing. [2122.82] Frank: That is definitely convenient, [2125.46] Frank: but then to go more than two people, [2128.34] Frank: then it gets slightly more complicated, right? [2131.14] Frank: And this is, I think, where it quite often ends up being [2135.94] Frank: sort of slightly misunderstood, [2137.86] Frank: and that's definitely where we sort of were for a long time, [2141.94] Frank: was that you kind of imagine, [2144.58] Frank: oh, I've been flying with my buddy, [2146.5] Frank: and as long as we're at least a channel apart, [2151.78] Frank: or two channels on the old fat truck stuff, [2154.02] Frank: it's all fine. [2154.66] Frank: As long as everyone is on odds or everyone is on evens, [2157.78] Frank: it'll all work out all right, [2159.54] Frank: and then you start adding more people, [2161.46] Frank: and it starts all going a bit weird, [2163.14] Frank: and people get poor signal and bleed over and everything, [2166.58] Frank: and you're like, whoa, you must have a terrible transmitter. [2170.26] Frank: You must have broken your antenna. [2171.78] Frank: You must be bleeding out over everything, [2173.54] Frank: and you look at the RF Explorer, [2178.1] Frank: if you've got one of those, and you're like, no, every- [2180.34] Frank: Harmonic distortion to my camera. [2182.02] Frank: Exactly, exactly. [2183.22] Frank: And then you end up, oh, no, it's the IMD, [2186.9] Frank: it's the side channels, [2188.66] Frank: it's the ghost channels, the phantom channels [2191.22] Frank: that appear when you have multiple transmissions, [2199.62] Frank: and then it's okay- [2200.5] Stephen: It's just like a big harmonics on the guitar. [2202.9] Frank: Yeah, exactly, exactly. [2206.1] Frank: And so then it's like, oh, okay, [2208.42] Frank: for every two that you're using, [2212.1] Frank: it ends up using two more either side of that, [2216.34] Frank: and so you very quickly have used up all your channels. [2220.02] Frank: So that's where we ended up, [2221.62] Frank: and this is from Oscar Lang's recommendations, [2226.5] Frank: and then what we've tried out in the wild, [2228.58] Frank: if you use the raceband equivalent of channels [2232.74] Frank: one and three for your analog, [2235.3] Frank: and you use your racebands seven and eight for your digital, [2238.82] Frank: you can get four people up fairly easily, [2242.26] Frank: and so you end up actually having sort of phantom stuff [2248.58] Frank: on two and four, and even on like- [2255.38] Stephen: The one good thing about going digital here [2257.22] Stephen: is that it was kind of designed around this problem [2260.18] Stephen: to try and saturate that bandwidth [2262.18] Stephen: with as much Wi-Fi or Bluetooth [2264.9] Stephen: or whatever it was as possible, [2266.26] Stephen: so they tend to be a bit more resistant, [2268.98] Stephen: and they're just discarded [2270.42] Stephen: instead of knock out someone else's signal. [2272.9] Curry: It kind of works. [2275.06] Curry: You don't have the good old fun of analog [2276.9] Curry: where you think everyone's right [2278.34] Curry: because everybody starts, you've got a picture, [2280.02] Curry: yeah, it's just me, it's just me, [2281.54] Curry: and then what happens is someone goes out far, [2283.46] Curry: and then the other person goes close to you, [2285.62] Curry: and then you just get your feed, their feed, [2288.02] Curry: and they're like, ah, help, I don't know where I am, [2290.82] Curry: and then it crosses over all the time. [2293.94] Frank: And that's a factor of your video receiver, right? [2299.06] Frank: That is what we learned at the races, [2301.22] Frank: is that the quality of your video receiver [2305.7] Frank: is going to be what determines [2307.62] Frank: how far you need that exclusion zone around you, [2310.82] Frank: so if you've got people on like [2312.34] Frank: really, really cheap, nasty goggle modules [2316.1] Frank: in the old fat sharks, [2317.46] Frank: you're going to need a bigger exclusion zone [2321.54] Frank: than if you've got the really nice FR632s [2324.82] Frank: that you have on a tripod even slightly further away [2329.54] Frank: that's got all the nice good heat sinks [2332.02] Frank: and voltage control [2333.54] Frank: and does all the nice things in there [2334.9] Frank: to make sure that it is able to select [2336.9] Frank: just the frequency you're trying to pick up, [2339.3] Frank: but then digital, I imagine, [2342.66] Frank: well, definitely our experience can go the step further [2346.5] Frank: because it is being digital about it [2349.54] Frank: and it's not trying to pick up [2350.74] Frank: every little fluctuation in the voltage. [2355.46] Frank: It knows what it should be receiving, [2357.54] Frank: it can do a bit more filtering, [2358.9] Frank: and so it can say, [2360.66] Frank: I'm getting exactly this channel [2363.94] Frank: and you don't have to worry about it, [2366.26] Frank: because ultimately the antenna [2368.58] Frank: has to be able to pick up all the channels [2371.22] Frank: and it's the receiver that is tuning to one particular one [2376.1] Frank: and it's how well it rejects the channels [2378.98] Frank: that you're not interested in in that particular moment [2381.54] Frank: that has to determine that exclusion zone around you. [2388.1] Frank: But you've also got the problem [2389.7] Frank: of the goggles emitting stuff, [2391.86] Frank: which you still need that exclusion zone. [2394.74] Stephen: I think from memory that comes down to things [2397.62] Stephen: with digital TV you use, [2400.26] Stephen: and I think it's the same with the goggles that we've got. [2403.06] Stephen: You've got QAM, [2408.82] Stephen: quad something, amplitude modulation, [2411.3] Stephen: which is the signal encoding. [2413.62] Stephen: They're basically running multiple signals [2415.78] Stephen: of the same bandwidth at the same time [2418.9] Stephen: and they try and saturate it to the point [2420.9] Stephen: where the Huffman encoded output [2423.22] Stephen: is saturating the available signal-to-noise ratio [2427.78] Stephen: that you've got in the space. [2430.1] Stephen: And there you are. [2432.82] Stephen: Transmitted signal is not just a single carrier wave, [2435.38] Stephen: it's just a bunch of carrier waves all summed together. [2440.66] Frank: But what I mean is, [2443.7] Frank: if your goggles aren't transmitting [2445.3] Frank: and you only have to worry about [2446.5] Frank: all the other VTXs around you, [2449.86] Frank: then you only need, [2451.86] Frank: if you've got a really, really good receiver, [2453.94] Frank: a really good VRX that can pick up your channel [2457.3] Frank: and your channel only. [2458.74] Frank: You're heading off, Kerry. [2459.54] Frank: Yeah, see you guys later. [2461.46] Frank: Bye. [2461.78] Frank: Enjoy. [2462.82] Stephen: Have a nice day, Kerry. [2463.7] Jack: Bye, Kerry. [2464.5] Jack: You've given my laugh to the wife. [2468.26] Stephen: Yeah, so the way digital's used, [2470.18] Stephen: the point I was trying to make is [2471.78] Stephen: the way they encoded it, [2473.7] Stephen: it's based on the assumption [2474.98] Stephen: that there's going to be competition for the spectrum [2477.3] Stephen: because it's designed for things [2478.66] Stephen: like mobile phones, for Wi-Fi, for Bluetooth, [2481.46] Stephen: for environments where you've got [2483.54] Stephen: as many people as possible all jammed into a space [2486.5] Stephen: and you just want to keep everyone online. [2489.3] Stephen: So it's a bit more resistant. [2490.9] Stephen: And that makes it inherently hostile [2493.3] Stephen: for someone who needs the purity of an analog signal [2496.9] Stephen: because the digital components are basically [2499.86] Stephen: jostling for every piece of the signal to noise ratio. [2503.14] Stephen: They can get their hands on to transmit [2504.74] Stephen: as much data as they possibly can. [2506.9] Stephen: And the analog client is just assuming [2510.26] Stephen: that they will have a noise-free slot [2513.78] Stephen: that they can send their signal on. [2515.62] Stephen: And it'll come out the other end as they send it. [2518.5] Stephen: The way it's the digital clients are just like, [2521.62] Stephen: well, let's just put overlays of our signal [2525.3] Stephen: in as many different ways as we can. [2527.62] Stephen: And then we'll try and pull out some version [2529.46] Stephen: of the signal with as much precision as possible [2531.7] Stephen: at the other end and then render it [2533.78] Stephen: in such a way that you still have a useful image. [2536.5] Stephen: And that usable image can get pretty rough [2539.22] Stephen: before it becomes unfliable. [2542.42] Stephen: Whereas an analog pilot would be like, [2544.02] Stephen: oh, this is wonderful. [2546.26] Stephen: It seems that I've got rotating black lines [2548.82] Stephen: every quarter screen and I can't see. [2552.1] Frank: Yeah, because then you've also got the issue of, [2556.18] Frank: if you're an analog pilot flying with digital systems around you, [2560.58] Frank: you've got the noise floor has been lifted [2563.46] Frank: just by the virtue of there being goggles [2565.94] Frank: splurging out stuff next to you. [2569.46] Frank: So that's already lifted the noise floor a bit. [2571.78] Frank: And you don't even, like you say, [2573.06] Frank: you don't have to lose the signal. [2574.82] Frank: You just need enough noise for your video receiver [2581.7] Frank: to lose that timing signal of when that next field starts. [2586.98] Frank: And if it can't reliably pick that up, [2590.26] Frank: you're going to get that rolling image. [2593.3] Frank: Your color is going to go weird. [2596.02] Frank: All of that stuff is going to start falling apart. [2599.7] Stephen: I am interested in seeing if Open IPC, [2602.9] Stephen: and I'm guessing Open IPC is going to be followed [2605.22] Stephen: by something similar because that tends [2607.22] Stephen: to be the nature of a project. [2609.22] Stephen: If they can actually make use of the really, [2611.62] Stephen: really cheap hardware. [2612.82] Stephen: Because I recently started looking at some security cameras [2616.9] Stephen: like wanted to put some cameras around the house [2621.06] Stephen: and get them for so little money, [2624.1] Stephen: like 30 quid for something with a Wi-Fi receiver [2627.14] Stephen: and the camera. [2628.5] Stephen: And it's got a whole load of plastic casing [2630.42] Stephen: and stuff as well. [2631.22] Stephen: I'm like, wow, how do they even kick them out of this price? [2634.5] Stephen: That's comparable to saying, you know, [2637.46] Stephen: I'm going to buy like an analog VTX and a camera. [2640.66] Stephen: 30 quid, it's not bad money. [2643.38] Stephen: If they can make it work at that price point, [2646.1] Stephen: then it should be accommodating to people [2650.02] Stephen: who are finding that analog flying in groups [2652.18] Stephen: is becoming more of a problem as time goes on. [2656.02] Stephen: But it needs a bit more democratizing, I think. [2658.66] Stephen: We're not quite at the point where it's accessible [2660.82] Stephen: to everyone. [2661.94] Stephen: We've got Runcam and Cadex. [2664.98] Stephen: What is it? [2665.62] Stephen: Jumping on board? [2666.42] Stephen: Runcam and... [2667.38] Stephen: No, Emacs. [2668.1] Stephen: That was it. [2668.58] Stephen: Runcam and Emacs jumping on board. [2672.34] Stephen: They just need to be a weenie bit more mature. [2674.42] Stephen: And I keep remembering back like, [2675.94] Stephen: when did I say it's 18 months out? [2677.86] Stephen: And I think it was the last time we talked to Open HD [2680.82] Stephen: and we talked to Open IPC. [2682.1] Stephen: And I was like, this looks very prototype. [2686.18] Stephen: I think that's at least a year ago now. [2688.98] Stephen: So I'm hoping, like fingers crossed, [2691.3] Stephen: end of the summer things start to look more like a product [2695.14] Stephen: and less like a lab bench. [2697.46] Frank: Yeah, I mean, it already looks fairly producty. [2699.86] Frank: Whether it acts producty is yet to be decided. [2705.38] Stephen: I was going to say my other tech noodlings [2708.1] Stephen: have been ridiculous headphones, [2709.94] Stephen: which I'm wearing right now. [2711.54] Stephen: I decided to indulge in some plain and magnetic in-ear headphones. [2717.86] Stephen: So these are the 7 Hertz Timeless, [2721.14] Stephen: which I got from some what they're calling Chai-Fi company. [2725.94] Stephen: Chinese audio manufacturers who are just throwing [2729.06] Stephen: huge great plates of audio spaghetti at walls [2731.38] Stephen: and seeing what sticks. [2733.22] Frank: That is generally the development process, right? [2736.74] Frank: I mean, that is the culture in like Chinese and all of that [2739.86] Frank: is you find things and you put them together [2742.42] Frank: and you try and sell it. [2743.54] Frank: And if it works, it's almost a genetic algorithm. [2746.74] Frank: You just, whatever sells, you make more of those. [2751.06] Stephen: They even came with a box of like replaceable nozzles. [2755.22] Stephen: So each of these is like you've got a transducer [2758.9] Stephen: and it's got a foam ear tip I put on there. [2761.46] Stephen: It's got a plug that's detachable, [2763.22] Stephen: which I like because I break wires a lot [2765.22] Stephen: so I can replace the wires. [2768.26] Stephen: But underneath the ear tip, it's got a filter in there, [2772.18] Stephen: which has got a filter in there [2773.7] Stephen: and you can actually change that to alter [2776.34] Stephen: the characteristics of the sound. [2777.62] Stephen: So, you know, let more trouble through or less trouble and blah, blah. [2782.02] Stephen: Sounds a bit like a gimmick, but maybe I'll get around to looking at it. [2784.98] Stephen: I found a box of similar filters with a bunch of earphones [2789.62] Stephen: that just broke and realized that I thought it was a good idea, [2792.34] Stephen: but left them in the box for two years until the earphones broke. [2796.9] Stephen: Oh, that's not fun. [2802.51] Stephen: Stuff happens. [2804.19] Stephen: Yeah, I actually have a soup container full of earphones. [2809.47] Frank: We've got spam in the chat. [2811.31] Jack: We must be exciting. [2812.83] Jack: Have we got sex bots? [2814.43] Jack: Bring on the sex bots. [2817.31] Jack: Oh, no, we've just got Zoe. [2818.91] Stephen: Oh, Zoe. [2820.03] Stephen: Zoe brings the sex bots. [2825.95] Frank: On Twitch, we've got spam. [2829.23] Frank: We've got emblematictransaction2 is posting links in our Twitter channel. [2834.59] Frank: Oh, thanks, Zoe. [2835.87] Stephen: Zoe says she loves us all. [2838.67] Jack: Thank you, Zoe. [2839.79] Jack: Thanks, Shoutout to me for not being good at the FPV hobby. [2844.99] Jack: You didn't shout at me. [2847.79] Stephen: Don't look at that. [2848.51] Stephen: True at all. [2849.15] Stephen: I think that all this is saying is that Twitch is fine with swamp buffers. [2854.27] Stephen: We don't actually have anyone interacting at all from Twitch. [2857.71] Stephen: The only thing we've got, oh, dreams are fragile. [2860.59] Stephen: Whoever that is. [2863.31] Jack: That's weird, though. [2864.27] Jack: That's weird. [2865.39] Stephen: Oh, wait, polar nights. [2867.47] Stephen: I've got two people on Twitch and a spammer. [2870.27] Stephen: So that's like 30% of the Twitch audience are spammers. [2880.11] Frank: I don't think that's going to be the place where we spend lots of time. [2884.35] Stephen: Let's get to the heart of the periphery. [2886.75] Stephen: Zoe comments that the tariffs are going to heavily impact the sex bot industry. [2892.51] Stephen: You thought we're going to talk about FPV, but no, straight to the heart of the periphery. [2898.8] Stephen: That's what's really good. [2900.16] Stephen: I think truck supporters are going to really feel it, to be honest, [2902.88] Stephen: if they can't buy their imported realistic F toys. [2908.24] Stephen: We'll see how it goes. [2909.92] Jack: Zoe, you've done an out of limits announcement the other day. [2917.68] Jack: I wondered what it was. [2919.44] Stephen: Zoe, I think Jack wants to know how your frames and whatnot are going. [2924.56] Stephen: Do I? [2925.12] Stephen: What's she doing frames? [2926.64] Stephen: She had a whole bunch of frames. [2928.08] Stephen: I remember frames of Raspberry Pi scrapped onto them and all sorts. [2931.28] Stephen: I was fascinated. [2932.4] Stephen: And then it was just, I'm not sure whether I've got a prototype phase. [2936.56] Jack: No, I haven't. [2938.0] Jack: I have not kept up with it. [2940.8] Jack: I don't know. [2942.0] Jack: Yeah, I'm worried. [2943.28] Jack: Sorry. [2943.68] Jack: I mean, I'm trying to defend us from sex bots. [2948.16] Stephen: You just got to slap them out of the way. [2949.92] Stephen: Just slap them out of the way. [2952.72] Stephen: Oh, well. [2954.48] Stephen: Oh, they're going great. [2956.24] Stephen: Zoe FPV says it's going great. [2958.72] Stephen: There's nothing wrong. [2959.76] Stephen: The world is not burning down around me. [2962.72] Stephen: So excellent. [2963.52] Stephen: Well done, Zoe. [2965.84] Stephen: I can imagine. [2972.4] Stephen: Yeah, the struggle sounds decidedly real, [2975.28] Stephen: but we wish you all the best luck in the world. [2977.44] Stephen: And we hope it goes great. [2979.44] Stephen: Don't show that. [2981.04] Stephen: Turn that crap. [2981.76] Stephen: What the ****? [2982.88] Stephen: Get out of there. [2984.48] Jack: Who did that? [2988.16] Jack: Was that you? [2989.44] Jack: Yeah, it was. [2993.12] Jack: I just, I couldn't help myself. [2995.44] Jack: I thought it'd be funny. [2997.2] Stephen: You're the reason we can't. [3001.2] Jack: I know. [3001.92] Jack: I know. [3002.88] Jack: I mean, how do they haven't developed something [3005.44] Jack: to automatically figure this out? [3007.44] Jack: It's difficult. [3008.0] Stephen: Yeah, I don't know. [3009.2] Stephen: The first time someone turns up and just posts a URL [3012.56] Stephen: with a bunch of crap. [3015.76] Frank: The difference between genuine interaction and spam [3019.2] Frank: is unfortunately slim for most of the internet. [3025.76] Frank: Very marginal. [3027.2] Frank: I think that tells you more about most user interactions [3033.92] Frank: than it does about the spam, I think. [3035.84] Frank: But we have a very friendly community here. [3039.68] Frank: Well, there you are. [3040.48] Stephen: If you're looking for a jobby job, [3043.36] Stephen: someone who does job related things in a job manner [3046.4] Stephen: with professional job style skills. [3048.96] Stephen: Zoe FPV is looking for a job. [3051.36] Stephen: We know she can fly upside down and the right way up [3054.64] Stephen: and console the things and design things and CAD things [3058.24] Stephen: and talk to a camera and explain things [3060.32] Stephen: and race things very fast. [3063.28] Stephen: These are all skills. [3064.08] Frank: And organized freestyle events. [3066.8] Frank: Oh, yeah. [3067.2] Frank: I mean, that's project management. [3069.2] Frank: Yeah. [3069.76] Frank: Whole extra project management, product delivery. [3073.84] Stephen: All the stakeholders of management. [3076.08] Stephen: Yeah. [3076.4] Stephen: All of that. [3078.0] Jack: Can I add something at the end of the show? [3085.6] Jack: Zoe, are you are you all right with the C word [3088.32] Jack: or does it offend you heavily? [3090.64] Jack: Because I want to use it. [3092.16] Jack: Hi, Jack. [3092.72] Jack: We're doing so well. [3094.64] Jack: She had the ability to not be that word on Roto Riot. [3098.96] Jack: That's a triumph in itself. [3104.64] Stephen: Deep breath. [3105.6] Stephen: Deep breath, Frank. [3107.44] Stephen: Warsaw. [3108.0] Jack: Oh, that actor. [3115.12] Stephen: Back to being. [3120.0] Jack: Breathe outcome. [3122.72] Jack: 17 hours. [3127.28] Jack: Is that it? [3129.04] Jack: I mean, you don't have to put up with it anymore. [3134.72] Jack: Are you going to be like hitting that? [3137.2] Stephen: He's not going to care about injuries. [3140.32] Stephen: He's just going to grab that lever as fast as he can. [3144.24] Stephen: He doesn't care if he walks out of the show, [3145.92] Stephen: sits in shorter. [3147.12] Stephen: Yeah. [3147.68] Stephen: Doesn't matter. [3148.8] Frank: I don't need a cartilage in my spine. [3151.36] Stephen: If he's just like that the whole time, [3152.96] Stephen: and he can't even look anyone in the eye, fine. [3156.72] Stephen: Sooner or later, it's going to be fine. [3158.4] Stephen: You know, there's going to be a technology that enables us [3160.96] Stephen: to reach through the internet and slap Jack around the face. [3163.6] Frank: We need more pyro. [3166.72] Frank: That's what we need. [3168.0] Frank: We need to have control of the pyro behind Jack, [3172.56] Frank: around Jack with his buckets of acetone and isopropanol. [3181.44] Stephen: The unlabeled ones. [3182.56] Stephen: Oh, you've got labels on them. [3183.84] Stephen: Oh, you spoil yourself. [3185.76] Stephen: I used to have two squeezy bottles. [3187.92] Stephen: He's like, one of these is water. [3189.2] Stephen: One of these is acetone. [3192.08] Jack: Yeah. [3192.56] Jack: This one has no label. [3194.4] Jack: This one's especially even. [3196.64] Jack: Is it flammable? [3197.44] Jack: Yes, that one is. [3202.48] Jack: That's not the one! [3206.96] Jack: Hang on. [3207.52] Jack: Let me just... [3214.72] Frank: Oh, dear. [3215.92] Stephen: That's on fire as well. [3217.52] Stephen: At least that one burns with a colourful flame. [3219.84] Stephen: No, someone sent us a donation. [3222.88] Stephen: Please, look, the guy is losing his deposit on his carpet. [3226.88] Stephen: Not necessarily because of you, but certainly to help you. [3230.64] Stephen: Please, please, please be a wonderful patron. [3233.6] Stephen: Join the scrolling list of wonderful people [3236.32] Stephen: that take pity on Jack and his poor carpet. [3241.2] Jack: I definitely broke Rule Zero on that one. [3243.44] Jack: Rule Zero, do not be on fire. [3245.84] Frank: Yes, thank you all our patrons for keeping this online, [3250.48] Frank: keeping this going, and keeping the edited audio-only version, [3255.36] Frank: hitting all the RSS feeds on Sunday afternoon. [3258.4] Frank: Oh, my goodness. [3263.28] Jack: It's okay. [3263.76] Jack: There's the lid. [3265.52] Frank: Before Jack sets fire to his entire flat, [3268.96] Frank: this is going to be the end of this week's show. [3272.0] Frank: Thank you for watching. [3273.04] Frank: Let's turn out episode 503 out of 520. [3279.2] Frank: Join us again next week when Jack will maybe be broadcasting [3284.48] Frank: from somewhere else that isn't on fire. [3288.08] Frank: Join in to find out. [3290.24] Frank: Thank you, everyone. [3290.88] Frank: Join us for a next show where Jack will be wrapped [3292.88] Jack: entirely in cooling gel. [3296.32] Jack: It's flammable and flammable. [3298.0] Jack: I get those two mixed up. [3300.16] Jack: All right. [3300.72] Jack: Thank you, everyone. [3301.92] Jack: Goodbye. [3302.96] UNKNOWN: Goodbye, and good luck on fire.
